I live over an hour from Ottawa. On Oct 29 I bought 3 Apple Pecan salads to take out. Got home, partner dug in and ate his. Son got 1/2 way through his and almost put what he found in his mouth (see pic). I had not taken a bite of my salad. Tried calling store, no answer. Returned to the restaurant on the 31st with the one uneaten salad, the 1/2 eaten salad and the empty container for the one that my partner ate only to be told they could only refund 2 of them and not the one that was eaten. I asked for the supervisor. That was a mistake. I explained the situation and showed her the thing in the one salad. She told me she could only refund 2 salads but not the eaten one. I repeated how my partner was gagging off and on all evening because of the thought of having eaten from the same batch as that thing. She still said no after I tried to reason with her. She then started saying that she really didn't have to do anything at all for me but would still be willing to refund 2 of them. My irritation got the better of me and I said 'Are you (insert bad word) kidding me?' and repeated again that my partner was gagging all evening and that my son almost ate that thing. She said that I could not use that language and I immediately apologized. (I agree that I should not have used such language). Seeing as other people were paying attention she then repeated that multiple times for no reason and each time I said I apologize. 6 times. She then kept saying can I speak now? Can I speak now? Yet I was not stopping her from speaking. Each time I said 'go ahead' and she would continue with 'Can I speak now?' I am quite sure she was doing this to try and make the onlookers think I was not letting her speak. I decided I would take my salads and go. She actually tried to stop this from happening by putting her hands on top of the salads and my bill. I said these are mine, I paid for them, I am leaving with them. She relented with the salads and I put them back in the bag. Then I slid my bill back along the counter from beneath her hand and left. In hindsight, I easily could have taken half the uneaten salad and put some in the empty container before returning them and pretended there were 3 unfinished salads. That would have gotten me a full refund I am sure but that's not my style. I will never go back.

What a disaster! We went through the drive through around 3pm today (Saturday, 11/04/23) Afteer waiting in line in the drive through for 20 minutes (not an exaggeration) we finally got to the first window, paid for our meals, and then waited again for the cars ahead of us to clear the second window. The buns were soggy, and the fries were cold. I parked the car, went into the restaurant to complain and asked for hot fries. The restaurant was filled with people at the cash register waiting for their meals. Everyone looked frustrated, and the staff on duty appeared bored and disconnected from the situation. The young guy at the cash threw out my fries, and replaced them with more lukewarm fries. I left in disgust. I suppose I should have known better than to have visited this location, we've had bad service in the past, but we were shopping in the area and simply wanted to grab something on the go. Avoid this location at all costs. It SUCKS!!

Filthy dirty counter by the cash and all the tables looked sticky with food and smears. Sticky floors. Bathroom? I have been in porta-potties that are cleaner and smell better. The trash container outside by the entrance reeks of old rotting food. How appetizing. there is a difference between a place that has been so busy that it was hard to keep up with cleaning and a place that is neglected. This was pure neglect. I worked in restaurants long enough to know the difference. Very bad/nervous atmosphere too. Employees either looked scared or angry. Not a hello or even a word was said at the cash. Just a blank look once in my direction. While waiting, someone was complaining about their order and a woman that I assume was a supervisor or manager was speaking to this person in a loud and condescending manner. Awful really. But then that kind of made sense to why the atmosphere felt so strained. Bad management equals bad atmosphere equals unhappy employees equals bad service. Will driving right on by next time.....

This has to be one of the worst locations in Ottawa, you'll be left waiting and waiting or not be served at all while the staff stares at you from the back, I've gone in and been completely ignored standing at the counter, and as for drive through, i got to the location at 6:02 Saturday night, no one said anything over the speaker (it was drive through) until i had to ask if anyone was there only to be told to wait a minute, eventually we ordered, the staff hung around the drive through window and didn't bother letting us know it would be a while (the parking lost was empty and only one person behind me so i'm assuming it was uber eats orders) until i was finally able to make eye contact with one of the staff we didn't end up leaving until 6:33 and didn't even have our whole order which was only one a burger combo and an order of fries.. don't go there during the evening, it's like this every time i go.

