I visited the Walgreens on Charlotte pine in Nashville 1/12/2020 and went to check out. The online coupons from the app weren’t all working. Issue one. Then I said forget it I’ll use what’s working and I had a paper 20% off coupon that I got earlier in the week that expired 1/12/2020. I was fine with using what online coupons worked and the 20% off. Then the manager can over voided the whole transaction and the 20% off coupon no longer worked. She told me there was nothing she could do and I had to pay full price. There was no way to add the 20% off that I MEVER USED and she had in her hand. There were no possibilities to override it either. The store employee who originally helped me (much nicer and considerate, might I add) just said give a certain discount because it was store/employee error. The manager would not do that and said the only way to make it work is to give me items for free but that would mess up their inventory and she couldn’t do that. I will NEVER shop at a Walgreens again after the lack of management, respect, understanding and most importantly customer service. All while there was a long line of customers and they didn’t have anyone else helping. Completely unprofessional and wrong. Poor management and even worse company values if this is how you train employees. Will be posting this to the public web as well.
I have got to find a new pharmacy because no one who works at this location seems to care about anything except going on break and ignoring customers. The past two times have had to use this pharmacy they have forgotten that I was even waiting. Last night was the absolute worst because I had to wait for two hours because they kept insisting they sent my prescription to another Walgreens when I had already picked up that particular prescription and my doctor had called in what I was picking up at this particular Walgreens. They wouldn’t listen; even when my doctor’s office called and we kept telling them that the prescription they think we’re talking about had already been picked up and was a completely different medication! Then they kept delaying my script saying I had an issue with my insurance when I told them twice I was using a GoodRx card. A prescription I was told would take 20 minutes took two hours and it was ridiculous. Didn’t even apologize either. I only go here because no one else seems to carry this particular medication so I have no choice but to use them but I would do anything to find somewhere else to go! You should too! Avoid this place!!
I am constantly disappointed with the service that I receive in the pharmacy department. The staff is usually extremely rude. They never know how to accurately quote your wait time when filling a prescription (for example, I dropped off an Rx from my doctor and was quoted 20 minutes, after an hour I walked up to the counter to ask how much longer and was told that I was forgotten about and it would be another 20 minutes). They ***CONSTANTLY*** tell me there is an issue with my insurance, but when I take my insurance elsewhere there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. Considering that I processed health insurance for a living, I know my benefits through and through. God forbid you go through the drive thru and have to deal with the rude woman who cuts you off before you finish your sentence. I've stayed at this location for about a year due to the convenience of location in reference to my home, but will confidently say that after picking up my prescription I will never return. I don't understand why it is so hard to practice basic customer service skills.
I went to the store at 4:30pm yesterday. There were two cashiers at the front. I had a couple items in the buggy. I proceeded to checkout, one of the cashiers she was tall, lightskin girl with Beyoncé lemonade braids, and young. She checked me out, not only did she shove all of my items into two bags(the bags were so full that they could break), remind you i have a decent amount of items in my buggy. I left my buggy right next to the checkout area because my hands were full of the two heavy bags that she shoved all my items into. As I’m walking out She proceeds to ask me to push the buggy to the buggy area seeing me struggle with my two bags. Which in my eyes i felt like i shouldn’t have had to push the buggy back especially with a bagful of items & her and the coworker were sitting there not doing anything. As i struggled to push the buggy her and her co worker proceeded to make a comment and snicker at me. Terrible customer service i will never return there again, I’m calling the manager to discuss their poor customer service. Please don’t go there.
OMG literally, the employees there are extremely rude, I stopped there at 7:55 am 5 mins before they opened not knowing this I walked in and the cashier told me I needed to wait outisde while she was there gossiping with another coworker. I leave & come back during my 10 min break from a course I was taking 1 block away. I stop at the pharmacy and a tall white male employee in his late 20's (not sure if he's a pharmacist) was very unpolite and rude. While waiting for my prescription I asked him if he had an electric thermometer & at first he said no, then he took one out from right under the counter & said "this one, oh no well these aren't really accurate" & he placed it right back & ignored me. These people have absolutely no manners!!!!! I'm from Texas and I was shocked at how horrible the employees are at many of the establishments. Walgreens management needs to go undercover and check on the people they are paying!!
I went to the pharmacy to pick up my rx and I was supposed to have 90 pills but when I got them I only had 66 pills and the pills wasn't filled to the top and it was the skinny bottle, which if you put them in a skinny container it should be all the way filled to the top. Brea was the floater pharmacist and she stated the count was right, so what happened to my other 24 pills? Someone must have put them in their pockets... that's why the count was right. I bet I'll count them before I leave from now on...spread the word to count your pills. I reported the incident to my doctors office and they said its not the first time this has happened, they've heard of several incidents... so count your pills before you pull off in the drive through or if you go inside before you leave the counter!!!
