Love this brunch place just outside the main shopping area of Cheltenham. I do not normally like having brunch due to the cost and the sometimes over oiliness of the dishes but this place is an exception. I felt that everything was perfectly priced and delicious without having that oily aftertaste. Loved the chicken and waffles (though it came out burnt the first time) they were super friendly to replace it. The maple syrup was not too sweet and balanced well with the saltiness of the chicken and bacon. A well balanced fulfilling dish. I also got an omelette dish which was smooth and buttery. The iced coffee was great as well. Overall will definately return. Returned! Excellent service again. Ordered via app this time which worked well. Ordered: Bob's Big Breaky ($23.00) - Came with potato rosti, chorizo and two eggs on sourdough toast with grilled tomato mushrooms and bacons. Exactly what you would expect from a great big breakfast. Everything cooked perfected however unlike my previous experience I felt that it was a tad bit oily. I think a bit of spinach would have cut through the oil. Buttermilk Fried Chicken Waffles ($19.00) - ordered this dish again. Came out exactly right the first time time. The chicken was juicy with a crispy exterior. The maple sauce pairing created a well balanced dish. Nutellachina ($4.80) - did not think that this would work but was actually pretty nice. Smooth coffee with a nutty chocolaty nutella aftertaste. Came with a small simple cookie on the side.

Dietary restrictions
Friendly service so I am sure they can cater!
Parking
Plenty of street parking but the road is slightly busy. I normally park close to the station and walk across the bridge.
Kid-friendliness
Nice relaxing environment people of all ages can enjoy!
Wheelchair accessibility
Can be seated outside but inside would be a tigheter squeeze.
The demon in me wanted to gatekeep this cafe, but they deserve another 5 star review. The food is exactly as good as it looks, possibly even better. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, and not in a fake forced way. I wasn't able to eat cheese, so I was just going to eat around it, but the lovely waitress was more than helpful when I was ordering; offering to substitute it with something I could eat. The food came out really quick every time we've been here. Even the music was great. I could not tell you a flaw about this cafe if I tried. Service, food, atmosphere is all 5 star. And the price! Amazing portion sizes and presentation for what is a lower than average cafe price. We struggle to finish our plates. I hope I haven't talked myself out of a table next time I visit. This is my favourite cafe in Melbourne hands down.

This was my second visit last week and once again, it was superb. The staff are so lovely and helpful. Always cheerful and clearly know the regulars by name. Although I ordered a takeaway coffee, the cup was filled to the brim and wiiped down as a little spilt. Then was given a napkin 'just in case' the staff said. Nice touch! Thank you. The place itself looks inviting and hope to actually have the time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere in the near future and have more than a coffee and cake because the menu looks extensive and caters for everyone, including those with dietaries. Oh and the coffee was excellent. Notes: wheelchair friendly, kid friendly, reasonable parking, takes credit cards. PS - next time I’ll snap some better pics
Lovely staff and very welcoming, accommodating service. I ordered the Give Me The Bird Burger and substituted the corn with waffle fries. Overall, I could see what they were trying to achieve, but they didn't reach it. The chicken was tender and fairly well seasoned, but the bun was too thick and the cheese didn't melt – I couldn't really taste it. I think they should change to an American cheese and use potato rolls. It also needed more chipotle aioli. The jalapeños were a nice touch though. The waffle fries needed rosemary salt or similar. High potential place with excellent service, but the menu needs refinement. I would still try again, perhaps ordering their speciality (breakfast fare) instead.
Understated on the outside, relaxed and edgy on the inside, TBS is a key part of the cafe culture in Cheltenham and definitely a favourite brunch spot for us. Highly recommend the pumpkin haloumi fritters, pulled lamb scrambled eggs and/or their version of eggs benny. Other highlights include delicious iced coffee range, free chilled sparking water on tap, and a cosy yet viby 'outdoor' strip down the back complete with palm tree, transparent roof cover and plenty of sunshine - even in winter. Looking forward to the next brekky date here soon!

