Advertises 24-hour a day pharmacy - took a car2go to get prescription filled in early morning hours because I have to be to work at 6:00AM. Pharmacist refused to fill prescription until 8:00am the following morning, claimed it was because they were "inundated" with prescriptions - I was literally the only one in the store except for two other Walgreens workers that were messing around in the aisles of the store in the back (register was unattended so I just didn't get anything on my way out.) Pharmacist "Douglas" was incredibly rude, condescending and inflexible. I asked if I could pick up prescription a little early because of work hours - flatly refused. I simply don't understand. Will never fill a prescription here again - sending complaint to corporate. Why have a 24-hour a day pharmacy if you refuse to fill prescriptions 24-hours a day? Again, this is not a 24-hour a day pharmacy - false advertising. They will not fill your prescription until "Douglas" deigns to fill it. In the past I've had to go back because they've underfilled my prescriptions in the past - they didn't give me all the medication - but they were the only 24-hour-a-day pharmacy near me, so I dealt with it - no longer. They've just removed the only reason to go to this pharmacy, and all apparently because "Douglas" doesn't want to be bothered with doing his job during advertised pharmacy hours.
Why??? Why is the pharmacy staff so rude normally I don’t care how people working service jobs/customer service treat me because I know they are probably overworked/underpaid/mistreated. I’ve been there, I’ve worked retail many times. BUT - the woman at the pharmacy counter was one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered in my life for no reason!! I went in for a Covid shot and she was mad that I forgot to do the paperwork online (ok, fair, I should’ve done that, no need to be rude though). She had me sit and wait to get the paperwork while she helped the rest of the line. I decided to do the paperwork online while I was waiting and got up to stand in line to let her know - then she rudely told me “you already wasted my paper” and made me fill it out anyway? I truly do not understand treating people this way. She treated everyone in line the same way, making people repeat themselves over and over, generally being incredibly rude to everyone. Clearly this is an ongoing problem looking at other reviews. I hope she finds another line of work because there’s an inherent power dynamic between pharmacy staff and customers. I’ve had bad days too working in health care but I would never talk to someone like that :(
Very poor service at the pharmacy. Frequently had to call to resolve prescription issues with them and they kept messing up the timing on one of my prescriptions. I was left without my medication several times. You would think that when they make an error, they would work to correct it, but this store could never get it right. I think I put up with it for so long (one year) because the people were generally polite and apologetic. The tipping point came when for about the tenth time, there was a delay in providing my prescription. When I called them to figure out what was going, the lady was so rude that I asked to speak to a manager. She told me that she was the manager, so I just gave up and told her I'd be moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I would give this place zero stars if I could, and after everything I've dealt with at this location, I don't know how they have any customers.
Scheduled a covid testing appointment for my parents on 02/10/22 but didn’t realize it was a drive-thru. We traveled by bus and approached the testing center on foot. The woman at the counter was surprised we weren’t in a car and confirmed that we had an appointment. She said its against Walgreens policy to test anyone who’s not in a car. I assumed this was because we’d be taking our masks off and replied that we would stand far (from the glass window she was already behind) but she denied. She suggested that we either get a friend’s car or a taxi. My (visiting foreign) parents were disappointed that we were denied a test because we didn’t have a car. I have gotten tests at drive-thru locations on foot before so was surprised at Walgreens’ policies. We got tested at UW center nearby instead. All in all, I’d never shop here again, screw your policies.
I was visiting Seattle and needed a script but wasn't sure where I was going to get it filled so my doc called into my prescription in to a pharmacy at home and I had it transferred to this store. I called my home store who transferred it to this location and since I always call to verify, I did the same. I was told that there was a problem with the script and that they had to get in touch with my insurance company and I could call back in about an hour. I pretty much expected an issue just because so I said I would call back and hung up. Then within 5 minutes of that, I got a call back. Insurance issue was cleared up and the script was filled. So I cannot complain about a thing. The employees were nice, they listened to me, and my script was taken care of in a timely manner.
