Just over a month ago, I brought my twelve year old tall whippet, Divo, to Vets on Crown for dentistry work. The receptionist/nurse explained all the procedure options to me in depth. (So much depended on Divo’s dental examination, as certain teeth problems can only be found when a dog is anaesthetised on the table.) The nurse had the medical understanding of a veterinarian, or so it seemed to me from her detailed explanations. She was also very kind and had a winning way with my precious dog, Divo. At every point I felt considered, well informed, listened to, and able to make choices about the dental work needed with new understanding. The veterinarian himself, was brilliant. He did major work and removed several afflicted teeth and based his work on prior blood tests and mouth exploration, using very modern surgery facilities. He was also polite, kind and had an obvious love of animals and a keen dedication to their care. I found the cost quite reasonable and Divo was sent home with appropriate antibiotics and pain meds. I was encouraged to ring or come in anytime, should any problem occur post op. Dr Nima also saw Divo and checked on his progress after a few days, just to make sure of trouble free, post operation healing. I can gladly recommend Vets on Crown to anyone who loves their pet. This is the best vet hospital that I’ve found, and I’ve been to many. In fact, I cannot think of anything that could have been done better during my dog’s procedure. My Divo will now always have Vets on Crown as his medical centre. *. *. *. *. * After many good healthy years, my almost 16 year old tall whippet, Divo, was put to sleep by Dr Cheryl at ‘Vets on Crown’ on Friday morning 24/9/21. Divo suffered a sudden, systemic collapse and I had no option but to carry him to the clinic to seek help about ending his distress. I’d like to emphasize that veterinarian Dr Cheryl made time for me to see her in clinic, swiftly after my initial phone call. She agreed that my beloved whippet needed a merciful and assisted end to life. She treated both Divo and myself with compassion and understanding, and gave me the considerable time that I needed to say goodbye to my wonderful friend in the privacy of a consultation room. Meanwhile Dr Cheryl, at my request, organized all paperwork to take care of both the injection and the processing of Divo’s lifeless body thereafter. This enabled me to have further time with my beloved Divo right after he died. (I was so glad that he was made comfortable and his death was quick and painless.) Early completion of paperwork also ensured that I could leave the clinic swiftly afterwards and withdraw to grieve in the privacy of my own home. At all stages Dr Cheryl and the clinic staff were accommodating, caring and they genuinely felt for me amid my obvious distress. Thankfully, Dr Cheryl saw me through the whole process personally and her words of comforting wisdom were perfectly attuned to helping me through the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Her palpable empathy and her sheer compassion for an aged dog in crisis, informs me that Dr Cheryl is the best of human beings and Vets on Crown is the very best veterinary clinic possible. Simply outstanding.

Our pup has been attending the puppy school here, so when he began coughing and wheezing one day just before class, we took him to see one of the vets here rather than our regular vet, which we thought would be fine as we were under the impression that Vets on Crown had a great reputation. Oh, how wrong we were. The initial appointment seemed to go well, we received an overview of the problem and a prescription, but over the next week our pup did not improve. After a week of worrying about his health we took him to our usual vet (Southern Cross Vets in St Peters, who are fantastic, definitely recommended). This is when we it became apparent just how inadequate Vets on Crown are. Firstly, we were advised that Dr. Nima from Vets on Crown had administered in incorrect dosage of Doxycline; 50mg instead of 100mg, and 7 pills instead of 10, which is less than half of what is recommended by the manufacturer. Secondly, there were several tests that should have been done during the initial appointment to correctly diagnose his condition, none of which were even mentioned by Dr. Nima. I then called Dr Nima to discuss my concerns about the initial consultation, hoping for a reasonable and polite resolution, but once again was bitterly disappointed. At no point during the conversation did he acknowledge that it was possible he could have prescribed the incorrect dosage, going on to insinuate that it may be possible that he provided the wrong number of pills, but it was more likely that we had irresponsibly given our pup more than one pill per day. The misdiagnosis, the wrong prescription, the additional expenses we incurred, and even the week of worry we endured – all of these things are forgivable when a care provider is open and honest about having made a mistake. Ultimately the way in which he handled the situation, outright refusing to accept any responsibility or transparency for his mistake, then going on to call around various vet clinics to find our regular vet to justify his decisions in some sort of bravado fashion, that is what made us strongly feel so disillusioned with his services. All we wanted was quality care for our cherished pet, the hallmark of any good vet, and at no point did we receive that.

