If I could give no stars I would most definitely do so; unfortunately, it is not an option. I went in to pay a bill and was asked would I like to purchase an Apple Watch for $35-$37 plus taxes. I asked what was the catch; told that there was no catch that is the final price because it was a Black Friday deal early and the deals would change every day. I agreed and was asked do I have any family or friends that would want a watch, too. Make a long story short, we viewed the bills and noticed that there were activation charges, were not given the option to accept or decline device protection, and upgrade fees. Mind you, none of the above were disclosed prior to the purchases. It was explained to us that only a service fee of $10/month would apply. The question asked numerous times was will the installment fees be credited to the accounts, the final answer every time was yes. When we addressed with customer service via phone, we were told that was not the sale. We must wait until Wednesday for a reply from the district manager, who was present at the time of the purchases. Wednesday comes, we were told to wait in-store for an email from the credit department. In the end, we’re told that if it does not come by close of the day, 8:00pm, we must return tomorrow, Thursday, for the email. Do they really think people are to forget the deal and make numerous trips to the store for a resolution to the issue???All I say is BEWARE and WEARY!!! If and when you visit this location, which only an authorized retail store, record what is told to you at all times, even if paying a bill.

I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The store only had one employee, Laquanda (or a similar name), who kept the door locked and took her time getting up to unlock it. We knew right away she wasn't going to be helpful. We told her that my husband needed to order a new phone because the one he received in the mail wasn't packaged properly. She immediately said she couldn't help because we were not at a "corporate location". We then told her I needed to change phone lines to join with my husband, and upgrade my phone. She said I needed to call customer service to change my line and that she couldn't help me. I told her I would call while in the store and then upgrade, to which she stated "oh, you'll be on the phone at least an hour". I responded and said I'll try anyway. She then said that if I wanted to upgrade to an iPhone they had "no phones" right now and couldn't upgrade me. At that point, with literally no help from the employee, my husband and I looked at each other and said we would go somewhere else. I've seriously never met a lazier person in my entire life. What a joke. I would encourage Verizon to look into the staffing at this location.

I’ve been a member of Verizon for 8 years and I’ve never had a more pleasant experience with upgrading a phone. Brittany was the most knowledgeable employee I’ve met at any Verizon store and she was able to provide me with outstanding customer service. Her knowledge of the business and professionalism in handling my upgrade made my visit a very pleasant one. She special ordered a new phone for my wife and called us as soon as it came in. When we were in the process of backing her old phone up, my wife was getting frustrated as we had a meeting to get to. Brittany was able to help us with our time constraint by allowing us to take the phone home, back it up, then return it the next day. Whenever I go back to this store, I hope to see her there again! Thank you so much Brittany for being patient with us! We appreciate it and my wife is loving her new phone.

When I first entered into Russell Cellular, I was greeted with the warmest welcome by sisters Duana and Nadja! From that moment, I knew my experience would be a great one. Nadja asked what I came in for, and she set me up to speak with Duana. The transition was flawless. Duana took her time to articulately explain, in full detail, the process of opening a new account. She did not leave out any information, and I understood, with certainty, what I was paying for. I was amazed at her knowledge and professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to switch over to Verizon, to go through Nadja and Duana! I left the retail store a happy guy. After that experience, I am so glad that I switched over to Verizon. Those two young ladies were AWESOME!!!!! Definitely a 10 star rating.

Mya sold me a phone and then was unable to return it the next day when I was within all return policies practices. She said she didn’t have the training to know how to make a phone return. When I got a sister company to help, she refused to accept the help. All of her managers were conveniently unavailable both times I came in. We arranged a time later in the day when I could return with a manager present before my flight out of NOLA, and instead of being there, she went on break for the rest of her shift. Now I’m stuck with a $900 phone I can’t use. She never apologized or expressed any willingness to find answers to make my return happen. I hate writing low reviews, but I am at a loss for her level of customer service, lack of training/knowledge, and apathy.

Five stars to Jarred - he was super helpful & nice. We went in there to buy 2 Samsung phones, ordered them from. Bryan . We weren't told anything about paying anything up front, or about an additional activation fee. He called this morning to tell us the phone were in but to not come into the store until 5pm because they were "so busy." So after leaving information out, he dodged us completely. We get there and Noone was there but Jarred, who had no idea why Bryan made us sit around & waste a portion of our Saturday. Luckily Jarred came to the rescue & was perfect. If for some reason we have to come back into this store - we'll skip Bryan & go straight to him.

I unknowingly called the call center for this company looking for a new popular phone. Pamela, on my first, call blew me away with her customer service. She went the extra mile to do the legwork that most companies make you do ie calling stores to check availability. I had to call a second time, hoping to get Pamela again, but I didnt. I got, Kaylee. The customer service was just as great. She called other stores for me and got me everything I needed. 2 in a row. Not a fluke. I went to the store to get my new phone and BAM!, that great customer service strikes again. I could not be happier with this companies hiring, training and retaining process.

Russell Cellular New Orleans - A very good experience from start to finish. Being from out of town on vacation I was definitely a new customer but I was greeted by Bryan as soon as I entered the store. Even though there were customers ahead of me he still acknowledged that I was there to get an idea of what I needed. Bryan was very knowledgeable about the phones and helped with picking a new one. One of my main concerns was getting everything transferred from my old phone to my new one, that was taken care of with no problem. And a big plus, it is within walking distance of the French Quarter. I would definitely recommend Russell Cellular New Orleans.

