Honestly if I could give negative stars I would. From the moment I walked in the door I felt uncomfortable. My girlfriend and I just moved to the area so we brought our male Pomeranian for the grooming service there after finding out the groomer "bred Pomeranian's." Upon arrival she was very aggressive with him but assured us she is VERY experienced with dogs and very gentle. We should have taken him home that very moment but unfortunately we left him for the session and counted down the minutes to pick him up. TVC called to let us know he was ready so we headed over. When we got there the vet let us know that there was a "small incident" and that he had tried to jump off the table while being groomed and had a small "cut" by his back leg because he got tangled on the groomers necklace. I wish Google allowed me to post pictures because it was certainly not a small cut and it was NOT from a necklace. The groomer buzzed by his back leg all the way down past the skin to the point there was an open wound/rash. In the moment of finding out, I freaked out on them, grabbed our dog and left. They have some nerve to 1) Not call his owners the moment the incident happened to let us know. 2) Treat the injury without telling us what they were doing and 3) Demand that I still pay + tip for the grooming. Please avoid this place at all costs. I am an avid animal lover and the fact that they did this to our poor dog without much as an apology or reimbursement is an atrocity. Poor animals cannot defend themselves and this was plain and clear malpractice. We have taken him to multiple groomers over the course of his life time and we have NEVER had an incident happen before.

It has taken me over a year to write this review because of how close this has touched my heart. During the pandemic our dog contracted an infection in her uterus. She was in pain for days and the only place that was able to see her was VCG. They took my dog inside while I waited in the rain and gave me the results. We took her home and gave her the best last meal you can give your favorite pet, until she couldn't eat any more... the next day we took her in and they let us sit with her before she was put to sleep. We held her in our arms and waited until she slept for good. The staff was extremely supportive, and I am forever thankful that they let us sit with her so that she didn't go alone in a room full of strangers. As a memory they gave us a paw-print made in the sand that we look at every day. A few weeks later we received a handwritten note from one of the doctors concerning our recent loss. We cannot thank them enough for being so thoughtful and comforting during a time that would have been made worse due to the conditions set forth by the pandemic. A compassionate staff for creatures that make our lives so much better. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You guys are the best and I'm only sorry that I could not write this review sooner. I became a client of Veterinary Care Group back in the summer of 2018 with my senior cat. Previously I had been a client of Dr. Andino's for nearly 17 years and of course followed her to Glen Oaks (although I live in Forest Hills). For me this a win-win-win situation!!!! The office in Glen Oaks has cool bottled water, coffee on tap and candy. But it is the cleanliness and professional of the staff which makes this office outstanding. Clear explanation of procedures and upfront costs. The fact Veterinary Care Group networked all their locations is one smart move. If I need refills or food I can just pop into the local office in Forest Hills and the front desk can pull up my pet's records. My senior cat passed away at the age of 19 earlier this year, the staff were so kind and supportive and made the adjustment for me so much easier. I now have a 13 week Tuxedo (see pics) and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else but the Glen Oaks office to see Dr Andino. I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Kudos!!!

Dr Zhang did my kittens first checkup after we adopted him! She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Due to COVID, we were not allowed inside which is completely fine as they allowed us to FaceTime during the whole visit. We were explained everything in detail and the price was broke down for us over the phone as well as before, during, and after the appointment so there were no surprises. We were pretty much educated about everything we needed to know as new cat owners. Dr Zhang answered all of our questions and was super nice when we didn’t understand something and had more follow up questions. We really love the Glen Oaks location as the staff is super nice and always willing to help. I just went in today to get my cats nails trimmed and he was in and out in exactly three minutes which is insanely fast! They are super gentle and I recommend them to anyone and everyone because they are so kind, professional, and transparent. Cocoa looks forward to seeing you guys soon!

