I went to this location last Friday to mail a letter. It was about 10:00, in the morning. Another customer was there, with a puzzling and strange look on her face. She asked if the Post Office was closed, I said surely not. I put a letter in the stamped mail slot, before realizing it was closed. No cars were there, when we checked the back parking lot. Again, I went by the Post Office today, to mail a letter inside. It was about 10:00, and there were no employee cars in the parking lot. This time I mailed my letter, at a Post Office where I saw employees working. There used to be 2 outside boxes, for a person to drop their mail in. One day I noticed one box was beat up, like it had a fight, with a hammer. The next time, it looked like someone poured acid on it, or set it on fire. This is criminal and sad. I hope they find the dirtbags and scumbags, that are obviously trying to steal someone else's checks!!! Get a job or several jobs, you lazy, shiftless bums!!!
I often go here and my experience there is great especially when Don is working the counter. He is quick and very attentive of others in line. Today, however was a different story (1/18/16 noon). I was the only one in line behind another who was being assisted by a lady with glasses and dark brown hair. They carried on a personal conversation on & off about eye surgery and other pointless personal matters. A couple minutes of this, no problem BUT when it goes beyond 12-15 minutes and I was avidly watching her stop her work to continue in this discussion I almost lost my mind. It was outright disrespect of other peoples' time in line! I made some slight sighs but no attention was paid. Luckily Don finished his work in the background and opened another register and took care of me. If I had the lady it wouldn't of been a good experience for both of us. One star for her.
I haven't received my grocery ads in 2 or 3 weeks so I asked the carrier if he had ads in his vehicle and he said no, who knows where they are this route doesn't have a regular carrier. Which I know because is at least 3 different people every week. So yesterday I got mine and 3 other people's. I tried to call and speak to the carrier supervisor so he could let them know only 1 set of ads per house. Well that phone just rings and rings that post office is not so busy that whoever's is in back, should be a supervisor, can't answer the phone. That is pure laziness. I know someone pays to have those delivered. Rant over.
*** UPDATE: I have mysteriously received both of my packages today. However, I am leaving my review at a 3 due to the experience I had.*** I had a few packages that showed they were held "per customer request" at this post office. I left work a bit early to get there before they closed and as soon as I walked up, I saw the sign (see photo). Luckily, I only drove 10 minutes or so to get to this office but there HAS to be a better way of displaying this information so we don't waste our time or gas. I did not have any interaction with an employee which is why I provided 3 stars.
Well I have been trying to call them at their listed number now for some time.. and the phone will just ring and ring before switching over to a busy signal.. wth!!!??? I KNOW there are people there it is currently 2:48 pm!! There is no excuse for this! Where is the customer service?? I have noticed since most everyone has switched over to email, and automated phone services customer service with REAL people has dwindled to nothing at all. This is outrageous!!!
The delivery people blatantly ignore the sign on my door that asks that packages not be left there as my apartment neighbours steal them. They keep leaving packages instead of giving them to the open leasing office or having me pick up at the PO. And guess what? They're getting stolen. The "supervisor" Michael Birdsong gave me a fax number to call and now I can't reach anyone. Terrible customer service and hard-headed, illiterate, shut-up-and-colour employees.
This place has no phone number. You set up a USPS. That scan the mail in and the mail still cant seem to make it to the place it should in a timely manner. Then go in to hear the BLAME Game . 1 weeks later still no mail but when you stop the carrier he goes looks on truck and mail there but seem to miss them truley scan your item I guess Trust postal service after seeing it on truck and wasn't scan in POBox might be the best bet.... Recount?
Package was was ordered 2 weeks ago was to be delivered 12/14 Regular mail came with an ebay purchase. I was home all day, and no package of 6 vap juices. I got a notice that the mail carrier tried to deliver it. Marked the package as a unsafe location. 2 50 yeat adults and 3 children were home all day. I understand that packages can be forgotten, but donr lie about it. Own the mistake. Its only compounded with a lie
I don’t know who they have in their scan in packages but they need to be fired because I don’t know how many times I have drop my packages off and they have not been scanned in. I work for Tiktok shop I have three days to scan them and if they don’t scan them in with three days, I get penalized I should be getting penalized because they’re too lazy to scan them in.
Update dropped of seven packages none again scanned. This is effecting anyone with a shop. Wish I could give less than one star. Multiple times closed around 3:30 no sign nothing explaining or give an open time. Terrible at scanning packages with TikTok shop You have to have those scanned in within 2 to 3 days. Dropped off 8 packages today. No one scanned.
Every time I try to call about something about the mail all I get is a machine giving me the darn run around.....all postal places have the same number....come on what happened to the old days that a person picks up the phone and talks to a real person and not a machine that gives you the run around..... …
Was looking for my package and this post office is closer to my house so I came and she told me to go to the one on Barry RD so I was like okay my mistake. NO her mistake I drove all the way over there for the guy to tell me my house mail comes from the one in NKC. Bad customer service (vivion rd USPS)
Rude, slow, and generally terrible staff. My community (owned by USPS) mail box rusted in half also, and the staff doesn't know what to do. Added, they don't return phone calls. Most notably, they mark packages as "delivered" when they are being held at the post office. WHAT A JOKE. Avoid 10/10
Dropped off 2 packages using the lobby drop off and made sure each one went through (no pkgs left in thingy). The packages had company prepaid postage labels on them and neither one reached their destinations. If you drop off anything here, always go inside and get a receipt.
Came here on a Thursday at 4 Pm and the clerk was super efficient and very pleasant. This location is out of my way but now I may come here because he was so nice and fast! Probably the best clerk up north. I didn’t catch his name but his clerk number was 08 on my receipt.
Stop here is super friendly and helpful. The postal service is perhaps one of the oldest and most consistent services that has ever existed in the United States. They need more funding, and a raise. Please be sure to wear a mask, and thank these heroes for working for us.
Terrific, unbelievably helpful staff. Truthfully, I've never seen anything like it. Sadly, the USPS higher ups clearly underestimate how busy a spot this is, and as a result, it's frequently understaffed. FYI: 5 star workers 3 star USPS leadership = 4 star review
I will say that from the experiences that I have had, the staff is ALWAYS friendly at this location. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I often go and there will be a line nearly out the door with only one employee helping customers.
Must be nice to be able to completely shut down for lunch until 2:00pm but it's wildly inconvenient for anyone trying to visit the post office. Are they really that short staffed that they have to completely close to the public for lunch? Really?
Service is good, however they occasionally are closed without notice. Also their PO Boxes are over priced because of their proximity to some higher income housing even though the community they serve on whole is not in that income range.
Whoever runs our mail needs to either quit or stop shoving our mail in the box. We’ve had to replace it once already because she ripped it off the post, which is as frustrating as it was impressive, but honestly get it together.
Just wasted $4.90 at their kiosk. It didn't print my stamps. At Christmas time, which is probably their biggest profit season, you'd think they'd ensure that their equipment is functioning properly. UPSET!