Literally, the worst pharmacist in the area. I keep giving them chances, but they fail each time. Clueless, often rude, and disorganized with unwarranted wait times. Read the other reviews. I am still waiting for a prescription they neglected to fill properly 3 weeks ago. Despite being sick and coming directly from my doctor, they just do not care...period. Fortunately, I recovered without it, but I am placing a call to my doctor to complain. My wife called this afternoon at 12 pm for a simple pre-packaged box of birth control pills. "It will be ready at 3 pm," they said. At 3:30... still waiting and only 1/3 of the prescription was filled. Utter incompetence. PLEASE consider taking your business elsewhere. I am told the new CVS near Green Hills mall is fast and friendly. My next stop.
Went to Walgreens 04707 Charlotte. Pharmacist directed me to James for assistance with unlocking the med cabinet. When I approached James for assistance, he pretended not to hear me. I spoke louder & he continued to ignore me. When I told him what I needed he told me it was on the other aisle. I stated I was told to ask him to unlock the cabinet & he insisted he wasn't a pharmacist. Obvious to me, because he didn't look qualified/intelligent enough to do anything other than what he was doing...stocking the shelf. After going back & forth about needing the cabinet unlocked, he still delayed assisting me. James is unprofessional, rude & ugly inside & out. He definitely has a bad attitude & should not be in customer service. Avoid the rudeness & spend your money at another Walgreens.
Just left here and I would give Marcus 0 stars if I could. As I enter store he's checking out the employee from previous shift who I spoke to and know. I go down drink aisle and grab my Reign's. Go to milk cooler and grab my milk. As I turn around he bends over quickly to pretend he's moving items around. Knowing good and well he must think I'm trying to steal something. If I wasn't half asleep I would have called hin out on it. I've been shopping here several times a week and paying for everything I get since before you were born Marcus. Don't quit your night job because you wouldn't make it as a detective. Also, while you were away from register watching me someone could have taken something from the front of store.
Not all, but most of the staff at this pharmacy is unprofessional, impatient, and/or rude. The unwelcoming and cold nature of their team is honestly more sad than anything else. I’d say 6 out of 10 visits turn into some sort of an event (they forget to fill the prescription, make an abrasive comment, etc.). And sadly, my 2 star review is the highest rating they’ve ever received... It appears to be a training and/or management issue because the concept of customer service has been completely lost. It should also be noted that I’m writing this poor review while having a good day, but when it’s a pattern that’s never changed (3ish years) - it’s necessary.
Pharmacy staff is definitely subpar. They are rude and not at all helpful. On my last visit, I arrived to find the prescription refill that I had called I in two days earlier. The pharmacy tech was rude in telling me that I'd have to wait 30 minutes. I waited in eyesight of the counter for a full hour. When I returned to the window and asked the tech (a different one) if my meds were ready she huffed and puffed before checking only to tell me they didn't have it in stock. I didn't get so much as an apology. If you have the option to go to another pharmacy, do it. This one is horrible.
Be very careful if you think that Walgreens is a discount pharmacy and store. I purchased a small bottle of OTC pills one evening (the store is very close to us). Upon getting home I realized that I had paid too much. Walmart had the pills for less that $5.00. I paid $16.99 at Walgreens, over 300% more. Since I had already taken some of the pills, rather than take them back to the store, I went online and filed a complaint. They said there's nothing they would do about it. Consider Walgreens to be a 'convenience store'. You're going to pay big because of their 'corner store' location.
Rude edgy pharmacists in person and over the phone. Nothing worse than these types of employees??? Where is the management??? Do you just let your employees talk to customers any way they want?? Rude pharmacists wouldn’t tell me if they carry buprenephrine over the phone, and then the pharmacist told me that my doctors office forgot to put information on the prescription when it was printed right there in small lettering!!! Maybe if she wasnt so concerned with getting out of work she would have seen it!! Literally went right down the road and got it filled no problems!!
Honestly, this is the worst walgreens I have ever been to. I've been transporting a cancer patient and the staff in the pharmacy are always extremely rude. They're consistently out of stock. The people who run the drive through window AND indoor pickup are rude every single time. It never fails. People are visiting the pharmacy during a difficult time in their life. Nobody wants to be sick and nobody wants to go pick up their meds when they aren't feeling well. The staff in the pharmacy has zero empathy....or respect. If you can, go elsewhere.
