Moving is always stressful and there’s so many things to consider, including booking a removal company. Where others called me daily to make a decision following their quote, Total Movers let us decide and contact them. They weren’t the cheapest we found but it’s worth paying that bit extra for the service. Lee and colleagues were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and they made moving an easy task for us. I barely lifted a finger (except when making the coffee!) and all they asked me and my husband to do was direct where to put things. They were also very understanding that our cats were worried and didn’t know what was going on and made sure they were safe and looked after whilst they moved our items out of the flat. They had two vans packed, drove me to my new property (husband came later with the cats!) and unloaded everything into my room of choice, all in just under 4 hours. Amazing! With the stress that goes with moving home, finding the right property, exchanging, solicitors and then the actual moving day, which is finally such a relief when you get the keys to your new home and can call it yours. The removals are very important and again something that needs to be thought of. Ben and Lee were absolutely fantastic, they was so efficient and took out all the stress of the move and just 'cracked on'. Nothing was any trouble and everything was moved in perfect condition. No damage, scratches e.t.c to anything. Everything was placed in the rooms as instructed and even helped arranged the furniture in the rooms in the best possible layout. They worked so hard and couldn't have done more. Floor protection was laid out in both the existing and new property. And finally, the cost of the move was very reasonable for the time and packaging materials. You can't go wrong. You won't get better. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend Total Movers, they were absolutely incredible. I was quite stressed about moving as I was moving out of a top floor flat without a lift and a lot of my items were going into storage. Some furniture needed to be dismantled to get down the stairs which they explained beforehand, and on moving day they had the tools to further dismantle some furniture that was still too big. They provide storage meaning I didn't have to worry about sorting my own one out and properly storing my items long-term, which massively helped. To top it all off they helped organise the furniture in my new place and moved some heavy items into a different room to help make space. I look forward to using them again in the future and I'll be recommending them to my friends and family

Ben and Lee helped me move house yesterday and it all went like clockwork. Following an in-person inspection of my home, they provided a quote to include/exclude various services (packing) or items (certain pieces of furniture etc) which was comprehensive and competitive. Packing materials were dropped off at my house well in advance so I could plan and start my packing in advance. On the day they were on time, polite, hardworking and very respectful of my concerns and wishes. Communication was excellent and the job was completely in a timely manner with zero complications or any damage to any of my possessions. They made sure that everything had been moved and relocated exactly where I wanted it. I would highly recommend them - 5 stars indeed.

I used Total Movers for a recent move in Headingly at last minute as I was let down by an alternative company and I only had a week to secure a replacement. I was frantically calling around trying to find a company that could squeeze me in and I was so happy to have found Ben! Ben was excellent and went above and beyond, even helping me with some of the final movement of larger items within the house. Absolutely fantastic and stress-free experience from Ben, Lee and Matt. We had to find a removals company with 5 days notice and while dealing with a family emergency, Ben was so kind and helpful in sorting out a quote and getting us booked in to put our minds at rest. Lee then did a great job packing up our house the weekend before our move, and together with Matt and Ben ensured that everything went smoothly on the day of the move itself. The guys are so friendly and professional, we honestly couldn't fault their service at all.

Completion got delayed but there was no complaints, waited a fair few hours with us, funny and chatty and happy to be here. Total Movers took the stress out of our house move. Ben called to survey the job & arranged for a date for removal to take place. They turned up at the time that had been arranged & everything went like an SAS operation.
