I visited the ER waiting area around 7 pm on Thursday 5/13/21. I waited my turn to accompany my mom in the ER. I was not allowed to explain what was happening to my 86 yo mom with dementia, severe anxiety, and language difficulty. The security officer asked me to sit in the waiting room right next to somebody that was vomiting. I asked to wait outside and then he came a couple of times and told me that I was creating traffic because I stepped in as the door opened up. A young woman in bright red scrubs, one of the ER staff, came to supposedly talk to me. Regardless of how much I tried to explain my mom's need for me to explain to her, she would not hear me out and even said that I was raising my voice. I was standing at one side of the line at the entrance, and there was nobody else in line. She insisted that I go to the other side of the line. In a hurry and a very distraught state of mind I attempted to move to the other side of the line but when I passed under the elastic separator, she claimed that I hit her with the elastic separator!!! Without any compassion or understanding, she went to the security officer and told her not to let me in. Instead of taking care of their patient, they were blocking family/patient advocates from helping. This young woman lacked empathy, humanity, caring, and professionalism. She may have looked professional on the outside, but indeed was extremely vindictive and uncaring. Instead of helping a patient and family in crisis, she got the security to rudely tell me to get out of there and NEVER COME BACK!!! Nobody even explained what was wrong with my mother or what they did, which I think absolutely nothing was done for my poor mom. Their staff need to be trained in customer service and they need to hire people who are actually caring and decent. Anybody could go to school but not everybody is suitable for patient care. I called the emergency department and explained what was happening... at least the other staff who answered the phone was allowing me to talk and was sympathetic and professional. At the end, I was NOT allowed to explain to my elderly mother with dementia what was happening to her; needless to say that I would NEVER go back to that hospital and feel sorry for those who are at their Mercy.
The worst Experience I’ve ever had. And I have 4 kids!! I Walk down stairs and fatima Gonzalez try to kick me out that is the security who work here. I was trying to do was go to the cafeteria to get my wife some pancakes , why I am staying here with my newborn daughter. I’m doing everything the nurses told me in the recovery room! and that’s not just it yesterday, when we had the C-section, I felt like I missed it due to it only took four minutes for the baby to come out when they told me it would take an average of 45 minutes. I feel like I’ve missed out the birth due to this hospital. Something that I will never get back. the employees are disrespectful and not helpful. And hardly speak English when this is an English speaking country. It’s like when they called us to talk to us about the The baby program on the phone they were just speaking Spanish. I don’t understand Spanish. but some of the nurses are awesome like Emily! the only one I found that I truly like so far here. I would never tell anyone to come to this hospital for anything even. The manager windy today has started trying to help but somethings you can never get back like being in the room during the C-section they only happens once in a lifetime and that was one thing I truly wanted to do and my wife really wanted me to be on her side because of her first kid she didn’t have the father there like she did with this one but due to the doctor she had the same experience as the first one! When I first walked in and seen my wife sitting and she was crying because she wanted me in that is really bad.
VALLEY PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL opened in 1958 with 63 beds. Today the complex has grown into a 350 beds medical center. The public areas are inviting and beautifully maintained. Security is tight. Just like at the airport, expect to spend 15 minutes or so. You are required to provide a reason for your visit, empty your pockets, have your purse inspected, and be magnetically scanned. You then visit a concierge desk, a few steps away, and provide identification. If there is a line there is a delay. A sticker is printed showing the location you are visiting, to be applied to your clothing. My wife and I visited a friend. Her single patient room is modern with a large, attached bathroom and shower. The room included: patient care items, a chart indicating the patient's name, the on duty nursing staff, her hospitalist, TV, comfortable guest chairs, telephone, and a view of the San Fernando Valley. The staff who entered her room, while we were there, were efficient and showed courtesy. There is a well stocked gift shop and cafeteria. Free or flat rate (8.00) valet parking. Of course everything is wheelchair accessible.