Horrible customer service at pharmacy. Plan at least :30 min to pick up a prescription. They are very slow and also scattered. I’ve been in line for 10 min. Behind one other person. They can’t find anything and are all very stressed. If there is a manager - please do something. Turns out I can’t get my prescription because the computer system is having problems- 2nd time I’ve had that Last week- I had just had oral surgery and bloody gauze hanging out of my mouth and the pharmacy woman refused to look up my prescription by my ID - she made me talk and was very annoyed. Told me it would be 25 min for pick up. Texted that prescription was ready 5 min later after I left store. I’m general the pharmacy staff is always stressed and off putting.
Horrendous customer service at pharmacy. Expect 30 - 60min wait time for any call. If you are greeted by a male voice, the employee is new, clueless, and unlikely to be helpful. Then, if you do get in contact with the actual pharmacist, you will receive inconsistent messaging and completely new issues with your prescription. Then, expect yet another 25 -50 minute wait when you finally come to pick up the prescription. Pharmacy issues aside, the interior of the store looks atrocious. It's very aged and unkempt. With this level of mismanagement, I would be equally as rude and inefficient were I their employee. The only reason this location stays open is due to brand recognition and being on an great intersection for business.
I waited in line for 20 minutes to pick up a prescription. It happens. I get it. I got to the counter and told the Pharmacist that I had new benefits information. He glared at me, said he was too busy to enter it into the system and took the next 10 or so customers behind me. After waiting another 20 minutes I approached the counter and he had forgotten about my order. He asked another girl to enter my info into the system. She proceeded to do so, and was interrupted by another customer who she decided to wait on instead. My info was finally entered into the system in a whopping 90 seconds. I can't believe I waited 50 minutes for a 90 second transaction. This is unprofessional and no way to treat a paying customer.
We have been coming here for many years. Our family has endured hour after hour of torment, sitting in their cramped waiting area. We've come in with Rxs, dated the very same day, to be treated with the pharmacist's version of, "Go away and come back tomorrow." Emerald City, here we come. They continually harass the doctor's office for absolutely no reason, insisting he or his staff call, wasting his time and ours. I could understand if there were an issue, like dosage or timing, but not for this, and not if they're already overworked Frequently come in after being told the Rx is ready then stand in line for another 25 min. They should do some employee restructuring. Too much. We'll take our business elsewhere.
I've had a lot of bad experiences with this pharmacy and seen others even more often. Just this morning the drive thru operator told me I had nothing ready so I parked and went inside and, sure enough, my meds were ready and handed over to me. I suspect that she didn't listen to me the three times I spelled my name for her. However, this pharmacy gets two additional stars for Danielle alone, who went so far above and beyond to help me fix things on my account which had previously been explained to me as 'impossible to change'. She is holding that place together and I really appreciate her specifically. It's a total mess but worth it for the workers who still care.
Combining all the times they've messed up my insulin prescription there has been a solid week of my life I have had to go without food. Originally was supposed to pick up insulin at 2pm. At 4pm they still didn't have it ready and just said "sometime before close". Show up at 9:15 to find out the pharmacy now closes an hour earlier than the store (Google still says they close at 10 like they used to). Never got an alert that my prescription would be delayed, never got a message saying it was filled. Now I'm starving but if I eat I know I'll end up with a one way ticket to the ICU because of high blood sugar. Right now my disappointment is matched only by my hunger.
This pharmacy has the nicest staff, who always take the time to answer your questions and make sure you have what you need at the best price possible. You can tell they work hard and really care about serving their community, but you can also tell that they are being pushed to their limits, literally running around to help people at the counter, the drive thru, and over the phone. There is always a line no matter what hour, and while they'll do their very best to get you your meds as fast as possible, it often has to be the next day because they're always struggling to keep up. These people are wonderful and deserve better pay and working conditions!
