"This Walgreens is a scam"
Very unprofessional and non costumer friendly. I came in early afternoon today dec 28 to pick up some snacks for my trip. A old man walks in behind me and goes to the associate at the desk and asks to use the washroom. I would like to start off by saying I do understand that there are regulations set up so that you have to have a receipt to enter the washroom but however. The man who was trying to access the washroom was very sick and barely able to speak. The associate very rudely told the man that he could not use the washroom and began to walk away. The man explained he will buy something immediately. But the associate just continued walking away to repeated herself with even more attitude than the last time. The man leaves after seeing that they weren't willing to help him. Leaving me to wait in line with a few other people. Another worker, who I believe was the supervisor. Camr by and alerted the associate that there were people waiting for her. She just replied "naw he just wants to go to the washroom" and continued to walk around for a bit before she realized the man had left. I was just in disbelief and decided to leave as well. I am just in shock that they would place someone so rude and unprofessional to represent their front end. I would like to ask Walgreens to investigate and consider retraining that associate. That does not belong in costumer service department.
I am so upset right now, i don’t even live in Seattle I’m a tourist i came for a concert and I caught a fever and body aches so I walked to the nearest Walgreens, from my hotel down the street to get some medicine. I had a hoodie on because it’s freezing out and I’m not feeling good at all. I’m looking for the ibuprofen isle I get to the isle I’m trying to choose one, their security comes up next to me all obvious and is pretending he’s shopping and reaches infront of my face and grabs a ibuprofen bottle right infront of me then an employee comes up on the other side of me “putting something away” supposedly. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life. I took my hoodie off and I step back and look at them. I’m not the type to make a scene so I just got my medicine and walked to the register and paid. The employee at the register is looking at me like I’m a dang criminal. I felt so disrespected I didn’t even grab a water bottle to take the medicine. I hope Walgreens trains their employees better and not treat customers like criminals and make them feel uncomfortable while shopping. He didn’t have to act that way if he thought I was stealing he could’ve watched cameras or stand by the door, not surround me like a criminal. I will definitely be reaching out to someone about this situation.
AVOID THIS LOCATION FOR VACCINES AT ALL COSTS!! I work in healthcare so I definitely understand being short staffed with a high patient load, as well as the sheer brokenness of our healthcare system…. That said, trying to take down someone’s info for an extended period, delaying the appointment they arrived EARLY for, and not understanding that they are ok to just pay due to not being contracted with the correct insurance, AND THEN HAVING THE AUDACITY tO refuse them care because “it’s too late and I have to go on my lunch” is mind blowing to me. Could have Just taken the couple minutes (TOPs) to process a payment, but going on break exactly at 1:30 seemed more important than having any sense of empathy or concern for doing one’s job. My partner was FULLY WILLING TO PAY, the entire time, and verbalized as much multiple times…meanwhile this clerk was clearly confused and not understanding how to enter the correct information, and yet was turned away due to the pharmacy clerks incompetence. Please don’t EVER come here for a vaccine. I thankfully got mine, but the experience was SO Bad and embarrassing for us, I’m concerned they didn’t even give me the correct vaccine. Would give zero stars if possible
The pharmacy staff was very helpful and friendly, if I lived in Seattle this would be my choice of pharmacy, especially given their generous hours. A personal thank you: I just moved from Michigan to California, my initial prescription was almost out and I just managed to get a new doctor in California to re-prescribe me. I was in Seattle for an event and because of the generous pharmacy hours I was able to attend my event and ask for a refill. The pharmacist technician is literally the first person to inquire about what pronouns to use and even made a deadname joke which scored huge brownie points with me. More importantly they were willing to work with my out of state, printed on regular printer paper prescriptions depsite my doctor's office being closed on Saturday. They were my heroes that weekend because I was worried I wouldn't be able to get my drugs for a week due to the limited San Jose pharmacy hours and my long work hours which is unthinkable.