I gave birth at this Hospital. Upon arrival I requested my Doctor. Staff said it's her day off and introduced me to their resident Dr. I REFUSED and insisted upon my Dr. The stress STALLED my dilation and labor until my Dr. arrived. After many hours I asked for an epidural. The young male Dr. anesthesiologist who administered it was the Best! The young female nurses who assisted my Dr. in my labor were also Amazing! HOWEVER, once I was transferred to the recovery ward with my baby, I encountered Unprofessional and crude nurses. I was weak and recovering from 40 hour labor. A nurse who was suppose to help teach me how to change a diaper, carelessly placed a new diaper upon my newborn, without cleaning his fecal soaked skin. There was a FLICKERING MONITOR in my room which was left on 24/7. The nurses walked in and out of my room at all hours of the night, filling out their daily reports on this flickering computer while I tried to sleep. REALLY? You can't fill out your reports at the nursing station and let the new Mothers and babies sleep in peace? Reprehensible behavior.
Rudest nurses I have ever seen. No respect towards patient's family feelings. Nurses putting an IV in with no gloves. After caring for a patient for over 4 days, they still didn't know what the patient's baseline is. They didn't care to read the chart or to asl the previous shift. But if they would the previoshift would not know either. They treated my mom as non-verbal, while she can perfectly speak and respond in Russian. Nurse told me to just accept the situation and leave my life. She was clueless that my mom is not speaking due to infection and not due to her previous history of stroke. No one wants to talk to the family members to give any updates, when asked to give an update, they do everything to get rid of you, amd actually walk away as they are responding. No consideration. Every patient is a transaction for them. I had never ever in my life had seen anything like this. This whole hospital had to be shut down, for the exception of few doctors, and one nurse. Beyond compression. Avoid this hospital by any means.
I brought my sister to the emergency center because she had gotten bit by a spider. She couldn’t walk and her foot was swollen with blood coming out, I asked a red head nurse, she had a messy bun, if she can bring me a wheelchair to help my sister all she said was “wheelchairs are inside” and continued being on her phone. That was the rudest encounter I’ve ever had here, normally when I come here, everyone is so kind and welcoming and HELPFUL. I didn’t get her name she was just sooo rude! I just wanted a wheel chair so I wouldn’t let her arm go because if I did then she would apply a lot of pressure on her foot. The nerve she had, I would’ve understood if she said “I’m on my break but let me get somebody to help you” but she said “wheelchairs are inside” and walked away while looking down at her phone. She didn’t even have the nerve to look up at us. Whoever is running this hospital NEEDS to establish good manners at least. When someone is in need of help, just help!!! It’s your job it’s what you’re getting paid to do!
I have literally nothing else to say in this review except that the staff is so effin' nice. There are signs everywhere to help you navigate, but even so the majority of staff is available to help you find your way--in most cases I was escorted or escort was offered without me needing to ask. I witnessed staff who only needed to interact with other patients for mere moments engage with genuine kindness on a level that it was like witnessing friends interact. Like there wasn't a signal abrasive or even dull staff member in my presence during the handful of hours I was there, and that mitigated any anxiety I would have otherwise experienced. Of course I can't speak on what employment's like there since I'm not an employee, but no one seemed overly stressed and it seemed that, for the most part, the staff has the space to give relaxed, genuine care. And that's something that's becoming more and more rare in my experience.
I would not recommend to take your loved one especially older loved one to this hospital . ER is pathetic they do not priory ER walking based on the health condition . Team coordination is pathetic . Please make effort and take second opinion about health conditions and decision you make for your loved one especially for any surgery procedure . I had a very bad experience with my MIL condition and also after surgery. They recommend surgery even knowing her lungs history. After her decease the hospital goof up on her paper work completion and we had to run between departments and county office to understand we really have wait a long time in fact days …Please think twice and research not only about the hospital but the their doctors reviews and second opinion. Understand medical terminology and process twice instead trusting them completely and make best decision for your loved one .