It’s a Saturday and their hours are from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. It’s current 8:45 and there is NOBODY HERE!!! What is wrong with this location. horrible hours and people who don’t show up to work smh.
They were supposed to open at 8:30 AM this morning. I got there at 8:20 am, stood there waiting for them to open, finally gave up at 9:00 AM. No one is even there to open up! Lousy post office!!!!
9:29 am on 01/14/2016 phone has been ringing for 3 minutes now. This is ridiculous. My package states it was delivered and put in my mailbox.......there isn't any package in my mailbox.
After 2 calls with the supervisor spanning over 2 months, I am still receiving the prior residents ‘mail despite being ensured each time that it would stop 7-10 business days later.
I've been here a few times and always found the staff friendly, polite and super-efficient and effective. They are a credit to themselves, and to the United States Postal Service.
Great service (even if you have to wait for slow patrons in front of you). Last time they ran out of labels for the self-service machine (but they were quickly re-stocked).
This post office is closed during business hours a lot with no signs up or anything. It’s been too many days I have came here and it was supposed to be open but was closed.
Arrived at 1220 and they are at lunch but sign says on door that lunch is 1 pm to 2 pm. Dont bother with this location. They can't even tell what time it is.
30 minutes past OPEN time and no one is working in the office. I have things to do, and wait around for people to do their job isn't one of those things.

Recent had our mail stopped, did not authorize this but it happened/don't pay for 2 day priority they'll get it there in 6 if your lucky

I have never been in the sotre and had to wait for more than three or four minutes. Not the friendliest but a quick in and out.