Waiting three days for my medication. Front desk techs seem unaware that not all months are 30 days long. After committing to today- they can't seem to get my med: Got a text message that my med was ready for pick up..went in today....not there. 4 years of issues ..it has been easy about 5 times out of 48! The given reasons and rules seem to change according to who is at the desk ( Sunday-"that med is non transferable" vs. Today-"do you want us to see if we can find it somewhere else". !!! BS). I am compelled to use Walgreens due to an employer-pharmacy arrangement. Consistently and sustainably the Worst pharmacy I have ever used.
I called WalGreen to check if they had a product. The phone robot couldn't get anything straight. Called a 3rd time, the semi-human couldn't get me the manager. 3 calls, 10 minutes, forget WalGreen -- GO LOCAL -- CALL BARTELL'S!!! I got a helpful fellow on the phone at Bartell's, he took the time to check the product on the shelf. I got into the store 20 minutes later, I couldn't find it, asked the cashier to direct me to where it was and he went and helped me find the product. BARTELL'S DOES IT RIGHT, WalGreen -- THANK YOU BARTELL DRUG STORE.
Got a covid test at the drive through pharmacy. Very convenient and quick to take the test, but my experience getting my (negative) results was very poor. The website claimed “results in as fast as one hour”, the pharmacist on site said “24 hours”, and PNWHealth said “24 to 48 hours”, so I was confused how long to wait. I called PNWHealth after 3 days, who said they “escalated to the pharmacy and should hear back from them,” but I heard nothing. Finally after 6 days and 2 phone calls, one of which took an hour, I got results.
I live on the Eastside-Redmond & looked all morning for a 15 min Covid test kit for a vaccinated friend who is traveling but wanted one just in case.. After spending the morning calling many stores to no avail, a nice Walgreens Ballard Pharmacy person answered my call, she said they had 1 left, and volunteered to put it aside with my name if I wished. I was able to pick it up 1 hr later. Kudos to excellent customer service, and simple kindness. She was exceptionally helpful, something that goes a long way these days..
I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. VERY RUDE EMPLOYEE. Literally the worst customer service experience of my life. Stood in line for twenty minutes trying to buy TWO items... Was RUDELY told by the cashier when the item wouldn't scan to 'run back and find the price'... He acted impatient when I didn't understand what he was saying.. then he still couldnt ring up the item and told me he can't sell it to me. Didn't try to get a manager's help, nothing. Just acted like me being there trying to buy things was a problem..
I always have a high hope for this Walgreens, and every time I come on let's me down significantly. I have used Walgreens across the country for a better part of 20 years and this particular location (Pharmacy) has the WPRST customer service. They are out-right negligent in the training process, even simple instructions from the pharmacy team is rude and degrading. Usually, I get weak and use the drove thru, every single time I am disappointed... I'm more annoyed with myself for giving in one more time.
Pharmacy staff said I didn’t have a current script and they couldn’t pull in the current script from another Walgreens (they can). Supervisor looked at file and said “oh yes they could do it but it would take 24 hours (it takes a minute or two). Store supervisor said she didn’t understand why her staff was making it so difficult to get my script. In the end I had the script filled at the Walgreens in another state and will pick it up next week. You decide, is this the kind of service you want.
Iv'e always had a good experience here. I take my dog in all the time and never have an issue. All the staff are pleasant to us. The pharmacy has treated me with great respect, and have gone out of their way to help me through the myriad of issues I confront with insurance. Ted, the pharmacy manager, always remembers my first name, and the other pharmacist knows me as do the the staff. I feel grateful for them and their knowledge and professionalism.
I love this store. The staff is super helpful and nice. I get great advice in cosmetics (what do you think of this color, have you tried this, ...), and the on sale end cap is always a good time. The vibe in here is very welcoming and I really appreciate it. Also, they pulled themselves together much faster than other local stores when this whole nightmare happened. I have an immune disease and noticed that. It felt safer here. Thank you.