In 2017 mom and dad were treated here for various conditions. I can't tell you how welcoming this hospital feels from the time you come in. Doctors, Nurses, Nurses Assistant are on top of everything, caring for you, making you feel comfortable, safe, and watching over you 24 hours a day! Mom was here for two weeks, and her treatment by the staff exceeded our expectations, they treated her like a queen. I am very grateful with this hospital for their excellent hospitality. In addition to the excellence, their nutritious meals are rather better than other hospitals. Many hospitals are known to have horrible food, but this one is very good in their meals. Their cafeteria has a little bit of everything. Their cheese burgers and fries are delicious...I used to love having a burger during my stay. Cafeteria staf are friendly. They also have microwave, and all utensils needed available.
Emergency room wait time was over 8 hours. You're just a number to be let in even if you are physically in excruciating pain and violently vomiting in the waiting area. After you are admitted the nurses don't pay any attention to you other than to give the bare minimum with the fewest words spoken as possible. Doctors do not make time to talk to you and explain, they just say a few words and discharge without much explanation or time for questions with them. A chat with someone who works there confessed that they would not take their family members there (and they work there!). There are a couple of good people but for the most part, they don't appear to like what the do and it shows in how they treat you. Please do yourself (or your loved ones) a favor and go to a different hospital if you need to go to the ER. There is nothing urgent nor caring about their services.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! BE READY TO WAIT OVER 5 hours. I took my daughter to get her hand checked out after a fall at soccer practice, we checked in at 2:45pm, got called almost right after to get her vitals checked and was told to wait to be called again. We waited until 7pm and NOBODY called or anything. My daughter was in pain, hungry and tired we could not wait any longer. I left to Mission Community Hospital and was in and out in LESS than 2 hours!! I understand the whole world is under staffed , with the pandemic but that is just absurd! I spoke to a few other patients waiting to be seen, some even there since the morning!! This hospital is just not great at all!! TERRIBLE SERVICE & LACK OF COMPASSION TOWARDS THE PATIENTS. THE FRONT DESK LADIES ARE RUDE and will give you attitudes if you ask any questions. Save yourself the hassle , and go elsewhere!!
I don’t recommend this hospital. I been admitted since Friday . They where supposed to do a procedure to remove kidney stone. The hospital keep doing cancellations to my procedure because supposedly they don’t have the equipment. What a poor hospital. The doctor is available to do the procedure so is not the doctor fall. Is the hospital huges neglect because they don’t want to rent the equipment. Today is Tuesday 10/4/22 waiting for procedure. I been 5 days waiting for a procedure. I repeat is not the doctor is the owner of the hospital that doesn’t want to invert money for the equipment. Valley’s presbyterian doesn’t care for patients care. Also nurse take so long to come to patients room when you call them. Also cafeteria is bad service they forget to bring your food or they don’t even bother to ask what for the menu. They bring whatever they want
I went to the emergency room for a gallbladder attack and had to wait almost 4 hours to be seen. I was finally admitted to the hospital and they kept me there (mostly without being able to eat because of the tests they wanted to run) for 3 days. They did a ton of imaging and blood tests but didn't actually do anything about my gallbladder and eventually discharged me with instructions to follow up with my GP in a week. I looked for a second opinion and found a surgeon to remove my gallbladder, but they should have done that at Valley Presbyterian while I was there because they saw the gallstones on all the images. It took me an extra 2 weeks to get it taken care of - Valley Presbyterian was pretty incompetent and didn't actually help me. I definitely would drive to a different hospital in the future (even though Valley Presbyterian is the closest).
Way to overpriced. Spend a few minutes in here and you'll regret it. The bill itself is more than enough reason to get you head hurting after being "treated" oh your fine just get some rest and advil. When in reality they didn't want to do any real work to find whats wrong with patients. Here its not about the quality of care for every individual. Its about how much dollar signs each person walking in and being able to process them for payment. That being said, I had a terrible experience with the rude people at the parking office who would refuse to give me a pass for my stay for x amount of reasons. If I'm paying to park my car I should be able to pay for the service. Or is my money no good ? Honestly why deal with all this and instead travel a bit further to a more reputable and better rated hospital.