If I could give it a negative star rating I would the employees here don't care about their jobs or the customers and like to lie to customers. Closing the store early because you don't feel like working ten more minutes that you are scheduled to work. Funny how you said your system is down when you are literally running a customers credit card for payment as you say that...what kind of person raised these kids, not one with values or morals thats for sure...maybe one day these kids will realize "YOU'RE NOT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING!"
Extremely upset with the inability to fill my prescription. I’ve been getting mine there for years and it wasn’t always simple. today all I asked was a question about my refill options. They somehow managed to cancel my prescription and said they’re not allowed to fill it anymore. So now I am unable to get my month supply of medicine! How is that they can get away with this? I am extremely upset and once I figure out how to get my prescription refilled, you can be certain I’ll be taking my business somewhere else.
Our cashier Briana was professional and sweet from the time we walked in the door until checkout. The bad part is that I had to deal with a very unprofessional and rude manager by the name of Quen. In the 20+ years of shopping with Walgreens I've never dealt with anyone...especially a "MANAGER" who after addressing my issues and concerns was told, "Well if you don't like my attitude then you don't have to come back." Needless to say I will be contacting the corporate office to let them know what happened.
First off, Walgreens employees needs to stop yelling at patients and customers. Secondly I haven't had 1 pleasant experience at this pharmacy or store and every month they are disrespectful regarding my prescription and they laugh when they refuse to give me all of my meds in the time I am suppose to receive them. They are incompetent, rude, disrespectful and none of them clearly like their job because they don't do it. PICK A BETTER PHARMACY AND STOP SHOPPING AT WALGREENS. I plan to do the same.
Been purchasing all of my medication, and my children’s medication from Walgreens for the last 10 yrs or so. But after dealing with this Walgreens, i have decided to take my business elsewhere. Not only has Walgreens become one of the most expensive choices for prescription. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and show little care for their customers. Sad to see, what once was a trusted source, go so far downhill.
The cashiers can be a little testy. There’s one that works in the pharmacy who is really rude and short, almost has a prison guard attitude. Decent store, it’s located at a busy intersection so it can be tricky to get in and out of during peek hours. Watch out for beggars in the parking lot, they’ll chase you to your car. Lately this has been a lot better though so they do a decent job of keeping them out.
Whoever the cashier was there today a little after noon is a true angel. I went into a full mental breakdown due to something that happened before I walked in and started sobbing at the counter. She comforted me and said something I needed to hear in that moment. What would freak most people out or cause them to get awkward made her show her genuine compassion and love. GIVE HER A RAISE! ☺️
They never have your prescriptions ready. They get dialed in, and then "delayed". Every. Single. Time. And if you have two that need filled, good luck being able to get both in one trip. Inevitably you'll get there and they will realize they filled the wrong medication or some other nonsense. I've literally never encountered a more poorly run outfit than this pharmacy.
I called the pharmacy they answered and just said "hold on" put me on hold for 10 minutes and once they got on the phone they were not helpful at all, sounded annoyed with attitude, and I will no longer be bringing my business here. Sorry but customer service goes a long way, and I will not support a business that does not have any sort of good customer service.
The rudest pharmacy, I've ever been to. The chunky red head pharmacy tech, April, and the rest of the pharmacy employees should be fired and replaced. These are the most disrespectful and careless people that I've ever come in contact in a professional place. If you don't want to do your job, quit and go somewhere else!
Hands down the rudest pharmacy staff I have ever encountered. My family has filled prescriptions at Walgreens for several years, but we immediately switched to Publix after one trip to this Walgreens. The pharmacist I dealt with is a miserable individual. Walgreens shouldn't allow her to speak to any customers.
The pharmacy is always busy... Because they are the best in the area. I go out of my way to go to this Walgreens because of the pharmacy staff here. They are quick and friendly in my experience. The only times I've ever had to wait is when they were slammed in drive and in store, or had "needy" customers.
This pharmacy is absolutely horrible. My doctor accidentally sent my prescription here instead of to hermitage Pharmacy. Never once had an issue with my insurance or getting the prescription but all of a sudden Walgreens can not fill it. Waste of time. Horrible employees even worst pharmacists.
Glacial service. Seems to be a work culture problem. I considered commenting to one employee that the shelf stocking might go quicker if she stopped watching videos on her cell phone. I'm amazed this Walgreen's is able to stay in business. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
I visited the store today around 4:30pm the cashier they have up front was the most respectful and friendly person she told me she was new and was learning the register I must say she caught on quick for the 1st day keep up the good work Shanta you will be a GREAT MANAGER one day
I have been a customer for 12 years but in last year, service, products, and attitudes greatly declined. Don’t have medicines needed, staff rude and reprimand you for not calling in refills sooner. No attempts to explain or try to assist you. Have changed my prescriptions to CVS.
