The people who work here are always REALLY nice to me, & the office has an interesting historic mural. It’s very convenient to enter and be served. The post office can be a real drag if there are apathetic or hostile employees or loud music etc, but this one seems to be really relaxing and I’ve only had a positive experience.
We live close by, walked there to send mail off ... closed at 5pm on Thursday for "technical difficulties". Message on the door looked like it is used on a regular basis. They just don't want to work. If they are open it is frequently a long line, and one, if I am lucky 2 desks are open, still a long line.
If I could I would give 0 Stars because 1 Star is still being too kind. The staff is absolutely slow. Standing in line of 7 people and no one at the window for 10mins now. There's is never a Manager available the multiple times that I've asked for one. This location is the worst.
Every time I’ve been here, postal workers have been helpful and friendly and saved me money. They’re doing what they can with COVID precautions (social distancing, masks, gloves) and I’m always in and out in a matter of minutes. Love the WPA-era mural, too!
Employees at this post office are always polite, professional, super helpful and efficient. I've never had an issue and they go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. In addition, the facilities artwork is amazing with it's mural of Chicago's history.
The service here is slow at best. Went in on a Saturday at 2:30pm to be told they were closing early because they only had 1 employee for the window services and she was tired. They are supposed to close at 3:00pm, they need to honor their listed hours.
It was very busy and you could tell had been a long day; but the worker at the window was still very nice while helping me when one of my packages had a zip code number wrong and then she also made sure I was paying the best rate with using
Rude unconcerned and a couple of hateful bigoted employees just there to collect a paycheck. Used this location for 35 years. Younger employees somewhat nicer, but older lady and rude tall older guy named Michael or he used name tag Miguel,
Nine people in line with one person working. I have never seen more than one window open and have never been in and out under 20 minutes. This location is terrible. Lots of people on back but I guess they can’t be bothered to help customers.
The convenient close location of this post office is mainly the only reason why I still visit. Yes it has free boxes, yes I can send packages and mail, and yes it offers everything that any other post office would have. The only problem is
This post office is an embarassment and dirty I would mention. Zero service too. I needed to speak to a supervisor for a missing package and the one person at customer service would just scream at the top of her lungs from the desk for the
Only post office in my neighborhood I will go. This location offers wide range of services: mail, mailboxes, shipping, supplies , stamps and there’s also a self serve station. Cool thing about this post office is the gigantic mural that you
Our local mail carrier were so bad and rude, we have decided to bring all our packages to the post office directly instead of chasing him around everyday - he refuse to scan prescheduled picked up items. Often lost packages we gave him and
Do not use this facility. I ordered premium mail forwarding at a very high cost and my mail was never delivered. I had to call over 8 times and dealt with unprofessional people like Ms Johnson who was very rude. Kena - manager was no help
I've been going to this post office for close to 20 years and there are several wonderful associates who have taken care of customers over the years. The woman who was working there today with the red braids was sadly, the worst associate
I shipped a large package (7 lbs) with them, had insurance and tracking, and handed it right to the person at the desk. It got scanned in then disappeared. It was supposed to arrive after two business days but after a week with no updates
I go to this location weekly and I have to say the staff are very friendly and helpful anytime I do go to the counter. Most of the time there are only one or two people in line. Sometimes the line gets long during the lunch or after work
BAD and SLOW ! Every time I come here I see a very long lines. The employees who work in this USPS office are very rude and SLOW. I went there to mail a package and buy some stamps. I was waiting in line for 48 minutes. It was 5:00 pm. It
I had a very pleasant experience with their customer service. I showed up 5 minutes before closing time, expecting grumpiness (as I've had a fair share of grumpy USPS clerks in the past). I thought I would have to buy tape and be told to
Worst customer service. I waited in line at the window for a half hour. There were 3 people working back there no one came to the window. It seems like the laziest people on earth work here. Always a line that never moves. Kiosk doesn’t
If giving zero stars was an option, I would have. Paid over $48 to overnight a package, and 3 days later tracking is showing that it is still just "received" at the post office. It takes at least three days to get a response as to where
How is this place an operating business? Pretty unreal. It’s a miracle if my packages show up when they’re marked as delivered, and then when you try to call them to see where your package is, they just can’t be bothered to help. Nice!
Walked in to a beautiful building. Selection of padded envelopes were cheap and pretty. Line took 2 minutes. JANET, at the register, was absolutely so sweet & funny. Thanks for making mailing a fun time in my day!
Usually there's a line, but that's life in the Third City (aka Second City). Clerks range from nice to indifferent to irritated, but that's life at the
The reviews of this place are spot on. Have failed to delivery very important mail (including a social security card) multiple times.
It is 4:15 Monday June 13, 2022 doors are closed nobody in sight yet they say there are open Monday to Friday 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
I'm tired of dealing with rude workers. I'm just going to use UPS from now on. I am completely ok with defunding the USPO.
I love this post office! Bernice is so sweet and helpful. She really went above and beyond to help me with a package.
I have had to use this post office roughly 5 times and each time my visit were smooth, fast, and friendly!
I had a really positive experience. The employee that took care of me was very kind and quick. Thanks!