This Walgreens is a scam. I paid $300 for my reload card to be reloaded with my cash and the money never received on the reload card. I am extremely disappointed and pisses. I have not slept at all. The manager named Kile told me that it could take up to 24 hours which doesn’t make sense. I told him I been loading cash on my American Express serve account for years and the longest it’s taken was 12 minutes and the moneys there. So this idiot said to me call the customer service number that been having issues. So now what? Maybe they will try to pocket my 300. I may file a lawsuit for stress and depression due to this. I been without sleep for 24 hours due to the stress and distraction. I will trying calling the upper district office manager today 11/10/23. I will never load cash at Walgreens ever again.
Went for some vaccinations I booked online. I was 30 min late b/c traffic and long line. Then I was told they didn’t have the vaccines or you need the proper documentation. The Walgreens website never mentioned availability or lack there of and this is the first time I had to bring my Covid card. They couldn’t just look at the copy online or update my online documentation?! I know they have an online record! I try calling another Walgreens but they only have a machine that never answers my question of vaccine availability or what documentation I need. Walgreens is great for picking up meds but never try to get a vaccine from them!
I usually try to avoid this Walgreens, although one of my prescriptions is handled by the pharmacy, and I must visit once a month. However, I needed to pick up some things for my wife who had a bad cold. I was wandering around, lost as usual, when Patrick, the guy in charge of stock and supply at this Walgreens, asked if he could help. I was astounded. This kindness is not often seen in Seattle. He helped me find what I needed, and Patrick even ran downstairs for the two boxes of Kleenex my wife requested. He was warm, friendly and helpful. Kudos to Patrick and kudos for Walgreens for hiring him.
The pharmacy here is kind of a joke. They are way too busy for how many staff they keep, and basically refused to give me a flu shot even though I was happy to pay for it. Tons of back and forth about how my insurance wasn’t accepted (I know) and me repeating that I am happy to pay out of pocket. Eventually my boyfriend tried to speak up for me and they said “it’s too late now, we have to go on lunch”. Are you kidding me?? I work in customer service, I get it. But this is ridiculous. Skip this place, get your vaccines elsewhere.
This was my worst pharmacy experience ever. Had an Rx sent from urgent care the evening prior. They were closed at that hour so I figured I’ll pick up in the morning. Came the next day at 12 pm, 3 hours after they opened and it still wasn’t ready, for an antibiotic that I need to start urgently and they had zero empathy to even try to rush it being that I am not feeling well. Unbelievable. Would never go here again. Will go to Bartells from now on. What pharmacy is completely closed on a Sunday?!
Very bad customer service even tho they have two registers, they stikl use one and doesn’t even come at the front. People wait for 15-20 minutes on line and no one comes at register for transportation. There is a white guy work there in the morning around 8 am clean shave and brown holden hairs around the age of 25-30. He’s very rude to everyone and on asking please help us at register . He says to go on other side because he’s texting on the phone. Most rude and slow lady with no manners
The cashier, a guy of Asian descent, was incredibly kind and friendly. Initially, I questioned why I was charged the regular price for an item that was advertised as “buy 1 get 1 50% off.”He politely explained that the discount only applied to Walgreens members and asked if I wanted to sign up. When I mentioned that I'm from Canada, he consulted his manager to see if I could receive a membership discount. It was such a wonderful way to treat a Canadian neighbour!
I just got back from Walgreens. I always get excellent service when im there. I filled my birth control and my Adderall. I got home to find that they gave me 3 months worth of birth control. I don't know if it's because if it's a mistake from resetting the system or because i had 3 refills left on it and they decided to give me all 3. Honestly i dont mind it because now i don't have to worry about filling my birth control for the next 3 months
I came in a little frustrated that my passport photo was taken incorrectly, but by the time I left I was very impressed with the customer service! Not only did they replace it for free, but the people working there were always smiling and greeting anyone that walked in the door. Andy was helping a gentleman get photos processed and I have never seen someone so patient and attentive. He takes customer service to whole 'nother level!
The staff is funny and laid back. They have a good pet food, household sundry organization and repair, pest control , and cleaning supplies sections. Its a bit inconvenient 2 ask 4 a basket at front but they r friendly. There is almost always enough staff at front and 2 answer questions. They have a drive thru pharmacy and, i think, a photo and picture section. Its a warm open space tho old restored bldg outside.
