"Employees are weird"
Ok but really it's only for others to be informed because it's apparent that individuals are not reprimanded for being rude and awful employee's all the way up to management. I just read a review that had the same experience as me from a year ago. For that reason alone that store will never see another dime from me..I was on the bus late in the evening here early January 2018. With miles still to ride I had an emergency and needed a bathroom. I asked the register girl for permission to use there facility. She in turn had no problem with it but said I must leave my backpack with her. I did my best to quietly educate her on the reason I needed my pac with me. Finally she said the only thing she could do was let me speak to management. Frustrated and now feeling like a common criminal I waited patiently for almighty gate keeper of the restrooms. When he finally arrived all I cared to do was use the bathroom. He, the Manager (Issik) did not greet me or even acknowledge me as a person. As I started to explain he immediately put his hand up as if using an international sign to shut up you'll get your turn. He shares a few words and chuckles with his cash girl. Used his finger suggesting me to walk closer to him. (WOW) is all I could think, but did so. He then rather rudely tried to explain to me about how it's the company's policy. I then replied that I understood all that. However there must be special circumstances that there golden and prideful rule could be bent. There was at least 8 other customers in my immediate area simply listening to the whole conversation. So I asked if we could talk privately in which he declined. I let him and everybody else know that I need my bag because of medical reasons. He actually rolled his eyes...it detracted me for a second cause the tattoos on his eyelids kind of intimidated me. I said look if you don't believe me please feel free to accompany in there and witness my every move. That to wasn't in the cards. I asked if he would search my pac, see that it was mostly my medical belongings and clear me to do my businesses. That too was not an option. Finally I decided that if I don't get my colostomy bag dealt with very soon. I'm going to have even bigger problems and said to Issak that I thought he was extremely rude and far from the professionalism one would expect from Walgreens. That I would find somewhere else. He simply batted his tattoos eyes and waved bye to me. Embarrassed to no end...I won't go into what I had to do in the park across the street....Walgreens, (Mr.Issak) and his entire establishment embarrassed me more than some adolescent bullies ever could. Shame on you...but I'm sure your feet are still kicked up on your desk with your hands behind your head cause you know as well that these reviews don't hurt you. And although there could only be but a few descent ones with positive regards. I bet they come in to play come bonus day. Plain and simple. I would fire your ass right now. Keep it gangster homie...you suck.
My regular Walgreens is shutting down.... they're blaming the homeless lol. However, I'm pretty sure it is NOT the homeless folks fault. Decided I'd change to the Carlisle and Lomas Walgreens....but, of course, they didn't have my meds in stock. I didn't take it personally...it takes a while to get your orders right when there's a lot of change. I patiently waited until Monday, when they get their "order", but, on Monday, they could only fill one...a process which only took a little more than an hour and a half for them to fill after they finally answered my call. However, most of that hour was spent in the massive line of people waiting for their meds too. Trying to avoid such lines is why I try to call before I come... it's hard on me to stand for that long...It really hurts me. But, I can't call from home. They WON'T answer. I've tried to wait them out...several calls with over 45 minutes of wait time before giving up. In fact, the only time they did answer my call was when I took my phone while still on hold to stand in the line inside the pharmacy! Hehehe....It only took a few rounds of being subjected to their own music and recorded messages on speaker phone at top volume before they finally answered...and only after a mere 52 minutes on hold. This is unacceptable. I was just going to transfer to another Walgreens, after all, I've been using them for decades....but I have been slapped in the face with the final straw...I am going to change companies... Walgreens has become company I will not keep. ...and they're blaming it on the homeless...what a joke...a not very good one.
This pharmacy is badly in need of a good manager. There were 4 people " working" the pharmacy section last night when we went for an appointment for a covid shot. Line of about 10 people waiting to pick up prescriptions and no way to circumvent the line to check in for the shot without just stepping in front of someone. All of the paperwork had been done online, so a signature was all that should have been needed. 15 minutes of checking in while the pharmacy tech stared at the computer, and after being told the questionnaire had been done online, it had to be repeated. Line behind us getting longer as 3 people stood in the background on the phone, staring at a computer screen, and emptying garbage cans. Occasionally someone else would come to the front and clear 5 or 6 people in the time it was taking the one assigned to the front to clear one. Thirty minutes after our appointment time I approached the window and asked if there was a problem with the booster. I was informed we were in line with everyone else who was waiting. I said, " That's not how appointments work. We've been waiting 30 minutes and that's enough. Otherwise don't make appointments. " Five minutes later the pharmacist tore herself away from the computer screen she'd been staring at and gave the shot. They desperately need someone back in the pharmacy prioritizing and directing the staff.