Absolutely discusting??? I thought Covid would have tough above all else "cleanliness ". I should have taken photos to back up this review. I have never been so grossed out. To start with there is a garbage can outside the entrance door. There is garbage overflowing and bags stacked ontop of the cans. Looks like a thrift sale . The floors must be mopped with a dirty mop head. You can see the filth. I used the washroom to wash my hands before eating . By the mend urinal you can see that someone spit a loogie on the wall about 5 ft up. There is snot on the walls and the back of thd door is black with grime. Clearly cleanning isn't being done. I sat down to eat and pulled my chair out from the dirty table and my hands literally stuck to the back of the chair. I asked for a cleaning cloth and was given a wet wipe. I've worked in the restaurant industry . If that were my store I'd have to shut it down and scrub the place from top to bottom. Absolutely gross. Pass on by.

!!!!WARNING!!!! I purchased chicken nuggets from this location and my dipping sauces all had mold in the BBQ sauces, when I addressed this to the restaurant manager she denied that the fuzzy substance was mold and refused to stop handing it out despite 15 seperate dipping packets had fuzzy mold on the top of every sauce opened in front of her. She tried to tell me it was a fresh box they just put out but the flavor on the box did not match either of the sauces inside the box which was proof enough that they only refill the box using dipping sauces from other boxes. Should this be corrected and the manager reprimanded then I have no problem removing this post. Should nothing have been done then this post will remain and be reposted as a health and safety warning to everyone who wishes to come to this location.

This place is almost comically bad. What sort of accident results in the *entire floor* from wall to wall being so sticky that it makes a loud noise when someone walks over it? Did someone accidentally mop the floor with Sprite? Beware of the drive-through here. You are taking a chance of getting trapped behind the building in the drive-through lane if someone in front of you takes forever to get their order. There were several women working in the kitchen with long hair hanging in their face while preparing food, which is pretty gross. They did, miraculously get my order correct but everything was smashed and messy with ketchup all over the outside of both wrappers. Very pleasant for eating in the car. I'm going to find a different Wendy's.

I hadn't eaten at a Wendy's for a couple of decades . They were a good chain when they originally opened but today's experience will probably lead me to other fast food chains for the next decade. There were about a dozen employees behind the counter and not only did my order take at least ten minutes to get ready, they all appeared very unorganized and carefree. The fries were good but my sandwich was just so-so. For the prices charged here there are much better choices for fast food + service. 3 stars is a generous rating.

usually this location is okay but today was my worst experience at a wendys ever. When I walked in the drive thru was not that full and the line inside the restaurant was not that packed either. It took about 25 minutes to get food. It appeared that every single customer in front of me had some kind of issue with their order. When I received my food and went to the drink machine, every option was greyed out except "sugar free" and "diet". I waited at the counter again to ask if they could poor me one behind the counter and explained that I did not want a diet drink and asked for a normal root beer. I received a diet root beer and the clerks disappeared into the back again. I just gave up and got my drink elsewhere.

This Wendys location is spectacular!! Every other Wendy’s need’s to take notes. Every time i’ve come here they have always greeted me extremely quick (inside store) I typically try to avoid the drive-through because it is busy but that’s all fast food! The cashier ALWAYS is polite, and attentive. My order has never been wrong here. I will drive extra just to come to this Wendy’s because the Wendy’s in other areas are so terrible!!! Whoever is running this place needs a raise! he is always so kind to his staff and the customers. Good job guys!