The nicest staff ever in the history of an emergency room. I'd say I got lucky but from the moment I walked in, everyone was so caring and nice that it must just be a general practice here. There was no wait to be seen, maybe 20 minutes (this was probably luck). The front desk girl, the girl who checked my vitals, the RN (Bear) and (Alex), the doctor (Alex) and the ultrasound technician (Mary) were the nicest people. Bear consistently checked in on me throughout my visit to update me on the status of when my ultrasound and blood work results would be ready. Bear brought me water and a warm blanket fresh from the dryer. Seriously came in at least every 15 minutes or so to see of I was okay. Can't recommend this ER enough. Been to few ERs in the valley and I've gotta say, this was a first.
Although I had my daughter in this hospital and grateful everything went well, I must say the service and staff need way more training in the labor/ delivery dept. nurses can not give a direct answer for the death of me . They missed my wife’s vein and filled her whole arm with IV. It swoll up like a balloon. When I asked is that normal or does it need to be moved elsewhere, I was told ‘ I mean if you want I can have it moved to the other arm’. It’s not about what I want it’s about what is medically necessary. They ran back and forth until the fourth nurse came in a finally was able to put in the IV properly. Small requests go unrecognized like a blanket since our room was set to 65 degrees the whole time. Things we were told in the tour were nothing like the experience we had.
My dad has been serviced at this hospital for various procedures and doctors as well as nurses having been nothing but fantastic. He had a biopsy by Dr Gnana Desigan who found his cancer, very grateful to this dr for going above and beyond just blood tests and actually looking for the source of my fathers symptoms. When my dad had his hemicolectomy Dr. Rudolph was compassionate and patient with explaining the procedure. Very communicative throughout the procedure as well. My dad was also admitted at the beginning of covid because he had developed pneumonia. Nurses were beyond wonderful to let my dad borrow the phone to call me and he was always being well taken care of.
The front receptionist Victoria was so rude! And uncaring! I came in bleeding from my finger and In shock I accidentally cut the line. She gave me attitude and told me to wait behind the line without even checking if I was okay. She was very rude to someone who didn’t speak Spanish either, I helped her translate and all she did was stare me down. If you’re going to be a front receptionist be better! You’re in an ER were people are going to come in needing help ASAP or in shock etc… Overall the wait for my finger was almost 5 hours and the nurse who took care of me was nice but the waiting was horrible.I’m only giving two stars because the people inside were very caring.
Unfortunately I had to go to this hospital. I went in and they did an ultrasound and the nurse told me I was having a miscarriage. She didn’t bother giving an explanation as to why this happens it was a very matter of fact kind of thing. What got to me is that she was gossiping outside of my room with another nurse about their love life while I was alone, in pain and with my heart broken in that room. I don’t expect excellent service but a little sympathy would have made all the difference. I’m happy that I will be joining Kaiser this upcoming year. I do want to thank all the healthcare workers who actually love what they do and make a difference.
THIS HOSPITAL IS A JOKE THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND DIRTY. MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 2 DAYS NOW AND THR DR. ORDERED A MRI TEST TO BE DONE AND THEY CAME IN TOTHE ROOM AROUND 3:30PM THE DAY BEFORE AND THE DR TO ME WHEN THE results are in the system he would go over them with me. Now its 12:40pm the next dand they still don't have nothing is in the system and the dr and nurse said that they are not sure why there is no update. NOW ITS GOING ON 3 dys and they tell me that they can't find the records. This is very unprofessional of a hospita. This is the last time i will ever take any of my love ones.
For the last 30 years my family have been coming to the hospital. As of today we regret that we even had my daughter give birth my 2 grandchildren. Some how all day long we received good service as the night crew came in the chart nurse and the nurse supervisor acted rude and discriminating. They both acted racist. Some how we are not like them cause we left the place not cause the asked us but cause we are all equal. Some how they think they own the hospital. I hope that the main Administrator gets to give a call cause I think that for my second generation to keep coming to this hospital is over.
This hospital does not even deserve one star. The employees here are young , immature & VERY rude. I never seen so many patients get ignored - let alone being laughed at for asking for help due to the pain they couldn't tolerate anymore. The doctors are unfortunately as unprofessional as the employees. My sister was diagnosed with an illness she didn't have. So , if you want to be misdiagnosed & take medicine you shouldn't even be taking - come to this hospital. They don't care about the patients health. I recommend you go to Kaiser Permanente where lives are taken seriously.
