I am the owner of a 6 yr old Alaskan Malamute with aggression and anxious tendencies. Before every appointment, I always become a bit anxious myself because I never know how the appointment will go and how my dog will behave or if he’ll cooperate with the staff. In the past month, we’ve visited the Little Neck facility twice. The first time was for vaccinations and a physical however, the dose of medication prescribed prior to the appointment wasn’t strong enough for my dog to be cooperative. The staff still worked their best and hardest and were able to administer the vaccines and gave me a different dose for next time. The next time, upon arrival my dog was very very nervous and didn’t want to go in. The staff came out to meet us on the sidewalk and we all worked together to bring him in and they did everything they could and were successful in getting blood, urine, weight measurement, etc. There’s nothing this staff couldn’t handle and I’m so very proud to say that my dog has a wonderful, diligent, understanding and compassionate veterinarian clinic! I don’t think this review can really do them justice because the experience was so overwhelming for me in the beginning but their understanding and willing to help and do everything they could was the biggest blessing ever. Thank you everyone! You are fantastic!!!

I was in search of a new vet doctor for my fur babies, I called VCG, and from the phone call alone, I was attached!! The rep (Jessica), who answered my call, was extremely polite, to say the least. She took the time to ask questions about my cat, to best fit him into the schedule. She offered same day appointment after making sure the other client was no longer coming for their appointment. Once I got there, the place was clean and bright, I felt very welcomed I don't remember the nurse's name, but she too was kind and caring. Dr. Ma was also very kind and showed a lot of caring and concern for my Tigger. My overall experience was amazing, and my Tigger, who is very scared of strangers, surprisingly was comfortable walking around at ease because he sensed he was around good professional people. The next day, Dr. Ma called me right away with his test results. I am happy to have found a new vet to treat my fur babies when they fall ill. may whoever come to this practice have a wonderful experience as I did!!

Three times I've tried to take my dog to this vet in the past year because he was unwell and three times I was told they're fully booked and can't make time for him. THREE. TIMES. What kind of doctor office doesn't make exceptions for urgent cases? "Sorry we're fully booked. You can always find an emergency room to go to" is NOT what a pet parent (or any kind of parent) wants to hear. Don't doctor offices exist to accommodate ill patients? What's the point of having a designated doctor for your pet if they can only allow for scheduled appointments? Apparently, this office thinks we plan our fur babies' sick days in advance. Shame on this location for showing no sympathy & allowing no exceptions for their patients. Their priority is clearly leaving for the day. Being a "woman owned small business" doesn't warrant the community's support or money if y'all don't have the damn compassion to be serving the fur babies of this community.

I’ve been using VCG for about 4 years now and I at first it was because the Little Neck office opened up and it was real close to my house and my cats hate being in the car. But I find all the vets really caring and the vet tech staff very loving to my cats. The other day I had a scheduled procedure at 9am with Dr Wei Lee and my cat’s bladder was empty instead of full. Instead of rescheduling she suggested they keep him there, give him fluids and wait until his bladder was full enough for his procedure. She suggested charging for just half day boarding and he should be done in a few hours. However it ended up taking a lot longer and he was there a good 7-8 hrs. The procedure was successful and they charged me the same original quote too! I’ve also used their other locations when it’s real urgent and that’s another added bonus. If necessary your pet most likely can be seen at another location close to the date or time you need it.

Extremely happy with the care and service provided by the doctors and staff. Special shout out to Dr. Tsang and Meredith who have gone over and beyond for my peckingnese, Honey. She is a difficult patient but regardless of her temperament the staff at Veterinary Care Group have been more than patient and caring towards her. Long story short, my dog was hit by a FedEx truck as well as having horrible infections that can only be treated through IV antibiotics. While Honey was going through treatment at LIVS for her issues Dr. Tsang was extremely helpful and consistent with following up with her. Also I tend to be a bit neurotic whenever I see the slightest issue and Veterinary care group has been able to accomodate us into their schedule whenever I needed which I have greatly appreciated. Overall I enjoy bringing Honey there and recommend Veterinary Care Group to anyone looking for a new vet for their animal. :)

Just stopped by to give an update. About a year ago my English Bulldog had serious trouble with his inverted tail..A nightmare of a time..4 vets in 5 weeks..4 blood tests in 5 weeks..Only this vet said the test returned e-coli..amazing ..This vet helped us out a lot. This was the only vet to call up with test results and to follow up. Until I decided not to do the operation..Then they never called back. The operation would have cost thousands and I didn't have it so the vet suggested that for 200 dollars he could kill my dog..I opted to not kill my dog. Here it is a year later and my guy if fine..no operation just daily care.. I think of this vet often..I always remember how clean and organised and caring they seemed..yet..I must say that all that glitters is not gold..best of luck to all

We took our dog to the vet we had used for years for x-rays and when we took her home she was a different dog, she was sick and had kidney failure, needless to say, we will never take her back to him again. We then came to Veterinary Care Group and Dr. Mario Costa treated her, he was a life saver, he saved our dog. Right away he did a blood test and discovered she had kidney failure, he told us to take her to the hospital because she needed to be on fluid IVs to get rid of all the toxicity in her body, we took her to West Hills (where Dr. Costa used to work when he was studying to be a vet) and they saved our dog. If it wasn’t for Dr. Costa my dog wouldn’t be here today. Thank you so much Dr. Costa for saving Riley!!! You’re an awesome doctor!!!