I've been here 3 times now and have really liked it for the most part ☺️ Really good coffee - look how cute my last one was! Very extensive menu which to be honest, while great to have, could benefit from being a little smaller and focusing more on individual dishes being fantastic rather than trying to include a massive variety. But that's only my opinion and the food I've had has been quite good, aside from a cold poached egg on my first visit All in all a great place to visit for coffee or a meal with friends, accessible by public transport (right near Cheltenham station) and in my opinion, superior to the other cafes in the strip that I have tried so far.
What started off as a hole in the wall coffee bar is now a small little cafe serving great dishes at an affordable price. Coffee here is amazing and will keep you coming back for more. Of all the coffee bars in Melbourne I have been to. Two Bob is the only one serving 3aud coffee and there is absolutely no compromise on the quality of your cuppa. No latte art. No fancy pancy decor or hipster thingy. Just excellent coffee. @23.8.19 They've come a long way since I last came here. There's a new courtyard with amazing natural light for all your #gram moments. There's music on a Friday night and best of all, they open till late daily.
Had brunch here today. Vibes inside the cafe were great. We ordered the lamb souvlaki, the chicken burger, and kids waffles. Everything except the souvlaki was great — my opinion is that the olives made it a little too salty, otherwise, it wasnt too bad. The fries were cooked perfectly too! The baby chino cup is also huge for the little ones. The workers were super friendly — she even gave us an extra bowl of chips because she plugged our order in wrong. Definitely recommend

This is certainly not a review for all the team here as I’ve had better experiences on the weekend but based on my last few early morning coffees particularly the two staff early Monday morning. The two behind the counter were so hostile almost annoyed I’m saying good morning and paying for my coffee! Almost a tut and eye roll as I leave, not really sure why and can’t be bothered with that attitude so will get another coffee further down charman rd from now. Sorry two Bob :(

I went at 1pm with four others and no booking. We got a nice table out the back. The back outdoor area is really nice! We all ordered mains and the service was relatively quick and friendly. I had the Banoffee Waffles ($17.50) and a friend had the Fried Chicken Waffles ($19). Both were delicious and great value for money. I have been before and had the Buttermilk Pancakes ($17) which were also great. Overall I recommend this place for a good, outdoor local brunch spot!
Very cool little spot in a quiet area of Cheltenham. I really enjoyed the decor, it’s nice and modern and the booths don’t make it feel like you are sharing your conversation with the whole cafe. I only tried the coffee, but the espresso was very well made and came to my table fast. The staff were lovely and asked if I wanted another espresso quickly, which some places take some time to do. Will definitely return for another high quality coffee.
I have been coming here since it opened but my two recent experiences were so disappointing. Waited for service at a table outside for almost 40mins Staff service was terrible I’m so disappointed as it’s always been amazing The staff were slow, rude, uninterested, and consciously ignoring customers

I was disappointed with my Reuben sandwich, the menu stated that it would be jam packed with beef pastrami, but there was only a thin slice that was folded over. The sandwich was jam packed with sauerkraut as their main filler. Worst Reuben I have ever eaten Everyone else had a nice meal.

This place is genuinely amazing, food was high quality, extremely tasty. I ordered the fried chicken burger with halloumi chips, 10/10. Staff were very friendly and the wait time wasn’t very long for a very high quality brunch. Will definitely be coming back!

I’ve gone here for my morning coffees but never breakky and now I’m kicking myself that I hadn’t gone in sooner. Staff are sweet, provide fast service and make the whole experience that much better. The food though, sheesh. I’ll be coming back to try the whole menu thank you very much. 100/10. And the coffee never misses. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. ❤️
Situated close to Cheltenham train station, lovely cafe with a great vibe, staff (crew) very friendly and service was great. The coffee is the best around and if you like it that much you can take home your owns beans. We had a chilled bottle of sparkling water to accompany our coffees which was a lovely touch too. Highly recommend a visit.
The staff here are super nice and there was plenty of areas to sit in. The menu is pretty extensive and there was a number of options I really wanted to try. I had a coffee which was pretty good and tried the hot dog with the waffle fries which was very nice. A nice place to check out and I'll be back to try a few more things on the menu.
I've been coming here for years and it's always been great, until recently. Seems to be going downhill more and more each visit, and today was the last time I'll be going. The staff are rude, wait times are ridiculous and it's no longer a good cafe.

FANTASTIC big breakfast. And really lovely staff. The only thing I would change is how the mushrooms are cooked. Me and my partner both love mushrooms and couldn’t eat these. They taste just steamed with no flavour and it’s the only let down. Please change them!! And everything would be spot on.
The servers are wonderful - it's so nice to go to a cafe where they don't seem stressed and can laugh on shift. Food is good and reasonably priced.

Coffee. Three times in a week coffee were good, two times no, at all. Every visit I don't know, what level of coffee I'll get. So three stars. Now I won't drink coffee in your cafe
Amy and Mel are absolute champions, making delightful coffee and helping me on the journey of the fantastic menu offerings. Easily the best cafe south of the yarra
really good food, great service and lots of options on the menu! all the staff are really nice and will help you if needed. great place would recommend
Great lace for breakfast brunch with some original dishes and a few Mexican twists. Space is inviting with outdoor indoor options - worth a try
