"I'm giving this particular location 1-star, and frankly a negative star is what it deserves"
"Worst customer service ever!!! I don’t ever write reviews but the Asian lady that seemed to be the only one working there at the time was so beyond rude and absolutely not helpful"
"Despite being a USPS, they will not return to sender"
"Sent an employee to this branch, he brought a package that was all ready to go; shipping already paid for and attached to the package"
"I'm surprised I'm going to say this but this is my favorite USPS location"
I'm giving this particular location 1-star, and frankly a negative star is what it deserves. I had a return label that I preprinted for a very small box that I had taped up, secured read-to-go ... but the label was much larger than the box so I didn't tape it on and decided to goto the post office to get their input on how best to adhere it - of course thinking they'd whip out their tape gun and affix it to my package. After waiting in line (1 clerk serving) I had just heard the clerk tell a customer in front of me they couldn't scan their preprinted bar code from their phone and print out the USPS Label for their package. I stepped up stated I had my sealed parcel and had printed a label but it's very large and hoped he'd adhere it properly so it wouldn't be a problem for the USPS. I was told they don't have tape to affix a label. But he pointed to a retail rack behind where they sell spools of shipping tape. Needless to say I'm flabbergasted. I wasn't asking for him to tape up and secure my parcel. I just wanted to him to affix a prepaid USPS SHIPPING LABEL. I understand the USPS looking for ways to be more efficient, more profitable, etc... But AITA for expecting the USPS to assist with taping a shipping label to the package!?
Worst customer service ever!!! I don’t ever write reviews but the Asian lady that seemed to be the only one working there at the time was so beyond rude and absolutely not helpful. The post office I normally go to is very helpful and prints out return labels and tapes up packages for me. I’ve never had to do it on my own before so I wasn’t familiar with what to do exactly and this lady treated me like I was dumb and was super disrespectful. All she said was that I needed to prepare the package myself, and when I asked what she meant, she said “I don’t know! Whatever the company wants you to do”! Excuse me but that is not how you talk to people. She mocked me and said “you’ve never done this before” in a very rude tone. Then she proceeded to argue with me when I told her she was being super rude. She was rude to another customer while I was in there as well.
Despite being a USPS, they will not return to sender. Even after contacting support and having them confirm I am able to return to sender at this location, you will be denied. How do I return a package then? I can’t just leave a box on my mailbox (with the obvious threat of theft). Yes I could schedule a pickup, but is that necessary when it’s a post office? The point is to send and return packages. After speaking with the employees, blame has been put on management. I quote “he won’t let us accept them”. UPS and USPS are great services and the point of this review is to get the “policy” back to normal, not to cause problems. It is unacceptable for a post office to refuse a return to sender of unopened packages or mail.
Sent an employee to this branch, he brought a package that was all ready to go; shipping already paid for and attached to the package. It was headed to Japan via priority mail. They didn't need to do a thing; just take it in. It was about 5:00pm (they're open till 5:30). They refused the package and said "Oh, we don't accept international shipments during the last 20 minutes of being open." I've done this countless times myself, I know this is absurd. They are lucky it wasn't ME who was dropping it off. Complete bullsh*t, they were just lazy and didn't feel like processing an international package. Your government tax dollars hard at work!!!
I'm surprised I'm going to say this but this is my favorite USPS location. I have never had an issue with their customer service, even when I'm having an issue. They are always really nice, helpful, and no attitude, I do go during the weekday and off hours since I don't want to deal with crowds so I'm not sure if that changes anything. Luckily I live close and will be sad when I move, I have been to other locations while running errands and this is by far the best. This includes the ones I visited when I lived in GA.
Came in on monday to drop off a package and they put down the wrong address and sent it right back to me on tuesday. Had to come in on Wednesday again , to drop it off for the second time since It was not done right the first time. No apology or sign that they even care. Could have at least offered a partial reimbursement for having to come back a second time.
The staff is completely ignorant in any cases, which are even slightly different from the ordinary ones. I've just try to proceed with my in-face verification process for informed delivery service, but the staff rejected to read the official (!) USCIS claim of temporary I-551 stamp in visa. Let's see, what manager in Lake City can do
Small post office is very handy once one figures out it exists! I was pleasantly surprised when I went there to get some stamps and it had no line, I guess being small has sone advantages! I picked up some flatware boxes too which was nice as I'd been waiting for some to arrive that I'd ordered online.
Omg. What the hell. This is where souls go to wait for hell. One person working. Six in line. He is reading every single line of the agreements with everyone. EVERY LINE. My favorite is they refuse to accept my FOREVER STAMPS because they’re too old. What the hell does “forever” mean then
Asian male postal worker has got to be the rudest least helpful postal worker I’ve ever encountered. I actually like going to the post office. I actually worry about their jobs going away. I actually use US postal services but if this was my regular post office — I’d send via another way.
Layout is bad. The line interferes with the rest of the post office and drop off. I recommend doing prepaid, the staff sometimes charges package prices for your letters, I'm sure they mean well, they probably deal with a lot of unhappy people.
Wouldn’t recommend doing anything beyond dropping off a prepaid package here. The staff were very unpleasant. I get it, working with the public is not fun and they’re probably understaffed, but wow are they rude to customers.
Would give zero stars if I could. Hires aggressive and untrustworthy people to deliver our mail and enter our buildings. Unresponsive to multiple reported issues. Won't be wasting my money here ever again.
Eddie and Eleazar were great!! Eddie walked me through how to do my first money order and Eleazar was super nice even though I was there past 5:30. Thank you both so much!!
Best not to go at noon or immediately after work. The lines do get quite long. But they were always kind to me, and I had lots of complicated interactions with them.
Great service except for one rude attendant! The short lady with black hair from overseas is super rude and awful. The tall lady with blondish hair is super helpful.
They need to shut down these terrible services. Let the other delivery services take over seeing as you guys can't handle delivering simple packages.
The lady that works there is the rudest person I’ve ever met. It ruins my mood everytime i visit. It’s horrible
Refused to tape up a priority mail flat-rate box. Never had a post office flat out refuse basic service before!
They not have check self machine . Some days I have to wait much, space is very small and service very slow.
The staff here are kind and patient. They help me ship all of the packages for my small business. Thank you!
line out the door, one register open, attendant in no hurry. Think ill stick with fed ex.
Friendly, competent staff; clean, organized interior; ample parking; reasonable lines.
It says open on Saturdays 9-3, i got there at 10 and the sign says closed on Saturdays
What good is having a phone number at a place where nobody EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!!?
I have visited many time but there is only one employee is for services.
Truly the worst post office ever. The service here is abysmal. Abysmal.
Occasionally slow but workers have always been pretty helpful and nice
Always friendly, fast and helpful, always in a good mood - thank you.
