Ordered Pizza ffeo Tony's Roma yesterday via Mr delivery beside them taking about an hour to give it to the driver the Pizza was rotten the crust had fallen off.im not sure what they had used it was supposed to be a Russian and mushroom where burnt and then the actual Pizza itself was dry as hell.we spent R120 for this which is my hard earned money and the cheese on top tasted rotten.i will keep supporting Mr Delivery but Tony's Roma I will never order anything.my wife couldn't manage to it.i even had an upset stomach.worst food I tasted.Tonys Roma you don't even deserve a star. Thursday night - 21st Feb. Probably the worst meal I have had in ages. Took the family there for the ribs special last night. No front of shop staff or management to greet the guests. Dead atmosphere. We ordered the ribs and asked for them to be well basted. We waited for over 45 minutes for the food to arrive (in an empty restaurant) . The ribs were very dry, overcooked and very tough. The waiter - there was only one - never once came to check on us during the meal. When we asked for additional basting, it arrived straight from the fridge in a stainless steel container. Dirty dishes were packed in behind the entrance counter instead of being taken to the kitchen. Throughout the evening there was no management in sight - only the one waiter. The ribs may be well priced, but the food quality was exceptionally poor. Rather pay a bit more and go to Black Bull. It was a very poor experience and we will definitely not be coming back. ....... lucky to be getting 1 star.

I've picked up sn Uber Eats order here but have not dined here before. In my brief experience here I was very impressed by the friendliness and eagerness of the staff to help one. This normally doesn't happen when entering an establishment as a delivery driver. And if they treat delivery drivers in this manner I can just imagine how well they treat their diners. The atmosphere in this place is homely and electric (good thing) with the most mouthwatering aromas of good food cooking in the air. The restaurant is very clean and well laid out to maximize usage of space but with enough room to move without feeling you'll bump into another diner making them eat their fork. I will definitely be taking my family here as diners rather than a delivery driver soon

Upon walking into Tony's Roma, my family and I approached the staff, but they just looked at us until I eventually said, "Hello, can I have a table for three, please?" The atmosphere at the restaurant, including the service, was not very welcoming or friendly. It was so bad that after sitting down for a couple of minutes we decided that we'd rather leave. So we took our order to go. While driving home, being famished and all, I decided to try the fries. My goodness, much to my distaste, it was dry and hard. My husband ordered a pizza, and the texture was all mushy. Needless to say, we lost our appetite for the evening and decided we'd never go back to Tony's Roma again.

Decided to try Tony's Roma yesterday, 26 November 2023 with a group of 12 of us including kids. Big mistake. Got there no host to welcome us, finally got a waiter who didn't even bother to greet, he pulled 3 tables together and random chairs looking super annoyed. We sat unassisted for about 15mins while a beggar was asking for R2 through the glass window. Needless to say I packed up my family and headed to Primi instead where we were greeted much warmly and there was a great ambience. Don't bother with Tony's. The empty restaurant at lunch time should've been a red flag but we decided to give the benefit of the doubt. But lesson learned. Never again, disgusting service!!!!!

Gr8 vibe, Gr8 place. Very chilled but can get a little roudy if sports are on because they have a generator for load shedding.

I must admit I was a little bit disappointed in the meal yesterday. My husband ordered the steak, chips and eggs. He requested soft eggs, which he got but the yolks were broken. It was like the chef wanted to make sure they were soft. My meal was the chicken schnitzel with a cheese sauce. The schnitzel was great, the crumbs perfect. The down fall was, 2 beautiful done schnitzels but there was not enough cheese sauce. I ran out of sauce through half of my first one. The sauce was very good too, but definitely not enough.

My pregnant wife orders 2x ladies ribs online for collection, gets there on time for their ETA and its the bigger one which is just too much. She had to wait 20 minutes before someone could help and the answer was to only then start making the new ribs. Fast forward to getting home which isn't far away, the chips and onion rings are stale and cold while the ribs are not even room temperature. Honestly, just so disappointed with the service and the food.

I must say that this restaurant have improved tremendously. 2 years ago I was scared to go into this restaurant but since late last year I started going there and went there again today. They have changed so much. Upped their game and wow the food is really delicious and the prices are very decent. 1 Suggestion, get jam for your breakfasts. Everyone likes to have a little bit of jam on their toast. But otherwise very nice. Thanks to Chris, Shadey and the owner, forgot her name now Hanna, something like that. Well done Tony's Roma. I will be back.

All and all it was nyc...only issue waiter was new and didnt know how to handle situasion..my wife ordered the pasta but there was no taste whereby she had to put on pinch of salt and didnt eat the whole portion so thats the chef's fault...but all and all we enjoyed ourselves because of the environment To add i am one of the customers that was at the 50th lastnight

Very poor performance. Tried to phone in an order for collection but their website was down, so no menu available online. Went in person to place an order for 4 pizzas to be kept waiting for almost an hour while the kitchen serviced Mr. Delivery orders.There were less than 10 people in the restaurant and nobody had any food.... I could not wait in the non-smoking restaurant section because of the smoke penetration from the bar. I went outside to escape it only to find ash trays at every table. The Pizza was average at best.

Ribs was very dry. Have to buy sause. Fish and calamari were OK. I think because it was on special, the quality is not that good

I visited for the Monday 3 for 2 pizza special. Food was enjoyable however I had almost 2 pizzas left over and wanted to take it away. The staff informed me that that they cannot provide pizza boxes for my leftovers, as the special is a sit down. The waitress was good. The food was good. The rules on boxes for leftovers are ridiculous. I hope the owner is able to reevaluate how this issue they are creating and whether they want repeat customers.