Today I took my son to the ER I was so disappointed with this hospital they treated us so bad. I told them that my son had a fever and cough that I had done a covid-19 test at home and it came out positive. They completely changed they attitude they treated me like I didn't know anything and told us to go outside it was like we had rabies. They also told me that it was going to take up 3 to 4 hours. And told us we had to wait outside for that long. It has been the first time that I have been treated like that in this hospital so bad so disappointed!!!
The hospital was very clean and the staff was fantastic. Emily, Rodelo, and Chica my nurses were friendly and kind and Michael my Physical Therapist was amazing. My main complaint was that the food was absolutely awful. I’m mostly a vegetarian and sometimes eat fish and they made absolutely no accommodations for me. But unfortunately I’ve found that very few places do. All in all I’d have to give the nursing staff a 10 out of 10, because they did usually manage to get me some hard boiled eggs and oatmeal to eat in the morning.
Kaitlyn, the older lady with blond hair working as the triage nurse at the emergency check in is so unpleasant. She is unempathetic, rude, has an attitude, unhelpful and is bitter. This not the way to communicate and treat sick patients who are sick and have come in to the ER seeking help. A person who works as the triage nurse at a hospital has to be nice, empathetic and helpful. Valley Presbyterian needs to look into hiring better help at their front desk as their triage nurse. (Seen at this ER on 3/17/2022 at 4:00 pm).
Pathetic service. My daughter and myself has been waiting for over 3 hours and was told it can be another two hours or longer. We can not leave because my daughter needs antibiotics. She has difficulty breathing and a terrible cough. There is only one Physician assistant. The person in charge is Nicole. There is not enough staff for this emergencies. This is not professional. I’m very disappointed and sad to wait this long . This hospital supposed to be a good hospital with great service. This is POOR SERVICE
If you can, avoid this hospital. Over the years their service has diminished. You’ll be transferred to a room and wait hours for service. My dad came with bloody stools. You would think that is an emergency that merits attention. He wasn’t helped until he went into shock; that is when his nurse called for the “Rapid Response Team.” Google the term. You get that if you’re dying. I could have traveled to the other side of the city and had my dad seen before he went into shock. Avoid this place, if you can
Most unorganized, dirty, unprofessional staff I have ever seen, will hopefully never step foot into this hospital. No accountability of patient care from Doctors. Only one doctor who specializes in a procedure and he was booked for 5 days, and they expect the patient to be in their jail like hospital rooms waiting for a procedure. The air in the hospital is stuffy and doesn't seem like it's being filtered. The Medical board should investigate the conditions of this hospital and their operations.
Mistreated in the hospital and the ER by staff and doctors many times along with others. We wait for hours, even patients bleeding or in severe pain from cancer. Don't complain about the care when admitted they put you in a 50 degree freezing room. The administrators do nothing. They double charged my insurance. When I was waiting for surgery with an outside doctor, he had to insist they admit me days before because I was so ill (from their misdiagnosis). Changed my insurance never to return.
HONESTLY IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO .I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO . At the front desk I had the worst the worst attention from “OFFICER RAMIREZ ” HER LAST NAME IS RAMIREZ ! a lady just sitting there asking you so rude what do you want . She honestly has no respect no hi how are you, or nothing. Honestly first time coming here and wow honestly such a horrible hospital . !!!!!!!!SHE WAS GIVING REALLY BAD ATTITUDE SOMEONE HONESTLY NEEDS TO TALK TO HER . SHE MADE ME FEEL SO MAD AND SO DISRESPECTFUL UGH !
My 15 year old daughter had ankle surgery here and unexpectedly we had to stay the night after finding her pain was too unmanageable to be discharged as planned. At every stage, from pre to post op & the overnight stay, the doctors, nurses, aids, admin and student nurses were wonderful. Caring, patient, kind, good listeners. We really felt they were advocating for us. Wow. Above & beyond my expectations. And a special note for the incredible Pediatric PICU teams. Angels each one!