This location is horrible. The online appointment booking is broken so I called in. The men who answered my call took all my personal information and just left with no answer at all. So I had to call again, the women who took the call asked me all the information and told me I can’t book with phone either. If I can’t book with website that’s too bad… ETF I do t understand how these people keep their customers…
Went in to this location and have been their many times for a quick grab and go . Today the cashier Brenda was not very helpful when it came to my transaction. For some reason the card reader wasn’t reading my debit card and I tried tapping and swiping. I even took out another form of payment but it was doing the same thing . Not once did she try to help by ringing it up on another machine . Brenda do better .
Very unhelpful. Purchased $480 worth of items when I moved to Seattle. After 32 days I need to return $18 worth of items. Had to wait due to Covid pandemic. Store manager would not approve return even though I presented original receipt and the items unopened. Needless to say this was very disappointing especially since I used to work at Walgreens part time before moving here.
While all pharmacy's seem to be a pain in the butt, this one is especially difficult. It took me about 20 minutes just to get through on the phone. Once they answered me they acted very put out by my inquiries. When I arrives to pick up my prescription they were slightly more patient. I think it's important for them to realize they are working in customer service.
I get all my prescriptions here and they are fantastic. The pharmacists here are proactive and helpful. Staff is friendly. Such a far cry from any CVS (apart from Target Pharmacy) I have been to. After years of going to terrible CvS stores across the country - cause they’re everywhere- I decided to walk farther and go to Walgreens for much better service!
This Walgreens is by far one of the greatest Walgreens you couldn't visit in historical downtown Seattle. As you can see the high rise sky scrappers you can see the atmosphere that Seattle has to offer only thing that's missing is a nice hot brewed cup of coffee are some hot chocolate and you can sit there and relax and watch the scenery
As a former summer 2015 employee I can tell you this locations struggles with shoplifting and unprofessional employees. The manager means well and runs it as best as possible. Visually, it has average prices on most items, and killer weekly deals. It also is cleaned frequently and follows most procedures well.
Been on hold with the pharmacy for half an hour, haven't talked to anyone yet. Might be understaffed. Not reliable in the world of healthcare to make patients wait this long. Use another pharmacy. Update: it's been over an hour and I'm giving up; don't bother calling them, they won't pick up.
Terrible service. Waited over an hour for a confirmed pharmacy appointment. Three people who came in well after me were helped before me. When I complained, I was told that those three people were in the system as “more loyal customers” than I was and therefore helped first. That’s insane.
Awesome for shopping getting all your hotel needs and snacks from, they have everything from every day stuff to snacks, microwavable food, drinks, alcohol and more. Short lines and easy Checkout with great savings on prices. Younger Girl at the counter was super awesome and a great clerk!
Just because where it's located and how trashy and littered up it is on the outside of the store. Associate behind register didn't seem welcoming or that she liked her job. Plus they are very limited on products but I believe that is due to theft probably, being where it's location is.
Went there to get passport size photo for US visa. It was costlier than CVS and the photos were not valid for US visa. Had to rush to another studio last minute to get a correct one. Also, the picture i got at last minute came out better in quality than what i got from Walgreens.
A lady that seemed to think stocking the scanning the shelf tags was much much more important than helping a costumer having trouble breathing find an inhaler turned to be a manager. If this is how you fire people then i am sure you will lose all your costumers in this branch
I showed up before they close because I didn't feel good, and I am traveling to Seattle by myself. The manager is extremely nice and caring. She offered help far beyond what she is supposed to as a Walgreen's employee and make me feel much better mentally. Love Seattle again.
Has a vaccine appointment, when i get there they told me it’s out of stock they have to order it and ask me to get back the next day. I made appointment the whole week before so they could check their stock. No, instead they choose to waste my time. What a joke.
It’s nice to have access to a convenience store conveniently located in downtown. You’re typical Walgreens: candy, snacks, beverages, office supplies, supplements, and more. I was able to find what I was looking for and was quickly in and out.