Covid guidelines are followed! Convenient free open air parking lot behind VCG off of Horace Harding Expresssway. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable. Dr Yee answered all my concerns about my pet in a phone call. I waited in my car until called about my pets diagnosis. I filled out an online description of symptoms and basic info about my pet prior to my visit that morning. The cost for each option of diagnosis was clearly shared after my pets initial examination at VCG. My pets health is greatly improved. I would like to see them write a bullet list of the treatment plan to take with me instead of a post it and audio instructions at the door. I reccomend this Vet location, but take your phone to record the treatment plan at the door.

I just moved my dog to VCG Little Neck after a very horrible experience with our prior vet. I had my dog & cat at this prior vet; the staff was ever-changing & rude, and the vets were always dismissive, pushy, and impatient. But it was around the corner from where we live so I dealt with it for approx. 2 years. Upon bringing my dog to VCG Little Neck for the first time this past weekend, I was taken aback at first by how genuinely kind, gentle, and patient the receptionist, vet tech, and vet ALL were at our visit. I left nearly in tears that a vet like this exists, and truly look forward to any visits we have in the future. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the work that you do and the values that you hold.

Front desk personnel are always pleasant and accommodating. The follow-up phone calls, whether they are for appointments, questions, or after-appointment check-ins are very much appreciated. Dr. Yee and Dr. Ma are incredibly thorough in their explanations of results, answers to questions, and treatment options. I've never once felt pressured into additional testing or medications, nor have I felt like they were pushing anything for the sake of extra fees. I've been through three other clinics with my 13 yo dog and I'm glad I finally found VCG at a time when she's unavoidably developing some geriatric conditions. 10/10 in my book.

Brought my new puppy there for the first time. He was welcomed with open arms at the door. I was able to watch the entire exam remotely with telemedicine technology. Dr. Ma and Mei we’re very gentle with my pup and did a very thorough examination of him. They were able to give him his vaccinations without a problem and even clipped his nails at no charge because they needed a clipping. Dr Ms explained every aspect of the exam to me while I was watching remotely. They handled my pup with care and sent us home with some complementary preventative products. I am very happy with the service that was provided at VCG Little Nick.

I am a first time owner of a puppy. I researched about the best vet places in my area and found this clinic. The place is clean and accesible . They are making sure to follow appropriate protocol during COVID times to protect pets and their owners. Everyone from the front desk to the techs were kind and energetic. Dr Ma was so sweet and knowledgable, she answered all my questions (trust me, they were many) without any issues. It is expected to feel anxious with a new puppy, therefore it is important to find a place where you are going to feel relaxed and well taken care of. Overall i would recommend this place to anyone!

They have gone above and beyond for my Chloe since the min we walked in for a consult yest (appt made that morning), an emergency sx the same day and her f/u appts post sx. I am so happy I made an appointment for my dog here. He just needed a checkup and a rabies vaccine and everything was done in no time! I called and I met the vet tech at the door right away! No waiting at all. I waited in my car for less than 5 minutes and the vet called me right away. I love that they dont keep you waiting. My other vet makes you wait in the car for over 30 minutes before they even come to get your dog. Then another hour or more just for your dog to be seen by the vet. I am definitely switching to the Vet Care group. Their prices were great too!

The Dr. and staff were incredible; accommodating, patient and incredibly kind. They didn't seems to be as concerned about fees as they were about Sami and her human's overall wellness. Sometimes things happen for a reason and when the practice I had used for years became too difficult to work with during an emergency, I found, quite by accident this remarkable group. I love my dog, just like you do and I would only recommend what I consider to be a top notch practice. Veterinary Care Group is a most welcome addition to the community.

Outstanding clinic. 5-star service, equipment, and excellent staff. Dr. Janice Huang is God's gift from pet heaven. She is extremely caring, compassionate, and professional. The vet tech, Meredith, had such a positive and enthusiastic attitude that radiated throughout the room. It is obvious they both love what they do. My pug was given the best care I could have imagined and I will be bringing my kittens soon for their wellness check. I have no doubt this will be my vet clinic for the foreseeable future. visited today with my cat for a paw issue she's been dealing with, went to a different vet who we felt did not do a proper job of identifying the issue she was having. Today her visit was great, the staff was extremely nice and the Vet explained thoroughly every single step we needed to take for her to make things so much easier/even explained what each did and made sure we didn't have any other questions. This was a major difference, will bring all my pets here in the future. cant recommend more, thanks again!

Fantastic place, everyone there is very caring for all the animals both the vets and vet techs. We've been taking all of our cats there for years and they've always acted in the best interest of them going above and beyond, even taking us last minute when they where closing for a emergency we had with one of our cats. Thought the parking is not the greatest at times because of the market next door, it's usually middle o the day or early morning on the weekend. Any other time it's not so bad!