I'm in Valley Presbyterian Hospital right now they were supposed to do surgery on me at 1:00 pm this afternoon it's now 9:00 pm I'm STILL waiting!! I haven't eaten or drank anything since midnight last night. I have not had my methadone all day !! I don't understand why they don't reschedule me....why make me suffer all day with nothing!! I will NEVER come back here again!! This is the worst hospital ever!! I would NEVER recommend anyone cones here!! It's the worst service!!
Went to emergency room 9 days post car accident, that wasn't my fault. The pain is so bad and I feel my condition is worse because I'm having more debilitating symptoms. I was out of pain meds and waiting to see pain doctor. Inspite the hospital knowing my history of RA, Fibromyalgia, and everything else, they told me they do not give narcotics. They gave me a muscle relaxant and sent me on my way. I cried all the way home. I couldn't believe that! I'm filing a complaint.
I've been here for 5 hours. Watched the waiting room fill up once again with new people. The nurses are rude. Refuse to tell me how many people are ahead of me when they were able to provide this answer to a different patient that came 30 mins before I arrived. While on the wheelchair not once but twice they crashed my foot into a chair and a trash can. Going onto my 6th hour and Erika wasn't able to help me but was ignorant and just trying to register me again.
I have been in the er twice in the past 5yrs. Each time I had top notch care, both in the Er and in a room on the 5th flr. I was in for SOB, pre diabetic and obesity. My drs. and the nurses were great. The food was excellent, and that was low sodium diet. I was there about a week, while Drs were debating on a pacemaker(my obesity was a issue). If I had a suggestion, it would be the size of the bathrooms. ( of course my size didn't help). I thank them all.
We brought the child to the ER , and told them that the child was fall down on head, and was waiting 3 hours for I don’t know why!!! And asking them how long more we have to wait, the nurses telling us that they don’t know, If I know that we have to spend hours in this freaking hospital I would never come here, another 2 hours past still waiting for doctor to see the child, I GUESS WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT SHIFT!!! Really ??? This is a hospital or what?
Really bad patient service. Went today to ER around 5:30 AM with 101 fever and was made to sit outside in shed with cold breeze for 30 mins before allocating bed. Also, they didn't took any vital signs (the front desk lady was very unprofessional). When they gave me the bed then just did the covid test and no other test was done... And discharged within 40 mins of allocating bed. Not at all recommended. DON'T EVEN THINK OF VISITING.
Nurses in Same-Day Surgery are amazing, kind, helpful and really care about their patients. The nurses I had the pleasure of having take care of me after surgery today were out of this world, they made sure I was comfortable and pain free. They were not in a hurry to shoo me out of the door to free up a bed like some surgery centers do. They were extremely friendly and just went above and beyond to ensure outstanding patient care.
The manager Emily in ER has absolutely no emotional intelligence and cares more about being right and imposing her title than providing any helpful communication. Never coming back here again. It is unacceptable to have a 15 month old needing breathing treatment waiting for almost 3 hours with no communication on possible wait time. We would have quickly gone somewhere else had we known it would be past 2.5 hrs. Do better Emily!
Brought my seven year old daughter into the ER for a head injury and was treated so badly by all the ER staff.. They took her vitals never looked at her bleeding head just told me it would take a hour for her to be seen.. when I followed up with the status for her to be seeing I was rudely told by the register that she had just arrived at her shift and how would she know?? Very disappointed with this hospital service..