Went in for two vaccines at my pup's first visit which I told the receptionist when making the booking. When I arrived, I had to wait for over 20 mins while the staff were running in and out and finally told me what the issue was - they couldn't find his information and needed to do some 'investigating'. I had to tell them again that it was our first visit so they wouldn't have our information... once that was sorted the vet was still never in the room for more than 30 seconds - he kept going in and out so fast I could barely get a word in. Then he gave my puppy a vaccination but did it so aggressively/when my puppy wasn't ready that he was terrified and bled from the spot - this is NEVER happened, and he has NEVER been scared of needles. My pup then got 2 more shots and instead of letting him calm down, giving him treats they just grabbed him and stabbed him with the needles - he was absolutely terrified and was so distressed - he has always been good with shots and NEVER had any issues with needles. My pup needed to come back for a second booster shot and I thought I'd give them a second chance and try this vet again and bring my partner to make sure I wasn't imagining the bad service - my mistake. My puppy always gets an antihistamine shot before regular vaccines as he has had a bad reaction before - the vet knows this as it is in his files as he got the antihistamine shot last visit too. But yet again, the doctor was in and out - wasn't in the room for more than a minute and gave my pup his vaccination WITHOUT giving the antihistamine shot as they FORGOT...we had to go out the room and tell the receptionist that they had forgotten his antihistamine shot and so they quickly took him back in without us and gave him the shot saying he should be fine and reactions don't usually happen with this vaccination anyways. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional and disgusting service. My puppy has never been scared of needles, now he is terrified - I had scratch marks on my chest when he was trying to escape the table - and to forget a pre-vaccination antihistamine shot just shows how much attention the vets give - NONE.

I am concerned about the way that the pet hotel is run. After taking our four months old dachshund to Vets On Crown a few times, we expected that same care and attention for our puppy would be part of the pet hotel. The team were unable to give us written confirmation of our booking by email. We didn’t know what to expect or what to bring along with our puppy. This led to us making a number of enquiries, often with different staff members giving us different information. We were told that there would be a “pet attendant” taking care of our puppy. A four month old puppy should not be left alone for longer than four hours. On the Sunday we were due to check in, the staff told us that he would be fed dinner at 5:30pm. Much earlier than we feed him. We asked if the “pet attendant” could feed him later. The staff told us there is nobody on site until 7:30am the following morning. We were distressed at the thought of our puppy being unattended for so many hours. Why were we not told this earlier? Why were we told there would be a “pet attendant” taking care of him? The website boasts of “premium care under the direct supervision of our senior veterinarians in a safe and comfortable environment.” I feel we have been misled to believe our puppy would be supervised and we could “enjoy a guilt-free time away.” When I complained about the unprofessional way the booking was made we were told one of the staff would take our puppy home for the night. By the time we were offered this we had lost all faith in the care and attention that would be given to our puppy. We cancelled our week away as we were no longer comfortable with the staff and their conflicting stories. We are now out of pocket over $1500. This could have been avoided if your team had sent us written confirmation of the service and set clear expectations for us. I have asked to speak with the owner or manager about my concerns, yet nobody has contacted me. I have also asked for my puppies medical history to be emailed, which has also not been actioned. All up, this has been an incredibly disappointing experience.

We took our Great Dane puppy here for her first year of care. Almost every visit was a different vet. At our last consultation, our healthy pup was prescribed antibiotics for a supposed infection before any test results had come back. She immediately broke out into red hives with horrible itching from the first 7 days of antibiotics. It failed to clear up the supposed infection and the vet said perhaps he hadn't considered her size in only prescribing 7 days and then prescribed another 2 weeks. Ever since our pup finished 21 days of these antibiotics (which never resolved the infection discharge issue) she has been absolutely miserable with rashes, hives, full body itching, hair loss, scabs-- just horrendous. She had mild allergies before this but nothing to this intensity. We've had to take her to a dermatologist specialist for help. The point is, our pup was healthy and happy before 21 days of antibiotics were recommended by this vet and these have basically destroyed her. Since then I've researched how antibiotics can exacerbate low level allergies and completely screw up dogs' gut health. Great Danes already have such highly sensitive stomachs-- all of this has been a total nightmare for our girl. We've changed vets and it turns out a simple cleaning solution was all that was needed to resolve the original discharge concern and all this hell our dog (and bank account) have been through could have been completely avoided. (The Christmas tree photo is what our healthy girl's tummy looked like 2 days before the antibiotics.)