Heya, came to visit outta state.. Go here if you like to be followed and made uncomfortable because all of the employees. They really need work on customer service there. I get it there are legit shoplifting issue, but guess learn to deal with that and prepare instead of making hard working customers uncomfortable that they don't buy from there..like the Safeway across the street treated me better than here
The pharmacy here is absolutely awful. I don’t know her name, but one of the pharmacy employees with black hair has been incredibly rude to me for absolutely NO reason every time I’ve been in. Their drive through pharmacy also takes forever—I’ve been sitting here for half an hour and only 2 cars have gotten out so far. Been at the window for 5, and no one has even acknowledged I’m here.
Worst pharmacy I have ever seen. I did a covid 19 pcr test for my international flight. The drive true process took 55 minutes, the worker was very rude. I could have endured all this, but my test result never came, although I paid $128 for it, and due to their incompetence, I could not get on my flight. I had to do an urgent test elsewhere and also lost a lot of time and money.
DO NOT try to pick up your prescription from this store, if you have an urgency, like antibiotics intake. We were promised to pick up the next day, only to find out they did not have it in stock when we gave them a visit the next day. No phone calls, any sort of notifications beforehand so that we can make accommodations. So unprofessional! They think people's health is a joke.
I received a call that they were ready for medication yesterday. I went there they say "no medication available. I ordered it for tomorrow". This medicine is dangerous if it is even skipped for a day, and they are making me do so. They could have ordered it yesterday. There is no apology or any explanations to me. Unprofessional, and it is not safe to trust them.
Bad attitude. Jennifer (pharmacy tech) @ 8:55p on APR 14 refused to give me a bag. I have a spinal injury, and I explained that I was walking home with it, so I wanted handles to carry it. She said that she 'didn't feel comfortable giving me a bag,' because she's 'had bad experiences with people stealing'. So, she 'didn't want to give me one.' Excuse me?
threw away my film i had turned into get developed but never got in touch with me to tell me it was ready. i had even called them multiple times to ask if it was ready and had informed them that i would not be able to pick it up until spring break due to the fact that i had to go back to college. wasted my money and now i will never get those photos back
There's almost ALWAYS a line. They never seem to have enough people at the front and at the pharmacy. They pharmacy line also moves at a snail's pace. I'm on a strict gluten free diet, and when I've asked the pharmacists to check the ingredients of medications they give me, they have noted that this type of service is outside of their job description.
I never post reviews on google but this pharmacy is run by the most incompetent pharmacists that there are. There was no manager on site, nobody could help fill a prescription that was sent to a neighboring Walgreens that was closed. Multiple people on the same day complained about the same issue. They should hire better staff.
Printing machine for FedEx is down. Apparently this is a longstanding issue and FedEx won’t fix or at least remove the info stating that they print labels. Wasted my lunch break & $ finding materials to package return. I would have saved time by returning directly to a store without sourcing packaging.
The pharmacy tech was really helpfull in answering all of my questions about a new medication I have never taken before. And the floor employees were also really helpfull in helping me find what I was looking for (but they were also Chicken-Hawking me whitch made me fell real uneasy).
Just waited on hold for 58 minutes with the pharmacy. Are the phones working? Who knows. Don’t believe the message when she tells you there’s one person, then no people ahead of you. I finally hung up, and this isn’t the first time this has happened. 58 minutes!!!!!
HORRIBLE LOCATION!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! Sent an urgent prescription and came in 30 minutes before they closed and they would not even attempt to fill it. The people who work here seem to hate their job and do not care about anyone. Avoid this location at all costs
Walgreens is what it is, fill your prescription and buy some basic stuff. They have alot of makeup and usually some on sale. You can also get photos printed here. If you need to buy a card for someone they have a good selection .
This pharmacy is the worst! Took 30+ mins to get my refill including 10 mins where I literally watched the employees having a casual conversation through the window without even looking my direction! Horrible customer service
Not crowded. Organized. Perhaps too much so. There were so many price stickers on everything, I couldn't figure out the real price, so I didn't buy things, i.e. cosmetics; mascara, nail polish, lipstick, etc …
Hours listed online and on the door stated they closed at 11PM, but when I showed up just before 10PM they were closed. Not even a sign on the door stating they closed early. Perhaps the employees are on strike?