There's a heavy secretary receptionist with glasses I don't know her name she literally gave me an appointment for today and when I arrived at my appointment she said no she did not give me an appointment today. She totally change the story because the veterinarian left didn't wait for me I was 10 minutes late they just wanted to be closed and out of there but she didn't have to lie to me she could have said sorry I'll leave the bed left very disappointed since doctor Wang sold the facility

Good service, but I find it hard to make an appointment. They have no easy Online option to make an appointment, they just ask you to leave your number there, then they call you, but often I can't pick up and when I tried to call back, the call went to voicemail where they ask you to leave your number, again. Not to mention that I hate making phone calls. Still, that's a small thing and it doesn't justify rating them lower. But, seriously, let us make appointments entirely online!

I had moved to the area last year and had been looking for a new vet for my 3 year old pup for a while now and decided to give VCG a try. The staff was incredibly professional and super courteous from the minute I scheduled the appointment to the day of the appointment. Drop off was super easy and communication was instant once my pup had been examined. The office staff were also very attentive and helpful through every step of check in and check out. Love this new spot!!

The best veterinary practice I have ever been to! Between Dr. Huang, Patricia Dominguez, Meredith, Carlos, and especially Juil, this place couldn't possibly have a better staff! They are so diligent, patient, informative, and they really care about your pet. My boyfriend feels much more at ease bringing my dog to the vet with him in their care and I really do want to thank you guys for always helping us in any given situation. The staff here are truly angels they were so sweet, caring, and knowledgeable I am so happy I found them and will be returning . 100% my go to. The staff is super friendly and very calm and careful with my dog. My dog has crazy anxiety and will scream if a stranger tries to touch her. But they're very calm and everyone sweetly talks to my pup. They understand her anxiety and they're not there to milk money out of me. They genuinely care. When I come for follow-ups checkups, they're usually complimentary to make sure everything is okay. I honestly love coming here.

I’ve been with VCG little neck for 4 years ever since I adopted my dog. It’s 20 mins driving from my place but I stay with them. They are professional. The place is clean and neat without unpleasant smell like some other clinic. no long waiting as long as you are on time for the appointment. The staffs are kind and nice. The price is not the cheapest but definitely reasonable. Thank you to Dr. Ma for taking care of my baby !

Five star care five star place staff is amazing and I went through a very hard time when I had to put my pitbull down 19 years old it was one of the hardest days of my life but somehow some way the doctor at the hospital was able to comfort me too a certain level enough to get to my car where I was comfortable alone but it's never been the same since I lost my baby girl rest in peace chichi

The practice and people are outstanding! I bought my cat who had elimination issues and he was treated with love, care and compassion by the doctor. The office and "patient" rooms are very clean and modern. I spent extra time talking to the partners and staff just because the atmosphere was so inviting and personal. I hope that they have great success because my experience was great!

I brought my 2 year old pitbull here for the first time & once i got there after they did the initial check in the assistant informed me they muzzle ‘nervous’ dogs during the exam. Yes, my dog does get nervous but he has never snapped or bit anyone period! If thats their ‘policy’ they should inform you over the phone, especially if its a new pet thats never seen before.

The appointment I made with VCG was on schedule didn’t have to wait at all. While I was waiting Dr. Ma called tells me the details of my need and provided all my answers I have asked for on my dog and also ensuring that what I need to know going forward. It was quick, thorough and peaceful in mind that I can count on bringing Eli there in little neck VCG. I recommend!!!

I have been coming here since my dog was about a year old. So glad I found VCG and Dr. Ma. She is thorough, super patient with all of my questions and goes above and beyond to make sure my anxious dog is comfortable. The staff is excellent as well. They have gone out of their way to accommodate us and everyone we have encountered is very sweet and friendly.

Facilities are beautiful, clean and smell great! The staff treat each pet like their own. I appreciate the care and attention each staff member provides to each animal. Dr. Yee is a great vet, I like the way she handles pet care. The office management seems polite too. I haven't had always had good luck at the Westbury VCG (bad attitude that ended up delaying the fact that my dog has pannus) and since the Oyster Bay location has closed (they were superb!), I decided to go to Little Neck.

I now take my 5 dogs to this clinic. They are close to home for me but I am very happy with the exceptional care rendered at this hospital. The staff are very kind and and the Vets are extremely knowledgable and caring. I feel my dogs are in the best of care at this clinic. I am happy to have found them.

I visited this clinic for the first time on the recommendation of my friend. My dog is very nervous and the doctors and nurses are very patient and keep my dog relaxed. My dog had diarrhea on the spot, and the doctor she cleaned it up herself, which shocked me. I was very touched by their kind attitude.

Dr Ma is amazing! The staff at little neck location are all great. Their communication and follow-ups are 100%, its so on point! They make you feel like they're sincere and care about your pet, which is huge because I've been to plenty of other places where the experience can leave you feeling helpless.

Veterinary Care Group makes it very convenient to seeing a Vet when needed. They have several locations where there is a Vet on duty. I've been to 3 of their locations and found the staff to being very friendly and helpful.

My Dog was sick with a cough. I was able to send videos directly to the doctor and after review, they fit him in the next am. The Front desk, clinicians, and doctors are all professional work and very helpful