I am disappointed on the customer experience Vets on Crown Pet Hotel had provided us last weekend. I put my french bulldog puppy at the Vets on Crown Pet hotel for the first time last weekend for 2 nights because my husband and I had a wedding we had to attend to. Before making the appointment, I called them and asked if it's ok for me to bring his food because he is on a raw diet, and the receptionist said yes. So I have packed portioned raw food for 2 nights in wrapped in dried ice. I told them that's for 2 nights, morning and night. When arrived, they asked me to fill in a form, took the bag for food and said yes we have fridge here, and took our dog. When asked if I could see the area where they put the dog, the receptionist said there are many dogs there and I could see the photos of the area instead. Their website clearly said 'Stop by for a tour'. Anyway, picked our dog today, they returned the bag I used to wrapped the meat with dried ice. Came home, and found out there are still 3 raw meat package in the bag, that meant they only fed him the raw meat once. This is not an argument about feeding the dog dry food vs raw food. But an argument about customer service, I have asked and they said ok about bringing our own meal. However, not informed about the decision not to feed the meal later on. My husband and I had good expectations at the beginning as Vets on Crown was recommended by our friend, but we are disappointed with this experience.

I have called VOC a few times to try and retrieve my pets information, which staff repeatedly said would happen. The last time I called, a lovely lady said she would send it to me. (The information was not sent.) I decided to try again today. I was informed today by an (angry) man berating me on how sending my pets information to me is illegal, and I wouldn't understand it anyway. He went on to say that I was 'unprofessional' for not returning his emails or calls about this subject. I have not received any voicemails, or emails to date. I understand that there are regulations in place, which makes sense. It is my opinion that communicating this in a crass way (such as this man did) is condescending and unhelpful. The comments and tone of his voice was totally unnecessary. In my 'professional' opinion, (keeping in mind I have provided HR advice to businesses). Receiving conflicting information from staff is evidence of a greater problem. Perhaps staff do not agree with the ethos of the business. I can only (assume) this might be the case. I would like to be clear that the staff are very kind at this practice and we have generally received good care from the vets. This is not a witch hunt for VOC. However, the communication from this man today was totally unacceptable, and left me feeling very distressed. I have never been spoken to in this way, and I will absolutely not be returning to this clinic.

Disappointed I went there bc is near home and I saw good reviews. I have two aging dogs and I was looking for a vet that could take care of them. I went there to get medication for my dog with thyroid problems when in rang I mentioned I wanted help also scanning my dogs microchip as they just arrived to Australia weeks ago, their scan didnt work with either of my dogs. Vet ran labs on the dog dog with thyroid issues but he didn’t even look at the other dog And he only was talking about surgeries and issues of aging dogs and the need for additional vaccines when my dog were just vaccinated 1 month ago and also been to quarantine they wouldn’t have allowed them in the country without the full panel of vaccines And the worst part, they took my dog to take the blood samples and didn’t give her back until I paid the bill, their machine failed and they have to restart it and they didn’t give my dog back even when I asked where is my dog, they didn’t give her back until they saw the receipt paid, to me it seem that the only thing they care about is money Not coming back

Genuinely cannot say enough great things about this vet. My dog Winnie is 5, has always be a poorly dog and now has diabetes. After moving i now drive to Vets on Crown, as the vet in my new suburb wasn't the same standard. Yes they are not the cheapest (you'll need to go out west for that) but they are far cheaper than others in the area. Having been at the vets A LOT, i have encountered nearly all vets/nurses/receptionists and everyone is always lovely/genuinely accomodating to your needs. When costs got high they always go directly through my insurance (often very last minute), always call with updates, offer me options, never pressure me to get further testing and offer me options around my budget. They are always on the end of the phone, call to check in and i'm 100% confident in the care Winnie has received. They are a busy vet and have always made time to see Winnie (again often last minute). As someone that has unfortunately been at this vets for weeks at a time with a very poorly pup, and spent a fair bit of $$$, i truly advocate for them and their care.

I really wanted to give this vet a better review. However, I have been consistently disappointed with the service. The vet tables are often dirty, still with fur from the previous animal on there. My kitten displayed signs of ringworm the day AFTER a vet visit here, and I am unsure but suspicious that she contracted it from the vet table. Further, she was prescribed antibiotics but the vet seemed hurried, and not really interested - he didn't even tell me how many doses to give per day (until I asked) and then somehow only prescribed me 1 week worth of medication, even though my kitten required 3 weeks worth. Didn't tell me that there was not enough, didn't call me to come back and get more medication, so she went 1 week without any medication and now has to spend an extra 2--3 weeks in isolation (when it could have just been 2). Not sure what the miscommunication was, but feel like the attention to detail/attention and care to animals is lacking.