Worst Security Ever….. Black Male in the main lobby and the Hispanic lady in the main lobby desk…. Denied for my daughter to go in with her mom to her appointment…. She’s only two years old…..I had to miss work to come and pick her up…..They said their “Policy” doesn’t allow minors in ….. Security refused to give me their name and to show me their policy where it states that minors are not allowed to go in. 05/22/23
It's beyond 10 stars. All staff is amazing, so sweet and caring. Always going above and beyond with care and compassion. Drs are amazing, very thorough and detailed and as busy as they are they take their time to answer every question or concern. I definitely will be returning here for my urgent medical needs. Thanks so much Valley Pres words can't express howuch I appreciate you
Don’t ever waste your time going to the emergency room. Nurses have bad bedside manner, especially if your POC the only good experience you will have here is the very friendly security. Other than that your waiting 4+ hours for nothing nurses think that they’re doing a good job but they’re not. The best hospital you will experience is Mission Hospital on roscoe fast service very friendly, staff, and nurses
Can't say enough good things about this hospital. My 91 year-old Dad was recently admitted with an enlarged heart. He couldn't walk and was coughing a lot. I was very afraid this was the end. But they saved his life!! Every day he has been getting stronger under their expert care. Remarkably, they are sending him to rehab soon, he has made so much progress. Wow! My expectations have been far far exceeded.
This hospital is so under rated. Yes unfortunately they get a lot of drug addicts but when I was shot I was taken to a highly rated hospital and the discharged me with sepsis. The same night I was brought into valley Presbyterian and the doctors and nurses literally saved my life where the nice hospital discharged me to die. Thank you valley pres for saving me and getting me home to my babies
I had back surgery on 4/6/23. I was treated so well by all the staff from pre op until the minute I left. I never had to wait after pushing the call button. The staff were very kind and attentive. The physical therapy was amazing. I believe mental health has a lot to do with healing and I strongly believe that I am doing as well as I am, because of the amazing staff and treatment I received.
This review is based on my experience with giving birth to my daughter. From getting checked in to the discharge process, I had the best experience with all medical staff. We also had the best experience with the help of the amazing Lactation Consultants before discharge as well as after during their help group times. I can’t say enough great things from this hospital!
Straight garbage. The ER IS THE WORST. First of all, the reception is just a circus. They don't have any emotional intelligence nor do these people care. Try sitting down with a teared labrum of your hip for 3 hours. I kept telling them but they didn't care. I came for er treatment but these super entitled people sent me to urgent care. ANecer again And I am a local
My good friend s. Was well taken care of and the sense of urgency that was needed. My only problem is that they said that he was discharged when he wasn't they should have said that he transferred to another area in the hospital all in all it's a good friendly hospital and the cafeteria is good.. I am writing a handwritten card to thank them on the 5th floor.
Been here 4 hours and they have only taken 3 people back in the emergency room. You see food and coffee delivery constantly going in but zero patient care and the emergency room is full. It’s like everyone that works here has been on break for 4 hours while patients suffer in pain and not a care in the world when you address the situation to them.
I didn't appreciate being "shushed" while I was in labor. The nurse had the nerve to shush me while I was in pain from a natural birth. Child birth hurts like hell and the nurses should know that. I've given birth twice here and that was the only issue I had both times. Other than that, the care is great and nurse's are very sweet and attentive.
I had Total Knee Replacement Surgery on January 11th, my RN Mary-Joy and Dexter were AWESOME. 4th floor West wing r the BEST. The PT and OT staff help me understand more about the healing process and what to expect. All in all I had a AMAZING EXPERIENCE AT VALLEY PRESBYTERIAN ✨️ and if I ever had to go to a hospital it would be there.
Just had a baby on 12/20/2021 and I have to say the staff at Valley Presbyterian were all amazing. From checking in to being discharged everyone was amazing. Dr. Yasharpour, our anesthesiologist Dr. Rivera and all our nurses: Abby, Trinity, Mimi and anyone else I may forgotten.... Thank you all so much for taking great care of us!
I don’t know why this hospital might’ve received anything led than 5 stars. I was admitted for 3 days for a variety of tests. The experience was without incident and very pleasant. The nurses and doctors were great. One might’ve been having a rough day, but wewe all do and that’s no reason to fault a facility. Thank you so much!!!
Worse nurses and empathy the staff has in second floor. Got admitted Tuesday afternoon and did not get discharged until Sunday 3 full days without eating or drinking king anything. Waiting for the surgeon he never arrived. Being a single parent with no support from no one the case worker from hospital couldn't help me either.
