Placed a pickup order online 4 hours before cutoff time...I received a text saying my order was delayed and if I had any questions or wanted to cancel my order to call the store. I figured I'd cancel if it wasn't gonna be ready that night and purchase my item from a different place as it would be less expensive. I called the store and the cashier told me orders placed after 9pm are processed the next day, I told her my order was placed at 6pm but it was ok, I'd like to just cancel my order... She put me on hold. Came back on the line and said, you can come in and pick it up. Hmmm, I thought perhaps they found it was easier to fill the one item order than to go thru cancelation process...but then I realized she didn't ask for my name...so I asked are you sure I can go in and my order will be available to pick up, yes, come on in. I go, when I get there one cashier in liquor dept. A line of 8 customers ahead of mea manager comes up to help her with a void...I asked him if he could help with my order pick up or if I needed to wait in line, he offered to grab it. He couldn't find it and began to question if I'd even placed an order. He calls another manager and she stomps up tells me we are short staffed your order won't be done til tomorrow. I asked her why then when I called did the cashier tell me I could pick it up...the cashier looks up and says I didn't know what to say when she asked♀️. So I told the manager please cancel my order. She said I can't do that you have to do it online I pulled out my phone with the message that says to call the store for cancellation...she said we aren't allowed to touch customers phones...now I was upset...I raised my voice and said cancel my order or fill it your incompetence as a manager with an untrained staff is not acceptable, she stepped toward me and said you put the order in too late what do you expect...I said I expect you to cancel my freaking order...the security guy walks up about to take my arm I snapped at him, don't you dare Humpty Dumpty....I went the next morning to pick up my order and have it refunded the entire experience was a joke. I've not returned to that location.
I am in town to Albuquerque for the first time for a conference. 2 nights in a row I've witnessed extremely poor customer service. First night, a doordash driver was trying to use some type of payment that seemed to have been supplied by the cashier. They were both getting frustrated as the card would not work in the payment device and the line was getting extremely long. He apologized to the customers for his troubles, and though I did hear what the cashier said, replied that she didn't need to treat him poorly. With that the second older cashier had only came to the second terminal a few moments before and stood up for her cashier telling him they could just deny his purchase. Soon after, the first cashier seemed to hand him a replacement and it worked. Not sure what was the problem. The second night a group of obviously middle age people came in with one person wanting to buy cigarettes. I realize the group was a little loud, but they were having fun and not harming anything. The same cashier I believe (older) was requiring everyone in the party to shoukd their ID for one person to purchase cigarettes. Once 2 of the 4 people left the building, she then required them to have them come back in to show them their ID again before they would allow the purchase. I don't believe it's Albuquerque law to card everyone in a party for such a purchase, but regardless, the cashier was making extreme requests and clearly in the wrong. If this is my primary experience with Albuquerque, I would never return.
I shop at this Walgreens a lot and it's my primary pharmacy. But lately the cashiers at the front have been very slow to provide good customer service. Today as I got in a very long line at the registers, I saw there was only one cashier. She waited until there were nine parties in line to call for backup!! When backup arrived, it was a very slow moving young lady who was in no rush to help out, and she was ON HER CELL PHONE as she meandered up to the counter. Other times that I've come in recently, I've noticed cashiers in the liquor department who are actively on personal phone calls WHILE CHECKING OUT CUSTOMERS. They just continued their discussions while ringing people up, and these phone discussions have included lots of cursing. Management of this location really needs to do something about these issues.
I went to multiple days in a row to pick up a prescription, they were out of stock, told me to come back next day so I did. Still out, told me to come back the next day so I did. I asked when it’s coming in and the girl said “if it didn’t come in, it didn’t come in” with an attitude. I’m sorry, I came 3 days in a row, no one offered any solutions, such as offering to call when it’s ready. And as I’m walking away the girl said “it’s only (prescription).” No, it’s my time, the lack of communication, the lack of care and concern, you would be upset too if you were told multiple times it will be here tomorrow. Updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars because I went to check on prescription, the person helping me this time was professional, took the time to explain what the delay is and offered solutions.
The “office manager” hung up on my face three times, as soon. As she heard my voice… CLICK! Mind you I have bad strep throat I can barely talk I can barely move my body I have a burning fever and she refuses to help me, I’m assuming cuz I was explaining how they gave me the wrong medication last night and she didn’t even let me finish my sentence and RUDELY and HATEFULLY INTERRUPTED me and I asked her to plz not interrupt me and she hung up on my face, I called back multiple times after that, and like I said as soon as she heard my voice she hung up on me! Mind you it took 3-5 minutes just to get through. I can’t believe there are really miserable people like that. So hateful. They shouldn’t be working there if they can’t be empathetic and professional.