They sent my dog home almost dead and told me he was fine. My 11 month old puppy couldn't stand, drink water or eat food and they shocked me with a $1,500 bill and handed my dog back, with the owner telling us the following day the reason for this is they were closing and the Vet needed to go home. How can I give zero stars? Two of their vets didn't pick up on three tics on my small cavoodle. I took him in twice over a long weekend and, despite his symptoms progressing to paralysis, they released him back to me charging me over $2,100 total for the two days of terrible treatment. Thankfully I ignored their advice and took him to another vet. If I listened to them he would not have survived. Post this ordeal I am thousands of dollars out of pocket, with my dog spending 5 days in intensive care. They provided no foresight to their fees on the second day when I was fronted with the $1500+.

My little dog broke her tail and the service at Vets on Crown has been amazing! They worked with me over several weeks to try and correct the issue with splinting and when that didn't work they helped me make an informed decision about partial amputation. They comforted me when I was upset, and gave Ginny so much love and attention that she still loves going there, despite everything she's been through. When one of her bandages flew off 30 mins after being refreshed, they even came and collected her from home to fix it immediately, as I was frantic trying to attend an important work meeting. Amazing service and great communication too. Despite numerous vets having to treat Ginny over the 6 weeks, they always communicated well with each other and gave consistent advice. They also checked if I already had certain medications so as not to over charge me. Highly recommend!

I have been taking my dog Popeye to VoC almost since the day they first opened their doors and they have never disappointed. Dr Nima and his crew are so unbelievably warm and generous with their time, they always give the one on one care needed. I have been to a few vets in the Surry Hills area and have always felt like any other client, but whether it's just a quick check up, a groom by the supreme Tomo (the most amazing groomer ever!) or an eventful day of doggy day care, VoC are second to none in service. Thank you so much for being so attentive, honest, and quite simply, caring team around. Always being so willing assist at the drop of a hat is hard to come by these days! Keep up the great work and dedication, so very much appreciated! Just thought i'd add a little bit of evidence, Popeye exhausted after a day of playing and painting at day care

  • william pires

Very disgusting clinic, greed is their motto. My mum paid to get a few lumps checked out on the dog. In the consultation they gave her a figure which she couldn't afford at the time (she's a pensioner) so she saved the money and called them back once she had enough to pay . Now they are trying to slug her with another consultation fee because it's been longer then one month. We already know what needs to be done , the dog needs to be induced and a sample taken. Yet they are trying to charge a 62 year older pensioner a fee which is nothing but revenue raising at the sacrifice of a pensioners tiny income. Shame on youse. I've been in this community for over 29 years and I will make sure to spread the word of the greediness and lack of remorse that my Mother had to endure from you guys.

  • Kasia Mocha

We are quite happy with Mocha's spay surgery at the Vets on Crown. She recovered very quickly and was her happy self on the first evening after the spay. She wasn't wobbly/sick, ate her dinner and the wound looked smaller than we expected. Overall great experience with vets, everything was well explained, Mocha's needs taken into consideration, early drop-off was accomodated. I would give five starts if not our last post-surgery appointment from today. We had two big dogs running at us at the reception. It would be much nicer if I didn't have to pick up my dog and cover her with my own body (twice) listening to the anxious recalls from receptionists/nurses/vets. To be fair, I was apologised and asked if i am ok but it made me a bit uncomfortable. Thank you for looking after Mocha.

  • Nishat Saleri

These people charged me $37 for a $7 eye ointment and $69 for a $13 medicine! And even denied refund when requested. They are the most unethical cheats. Take your pet here if you’ve got money lying around with you for no use as that’s what they think you have. They feed on scaremongering! I took my cat in for an eye problem, but they convinced me she has a major teeth/gum problem, got her admitted for “further testing” and charged me $600!! The teeth problem didn’t turn out to be a big deal and no diagnosis for the eye problem for which I went there in the first place. Instead, they just gave me an eye ointment at 5 times the price which I could’ve gotten at any pharmacy!! The most unethical vets I’ve ever encountered in my life. Shame on such practices.

