When you enter a bike shop and see the same staff month after month, year after year, you know you have a great team to support you. When I look at bike shops I look for knowledgeable staff that are not biased towards a brand and provide excellent comparative data on each bike or bike accessory and in many cases they have used many products and can provide personal feedback. This is so important vs. just reading what could be biased online review by bloggers. They allow test rides on the roads vs other local shops that "watch" you in parking lot! I found that this shop is well equipped for road cyclists and if you are looking for a niche shop for an MTB only perhaps you should be calling around. Calling out a shop because it doesn't support your needs 100% by giving a poor review is unfair. Also calling out a shop for being an expert in road bikes (which I perceive as a benefit) is also not acceptable. And lastly calling out teams for riding in their area is just well, I best leave that at no comment. David and Jeff have been extremely supporting with my growth as a rider and Mark has been my main mechanic for tune-ups. Mark is very fair, respectful and forthcoming with what needs to be done on my previous Cannondale Synapse, and now my new Cannondale SuperSix Evo, and at a good rate. I highly recommend Neworld to those looking at getting specifically into road cycling, CX, Gravel etc. as well as those looking for that entry quality hybrid or MTB. Keep up the great work gents!

I have recently purchased another bike from the crew at Neworld. I am extremely satisfied as a customer with the attention to detail and excellent customer service I have received from this location. I have been dealing with Neworld now for 3 years and in that time we have bought 4 bikes from them. Without a doubt they truly go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations and deliver you a best in class purchasing experience. Their knowledge, support and desire for you to buy the best bike that fits you for your requirement is certainly unparalleled. Just bought a new road bike from New World. Being away from riding for many years, I was a somewhat ignorant customer that needed some time and information before making my purchase. Darren, Jeff and Victor could not have been more helpful and informative in helping me make a smart and informed decision in a bike that fit my needs and budget, even steering me away from higher priced models that offered less than the model I chose! That type of help is worth every $$ spent! Once I made my decision, they were very diligent in keeping me in the loop with when it would be ready and working with my crazy schedule to get my in to adjust the bike to my personal requirements. I couldn't be happier with my experience there. They answered every question with patience and lots of knowledge. They went out of their way to ensure I was pleased, happy and comfortable. I was even encouraged to check out other shops, if I felt the need to. I found a lot of value in my comfort level and immediate trust of the staff! I won't go anywhere else now! Thanks guys!!!

After riding for about 1 month I went back for a tune up today. The mechanic did a great job of adjusting the drive train and ensuring the ride was in tip top shape. Even Jeff test drove as well! Also was in and out in under 20 minutes. thanks guys -- Was looking across Ontario for a new 2021 Emonda SLR and happen to find that Neworld Cycle had one available in stock. It started with a few initial phone calls to learn more about the bike and their service. They were very helpful, patient and knowledgeable to deal with on the phone. Once In the store, Jeff was really helpful and showed me several different products that would be most valuable to me. Ended up getting new shoes and lights as well. It was a pleasure working with Jeff and his team and I look forward to having my bike regularly maintained and service by the team. The Trek-Segafredo mugs were really cool as well! ;-)

I bought a bike from Neworld and was treated to a very unwelcoming experience. An employee asked me if I needed any help and I told him I'm here to pick up my new mountain bike. He goes behind the counter with his back to me and he says 'you owe me x amount'. He then incorrectly setup my suspension and told me to go on YouTube if I need anything else. I went to a different shop to set up and fit my bike. Adjust suspension, wider saddle, shorter stem, put my pedals on etc. I bought a bike from Neworld and had to get it fitted at a different shop. Do not buy a mountain bike from Neworld. The deposits on the bikes aren't refundable and all sales are final they don't need to help you out since they have your money. Terrible customer service. I can't see myself coming back.

Terrible shop. If you aren't a roadie they don't want your business. If you are a roadie they are nice until you buy a bike, then they only remain nice if said bike is VERY expensive. I heard one of the partners see's customers as dollersigns and not people. Personally I bought a Trek and had the crank come off attached to my pedal, less than 100 km after I took possession. It chipped the paint and damaged the frame. They really didn't care. When I branched out into mountain biking they couldn't care less despite stocking a small selection of mountain bikes. This store isn't about cycling, it's about making money at all costs. They won't be getting anymore of my money.

Super helpful staff! I had a flat tire and after not wanting to pay $1.50 at Husky gas station for air, I asked the staff of Neworld cycle, first time ever being in their shop, and they were more than happy to help. After inflating they found a leak. It turns out I had glass in my tire that they removed, then thoroughly checked the rest of the tire, installed and inflated a new tube and instructed me to just watch the spot where the glass was removed and not to over-inflate. They only charged me $11, just the price of the inner tube and nothing for the labour. The whole process only took them 7 minutes and I was back on the road. Thanks guys! What a great shop!