When I got my first pet last year, I had no idea what VET to take him to. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Julie Andino. I live in the Bronx but I figured I would go and check it out even though she was in Queens. I was extremely happy. Dr. Andino and her entire staff are always so happy to see all the animals that go there and treat them as if they were their own. Whatever I didn’t understand, they were all very happy to help. My dogs are happy to see them as well. I also love the fact that a couple of days after a visit, someone always calls to check up and see how my dog is doing. That’s awesome!! I now have 3 dogs going to her and when my 3rd dog arrives, she will be going there too!! I also recommended my brother who’s also in the Bronx and he takes his dog there!! I would highly recommend them!! Update: I now have 3 dogs as of November 2019 and they all go to VCG!! Couldn't be happier!!! Thanks VCG for taking care of my babies!!

I have been a client of Veterinary Care Group - Glen Oaks since the summer of 2018 when my dog Roxie's favorite vet moved to this clinic. I have been a client of Dr. Andino since I first got her back in 2009. Veterinary Vet Care - Glen Oaks is an awesome clinic, super friendly staff, and a very nice and clean office. For Dr. Andino, I have no words to explain how well she cares for my baby... Even when we lived in California, I would take Roxie to see Dr. Andino every time we were back on the east coast. I specially flew her here for her dental with Dr. Andino in 2017, did not trust anybody else to do it. Now we live in NJ, but I happily drive my car to cross the rivers. Dr. Andino makes me and Roxie feel very safe and well taken care of. I would not have anybody else take care of my baby!

We have been using Dr. Andino as our fur babies' vet for over 10 years, and we wouldn't trust them with anyone else. Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Ariel, is 4 years old and has been with Dr. Andino since she was 11 weeks old. Our American Cocker Spaniel, Jasmine, is 10 years old and has been with Dr. Andino since she was 12 weeks old. Dr. Andino is more like a second mother to them. Her warmth, caring, and calm demeanor make our fur babies feel right at home with their "mama" Andino. Sometimes they don't even want to leave. We would highly recommend Dr. Andino to anyone looking for an excellent and very experienced veterinarian. Also, the staff at VCG Glen Oaks, are very welcoming and warm, and always available to answer any questions or concerns.

Born and raised in Suffolk - I kept traveling back to Suffolk to bring my cat to the vet. Rush hour traffic would take over an hour. I was very hesitant to try new locations for my fur baby but going to VCG at Glen Oaks was the best decision I made for my sanity and for my cat. Dr. Andino and her team were so comforting and knowledgeable. I respect that she knew the cats limits (my cat is arthritic and is in pain) and did not want to irritate him anymore. Just based on that I can tell she is a genuine animal lover that puts their needs above all else. Any question I had she provided a thorough answer that have helped my senior cat and improve his quality of life. If you are looking for veterinarian, I highly suggest you go to VCG at Glen Oaks!

Last June, I brought my King Charles Cavalier Spaniel to see Dr. Andino. Molly was 11 and she was struggling with a few issues. Dr. Andino never rushed me with my questions, in fact, she was so compassionate you’d think Molly was her own dog. After dealing with many of my tears, Dr. Andino gave Molly almost 5 more months of quality of life. Shortly before Thanksgiving, I knew Molly was tired. She didn’t want to leave us but she went into a cardiac arrest at the ER in Forest Hills. We got to say goodbye to Molly and she was at peace. Thank you Dr. Andino. It took a long time to grieve Molly but we now have a shi tzu pup named Abby. She’s 3 months old and you’ll be meeting her soon. I wouldn’t trust any other doctor except for you you. ❤️

Although my review is a bit late, I wanted to share my experience and how amazing the staff is at VCG Glen Oaks. Dr Andino is so sweet and personable. My pitbull Sookie needed a dental cleaning and a small growth removed from her leg. The procedure went well and I was updated throughout the day. When it was time to pick my baby up she was being hand fed by the staff. They took such good care of her and she wasn’t scared at all. I also want to mention that Sookie was never muzzled for her appointments, as some other vets do simply because of her breed. Sadly, my baby passed away from cancer a few weeks later and somehow Dr Andino found out and took the time to call me. Such an incredible facility with kind doctors and staff.