  • Jie Gao

270 dollars for nothing, less than 5mins of consulting with the doctor, a small 15ml of medicine that’s not enough to use and making the infection even worse.... a nurse gets mad about can’t get the Elizabeth collar because she’s not even doing it right, spending 10 mins talking to my cat that he should not get the collar off and it falls off right after I walk out the vets door... I did it myself for only 5mins (I think I might be a better nurse??) I’m totally happy to spend 270 dollars to fix my cats ear infection, but for this vet, it’s 270 dollars down in the toilet. First time and the last time. If anyone see this comment and wanting to go, 100% expect to wait for 20-30 mins and spend tons of money for 5mins of consultation.

  • Lisa Shen

My dog came in with a fractured tooth and the lovely team here were able to extract it on the same day. Emily was the veterinarian who did my dog’s procedure and during our conversation I had complete trust because of her honesty and genuine care about my dog’s wellbeing. Unlike other vets I’ve been to, she did not try to push unnecessary charges/medication and explained all the costs involved. The lady at reception is lovely and it’s such a bonus when you walk in on your dog being showered with affection from the nurse. The clinic here is very spacious and facilities seemed modern in comparison to others. The price was also very reasonable. This isn’t my usual vet, however I will be switching. Thanks for the wonderful service!

  • Patricia Zuccon

As an owner of 4 dogs I am very careful to select the right veterinarian for the care of my little babies. New to the area, I did my research on practices, their services they provide, price and equipment on site. I was won over by Vets on Crown their prices are affordable compared to most and it was here I met Dr Cheryl Chan. Cheryl was amazingly warm and attentive to my dogs needs and mine also. She was patient, asked every question possible and was not rushed to get me in and out like most vets I’ve visited in the past. Rest assured that you and your pet will get the best of care in her hands. I was put at ease and my dogs cared for with the utmost of care. Vets on Crown are amazing!!! Thank you

  • Kieran Gianoudis

Took my puppy in to be checked for excessive vomiting. The vet that saw us was basically clueless and had no idea about what method of action to take. I told the vet that the vomiting hasn't stopped for about 2 days, at which point he said an injection would be required. This vet ended up bending the needle in my dogs skin and kept persisting on getting this injection done, even after the needle was bent. My dog was shaking profusely and was absolutely terrified of the vet. Now my dog is absolutely petrified of needles. Can't even take him for a simple canine cough injection which should be painless. I wouldn't recommend this vet at all due to the negligence shown in that consultation.

  • James Kelly

This is the worst vet. They charge huge prices for medication that isn’t indicated, and upsell everything. The vet rooms are often dirty. I took my dog for a rash that wasn’t itchy, and I realised after the consult that they had given her an injected for a medication to help with itch that cost $130. They called me a few days later and I complained, and I asked whether the rash was bacterial or viral, and they couldn’t answer. The vet notes were later requested and the information documented records the vet as saying “don’t bother telling the client anymore because he’s going to another vet”. Totally unprofessional, I’d avoid at all costs, unless you’re totally desperate.

  • Chanel Holgate

Have seen my cat before, he has been suffering on and off for 4 years and they would not prescribe his painkiller which he usually has during the middle of COVID-19 lockdown. My little one was crying this morning so I rang them but they informed me they couldn't do it without another check up and I told them I've been laid off temporarily like most people so I dont have the money temporarily. I told them i did not have the money and asked if they were going to let him suffer to which the receptionist replied "sorry". If they truly cared for animals they would have tried to do more, they didn't tell me any alternative services, etc Not happy with their service at all

  • Gavin Collins

AVOID - extremely overpriced. It just shocks me how these city vets think that they can charge people absurd amounts! My dog had a small cut on his paw which just needed a bandage and some antibiotics just incase of infection. Vets on crown - quoted price $900. ( consultation, bandage, one stitch, and antibiotics) Laughable. My eyes nearly popped out of my head. I went and got a second opinion from a different Vet. Pendle Hill Vet - $140 for (consultation, bandage and antibiotics) no stitches required. I will never step foot back into this vet or any vet in the city. I should get a refund for the $89 consultation total waste of time. Avoid avoid avoid

  • Jess

Poor service, only about charging a fee for nothing. I've been taking my dog to this clinic for years, spent a lot of money. I took my dog there for a simple nail cut and was told that she needed a consult immediately for an infection. There was no infection. My dog needed another course of medication for the same problem she's had for years and they refused to give another course without seeing her first. It's purely just to make money. She would have only been there for the tine it would take to get the medicine yet I would be charged a consult fee just for that. I will be now going to another ve from now on.