I have tried to pick up my prescription multiple times over the last couple of weeks and each time the pharmacy was CLOSED during posted open hours. Do not use this pharmacy if you don't want to make multiple trips to pick it up.
I have been visiting Walgreens regularly for almost an year now and I always find staff super friendly and helpful. One time, they took time to explain how Walgreens rewards can be helpful. It’s great for groceries as well.
This Walgreens is not huge, but is well stocked with the usual array of health and beauty products. They have a small grocery section including beer, wine, and liquor. There's a pharmacy and a Chase ATM inside.
rite sized for in n out , of course c19 has slowed it down, however, no where near the waits elsewhere, still fast considering, all protocalls in place and adhered too, with as much courtesy as You show....
Dysfunctional, disorganized staff. Would not recommend sending your FedEx packages here for pickup, as only part of the staff seems trained on finding your package.
It's well stocked for the location but I can't believe they don't open until 8:00. Very inconvenient when I need to grab something on my way to work in the morning.
The security profiles customers and stalks/harasses them the whole time that they shop. Embarrassing and insulting, I don't recommend shopping here at all!
The cashier (the old one) was so rude, both time when I was there and I was with my two year old baby. I won’t be going to Walgreens anymore, thanks a lot.
Hard to get help. There were several people working but they pretty much avoided customers. Then it was j it to me. (Because it was electronic parts. LOL)
Low stock on every kind of drink, broken refrigerators, barely any staff, and I saw a homeless person steal stuff in plain sight as nobody did a thing.
Always good deals, look for Last Chance tags on all shelves. Try to shop before 7:00pm cuz shelves get bare due to volume. FREE PARKING&DRIVE-THRU
They sold me a COVID test that was missing some components, refused to let me exchange it, and then sold me another COVID test missing components.
After some staff shortages they seem to have everything working again properly, glad this one has some extra security and lots of things in stock
Walgreen's, it's a 2 stories, I like that. It's well stocked and can find anything I may need. And the employees are very helpful also. …
TIP: At Walgreens its 10 cents per copy for digital photos, order online and you can pick up your digital prints in a hour. #localguides
Kyle the manager personally helped me with my pharmacy issue. He really knows how to go above and beyond to help his customers.
Everyone working there is nice, but their pharmacy always seems understaffed. I've spent 15 minutes waiting at the drive thru.
Ordered an ship to store item and these guys cancel it after a week without a proper explanation. Horrible customer service
I've never had a bad experience. I come here about 2-3 times a week. Everyone has been super considerate and friendly.
Love the selection of good, got everything covered; plus the price is much lower than rest of the downtown
Pharmacy is always out of stock with prescriptions you can get anywhere in Seattle. Terrible pharmacy.
Seriously? What kind of store closes at 5pm I needed to get my prescription drugs and some groceries.
Good prices but non existent service. Checkout is so slow. When will the US learn self checkout?
Mostly great except don't go there looking to be in and out in a few minutes it ain't happening
Avoid this place like the plague. The Pharmacy acts like it's your privilege to fulfill here.
Quick and friendly service at the photo counter. My poster came out better than I expected.
The staff are always super friendly and helpful(GREAT SERVICE).!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This store would not honor Good Rx price Walgreens had advertised online.
Always above and beyond in the category of polite associates and security
23$ for 2 photos. And they give a pensive for digital copy. Wuff, pricey!
Always a good go to for hygiene stuff. And to add cash to my cash app.:)
They have cash back and the cashier was extremely helpful and polite.
Closing at 8pm! That sucks! Thank you all the local degenerates.
Pharmacy always have my meds ready and staff there are awesome!
Just great. Have one back at home. Chain store with consistency
Worst experience ever.. I brought a medicine and it was expired
Cashiers are cool, pharmacists on the other hand... …
Really like the pharmacy here. Bummer that I had to switch
Place is ok there abit overpriced on a few things though
Quick & good customer service from the employees.
Dude in charge of passport photos was ultra nice
I was travelling and it had everything i needed
Nice people, help me to cut my photos.