No good hospital doctors and nurses neglect you. I delivered here and it was the worst experience of my life! They also falsified medical records and supervisor from delivery team was no help. Site might delete this post soon for speaking the truth . Do NOT DELIVER HERE go TO HOLY CROSS . You’ll thank me later ;)
I wasnt aware that this hospital turns away pregnant women with kids and makes them wait outside in 90 degree weather. Props to allied univerals (abnur and angel) for their complete lack of consideration for pregnant women. I'll be sending in the video of the incident to various local news stations.
Worst ER service. We could literally be dying and they don’t even take that into consideration. I understand sometimes they can be under staff but the wait time is ridiculous. Waiting like 4 hours so my mom can be attended. She had symptoms of a stoke and they still took forever to attend her.
Love this Hospital I have never been to a hospital that I loved so much I don't want to leave and they are wonderful they were caring giving loving mother figure they cared for me like family brought me a Coke sandwich any time of the night. I feel safe and good and care for here
Very clean and welcoming environment. They are strict with security protocols for safety. I went to the lab and the girl who drew my blood was very professional, I didn’t feel a thing! Radiology got me through my exams with ease and also very clean environment. Great experience!
My only regret with this place , was having to deal with the security. Who are these people? They were terrible. Metal detectors, really , who are you guys hiding?. What a bunch of sorry people. Please do something. Get rid of this security co. I know you guy's can do better.
i wish i could leave it with no star. the most awful medical personnel you might meet in your life. they left me screem out of pain for 3 hours and not even didn't care, there was an African American lady there that almost threatened me to shut up. it was a nightmare!
I was born here in 1955 and came back for a visit in the mid '80s and was told there was no longer a maternity ward. Apparently there is now! Glad to hear that. For being a premie in '55, I did well! Retired telescope maker and veteran. Life is good.
If they cared as much about fast, efficient care as they did about safety, perhaps the hospital's rating wouldn't be 3 stars! I do not recommend! look for a hospital like Caesar Sinai Hospital! …
Worst ER in the entire valley, you’re better off staying home unless it’s real serious. Youll be sittin in the waiting room like a fool. Watch your belongings, thieves around. Left my short stay with a little more hate in my heart
Emergency room is the night mate they don’t take the patients seriously. They never call the patient we waiting more than 6hour still not enter to met the doctor. They like to chart the insurance with horrible services z
I was at a different hospital last night. After 8 hours, they had nothing. This hospital had diagnoses and treatments ready in 3. 3 hours. Thats how long it takes to treat somebody like a human (apparently)
Worst hospital in the history of worst hospitals. Just when you think you’ve found the worst, you’re wrong. Cause this one is the worst. Come in with a bullet in your neck expect a 4 hour wait
Had a great experience here. Still here in Tele floor. Nurses and Dr's Great. I did wait in ER for about 6 hours to be admitted but that's everywhere. RN Jenny ,Kenia, Nathan and Dom. . …
Emergency triage it's a nightmare. No order , my wife was brought by paramedics, we are still waiting, after 3 hours , we asked the personal, and their answers doesn't make sense.
We have been waiting for 2 1/2 hours already and they haven’t even called one person for the doctor to check out, literally no care, there are so many kids crying here as well.
If you tell them you’re a domestic violence victim they will not care they will just shame you and hang up on you. So please don’t go there if you need help. You won’t get it.
4/5 hours waiting for care, healthcare in the United States of America is worse than that of underdeveloped countries. I'm not here for free, I'm covered by a plan!
Many times we've been in weeks or days. Surgery ok. More staff showing why ratings so low. 6th day: treating men better. They saved both of us more than once
This is the worst hospital ever. I. M in the emergency room. Being here for 6 hours. The staff is rude . Don't come to this hospital is just BAD
Great medical experience, ER excellent attention and also all the staff, nurses and doctors explained with a lot of patient. Thanks!!
Worst wait in the emergency room. People come with their kids with fevers, and they are not seen right away. It's a 5-6 hour wait.
It takes forever for a doctor to c u.......i think u have better luck getting struck by lightning
Really bad go to any other hospital We waited 6 hours they never called us . …
I went for a foot pain and they did a very good job and it was fast