  • H H

Unfortunately quality of service has significantly deteriorated here. Last time we booked a week in advance and cancelled our own plans to make sure we are there on time. We checked in and sat in the visitation room waiting for 50 minutes trying to comfort a cat freaked our by all the dogs barking and the strong smell left from not cleaning after the dogs. Nobody attended to us, eventually left after about an hour or so past our appointment time as the vet didn't even bother to come around and say explain what's going on or when they would see us.

  • Nasim Asadi

Vets on the Crown staff are extremely helpful and professionals. Dr Nima is goddess and most knowledgeable Vet whom just wont waste time but quick to know and identify the source and solution to any issues your pet may have. therefore you just know your loved fury friend is in a good hand with Dr Nima and his team.... I would travel miles if I have to but I wont be taking my fury friends anywhere else as i know that is one place they be taken care of beyond exceptional high level of standards and love from the team working there .

  • Anna NMA

My pup had been ill for over a year and the previous vets at St Peters could not work out what it was. However moving to Vets on Crown, the immediate attention the staff and the vet gave to my little one was amazing and in a few weeks were able to find a diagnosis which could have left him in a critical condition as he already had AP. He was diagnosed with ME, a rare condition and Dr Nima has been super attentive and great with giving us the right medication and advice. Really glad we came here and would highly recommend them :)

  • Sahara Louise

This practice had decided to perform a non-necessary procedure that killed a French bulldog puppy. The receptionist and the surgeon did so in a rush, without proper care or consent of the owner. This place is a disgrace, and pet owners must be made aware of what happened here, you're entering at your own risk and that of your babies. Upsetting beyond words. Can we, please put an end to practicing veterinarians who place profits before care of our pets???

  • Keira Rugless

AVOID THIS VET My friends dog nearly died because they didn’t perform a quick, simple and cost less “tick” check. Visited them twice over 2 days- where they happily carried out over $2000 worth of unnecessary procedures and kept sending her home with a dog that was clearly very sick- telling her nothing was wrong. Her dog became so poisoned it was paralysed. She took her dog to a different vet, where they immediately found 3 ticks. DO NOT USE THIS VET.

Best Vets in Sydney. My sweet baby Beau ended up with bladder stones the day before my trip to Thailand. My boarding host Puppy Playground in Zetland referred me to them. I feel so fortunate. They took the greatest care... My only concern is that he may have a hard time adjusting to me... He was spoiled and I am so thankful. Thank you Vets on Crown. You guys are wonderful. Beau is officially part of the Vets on Crown family and I couldn't be happier.

  • Glenn Davis

Highly recommended! Dealt with five team members from booking, drop-off, to pickup, all were friendly, helpful and highly professional. Left us feeling very conformable our 1yo staffy would be well looked after, and she was! She was very happy, and very tired from the socialisation, slept like a baby that night! Boarding rates are very good and having the vets available is a huge convenience too. Well done team for delivering an exceptional service.

  • Monique Elliott

Dr Nima and his team are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They should be commended on their approach to care and attention to detail on all animals in their care. Dr Nima always has time to answer any questions or concerns no matter how busy he may be and deserves recognition for his hard work. I would recommend Vet on Crown to anyone looking for a highly professional vet to take care of their best friends. Thanks again Dr Nima and team!

  • Mauricio Saracho

Took my puppy after he had been having gastro issues on and off. Previous vet treated him with antibiotics but did not run a secondary test afterwards to see if it had cleared as they thought it wouldn’t be necessary. Well, he got sick again and that’s when I took him to Vets on Crown who did fecal test which came back with not only the same bug he had before but another 2! After 17 days on antibiotics followed by repeat tests it is now cleared

  • Makayla Lillyst

Couldn’t recommend enough as they have gone above and beyond for us in their services. The Vets are fantastic, but the vet nurses are who really make the team with their warm welcomes and friendly service. My dog is a rescue from an abusive background and hates visiting the vets with a passion. They always accommodated her despite her defensiveness and were always understanding, helpful and highly professional.