Not walmart.!!! If you want to hit the trails go down hill or play in traffic... and live...then you need a real bike that gives you the confidence. This store has lots of compitant staff that will sell you what you need...not just try to soak you for every last dime. They will give you advise...their time...and it seems your satisfaction is their goal. Stock is limited due to covid, but i walked out with a new bike that day ...and am in love. New world cycles but old world sales. The customer experience is important to them....almost unheard of in todays retail enviroment. This is the only place i will shop at for any bike related goods going forward.

I had a great experience buying a bike from Neworld Cycle. Victor spent hours with me going over bikes knowing how important the bike choice was for me as I will be cycling across Canada on it. Once the bike came in, in my size he again spent lots of time with me going over it and teaching me how to use the pedals. He came on two test rides with me. I have never had a bike shop before come out on a test ride. I found it really helpful him coming out on the ride being able to explain different techniques, in addition it made me feel more confident about trying the clip ins for the first time. Came in for the first time and got some work done on my trek emonda and this is where you want to bring your bike! Look no further. If you genuinely care for your bike, consider it your baby, ride constantly, you will want to bring it to trek in Burlington every time. The products are high quality and their staff is simply amazing. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy, this will undoubtedly be the shop I bring my bike to from this point on, highly recommend it. Fantastic place! I went to the shop looking for new shoes, cleats and helmet, and was assisted by a lad named David. We looked at different options for both shoes and helmets and David was very kind enough to explain to me how things should fit, comfort it is! Also, I never felt pressured to purchase something that is out of my budget. He always had other options ready in case I said that it's out of my reach. The attitude I received was if you aren't an elite cyclist you don't belong here. Definitely don't cater to new or beginner riders. Having been unable to ride in seven years I needed some basics for my bike to be road safe and comply with traffic laws, he never brought up lights or a bell. After some brief discussion I was left bumbling on my own. He did provide some tips for attaching gear that they would have charged me to install. I went to Brant Cycle to compare and they took the time to help me figure out exactly what I needed and put the gear on for free.

I recently had my bicycle refit by Jeff and it’s amazing the difference, having professionals with so much experience and knowledge fit your bike. Cycling was enjoyable already, but it’s even more fun now that I feel well fitted to my bicycle. It’s almost an entirely different experience. I’m stoked! Don’t be intimidated by the high end road machines in the shop; there’s something for everyone and it’s really the best place to get started or re-approach any kind of cycling: from commuting, to recreation, to competitive racing—go see the folks at New World.

Do not come to this shop if you are a mountain biker, PERIOD! This is a shop that caters to road cyclists, I brought my mountain bike there for service and as far as I can tell nothing was done to it for a $150 charge. I later had to lubricate all the bearings and linkages myself. My bike was even returned to me damaged, the shop refused to fix the damage they had caused. Please take my advice and go to Bicycle Works or Rock and Road for all your mountain bike needs. I own a Trek and I will never let New World touch it again.

I have been using this store for several years now and I have always had great experiences. Over the years we as a family have purchased 3 bikes at a variety of levels and the entire staff always ensures your needs are met. They have always done their best to get you back on the road as fast as possible with a quick tune-up or a bigger repair. Very knowledgeable and helpful I would definitely recommend them as your one stop shop for cycling...their passion for the sport will definitely wear off on you!!!

I have walked in looking for parts and service. First time they looked at my bike and said we don't service those" which means to me.. if it's not Cervelo or Trek get out of here. Last time was for relacing a rim and some other work, again was told that it was not possible for a myriad of reasons. Took my problems to Brant, and they said ..1 week sir, 150 for the rim, 180 for the rest. I will never use this location again. What a pretentious store. Brant Cycle or Downtown Bike Hounds is the place.

I recently bought a Cannondale from them and had a problem with it shortly after buying it. The guys at Neworld where great! they were quick to contact Cannondale and send it off, and they even supplied me with an even better bike while i waited for mine. They kept me informed as to what was happening and tried to help anyway they could. They are always quick to do service, just walk in and most time they will take your bike right a way and fix it if they can. Thanks guys! Great service!!

I wanted to get into mountain biking, And was looking for a good place to buy a bike. I found New World Cycle on the web and thought I would give it a try (very glad that I did). When I arrived they brought my bike out to me, and I was able to test ride it to get a better feel of it. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and was a great help. I am extremely satisfied with my new bike and highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a great quality bike.

The people who work at Trek Burlington are competent, very experienced and never fail to deliver the best experience they can give a customer. On my last visit to maintain my road bike they went out of their way to discover and repair a hidden issue with the bike which was causing early cable wear. The repair technician went as far as creating a special tool to fix the issue. Well done. They have added some extra chops to their wide knowledge of bike repair.