I had a so bad experience on Christmas day. I wanted to buy products on sale but at the cashier register the prices for those products were different from yellow stickers sale prices. I had to wait and then even show the young man who works at Walgreen's the sale yellow stickers on those products I wanted to buy. He was very mean and said that these stickers are old. So why they don't update them? I am customer and I want to buy products whose prices are good for me. It's their job to post correct prices and update yellow stickers sale prices. I have been customer for two years at this place but on Christmas day i had a very bad day. I don't understand how Walgreen's hire people like this young man. I would never come here again.
Garbage service. Worst service I’ve ever had filling prescriptions. I went there to pick up my prescriptions after getting a tooth pulled was told a 20-30 minutiae. I called after 2 hours they tell me they had the wrong number. I show up they tell me the system is slow and that it will take 3-4 hours. Total wait time in line was about 90 minutes. Wasted. Also drove there twice and waited on the phone another 30 minutes. Took 35 minutes to get my prescription papers back so I could go elsewhere. Very rude staff specially a lady in her 60’s who looks like she’s overdue on dyeing her hair. Will never go here again, super slow and terrible customer service. Not the first time something like this happens at this location.
This location has awful customer service lol I just called about an online order and the girl that picked up the phone told me ummm I don't know I'm a little busy let me check on it in a minute " so I waited patiently even though I thought that was a weird thing to say and then when she came back and asked me my name I had to tell her 3 different times and I literally spelled it out for her with the whole b as in boy a as in apple thing and she still couldn't get it so then she transfers me to a manager.and he said he would look for it so I said okay thank you and he said bye and hung up! They were super rude too especially the girl when I called back
The new female pharmacist is very rude and unprofessional. Also the black girl that works in the pharmacy is also very rude, unprofessional, and has no idea about customer service. The reason I don't know her name is because she won't tell me when I asked her. Marcos,Francis, and Elsie are the reason I stay coming back for the last 15 years. You need more representatives just like them. If these new workers do not change they're attitudes, you will lose a lot of business. Me included. Which means no customers, no business....the date today is 11-15-22.
The pharmacy staff is similar to a bag of a sweet & salty snack. You have a few who will go the extra mile for you and the others who could give two flocks about you or your situation. On any given day, this place runs with zero structure, worthless leadership and lack of prioritization. Their excuse? “We’re busy”. Come on pharmacy manager. We know you’re getting up there in years of experience, but pass the torch if you’re don’t have it in you to lead that team. Your perception is horrible regardless of what your production numbers look like.
Very sick, I dragged myself to this pharmacy to get a prescription for an antibiotic. They refused to fill it because the paper prescription I had was , in their words, unsigned. It had an electronic signature. What did they think? I forged this elaborate document to try to score an antibiotic for recreation? Ridiculous. Similar prescriptions were filled without hassle. Now I have to call Pres and drag myself out of bed to go back after it’s straightened out—if it gets straightened out.
started working there my second day and i was not trained on register at all they gave me 3 MINUTES of training and i have a infection so i am already stressed and i got to walk to the register hearing the manager talking bad about me like seriously ive only been there training for that day and i only got trained 3 MINUTES and then threw me on by myself i have always wondered why i see new people working there I KNOW why now…very stressful please treat new workers better!
Horrible Customer Service- Must have been tele-ported to Hitler-Germany because I was treated by three different employees like dirt. Had been, stress, "had been," customer for more than twenty years with rewards card, Rx, grocery, health and beauty, everything, but no more. Not with this pattern of abuse, returning my rewards card and never returning again. Good Riddance. Not to mention this was the location by house, had been going there as a regular, nah, no thank now.
This is my fifth attempt walking in the heat to fill my scripts. Hopefully they'll get it this time, doubtful as their computers aren't working. I don't know how Walgreens can call themselves a pharmacy when they're always closed or incompetent. Smith's grocery pharmacy is open more often and much more accommodating. Never again Walgreens! Oh and if you use their 'convenient' drive thru make sure you have a full tank of gas.
The male employees that I have encountered on several trips to this location are extremely rude, they don’t care about customer service they are rude when trying to drop off packages and do not collect the correct information because they are always in a rush even when no customers are in line! I’m sorry but if you do not like your job then find something else instead of treating people bad
The best part about this store is the customer service. Recently, I went in and the cashier alerted me to the fact that the box of kitty liter I had purchased was leaking. I wouldn't have known that in less she checked. She was very nice about it and made sure I had a good box before I left the store. This isn't the first time I have had helpful and friendly cashiers here. Highly recommend!
