has a large undercover area where you can wait for your train and top up your myki, it is 2 tracks for basically 1 platform which is much more practical that train stations like Ferntree Gully or Balaclava. there are no tactiles on the edge of the platforms and there is no public toilet which would make this better for the general public. also has many benches for you to sit on however there aren’t any in the undercover area

I am an avid train user. I eat, sleep and breathe public transport. Upwey station is my favourite. Good undercover area. Very well maintained. Also very pretty and nice to be at. Pretty litty as the youths say. If I could live at this station, I would. However, my mother won’t let me be homeless. Very practical station. Good job public transport Victoria!!!

Beautiful Upwey. Has plenty of shops on the Main Street. Can become busy at times though parking isn't too bad.

Needs overhead infrared heaters for the cold mornings. Also timetable displayed is 2years old.

Classical train station. No ticket booth though, no parking and no bike lockers.