My wife lost her phone while we were at Mardi Gras (grrr...). For reasons that are probably obvious, she didn't feel comfortable continuing our vacation without a phone. The employees at this store were awesome. Rather than push a new phone on us, they helped us understand that one of the old phone I had with me (I'm a mobile developer, I always have extra phones I get off of eBay with me) just needed a $7 SIM card and my wife would ba back up and running. They got the SIM, then spent the next 30 or so minutes helping my wife setup her "new" phone. I'm very thankful for their help.

Where do I start? I really do not want to get started. The first day the lady that worked their she was ok, to her defense it was near closing time, and the customers kept pouring in. So she get a break. However, the next day I go in and the MANAGER Was Ridiculous! I think he was saving the Note 10 Plus for someone else. First he was going sell it to me, then he kept telling me go to another store, He messed my account and the host of other issue. I am not a happy camper! This manager will cause a collapse in the business should he keep doing business the way he's doing it

Mr Marlon saves the day! I did not buy my phone here, but recently made a payment (prepaid) after I discovered how convenient this store is to my employer. There was a 'snafu'. Anyone else would have said "not my problem", and let me deal with Verizon customer service. Mr Marlon obviously believes in 'The Golden Rule'. He treated me and the issue with the utmost respect and worked diligently until it was resolved. For the $3.50 service fee to make a payment here, he certainly went out of his way to make sure I had service BEFORE I left his store. "Thank you, Mr Marlon!"

When I lost my phone somewhere on Bourbon Street while staying in the city for a conference, I was super stressed. How would I get through 3 more days without a phone?? Luckily I found this store walking distance from the hotel, where Bryan came to my rescue! He was incredibly helpful in the selection of a new phone, and his friendly and helpful demeanor calmed me down. Bryan even found a promo deal that saved me hundreds of dollars! He made the whole experience go smoothly, and I left with a smile and a shiny new 5G phone!

This place was great. My phone broke and I urgently needed to get a new one for my work. I was helped by Marlon who went above and beyond the normal service I receive. Several other customers came in with other issues and in between transfering my sim card and downloading all my data, he was able to help them out and constantly checked on my progress. He was able to give everyone attention and efficiently handle our requests, and was nice about it too. Don't see that a lot, so I appreciated Marlons efforts.

I was just in New Orleans and of course on vacation and my phone dies. I spent the first night looking for a place to help, best buy's charger didn't work and boost was worthless on the main drag, I accidently stubled on Verizon where I was greeted by Marlon who was wonderful. They didn't have the charger I needed, but he let me use the store one a couple of times so I could get pics and let everyone back home know I was ok. Just wanted to say a big thanks for all your help, Be blessed!

I had such a great experience here. On vacation in NOLA my iPhone’s SIM card stopped working for a day. I went to the Verizon store and the store manager Lanesha Warren was so helpful! She tried a couple things and when they didn’t work, she rang up the Verizon technical support with a recommendation of how they could help me and with support technician, Sylvia, we got everything up and running. All in all a great customer service experience! Thanks Lanesha!

I work in downtown New Orleans roughly 25 minutes from home. I use my phone to record conversations for my job. When I forget a charger for my phone it’s not an easy task to just run home and get it. Today was one of those days that I forgot it. I remembered the Verizon store in the building across the street. Jarred was very helpful, polite and courteous. He got me in and out in no time. I lost my phone because, well, things like that happen to me. After a mad search, I reluctantly headed to Verizon to get a new one. I don't technology very well so I was prepared for the huge headache that goes with setting up a new phone. Justin was super helpful and talked me through every step and made sure I got everything I needed at the lowest price possible. He was very friendly and the store itself was very welcoming and well organized.

I had high hopes based on the other Google reviews, but the staff didn't deliver. They didn't acknowledge me when I walked in the door. They were all busy with customers, I understand that, but then they greeted everyone who entered after me and then prioritized their issues over mine. I left without resolving my issue after waiting for 20 minutes without so much as a "hello, what can I help you with?" Would not recommend, and will not go back.

Lane’sha, the manager, was a joy to work with. I was trying to transfer my phone number between carriers and was stuck in limbo. She not only took the time to help me with my issue, but coordinated the solution with corporate, and filled the time in between with pleasant conversation and pictures of her pet turtles. Lane’sha turned a tech issue that was my blocking my work (which is dependent on my phone) into a really pleasant morning.

Jarred and Sly (sp?) were amazing. Both worked well past closing to accommodate me and the other customers in the store. Made my switch from another carrier seemless and my return to NOLA a little less hectic with all the connectivity issues in the city. Got me a bee phone and mobile hotspot to ensure I could start my remote job again on Monday. Thanks for the superb customer service during times like these.

Needed to get a new phone for someone on my plan in New Orleans , La Justin From Russell cellular on Poydras in NOLA was respectful, helpful, and knowledgeable as to the phone I wanted and had it shipped there For me and when it came in called me , I had family member then go to the store and he helped him set it up ! I was in NOLA on vacation when my phone went down. After a couple hours on the phone with Verizon they advised it was likely the SIM card. I came to the store at 10 AM for an emergency with my phone. I waited almost half an hour and no one showed up. I don't know if they were opening later on this Tuesday, But according to their front door and Google they were supposed to be open at 10. I find this highly unacceptable for a place of business

Terrence was a complete professional, and had to handle many customers at the same time. He multi-task beautifully. He had a very rude customer and he handled it like a pro. Even as someone was treating him badly he was completely respectful the entire time. The best experience I had at a Verizon store.
