Got ripped off. I put $5 in and almost immediately the hose fell off. I went to the attendant station and the only person who helped was a young man who had already clocked off. He took me to whoever was in charge of repairs. I was then instructed to wait by my car. I did so for approximately 5 minutes and the repair guy walked up with a clipboard, a ladder and $2. He instructed me to fill out the paperwork... For $2?!? He reattached the hose and starts to walk off and I let him know I had put $5 in. He then states that he’s only allowed to refund $3.... I ask, “why did you only give me $2?” After about 30 seconds of nonsensical explanations I ask if he can understand that I put $5 in the machine, got $0 worth of service from the machine and that $2 as a refund seemed like theft? He was unable to wrap his noggin around that so I asked for his managers # because making a decision over $5 was clearly beyond his skill set. He returned with “Dan’s” #... Which he wrote down incorrectly on his 1st attempt because he had to White-Out and rewrite. At least that explains the 10 minutes I waited for him to return. I called Dan The Washman and left a voicemail explaining my situation. It’s been an hour and there has been no response. I fully realize that it’s only $3 but theft is theft and at this point, either Dan The Washman is a thief, his employee is a thief or at best grossly incompetent. I just used my vacuum at home. So should anyone reading this.

This Washman location is not a full-service car wash. They only run your car through an automatic wash tunnel. There is no service where you can pay someone to clean the inside of your car or detail the outside of your car. I drove 30 minutes to get to this place thinking it was full service (the listing says it is!!) only to be very disappointed. In addition, the Washman gift card I was going to use to pay for the wash was declined. That gift card has $100 on it but the machine reader kept rejecting it. There was no attendant in sight to help me work this out. I know there is a labor shortage right now, but this wasn’t a labor problem. The machine reader should accept Washman gift cards. The Washman google listing should clearly indicate that this is not a full-service car wash like all other Washman locations are.

Well....at this stage of the " Human " evolution..I am shocked there aren't massive protests to call this place Wash Him/ He..or Washthey. WashMAN is THE best run business in OR, and you might say.." well that's not saying alot". Though your correct, Washman is still amazing. A staple of Poortown, every location has the friendliest and hardest working employees. Ruthie at the main office is amazing..they go out of thier way to make sure you are above and beyond satisfied. Get the monthly unlimited washes..cannot beat it. Highest recommendations, I would use it as my personal shower if they would allow.

Total garbage. Had problems with the Washman near the convention center (paid ~$50 for a wash and detail that resulted in only my floor mats being clean and having to go somewhere else), but assumed since this one was more local it might be better. Car came out like 25% more clean. The back is still really dirty like it didn’t even get sprayed with soap/water. Won’t be going here or a Washman location anytime soon. Save your money and go to a self-wash or do it at home!!!!

Unfortunately you have to pay for the vacuums here. It also shares a parking lot with a gas station and is located on a corner of a somewhat busy North Portland intersection so entering and exiting can be a bit hectic and can take some patience. They also don't dry your car after you exit the wash. Some of the employees are friendlier then others. At my last wash, the guy wouldnt even look me in the eye and didnt do a great job with the prewash spray on my car ‍♀️

Washman really is a great company! Their customer service is really good. I just lost a light reflector to my car and they got back to me immediately saying that they found it and will keep it for me until I can pick it up. I have their membership pass and they’ve always been so responsive with a couple windshield replacements (thus membership RFID tag replacement too) I’ve had. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!

I came here to use the vacuum- and called ahead to ask about them. No one answered. The sign above the vacuums says “for customers only” so I paid for a car wash, only to find the vacuums were not included, cash only, and they wouldn’t help get me cash to use them. Paid for a car wash I didn’t want and didn’t even get to vacuum, due to poor communication and no information

Went through the car wash and it only half cleaned the car. Meanwhile another car ahead of us had a whole section ripped off. Went to go ask if we could go through a second time and no employees to be found. Vacuums only accept $1, no quarters, no change given. Couldn’t locate anyone available to break a $5. Scrubbed our car by hand after having paid for a wash.

I went for a car wash and the service is really bad the first time I went there and when I went for another car wash a couple weeks later this guy was honking from behind and only to find out that my rear spoiler had snapped and overturned and some paint damage and it really frustrating because they don’t take responsibility of this kind of damages to your car!

Excellent customer service here here. I had no problem getting my propane tanks filled. Most places people act as if they don't know how to do it just to get you out of their hair. The young man that helped me today got a $5 tip for not being lazy like the other guy who has a beard and works there. Lol!

This is a decent car wash. There are several around. You can avoid the line by going to the drive-thru on MLK and Clay streets. The only downside to that one is the scary turn you make to get onto the carrier belt. Haha you’ll know what I’m saying when you go there. But seriously.. no line!

Good experience here. There was no line to wait in and overall it did a pretty good job cleaning my vehicle though it didn’t get all of the dirt off my car so when I went home I still had to do some scrubbing of my own. But the prices are reasonable for a full auto car wash.

Still think price is too high and they forgot to clean a cubby hole for various items since it was sticky and gunky but they did correct that. Overall they did a good job but probably will not go there again. Spendy.

I just got a brand new car a week ago. I decided to bring it here where I paid $12 for a wash that didn’t clean my car and scratched it all up. I have scratches all over my hood, my trunk, and the sides.

The wash was okay but why on earth do they still charge for vacuum service when other Washmans provide it for free? Save your money and go to one of their other locations until they fix this.

Attendant didn't bother to power wash the leaves out of the hood by the wipers or scrub the bugs off the hood and grill. Kinda important when you get a wax job. Just glued them to the paint.

I got the 15$ wash, they had to run my car twice still didn't clean my car and in the process it broke my wind shield wipers. So this 15$ car wash cost me 40$ and my car is still dirty.

Was looking for a detail car wash but this is a diy place. Over than that it’s good. Take one for the vacs tho as the machine won’t double the time if you put in $5 instead of $2…

Perfect for a quick wash and dry for $8. Entrance is on the North side, turn down side street, turn right to enter and stay left of drive through until you hit a pay station.

Automated. Could not use my coupon. Had to pay for vacuuming. Most Washman have free vacuuming service. Didn’t wash my car as well as the Washman out at near the airport.

First time using this car wash and was very impressed on how clean it got my truck especially The wheels and tires. Its hard finding a place that does a good

Terrible vacuums not strong at all. $2 for 5 minutes. Only takes cash and they cut off 3min early for the 10 min I paid for. Better off doing it at home.

Wash is fine. Vacuums are useless. I went home and ran an extension cord to my vacuum to finish the job. No suction power on wash man vacuums.

This one doesn't offer free vacuums with a car wash. And the turns are so tight to get into the wash my suburban requires a 3 point turn.

A bit over priced for what you get. They expect you to also pay to use their vacuums as well as the wash. I normally use Kaddy carwash.

Your car gets clean but then they charge you for vacuuming (2 bucks for 5 min!) and don't give a wipe down rag during car wash.

Was complicated to pay using their gift card. No one around or offered to help. Ended up not getting the level wash I wanted.
