I'm delighted to provide a 5-star review for the University of Chicago, an institution that has left an indelible mark on my academic journey. From the moment I set foot on campus, I was struck by the university's commitment to intellectual rigor, academic excellence, and a vibrant campus community. First and foremost, the faculty at the University of Chicago are nothing short of exceptional. Their dedication to teaching, research, and fostering critical thinking is evident in every lecture, seminar, and office hour. The professors here not only possess a deep well of knowledge but also have a genuine passion for their subjects, making learning an engaging and enriching experience. The curriculum is both challenging and thought-provoking, designed to cultivate analytical and problem-solving skills that are invaluable in any career path. The Core Curriculum, in particular, is a hallmark of the university's commitment to a well-rounded education. It encourages students to explore diverse fields of study, fostering a holistic understanding of the world. The campus itself is a haven for intellectual discourse and cultural exploration. The Gothic architecture, with its stunning spires and ivy-covered walls, creates an inspiring atmosphere. The libraries, including the renowned Regenstein Library, are a treasure trove of resources for any research endeavor. What truly sets the University of Chicago apart is its emphasis on free expression and intellectual inquiry. The "Chicago Principles" are a testament to the university's unwavering commitment to academic freedom and open dialogue. It's a place where students are encouraged to question, challenge, and debate, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds. Beyond academics, the university offers a plethora of extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations. Whether your interests lie in student government, the arts, sports, or community service, there's a niche for everyone to explore and make lasting connections. In my time at the University of Chicago, I've had the privilege of forging lifelong friendships and connections with fellow students from around the world. The diversity of perspectives on campus enriches the educational experience and broadens horizons. Lastly, the university's commitment to financial aid and scholarships ensures that talented students from all walks of life have access to this exceptional education. This inclusivity is a testament to the university's dedication to diversity and equity. In conclusion, the University of Chicago has not only provided me with an outstanding education but has also fostered a deep love for learning, critical thinking, and a sense of intellectual curiosity that will serve me well throughout my life. It's a place where academic excellence thrives, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a transformative and intellectually stimulating college experience.

You can't beat the U of Chicago campus on a sunny spring day. Visiting Chicago for a few days and stopped by to tour the ISAC museum on campus (look it up!), but was equally impressed with beautiful surroundings.️ The University drowns in lush ivy covering the walls of historic halls and churches. Professors wearing tweed jackets and summer hats stroll to deliver their lectures. Students walk briskly among the buildings, hurrying to and from class, or to catch a bite at one of several cafes and cafeterias. Near the Booth School, I overheard chatter about economic and probability theories. Check out the Pret'A'Manger cafe hidden in one of the beautiful campus halls for a quick grab and go, or a sit down lunch. Enjoy the academic atmosphere and the melodies of the church bells at noon time. Will be back! If you found this revuew helpful, please like!

One of the most beautiful college campuses in the US--arguably the most beautiful in my opinion. Part of its beauty is due to its location along a linear park (the "Midway Plaisance") dating back to the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. But it also has a fabulous architectural assemblage including classic collegiate gothic as well as many more contemporary buildings. Their landscaping budget must be enormous--beautiful, well-maintained plantings everywhere. Make sure to see the Law School, the Rockefeller Chapel and the Robie House (Frank Lloyd Wright house next to the Booth Business school). Well worth a visit even if you don't have a child looking at colleges.

Studying there was enlightening, the professors were kind and provided great insights, the classes were never boring, and the campus itself is simply magnificent. The only issue is that the area around the campus is not very safe, although the university is doing its best to safeguard the whole district with a private police force. Yet, muggings are unfortunately not uncommon. Make sure to not to travel alone!

I'm a former international student. As expected, everything is complete. It's a little old, but there's no inconvenience. The class is quite difficult, so please do your best. I feel like it's natural to be able to speak English. I struggled with the content rather than English.

Love this place. I grew up in the area. Best hospital in this surrounding area. I had my high-school graduation at the church next to it (Rockefeller Chapel).