I went there as an emergency because I was afraid my cat who was in labor wouldn't be able to deliver her kittens. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed inside but the the Vet called me every 10 mins. She said after examining my cat, that everything was normal and to bring the cat home. I went to pick her up and I was told to wait because one of the babies were in the process of being delivered. when I went to pick up my cat ( Mercury) she was given to me with a brand new cat carrier, a brand new kitten and the blessing of this wonderful Vet!!!! All done from the kindness of her heart!!!! she didn't even charge for the visit She wanted to make sure of baby was safe and well!!!! Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤

My 3 year old dog Abby is a shi-tzu who has been a patient of Dr. Andino and veterinary care group in Glen oaks since she has been a puppy. I have nothing but fabulous experiences with the staff, receptionists, and Dr. Andino. They are loving, caring individuals, who always put their clientele first. Dr. Andino and her staff treat Abby with respect, kindness, and always a gentle touch. Dr. Andino never rushes you out of the office. She takes the time to answer all of your questions. She has a tremendous amount of compassion and she will never try to push any kind of service onto you unless she feels that your pet absolutely needs it to prolong a healthy, happy life. Abby and I love you all!

Dr Sands was friendly clear and thorough with her examination of my bearded dragon. I was so worried after my beardies eating habits and poo consistency changed. I sent an email via the website and received a return calk the same day; really within a few hours. All staff were warm and welcoming. They took care of us expeditiously. I left with medication and food supplements for my bearded dragon and she is a new reptile! The office is clean, uncluttered and orderless. Bouns, they have parakeet and turtules in the office. Adds a nice touch. The care credit option helps as well. Highly recommended.

1Star/ for Dr. Andino very unprofessional and no empathy toward the pet's parent when assuming a bad prognosti she is very unsure of the results coming from the lab and them she gets in the defensive mood that we are having misunderstanding. We are super unhappy and will never bring our dear pet to Glenn oaks office or any or this VA. Read BBB reviews are 1 star so many huge mistakes these Vets are making toward our pet's . I don't want to hear any remarks I will follow up with CEO with Mr Tad Stahel at Trive pet corporation and affiliate offices in NYC .

Took our dog Brandy there today for first time. We have tried other vets but haven't found "the one". Well we found them. We went here for Dr. Yee in Little Neck but ended up seeing Dr. Costa in Glen Oaks, due to traffic we were stuck in. Well we were thrilled. Dr. Costa was amazing, the staff was amazing, especially Jennifer who was in the room with Dr. Costa. If you need a kind, caring, awesome vet, look no further. We will be back now for Dr. Yee AND Dr. Costa. Thank you so much see you in a few weeks for teeth cleaning.

One of the best vets I’ve been too. I usually visit the Little Neck location, however, the VCG team was extremely helpful with finding availability at other locations in a pinch. I had to bring my Pomeranian in for some wound care. It turned out that he needed surgery as I suspected and VCG was able to have that happen right away after examining. They understood the urgency and were transparent about everything. I felt very assured to leave my dog in their capable hands. We will be coming back for any future visits!

We had just adopted our cat, Juniper, 2 weeks ago, and this was our first visit to a vet clinic for a checkup as well as for an earmite check and fecal inspection. The process could not have gone smoother, and each staff member we spoke to was so kind and sweet - we feel like they genuinely care about Juniper the way we do! Great COVID guidelines in place too, which made us feel even more comfortable. We greatly appreciate the experience we had with VCG Glen Oaks, and we (and Juniper!) look forward to coming back.

Dr. Andino is the best there is. She is soft-spoken and treats the animals with tenderness and care, all the while giving a thorough exam and following up with anything she thinks is questionable. I followed her to this office from a prior veterinary office, even though it is difficult for me to get to Glen Oaks. All the staff members are kind and considerate, even under the difficult conditions they have to work in due to COVID restrictions. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Andino and the Glen Oaks office more highly.

My Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Fiona, has been seeing Dr. Andino for a little over a year now. We LOVE her. Dr. Andino and the team are always professional, polite, and helpful. Whenever I take Fiona I can always expect a follow up text the next day checking in. If I have any concerns or questions I know I will receive an answer the same day. I was recommended to this office by my best friend. Just started coming here since October with both my dogs and the staff is great on the phone and in person. Extremely sweet and professional. I've had a chance to have my dogs been seen by Dr. Andino and Dr. Zhang and they are so great and knowledgeable. They gave me different options on how to go about each situation with my dogs. The Glen Oaks staff is really caring and kind to the pets. The visit I had for my stray kitten was quick and thorough. They have strict procedures for visits in place to make it a safe experience for you, your pet, and their staff. The vet and vet techs are responsive and actively communicate with you while your pet is getting checked. I would definitely recommend this place for your furry friends. VCG-Glen Oaks is extremely responsive, thorough, and all around amazing. I love how the doctor always gives me a detailed description of the visit, especially during a time when I can't be in the room during an examination. I also love that they will send you reminders for any future vaccines/exams needed! The prices are very reasonable as well. All my future vet visits with my pandemic puppy will be with VCG-Glen Oaks :)

Dr. Andino is the ONLY vet I will use for my cats, because I am a crazy cat lady and my cats are my world. Dr. Andino understands this and puts up with me (I’m worse than my cats.) How good is Dr. Andino? I take a half-hour cab ride with my oxygen tank to see her. If you want the best, Dr. Andino is it. The office staff is great too and are able to handle a nervous cat mother who is wayyyyyyy too worried about her cats.

Dr. Andino is amazing, super-caring and wonderful. She truly cares about animals. She performed a thorough exam on my baby and answered all my many tedious questions patiently. This place is amazing! I took my dog here when she was very sick. The doctors treated her so well and were very professional and nice about everything. They explained to me step by step what was wrong and what I needed to do. They took what could have been a very traumatic experience and calmed me down made me feel like I was in very capable hands. Now my dog is healthy and healthy.

Dr. Andino has known my two poodles since they were 8 weeks old (currently they are 5 and 6 years old) and she has always cared for them as I do. I have come to follow her from Forest Hills because she is always looking out for their well-being and I would not trust anyone else. The new location is great and the staff are super friendly. This is a great place for my pets. Maybe a little expensive, but, everybody in there always has a smile and are always trying to make my dog comfortable. The vets take their time looking at the records and asking for follow ups. Then, they don't hurry you up if you have questions or concerns. I'm very happy with them.

After spending close to $2,000 ( cats were very sick)I started to due some investigating and found out they are very expensive. I'm not saying they aren't any good because they happen to be very good veterinarians and really know what they are doing. I could have went to petco and paid $278.00.

Been a client for many years, and the quality of care is consistently excellent. As the face of this business, Dr. Andino is thorough, compassionate, and professional. They don’t offer any incentives for posting reviews, or recommending news clients, which I suppose is good (for customers).

The vet Emily Zhang was apathetic towards my cat and only wanted to over-charge me by doing expensive tests. I don't know if she's under pressure of getting commission but she's definitely losing a customer in me. AVOID EMILY ZHANG. Go to little neck for Dr. Ma or Dr. Huang instead.

I’ve been to other vet offices with a previous pet but Dr.Andino is by far the best! She explains everything in a way that you can easily understand and the office is responsive and it’s so easy to make appointments or just ask a question. By far the best veterinary I have been to!

Our kittens Cacao and Pollen recently turned 5 months and were neutered at VCG and have healed very well. Our cats are so lucky to be under the care of Dr Andino and her professional staff. We feel so lucky to have such a great clinic near us and highly recommend VCG services.

The prices are incredibly High. It cost me $360 for the visit and they wanted $550 for a neuter. Then to top it all off I misplace a dewormer pill and they wanted to charge me $37.50 for another one. They couldn't even give me a courtesy pill. They lost my business after that.

I've been to a few vets in the past but this place is the best. Very professional and genuine employees. Usually I feel ripped off and offered alot of up sells at other the vets. But this one was very honest and straight forward. Thank you to everyone that took care of Jack.