Ordered twice off of the uber eats app, both times spending over 300, ribs portion a joke with the weirdest taste ive ever had with ribs, ordered pasta the second time, once again portion was fit for a kid , plus it clearly tasted like something that was frozen beforehand. Would not recommended on uber eats at all, probably get old food or something because you cant do anything about it on uber .

Hi my name is Declan, I was the young kid there earlier and my waitress was a beautifull lady named jesse❤️ now im a kid and barely know how to place a review. But i was searching how to write a review for around 10 minutes.(if you ever choose on the menu I recommend you get the 1 kilo ribs) I was so impressed that my tiny old tummy could hold that much, but it was to good to refuse P.S thank you so much to the chef for making time for me to talk to him

Our waitress was a little forgetful and distracted but overall very friendly and pleasant. She was however severely let down by the kitchen staff. Table of five, ordered two starters, four main meals, and two rounds of drinks; the food took so long to come that our visit lasted nearly two full hours! Considering that we were one of only two tables in the restaurant at the time this was truly pathetic. In addition the food was honestly well below average.

Gambling machines, friendly bar service and good atmosphere. The staff is great when you get to know them, I'm from the industry and realise how important it is to recognize your client and bring your best, whenever I go they bring their best. The chefs are great and make sure to thank them personally, ask your waiter to invite the chef out and then break out your wallet. If you don't enjoy the service then tell them, they will improve.

Went during lunchtime. If there's one thing I'll complain about is that the TV's need replacing- they're ancient. I'll never be able to watch live sports. It will strain my eyes.

Popped in to watch the cricket. SA v Aus. It's a proper local and on the night, there was a quiz evening. I did not eat as the bar area is a smoking area and I don't like eating in a smoke filled room. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. The locals were having a great time with the quizmaster. All in all a fun evening.

Great food but lack of waiters and doing absolutely no prep work for the Rugby World Cup was disappointing. I watch all the rugby here but looking for alternative where I can order as I please and not have to fight for waiters attention. You could have had 6 beer bucket specials. Brekkie and beer special. World Cup winner champagne special. It was just business a usual. Slow with little interest. Good luck.

As a first time customer, i must admit i was rather disappointed. After hearing only good things about their food, i decided to give it a go and made an order though uber. Sadly, my chips seemed to be stale/re-fried, and my burger thrown together with practically no sauce. The patty itself was horribly over cooked and dry, which made it difficult to eat. Definitely wont be order from Tonys Roma again.

Really disappointed after being a loyal customer for years. Pizza has gone up massively in price, but down on size, toppings and quality... thought the 1st time might be a fluke, but for the 3rd time today I was charged R10 for extra mushrooms. There were 3 minute pieces, the garlic didn't even make it onto the pizza and it was undercooked. I wont order again. Pity

Pizza is good, but the rest is dismal. The waiter did not even know what a mojito is and didn't think to ask the barman about it. Any bar should be able to make a classic cocktail. I ended up ordering cappuccino, since that was the only word the waiter could recognise and when it arrived, I could taste that is was the premix powder stuff. Nasty. Will not go again.

Id maybe suggest coming here if you have time to spare, if you sitting at the bar it will be quicker than getting a table and waiting for a waiter to bring through orders. It seems as if there are not enough waiters for the tables. i don't mind waiting for food, but sitting with no drinks or food for a while is interesting. But good vibe and good food.

The waitress Lisa was amazing. All the dishes, especially the fish was prepared to perfection by a Mauritian chef Rajesh. Will highly recommend for a good affordable night out.

Fantastic food all round. How thy managed to do the pizza in the exact way I like I don't know but it was very much appreciated! Our waiter was exceptional (did not catch his name unfortunately) he was always op it the whole meal. The decor could be updated but you won't notice once your food arrives.

Paid R130 for this excuse of grilled chicken schnitzel that was incredibly dry (could only get this rubbery texture if you try to get it) with runny mushroom sauce! Sies, expected a bit more pride from your kitchen!

Ordered the Eisbein. Quite possibly the best Eisbein in the western suburbs of Cape Town. Definitely the best value for money, but the meal itself was just simply outstanding. Service was pathetic to start with but improved significantly after a minor hissy fit, hence the four and not five stars.

They play English football over SA international T20 against India; the third and decider. Ridiculous, two people watching the football and half a dozen ask to change to cricket but forced to watch Liverpool? And the could have been more polite, instead treat us like we asking for too much.

A restaurant with a separate sports bar. Was very quite for a Saturday night. No karaoke as advertised. Waitress was amazing and attentive. Food was great. Will definitely try a Thursday next as suggested by the waitress.

Lekker place place nice and warm in winter has slots if you like that sort of thing. Recently revamped near to Spar. Great food pizzas are great and priced good to. Taxes and uber available too. Nice all rounder of a pub and restaurant. Nice atmosphere there to.

Went for burger special. Was nice until my son found a piece of plastic from the burger in his mouth. The manager did not bother to come to apologise. Instead someone from the kitchen was sent. Was my first time eating here.. Management is not up to scratch.

Excellent on all levels...awesome burgers...Great ambience...Nice friendly people....polite and friendly staff...has inside and outside seating...lots of space...enjoyed myself tremendously

Our first time..we sat in non smoking, the smell of smoke in the air was not nice for us that don't smoke. Perhaps ventilation problem? Food was good and reasonable, but the service was very slow, seemed like they short staffed.

Good food! The service is great! This place is also very clean and the setup is nice. It has a side where one can enjoy karaoke, and a bar then on the other side it’s more of a restaurant set up.

We visit weekly and enjoy the live TV and chilled environment and delicious meat and blue cheese pizza. The people are awesome including Petros.