Worst experience with a pharmacy that I’ve ever had! They are completely inept and rude! When picking up a prescription I asked for they gave me a prescription that I had told I didn’t want to pay for as it was over the counter and cost 5x the amount of I just bought it in store. When asking about the prescription I wanted the girl said she filled it and handed me the prescription that I just told her I didn’t want n made me paid for I get home to take one realize it’s not the one I needed nor asked for when I called the lead pharmacist was extremely rude was super passive aggressive with her tone and tried to talk to me as tho I was stupid and still didn’t tell me the right information. I’ve never heard a Walgreens saying that they are not in the network of blue cross blue shield that was a complete lie she obviously just didn’t want to do the work to figure out how to bill the correct insurance because they sure was able to bill and charge me 5x the amount for a over the counter medication tho. Horrible service and completely incapable people working in there I’ll never go there again and I will be reaching out to corporate as I also see from reviews the pharmacy is a huge issue
Employees are weird. I will never come back to this store. Yesterday (Feb 15) they asked to leave my backpack at the front counter. Cashier told that no one needed my backpack and someone would rather steal $100 product from shelf than my bag. After that he put my bag on the floor with no any employee around it. Hmmm... If clerk does not trust me as a customer then at least follow me in the store or ask to show my bag to cashier at the end but do not ask to leave my property with more than just $100 equivalent inside it just because I should assume that I can trust you. And any clerk by himself may be a thief. In addition, the manager assured that this regulation is shown on the front door but failed to find it there by himself – for me it means incompetence. I strongly believe that an average person who wears a rucksack on his back is not likely to steal, but women who carry large handbags are (especially bags with no top zip). In such case employees of that store have to ask everyone to leave their bags at the front counter without any guaranty for a bag safety.
Worst prescription pickup EVER!! The pharmacist named "Phillip" needs to be fired or given a menial job pronto! This guy was walking around drinking his water bottle unable to help anyone. There was a poor woman working her first day there and I wouldn't be surprised if she never returned. The sole problem of the entire staff was on the fault of this incompetent person. In all honesty, he was lazy, impractical and incapable of using his powers of reasoning or even following simple directions. And he arrogantly assumed he knows better than "doctor's orders". He got a rude awakening as the doctor left very specific instructions. We live very far from this location and we had to make two trips just to pick up a prescription that was not prepared. Come to find out, the Phillip guy just had to cut the foil packets... ridiculous. This man caused my grandparents needless stress under an already stressful time for them. If you don't want to work, then don't have a job. Why should Walgreens pay you for sitting around?
Consistently on a downward slope for years. Customer service does not exist from the pharmacist to the manager in retail section. Several very good Representatives who do their jobs unfortunately are overshadowed by the majority being upset and angry when they are ask to do their job almost as if he you're interrupting them from talking or doing whatever they're doing. Several Associates like I mentioned behind the front counter as well as the photo in the pharmacy are super amazing as well as the pharmacy who is male with glasses he's amazing also I really can tell that he went to school for what he's doing and actually cares about it. I don't feel rushed with him or like I'm bothering him by asking question. The pharmacist is not the only legit person that but like I mentioned it's completely overshadowed by the lack of customer service and sense of bitterness about amongst everyone without the legitimate employees I would give one star out of than 2.
Horrible customer service!! Starting with the unprofessional pharmacist who was very hateful when asked about the Rx's that were being filled. I asked why she was being rude and she stated I'm the manager go to the back of the line ....wow as soon as I turned around another person behind me asked her a question as well and told him she has no time and looked me and he stated he couldn't believe they have people like her working there ..I definitely I agreed !! Her worker up front cashiering was just as hateful as her ...I asked for the store manager and she stated there is no store manager available of course she lied...I can honestly say this is the worse wal- green's in Albuquerque!! If you don't like your job then what are you doing there ??? Manager of the store can care less so don't bother telling him.
On 6/03/22 approximately 1:30 pm I visited the photo center to have my passport photo taken. I was greeted by two women with dark hair. I smiled and asked about getting my passport photo taken. They both gave me dirty looks immediately. They said I couldn't wear white. They said I couldn't have short sleeves. Never having taken a passport photo, I believed them. I went out to my car to get a jacket. When I came back inside, mysteriously the pulldown for the background photo was "broken". I can't put it into words how unprofessional these two women are. Especially that they both lied to me about what can be worn for a passport photo. I'll never come back, and I strongly suggest customers go to CVS or a postal service for their passport photo needs.