Personally this location is convenient; the issue lies with the staff. I typically arrive in the morning to pick up items before heading to work. Every time, no matter the cashier, the staff is always on their phones and don't acknowledge customers. I don't care to feel I'm bothering "you" at your place of work. Very unwelcoming. The Security personnel are kind.
This Walgreens was a pleasant experience considering how many transients are in the area and milling thru the parking lot. The staff I spoke to inside the store where always pleasant to talk to and nice enough. Sometimes it's a little sketchy to park in the parking lot depending on who's loitering around, but I come here doe curbside pickups and runs for hooch.
I would have to say this Walgreens is by far one of the best in Albuquerque it's pharmacies stand-alone above none they're very helpful willing to work with you very courteous non judging I think they're great I would highly recommend the 12th Street Walgreens and the 12th Street Walgreens Pharmacy out of any of the Walgreens in town they are by far the best
Pharmacy constantly is closed for staffing issues. I get it’s short staffed but I can’t get my daughter’s antibiotics because they’re holding it there and supposedly no other pharmacy can fill it. You’re telling me they can’t even staff one person to release prescriptions that are filled or to transfer them?! This has been 2 days already. Unacceptable!
Ordered a 40 dollar photo with the same day pick up and when I went to pick it up i paid for it and was given a 3 dollar photo told them it was the wrong one and they said no one who was on shift knew how to do that specific photo and that if I can back the following morning it would be ready Got there at 2 the next day and still not ready
Basic neighborhood pharmacy. The staff is usually very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Generally it's good for popping in for a few things, prescrips or alcohol. Though if you're going on a Friday or Saturday night for something to drink you may be disappointed, they've been a little short staffed recently.
Worst Walgreens avoid if you can, clueless and rude, placed an order online that the claim they never had had even though I had a confirmation of order amd this was after being put on hold forever, they are always clueless and rude now I have to go through the process of getting a refund
Very very very bad they were very mean and rude the got mad because we didn’t have the right mask and it was very bed I am going to call and tell the manager and I will never be coming back there I hope they go out of Business Business because they don’t know how to run a store
How is this store temporarily closed for a week? My doctor send my prescription there. Called another walgreens and they can't find it because the 12 street walgreens systems are down. This is very dangerous. They don't care about there patients.
Used to be great but now every time we go for a prescription refill that we call in and are told it will be refilled, it is not ready or they say doctor needs to do a new order. At least let us know so we don't waste our time for nothing!
Best Walgreens in Albuquerque. Every staff member is friendly, helpful, and eager to please. I drive several miles out of my way to go to this store instead of to the one closer to my house, simply because of the service.
Unless you're planning to almost go postal every time you say to yourself eff it, I'll try for the 6th time to get liquor, just breathe and skip it. It's the most infuriating situation.
I walked up to the door at 9:53 and was told I could not come in because they were closed, even though they don’t close until 10:00pm. The lady who was closing the door was very rude.
This place has gone to the ****. It's closed a good part of the time, for no electricity.. meanwhile every business around is still open. Perhaps the manger needs to be reassigned.
I rely on the text/voicemail updates for my prescriptions so I can't block the number but would be great if they'd stop robo calling about their unrelated services. Super lame.
Great place great people in pharmacy it's ashamed that medina holding Walgreens responsible for security medina like I always said is the worst police chief ever
Shame on Walgreens corporate for not improving conditions for pharmacy staff and all staff. I will be switching pharmacies to somewhere they treat staff better!
I always come here for Xbox video game cards. It can be crowded sometimes but the workers are very quick and will help you with anything you could need
Store closed due to being short staffed!! Lol Walgreens hire the homeless that burn trash in the behind the back of your store... They need jobs.
The cashier looked sad and/or tired. Hated to bother her but I wanted my soda and use my discount. I wished her a nice evening anyway.
These monsters refused to sell me baby products for my BABY IN NEED. I had the money but they simply refused me and LAUGHED IN MY FACE
The best Walgreens in albuquerque. The pharmacy department is friendly, fast, and respectful. And the cashiers are amazing.
Taylor is the best clerk ever! Super helpful & nice, great attitude, was above & beyond helpful when he didnt have to be!
Austin was very helpful in the liquor department - he was able to guide us to what we were looking for.
Dirtiest Walgreens I’ve ever been in and rude cashier female at the alcohol area department.
Very pleased with this location nice stuff very helpful & very clean as well stalked …
Cashier was rude and couldn’t apply a simple coupon.Four items at 99 cents is not $7!!!