The folks at Neworld are really top notch. Jeff and his crew do an excellent job with their group rides and ensure that all can participate and enjoy them (from the beginner, right to the guys who want to ride fast and far!). The selection of bikes in their shop is fantastic and keeps me stopping in every now and again to see what's new in the cycling world. I really appreciate guys who work there like Darren, who is down to earth and is genuinely helpful.

Bike came into the store fairly quickly . They told me the bike would be ready for me when the open at 10 am but it wasn't . Had to wait for 1/2 hr for them to do the bike fit measurements when I sent them the day before. They told me they are under staffed and is difficult to provide customer service. The bike has been great so far and is better than my expectations. I recommended it to my friend and he bought the same bike as well from the same store

I purchased my Cannondale here a few weeks ago and can only say good things about this shop. They were patient and courteous with 30 mins left until closing. They were able to fit me appropriately and best of all had the best prices around. They are one of the few shops that still keep a full stock of road bikes to try and size up. Recommended fully from someone who purchased and visited most retailers in the GTA.

The staff was great as they allowed me to exchange a brand new Cervelo R2 that I bought a few months prior for a smaller sized one. Thankfully my 1st bike was never ridden, but just the same they took it back without any fees. The mechanic really knows his stuff which I appreciate. I know a good mechanic when I see one. Neworld comes across as being slightly arrogant, but they are about customer service!

I bought my first road bike from Jeff in 1988. I've since bought 11 more. The store is great and the staff are knowledgeable. Many of his staff have been there for years so that speaks volumes about quality and service. Jeff is a cyclist and seems to have great interest in getting people out on their bikes AND then following up to make sure that they are happy. 14/10 would shop there again.

Fantastic service! I had an issue with my frame after travelling with it. The boys looked after me got me a new frame, transferred all my groupo to the new bike, total rebuild and had my new bike on the road in UNDER 24 hrs! Very kind and helpful people! Very nice shop layout and display of bikes. Went in there just to peruse and consider the purchase of a track bike. The owner was very helpful and even took me downstairs into their stock room to allow me to browse bikes they hadn't put on display. Very pleased with the service I was given, and I may even come back to make a purchase!

I flatted on a ride then realised I had the wrong tube with me for repair. Walked my bike down to Trek and they helped me right away with the correct tube (and a spare!) and an install, along with a brake adjustment and some good advice for maintaining my chain. Friendly and approachable staff. Very happy with the customer service!

We are new to cycling and we were assisted by Darren at Trek who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! He walked us through all we needed to know and was very patient and thorough as we asked a million questions! The store has quality products in stock and they're available for customers to test and interact with before purchase. There is a great variety in stock which many other stores lack. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. All of these factors are what lead me to order my new bicycle and accessories through Trek Burlington.

Buy or Beware - I did not have a good experience at Neworld Cycle. I would recommend anyone considering going to this store to look elsewhere. Moreover, I would be very cautious of dealing with the owner who speaks like he has your best interest at heart but really just cares about greasing his pockets.

This is a great bike shop. I recently had to bring in a cracked frame for warranty replacement. I purchased at the now closed Hammer City Cycle, so this was my best option. Mark was extremely helpful and incredibly I had my bike back in 1 week. I will definitely be referring my friends to this shop.

Went in only because I as driving by. I believe the sales person was Darren. I got educated and got a great deal on a Cervélo. Absolutely no pressure to buy which made my experience even more enjoyable. Shop has a real clean and professional look, one the best in this area for sure.

Everything wrong with cycling culture. Don't support them. Your feeding the beast that gets us killed. Cyclist get killed by elitist culture. Safe cyclist get punished by them and hated by others. It's unfortunate that cycling shops play such a heavy role in cycling culture.

The team was awesome in helping my sister and I select our ideal bikes and helped mount everything we needed on to the bike so we could start riding as soon as the weather gets nicer. Great customer service and tips on safe riding. Highly recommend as we didn’t feel rushed.

I have to agree somewhat with the previous reviewer. I felt very "sized up" and apparently wasn't big enough to warrant a greeting by staff. The product is definitely high end, but don't expect a welcoming environment if you look young or of average income.

Brought my non-trek bike in for new front derailleur. They tried to straighten first to save me money, but it was not repairable. They were able to order the parts and completed under their cost estimate within 4 days. Superior service and customer service

Matthew was hands down funtastic. Great customer service and knowledge. Definitely makes you feel well taken care of and even helped me secured the bike in the truck with cardboard and bubble wrap. Also bike is fantastic and cant wait to take it out.

Great service and excellent care. I had a faulty derailleur which they tried to repair. After a couple rides it was clearly still problematic. They put a new derailleur on with no extra labour charge. Very pleased with the service.

Pretty solid people here. Repairs are very reasonably priced. I have been happy every time. Staff know what they are talking about and do not try to push repairs or products you do not need. I bring my road bike here consistently.