Rude, disrespectful teenage pharm assistants. . Can't wait till they need life saving meds. Green fingernail chippy, save your superiority complex for when you have more edu than me. Nothing special here.
This location is very clean. The employees make you feel welcome. The store manager Kaila went out of her way to help me find what I was looking for. I will definitely be returning to this location.
Ordered prints a few days ago, the machine broke. Slight inconvenience, but Matt (I believe the manager) was super cool, handled it with grace and understanding, Lovely despite the small kerfuffle.
Pharmacy wait is usually pretty atrocious. The techs are quite slow and spend a lot of time talking and not much time working. The pharmacists themselves have been great and very helpful, though.
Extremely rude, short with customers and I had an employee complain that "it takes a long time to check insurance so do you even need me to do it?" Of course I do. This place sucks.
The most Awesome Walgreens in the city!!!!! Never had any problems with any of the staff or returning anything from a different location they’re always helpful and friendly!
They Truely suck they changed the pharmacy hrs and there service is poor if anything never will use them at this site the management folks should look for new jobs
Breaks the law by not allowing people with documented .edical conditions to use the bathroom. Will be contacting corporate to complain about Manuela
Cashier Shuimu is always such a great help. Walgreens thank you for having such helpful people on your team, it always starts on the front line.
Danielle in the pharmacy is amazing. She sincerely shines so bright, even under the terrible fluorescent lighting. She deserves a promotion.
Poor customer service front cashier asks you questions to see what you are looking for and then just stares at you until you leave
Employees are always friendly friendly and greet you in answering store is clean good place to look for a variety of products
There's a white male pharmacy employee who is currently and rude. Walgreens is hurting themselves by keeping guys like him.
Do not come here if you plan to print with an iPhone. The man “helping” was incredibly rude and did not help in any way.
Slowest and most disorganized pharmacy I've been to. Always takes at least thirty minutes to fill a simple prescription.
Changed policy on tele-therapy providers no notice and i am stuck without my medication. Lost a customer for life!
Jenifer Puetz is really good a her job. The staff is nice and kind but have to deal with criminals shoplifting.
It is a typical walgreens. I recommend heading across the street to Bartell for a better drugstore experience
Great photo lab work. Really helpful associates. Everyone following Covid protocols and enforcing masks.
Took 5 days for a medication I need everyday and have a 28 day supply of usually. Just unacceptable
The printer was broken and calendars (Christmas present) were never printed and I was not notified.
Sign said store open 24 hours but door was closed at 11:15 PM on a Tue ... no note of explanation
They have all your basic needs but no housing. Get your goods at fair prices from fair people.
Cashier wouldn’t price match a single item to their online price per Walgreen’s policy
I came for photo print, and it was so fast and easy. Both service and price are great!
EH. It'll do. Not outstanding, but at the same time, they get by on familiarity.
I always find the people in this store to be so helpful and friendly. Thank you!
Walgreen’s is terrible. at the very least correct the pharmacy hours on google
It's a regular Walgreens. No entrance from the northbound side of 15th Ave.
Worst pharmacy I've ever used... Staffs are so impatient and just rude
One of the worst places in Seattle, the manager is extremely racist
They often discontinue the photo service and this time for months.
This place isn't the greatest. 24 hr pharmacy is why we stop here.
Haven't been there but every one takes along time and their rude
I had to wait in line but the customer service was excellent
Great drug store located on 15th and Market St. in Ballard.
Always seems a little run down and always a lengthy wait.
Did not know they had a military discount
horrible service by a worker “MANUELA”
no pharmacist for drive through.
24 hour drive through pharmacy
Not as good as other branches.
Quick friendly service
It was like any other
I get my pills,
Convenient.
It's ok