  • Cecil Williams

To be honest, read the mixed reviews. The staff are friendly enough but this vets is clearly overworked. My poor pup was throwing up, he had his samples taken. It took over a week and day to get the results (and this was after having to constantly call and remind them that we haven't had our results). I get the impression that they are overwhelmed because the customer service is shocking.

every visit Ive paid 1000 per cat nomally. the maximum I paid was 2400 in 10min. anyway, My cat died. even I paid whatever they want to. on the 17th of april 2019,our beautiful "Bubby" who had been suffering from diabetes for a while, suddenly passed away. She was 17 yrs old,and it hurts us both so much. The staff at this Vets were amazing,so caring and loving. Staff members were crying with us,as we said our goodbyes. Bubby will now be cremated and brought back home to us.Amazing and Caring Staff.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMER!!! They charge 145 dollars for a vaccine when everwhere else is 45 to 60 dollars!!! Also, they try to charge more money by making up that your pup needs other stuff when in reality he doesnt!!! BEAWERE!!!! REPORT THEM!!! this people shoulnd be in business and MUST be reported by more people as possible!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!! BEWARE!!!!!!!

  • Jess

The vets I’ve seen have been perfectly pleasant but they have under-quoted and over-charged me on every occasion (from routine vaccines to day procedures). I changed vets and they ignored the requests to send over my dog’s file. Beware — these people are motivated by nothing more than money! Do your research before you take your pet here!

  • Xavier Masson-Leach

Had an amazing experience here when our family dog had to go in for surgery - had taken her in for boarding a few times and always really happy with the service but the level of care during the surgery was exceptional. Dr Nima really put our minds at ease and took care to explain everything clearly. Cindy is recovering well, thank you!

  • Martin Klnp

They are all about money. Wanted to buy medicine for my dog and they sayd they will not give it to me unless i bring my dog so they could charge consultation fee even tho i know exactly what we need as weve bought it before for same problem. Clearly money is more important than dogs health. Ill be changing my vet after this bulsht.

  • Georgina Kinsella

I have a large husky that sheds like crazy and finding a good husky groomer has been difficult. The groomer at Vets on Crown is just amazing and I haven't looked back. She spends almost an entire day getting rid of my dogs old coat and keeps her calm and happy during the entire experience! Highly recommend for husky owners!

  • D Mason

DON'T GO HERE. They care more about money than the well-being of pets. Would not sell me a few single cans of prescription pet food - insisted I buy a WHOLE tray! I cant afford it, this stuff is v. expensive, I can only buy a few cans at a time. So now my pet suffers until my regular vet opens. Shame on you money grubbers.

  • Armsby Fit

Very helpful staff members there, not only did they give a great service with all the jabs with the least amount of stress, they also looked after him when I needed the toilet whilst walking my pup. They did a quick visual exam to make sure he is healthy and let me use their toilet XD great treatments and great staff.

Cheers Dr Rhami does his best for me and Choo Choo who is 12 and is going great thanks to all staff at crown st vets who help me as well as my pet,

  • DJ D-FLAT

I want to commend and personally thank Wendy and Bronween (and the team) for the brilliant work they did yesterday (Sunday). The dedication, care and personal touches will never be forgotten and I will recommend you to all of my friends in the future. The best vet clinic EVER!!! See you again. Damien

  • K Seale

Not a great experience at all, second visit for follow up vaccine but as walking in there was a very upset guy, yelling at them abt treatment of his dog. I've to go there to get second part of vaccine but not happy and very hesitant too. Always trust Ur gut feelings not what seems great ratings.

  • tina robellet

I always have a great experience going to Vets on Crown. Amazing people, they really take time to listen to you and understand your pet's needs. My dog also loves to go to daycare there as well and has plenty of playtime with other dogs. Loving and caring team, I highly recommend this clinic.

  • Nancy McDonald

We are so grateful to Dr Luke and the team at Vets on Crown for taking such good care of our little Virgil. He came in so sick, with gastro and pancreatitis (diagnosed by Luke) he's now entirely on the mend after such great care from Dr. Luke, the best advice and support. Forever grateful! x

  • Stephen Parker

The worst experience I have ever had at a veterinary. Seen this vet twice to cure our little dogs rash and they couldn't diagnose the issue. Paid $500 for treatment that didn't work. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. Riley is the name of our dog. He is a Basenji. His owners are Ben and Stephen.

  • Daniel Biegler

Great service and very friendly staff. Will definitely use again, we had a great experience when we brought our dog in for a check up when he wasn’t acting himself - turned out to be nothing major but the vet and staff helped us feel more comfortable from the moment we brought him in.

  • Miss Vavae

Me and my partner found this adorable cat outside our apartment this morning! We took him to Vets on Crown and they took care of him. I was very very suprised at how caring the staff were towards the cat. I was grateful to the staff for their help. Great job guys! Keep it up!

