This is the most horrible healthcare experience I’ve had in my life. The billing is a nightmare. The doctors office is completely separate from billing. I called to get a no-insurance appoint quote and was told $290 for a 15 minute appointment. I agreed, showed up and paid upfront. I asked for an itemized bill at the appointment, they said call billing tomorrow. I called, voicemail and no returned call. I tried several more times unsuccessfully. Finally I felt that it was over with. 5 weeks later I get a bill that they want another $97 with no explanation at all. I call, they tell me they can’t do anything so email. I email, it takes 3 days for each response. They tell me I just need to pay, never a reason given. I called the doctors office, always voicemail and they never return my call. The doctor was not very helpful even despite the insane fees and disorganized process. I was planning a $50k birth here, cancelling and moving to Kaiser. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, AVOID THIS SHADY BILLING HELLSCAPE NIGHTMARE!!! THEY BILL YOU AFTERWARDS ANY PRICE THEY FEEL LIKE!!

Very big campus. The cancer research and treatment facilities are very extensive. Big science research facility. Children and womens hospitals.. To get there take the Muni light rail or the 22 Fillmore. There is also extensive parking facilities on site.

Surgical staff were excellent, very positive experience.