Piss poor customer service they gave me. Asked 1 worker if they had an item I wanted but instead she tells me wharever we have on the shelf is what we have or somebody stole it and didn't even care. Asked another worker and she was willing to help but was a cashier and she called someone over, and that somebody told me what we have online gets mixed up with other products but clearly online it shows the specific item I want and of course she didn't want to look in the backroom... Piss poor customer service and the manager should be on the floor evaluating the workers. Except the cashier cause she was cool and helped me out more than the other 2 did
This is an okay Walgreens location. We just came for some snacks, sodas, and Bronkaid. The pharmacist was very kind and I don’t know what everybody’s complaining about, but I guess it all depends on who you get and which day you go. The one thing I don’t like about this location is that there were no shopping carts and I didn’t see a single customer with a shopping cart. I understand theft issues with the carts and baskets, but not having something to put items in makes it a little inconvenient to shop. It’s still a good Walgreens and we will probably stop by there again if we’re in the area, despite the shopping cart and basket issue.
This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They routinely screw up my prescriptions. They start orders that never go through. Nothing is ever ready on time. And their poor management of their online prescription system has almost caused my physical harm on more than one occasion. I tried speaking to the pharmacist about the fact that my prescriptions were literally disappearing from their system. She blamed me and my doctor instead of actually listening to anything I said. They don't seem to understand that they are messing with people's lives when they mess with our meds.
I honestly dread having to go to this Walgreens location. I fill my prescriptions online, get about 50 phonecalls that they're ALL ready, then inevitably have to wait an extra 30 minutes while they fill a prescription that they missed. All (literally ALL) the cosmetics are locked, and either the call buttons don't work or the employees don't really care, because no one comes to unlock the cases. If you're looking for a pharmacy that will actively RAISE your blood pressure, then this is the Walgreens for you.
I went to pick up my medication for Covid-19. The female pharmacist asked loudly if I had covid. She showed no discretion, there were quite a few people around. And although I am not contagious at this time, and I wore a mask. I could tell her comments made others uncomfortable. She also proceeded to say that next time I should send someone else to pick up my covid medication. I unfortunately did not have anyone that could have helped me with this task today and nor do I plan on getting covid again.
11/29/22. female "managers" on duty this evening need better training & positive attitudes. Ignorance will not benefit company/customers. Paying customers expect better service from sales associates & managers while shopping in the store. Manager Javier apologized on behalf of his staff. Walgreen's customer service was terrible. Employees could benefit from more customer service training- basic example: how to greet customers with a smile and positive attitudes.
Website should make it clear - STORE opens @ 7. PHARMACY not until 8. Haven't eaten solid food for 6 days. Desperate for anti-nausea med (Zofran). Pharmacy couldn't connect to my insurance --- the largest bloody insurer in town. End up paying 14 bucks for 2 pills (partial fill) out of total desperation. Pharmacy personnel did their best, but the computerization of US "Healthcare" IS A JOKE. SINGLE PAYER NOW.
Employees rude constantly I’m a regular at this Walgreens. Never had a problem with any staff. Guy just looks down the whole time, does not ask how my day is even though I asked him. “I’m fine”. He responded with no question of how I’m doing. It’s been 3 times he has been rude so not coming back anymore. CVS has Soda for the sale price so I would not recommend going here if you want good customer service.
WAY To SHORT STAFF IN THE PHARMACY!!!!! I left my Walgreens in Los Lunas because of the long wait times and no phone service and here we go again!!! Longer lines and the phone is a nightmare to get through to! CVS OR WALMART HERE I COME (I guess) Darn it, I've been a loyal customer for 20+ years see ya Walgreens and your new rewards system is awful! I can't find my points...
This walgreens needs help. They do not have any inventory and none of the call buttons worked for assistance to retrieve items from locked cabinets. You would have to locate an employee around the store to get them to open the cabinets. What's the point of the buttons? The window was also smashed in. As I was pulling up, I was an IPS vehicle but never saw the IPS employee.
Made an appointment and showed up ten minutes early. Stood in line for nearly 30 minutes, had to fill out the paperwork I had done online already a second time because they could not find it, then had to wait around another 10 minutes, only to be treated very rudely by the staff. As someone who works in the health industry, this is unacceptable. Horrible pharmacy.