  • Negar T

The waiting time here gets longer and longer to the point that the last time we had to wait 45 minutes only to leave without being able to see a vet. They don't value customers' time and the rooms are messy with syringes and other stuff lying around from previous visits.

  • Emma Woodford

Excellent vets. Caring and attentive staff for our furry family. I am always impressed with the vet care here. Vet Michael was extremely thorough and caring when he recently assessed our diabetic cat. I always feel confident that my furry family has excellent care here.

  • Nick Marshall

Great Vet, even when they are busy they will take the time to show that they care for the animals that come through the door. Although Penny is often nervous for the vet, she has been getting more confident every time thanks to the care of the professionals here.

  • Andrew Sroufe

Love the VoC team! Our older pup Milo literally bounds up the stairs when we go for a check-up, something he's never done with other vets! Plus he gets loads of attention and play time when boarding, love how the team always sends us photos when he's "at camp!"

  • Daisy Payne

a HUGE thank you to the Vets On Crown Team. They have been so helpful and friendly over the last week. They have answered every inquiry, and been so willing to assist me. I really appreciate all their help and would recommend this vet to everyone! Thanks again.

  • Heidz Haydon

Just lovely, wonderful caring staff. Thank you for making a heartbreaking situation so calm we are so thankful. For those wondering, there is wheelchair access just on the side of the building. Looks deceiving with the steps but access is all good.

  • Clare M

I recently used Vets on Crown through looking after a friend’s dog who was a patient there. I was very impressed by, and grateful for, both the compassion and professionalism shown by the vets (Luke, Marnie and Madeleine) and all of the

  • India Childs

I had a great experience at crown st vet. My dog was sick and had to come in a few times & the service was excellent. I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog in Dr Nima’s care. Super friendly nurse too. Would definitely recommend

  • Bahareh Dalaie

Couldn't be more happier and satisfied with their great service , if my dog is still alive and healthy is just because of Nima and his great team effort. The price was absolutely reasonable and got much more service than I paid.

  • Liela Vergara

The vets are excellent, my dogs have always received excellent treatment from Dr Nima and Dr Michael. The nurses including Lisa, and all staff are very friendly and provide excellent care. Highly recommend their services.

  • Nancy Alexander

Have been trying to find a good inner-city vet for years. Vets on Crown are fantastic. Everyone from the vets to the office staff are so lovely, kind and caring AND they're fees are not outrageous - highly recommended.

  • Michael Poulos

Cannot recommend this place highly enough, Nima and his team are amazing, it has daycare for our little puppy, they even have the best groomer in Sydney plus puppy school. Everything you need is under the one roof!

  • Kristin Sutter

Our shih-tzu, Milo stayed here and they took great care of him. Sent us photos, took him on plenty of walks and he was happy, healthy and CLEAN when we picked him up as they gave him a bath for free as well!

  • Jake Gorey

Professional and friendly, great service. Had an issue with my pup and received excellent and in depth advice over the phone from his vet, James, who knew my puppy by name and helped me out. Top notch

  • Mitchell Kelly

Went in for a simple stomach issue for my cat. They ran a test and gave us no solution - $600 later. This place is overpriced for what I consider very unhelpful professional service. Avoid if you can.

  • Brian Webber

If you own a pet and live in the city, this is the best vet to go to. They have helped me and my dog for years now. They also have an in-house groomer. Hands down the best vet this side of the bridge.

  • Kathleen M Dalton

lovely & casting. helped a friend who's cat was very unwell. The decision was to put Olly boy out of his suffering. Extremely kind towards my friend who couldn't afford the bill. Helped her. big time

  • Anastasiya Shefer

  • Benxeta

Head Veterinarian said a lump on my dogs neck was normal, few weeks later lump grows and swollen bigger on one side. They will take all your money and tell u you should pay for more.

  • Florence

Pro: high availability for appointment if you need an after hours booking. Cons: consistency, each time I visited the vet, I got a different vet. Expensive and always try to upsell.

  • mike bahari

This veterinary clinic is absolutely amazing! The vet Dr Nima is the most beautiful person I have come across when dealing with my Border Collies :) thank you so much!!

  • Fiona C

We can only pay gap bill which is so great!!! They can call insurance and tell us exact amount we should pay, and they do the rest, let the insurance pay their share.

  • Sneha D

Long waits, gave us prognosis that scared us until our regular vet confirmed no surgery was needed. The vet himself was great and kind and nice to the puppy.
