Placed a click and collect order at 11am and got the invoice email just before 1pm. Thought the item would be ready but didnt receive a text so drove on down to Toolstation Dartford to collect the item. Only ordered one thing to get myself out of a hole so gave Rob and Jay the order number. Rob mentioned there was a backlog of orders they were desperately working hard to clear and my 1 item isnt likely to be ready for another couple of hours. Not really wanting to drive home and back again I explained the reasons for my 1 item requirement and he made all the efforts possible to ensure a very good customer experience. Waited a couple of minutes and he came back with said item so I left very happy. Would recommend going to Toolstation Dartford but please people have patience in this current climate! Very rude guy on reception- click & collect - ordered items, two days before I went to collect them. I had invoices to prove that items were ready, however when I got the shop..., the guy bluffed me off that they were still catching up with orders placed before mine. Had to leave , then went back the next day. Same guy , rude and unfriendly!! Managed to locate one order but couldn’t find the second one!!!! I asked him why they had invoiced when the item was out of stock??? Answer was .....” you will be refunded within 5 day .....” no apologies nor courtesy!!!. I have been using this shop for over 5yrs but found this encounter to be very very rude

Everyone at Toolstation Dartford are doing an amazing job during this lockdown click and collect only service. They are all working together well to keep themselves and the clients safe, yet working fast and efficient to get the cues down and the orders out. I’m a regular at toolstation dartford and have always noticed Dannielle in particular to be very friendly and has a very good work attitude. You really get the feeling she wants to help, she takes charge and gets the job done. Not sure if Dannielle is a manager, but needs to be if she isn’t! Was there to collect an online order. An unwelcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in to the store. Lots of staff running around and only one person serving at the front desk. When he finished with the customer he was serving he walked off. After a few minutes a reluctant individual arrived and asked what I wanted. I collected my order. I wanted a few other items but because of the atmosphere I decided to go across the car park to Screwfix, A totally different experience. The staff at Toolstation would do well to study the customer experience found at Screwfix. Screwfix 1 Toolstation 0

Ordered one of the drain cleaners for collection at the crayford depot. Next day at 7:30 am got an email confirmation stating ready for collection. When i went to collect at 12 pm they said thete has been a mistake as it is not available. A phone call could have avoided almost 1 hr of my time going waste. Strange thing is jusy after that i again tried buying it elsewhere it was showing 5 available stock in Crayford. Inventory issues or staff issues, not handled well!

Dont waste your time with buying through click and collect you dont get your items saying 1 day waiting time but the got 3 days of orders waiting b collected so really till people go collect everyones just in back log of mess none staff know what there doing u cant make complaint over phone atm or get your money back, you should be taking money or selling anything if cant keep up with supply n demand through click n collect services your offer

I've been shopping at Toolstation Crayford since I moved to the area a couple of years ago, not only are their prices unbelievably good but also of great quality. I've never returned anything through being faulty to date. The staff are without doubt the friendliest bunch I've had the pleasure to encounter, out of all the toolstation outlets that I've been to in SE London this bunch nicks it hands down..... 10/10

it was supposed to be 5 stars before I wanted to pick up an item from the dartford branch but changed to 1 because it can't be done less. I got an email that is ready to collect. after 2 days I wanted to pick up the ordered item. Unfortunately they have big mess, they lost my order in this mess. they didn't even want to look in all bags, it was easier to make a refund I do not recommend.

I’ve used TS dartford branch many times and always receive great service. very friendly and helpful staff in store such as Damien who was on the counter this morning and asked all customers if they needed any help while looking through the catalogues. Also very useful that you can order online and see if available in store before leaving home and collect almost immediately if needed.

Very challenging times in retail at the moment, but many thanks to Rob at Toolstation Dartford for helping me out with my essential electrical item this morning (my elderly customer had no power and urgently needed a new circuit breaker). Maybe Toolstation could reduce visitor numbers by making decorating (etc) items delivery only? These items aren't essential!

Good crew at this branch. always mentioning it to clients as a decent and cheaper alternative to B&Q, Homebase etc for things like screws and fixings and lamps, tools and much more. Always good prices. Any items not in stock normally can be got the next day. AND ........ a freevend coffee machine, very handy for busy tradesmen. Well done Toolstation!

Damien provided me with excellent customer service went to beyond extreme to help me I have never had experience like this from tool station and I’m a regular customer fantastic was happy to help me ordered a few bits for me from a different branch called me up saying they had been delivered helped me pack the items I couldn’t thank Damien enough