Took three times to fill one prescription. Each time the clerk said the prescription will be ready 30 minutes to an hour and after waiting each time, they told me it would be ready the next day. This Walgreens is the very worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I do not recommend using this Walgreens for anything other than chewing gum
I am not sure what the issue is at this particular Walgreens but every time I have been in this store I have been treated poorly. I get we are in a pandemic but the employees just seem to be aggravated always. Hope corporate is able to give them some support or at least teach them to try and smile/interact with their customers.
Don't buy chocolate here! For the second time I bought chocolate from the candy aisle- and it's old! First it was a lindt chocolate bar a few weeks ago and now reisens chocolate candies. Both times I've opened the candy to find it expired. WTH!
Been trying to refill prescriptions for the last 3 days, get put on hold for 15 minutes & then get disconnected.Callec today & pharmacy is closed. Manager was a real unhelpful person just making excuses. Don’t use this pharmacy.
This has to be the worst Walgreens in Abq. The staff is rude, dismissive and no customer service what so ever. I’ve been waiting four hours to get a prescription filled. I’m sorry to say this review won’t change anything.
Placed an order for some photo items online. I received an email that the order was ready for pickup. Went to the store the next day to be told that they could not fulfill my order. No phone call, no email. Waste of time.
My child suffers from a chronic illness and beacause of that relies on nausea medicine. They have lost her perscriptions and forgot to order them. They blame all their problems on others they never take responsibility.
GARBAGE PHARMACY STAFF. Too incompetent to put 14 pills in a bag after 3 days of having being sent the prescription. Rude attitude from the girl with red/pink hair and they want you to suffer and die rather than help
The worst damn continuity of service I have ever seen, no accountability between pharmacists shifts and their responsibilities and promises they make to patients. GOL ELSEWHERE WALGREENS IS HORRENDOUSLY MANAGED.
Went twice to pickup meds not ready so silly me I thought call first I was on Hold 1hr and forty minutes no one ever answered I guess I'll drive back But on the bright side I was able to clean my oven …
This store sucks. If you have prescriptions sent there and it’s in the afternoon they will refuse to fill them. Talk about the worst possible customer service. Hope you don’t need life saving medication.
Very bad customer service, this tattoed guy needs to go, he always tries to short change me when I buy something there, they should clean up personel and start fresh, with a real, profresional manager
Slow service. Really, really slow service. Urgent care called in my prescription first thing in the morning and 3 hours later, they have yet to fill the prescription. I plan to pick another pharmacy.
Some of the pharmacy interns need to have customer service training. But other than that, great cashiers, very helpful and knowledgeable pharmacist. On a good day, great discounts and sales.
The photo lab is always super late on printing. Multiple times I’ve have to wait an extra hour or two over when they are supposed to be done. They need to get their sh$$ together.
Long lines at pharmacy. Many small items locked up and difficult to get help to unlock so you can BUY it. (And no rhyme nor reason to what that item could be. Clean store .)
Horribly stocked makes Albuquerque look more third world than its is . Can't seem to keep a whole stores stuff between this one and the garbage few blocks away
I’ve been going to this Walgreens for decades; it’s a convenient location so generally it is a busy store and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Long wait, had to go back twice since my prescription was not ready either time. Had to wait 45 each trip, will never go back to this Walgreens.
I Love getting my photos off my cell. Printing Always a great price $ . use the code.. Save 25% order on line .. 1day orders ready for pic up
This place doesn't allow backpacks or bags of any kind. Don't take our rights away because you are getting robbed blind by the homeless.
Actually has what you need since the cvs on central and Louisiana is always blocked off by the investigation of the week
Unhelpful employees. Refuse to look up products and just say we don't carry it even when the website says that they do.
Pharmacy wrongly stated that "prior authorization" was required causing several day delay in getting medication
Justin is so sweet and was extremely helpful when we had issues with some photo prints. Thank you so much!!
Awful. Long waits incompetent staff. Steer clear. If u make a covid appt itll be at least a 1 hour wait.
Superb customer service, friendly and very knowledgeable. Favorite Walgreens!
Nothing comparez to the old schoolhisyory of your neighborhood walgreens.
The Muslim manager or whatever he is extremely rude. Never going back!!!
Krystal Sfl was such a big help very nice very professional Thank You
I love this store! They staff are extremely nice. …
I called to see if they have a product and no one will answer.
The RX people are not very helpful. I will be going elsewhere.
Horrible customer service. Lazy staff! Very inconsiderate.
Pharmacy staff very rude. Not interested in helping me
Not crowded. Clean and well stocked. Pleasant workers.