WORST AND SLOWEST Walgreens alive!!! Takes a good 30-45 min to get a medication. They usually have only one tech working the window line and the line inside and one pharmacist. I tried to give this place a shot about 4 times and it’s so unacceptable and will never resturn here
Got to the drive through for the pharmacy and had to wait 45 minutes. There were only TWO cars in front of me. There were 8 vehicles that came and left behind me, likely equally as frustrated. Finally get to the window and NO ONE IS WAITING IN LINE INSIDE. Workers are LAZY.
Pretty nice folks that work there. Always chipper and friendly. But with the exception of one person that works in the pharmacy, she's absolutely horrible, rude and I've had trouble EVERY time in I've been! Other than that, amazing place to stop, shop, and get your meds at
Called ahead to make sure they take passport photos. The automated message system said they do. When I arrived there was no one working In the photo department and there was a typed out note on the machinery that said “no passports available due to software issue”.
Absolutely the worst Walgreens ever!!! Rude staff who don’t care about you at all, ZERO customer service and please start way from their Pharmacy! Absolutely useless and unfriendly Pharmacist Samatha!! Who knows where she got her degree from! Looks uneducated!
I like Walgreens. I like a lot of their products too. I also find their staff friendly and helpful. Some of their sales, well I end up spending to much money but at this time of the year, I can always find stocking stuffers and or items for birthdays.
It's ok for a convenient store but the workers are so mean they are not friendly at all I wouldn't say all of them are mean but some if them are they act like they don't wanna be there idk who is training these people but they have bad attitudes
The clerk at the photo shop/fed ex return counter located at 5600 Charlotte Pike was so very helpful yesterday. She was patient and resourceful with the needs for all her customers. Employees like this is what I live for. She was courteous,
Several occasions where the pharmacy has been unhelpful, incompetent and lazy. They act annoyed at most questions and inconvenienced. Those are just a few reasons why I can see they have a poor review rating. CVS is prob the move.
Had a prescription sent there and after three days of hearing nothing from them, I call and they tell me they’re out of stock of what I needed. Didn’t even bother to help me find another pharmacist. Garbage.
The Pharmacy staff is very rude. The pharmacists judges ppl by what medications you are on. He made a remark to me one day as I was getting my meds and I thought that was very unprofessional! Bad business!
Made a vaccine appointment. Process vaccines through general pharmacy line and wait was >1 hour. Both pharmacist and tech were rude - on duty pharmacist especially. Would not recommend using this location.
Save your time and don’t come here. One of the worst staff EVER. nobody knew anything what they were doing. Extremely discourteous and rude staff. They need to hire educated staff. Not people from street.
THE slowest pharmacy I have EVER experienced in my ENTIRE life, the the worst attitude and lack of communication from a pharm tech that I have ever seen. Will never fill a prescription here again.
The best service of any national chain I have ever experienced. I was in this location twice today. Very helpful, friendly and with a smile on their face. Especially Aaron! Thanks so much!!!
Try to use my Walgreens card, the cashier very rude and give to me wrong answers when I ask couple cuestións, not mentioned wait for pay and the line cose she talk whith another co worker
Stephanie the shift leader was very helpful answered any question I had and made sure my experience was amazing glad to be served by her and will return anytime for that exact reason
Tabitha and Tarrus were both very nice. Clean store with tremendous selections of all the medicines, food, snacks, drinks, bathroom supplies you need. 5 stars
I have found the pharmacy staff to be courteous and helpful every time. Sometimes they are very busy, but they wait on people as soon as they can .
Walgreens pharmacy is the worst in the world. I will never have another script filled at any Walgreens after the experience I have had today.
Great selection of cosmetics, as well as normal pharmacy stock and small grocery selections. "As Seen on TV" stock is always fun!
Tried to get a passport pic. The young lady that was called up was extremely rude. Will not spend another dime in that store
The most arrogant, terrible group of people in the pharmacy I have ever encountered. They need to be replaced immediately.
Great store! Every time I come in the staff are always very friendly! Also, the place is consistently clean and tidy.
It's a decent Walgreens the staff is fairly limited in the only real downside is there's no good parking or access
Absolutely the rudest employees in the pharmacy that I have ever dealt with. I will never come back again.
Sam and Elma in the photo department were amazing!!!! So helpful and great right before the holidays!
The pharmacy is pitifully understaffed so wait times are crazy. Please hire and retain more staff!
THE WORST PHARMACY IN THE USA! They don't care and make no effort to provide care to patient's.
Rude, unhelpful, and slow pharmacy. Go to the CVS across the street.