I went inside as the drive through was packed and the location was pretty much deserted. The one numpty working tried to charge me $12.68 for a Bacinator combo despite it costing $10.49 up on the board. He kept insisting that it was because of extras that I added. I order mine with ketchup only (ie. NO MAYO). How that is considered extra, I will never know. The associate also tried to convince me that the price listed is for a "single bacinator" (this is not a thing that exists). The board clearly says: BACONATOR (1/2 Lb. * double) $10.49 I was going to purchase 2 combos, but I ended up just leaving. Worst run location in Ottawa!

Disappointed... we had family take out at the drive thru and when I brought it home for the family, we were missing a medium fry and a double cheese burger had magically turned into a sparsely dressed single cheese burger. Ordered our food off of Door Dash at 9:15pm and they don’t close until 10:00pm. It was very apparent they were just giving us whatever they had left instead of our order. We ordered 2 bacon cheese baked potatoes and they gave us 2 small cold fries instead with sour cream. Instead of 3 6 piece nuggets, we received 5 nuggets and 6 chickens strips, also cold to touch. The chilli cheese were reheated in the plastic container as you can see the melted plastic in the photos. No dipping sauce even though it says it was included. Bacon cheese burgers looked disgusting and iced cold.

Wendy's is usually my go to for fast food as they normally accommodate my order of just patties due to dietary restrictions. Even when they are slammed they usually manage to be friendly and helpful. When I tried to order my usual at this location the cashier attempted to punch it in but when she asked the manager for assistance ringing my order in she rudely just stated, "we don't do that here," without the least bit of politeness or even an explanation. I totally understand if they have a different menu policy than other wendy's since they are franchises but I would have been fine with a simple respectful explanation.

Went through Drive-Thru tonight for my family's supper. Ordered 4 spicy chicken wraps, only received 2...and even those were made wrong, with cheese SLICES instead of shredded. Ordered an Apple Pecan salad NO Blue Cheese but WITH an add on of SHREDDED cheese, received a salad with warm processed cheese SLICES. This location is ultra CHEAP. Something clearly needs to be addressed here.... This many mistakes shouldnt be happening. EMPLOYEES NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE ORDERS!!!

Horrible customer service, lots of little girls working there that seems to think they are making 6figures... it's fast food, its minimum wage and your like 12 years old. Learn to respect the people who come to your store, or learn to collect welfare. The "Manager" if you can consider her that.. is just as bad as her immature staff. I have also contacted Wendys Head Office, and will continue to do so until this store is re-vamped. It's about time after 4 years of sub-par products and the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Today felt like the rookies were on shift. They made the nachos first and then everything else took some time. The chicken inside the wrap was not crispy, spicy with mayo, as ordered, but plain with ranch. By the time this was rectified, the nachos were soggy. Just a bit unpleasant overall I've been to this Wendy's before and had great service and a great meal.

Hubby gets takeouts from this location almost every Saturday in the past 3 months. They definitely make their Dave's single burger with love. All ingredients are fresh with just the right amount of ketchup and mayo every single time. My only complain is we always ask for no straw (we bring our own glass straw to be environmentally friendly) but they always put straws in the paper bag (it's like their default setting)...hopefully, they can change to paper straw like A&W does soon to save the environment.

very clean restaurant the locations of give or take when it comes to being busy I haven't been here weird hours as in night or evening so I wouldn't know how it is during those hours but during the day and the afternoon Rush that I've been here lines move fairly quickly the staff are very professional and friendly. There's ample parking space and the only bad thing I guess I would say is the fact that they run out of items pretty quickly for example baked. potatoes. other than that no complaints

If your looking for cheap food, that's better then McDonald's, Wendy's is by far the best choice with amazing Jr bacon cheese burgers for like 3 dollars each anywhere else your spending 10 dollars to get some food, love this place and the service was solid

I waited for 10 minutes for the cashier to complete her first order. Then I told her I am ready to give my order. Then she was fuming she only has two hands and she knows I am ready. Severely understaffed. There was no one else in drive thru OR store and we waited 20 minutes with no service or indication on what was happening. Get to window, the old lady worker who CLEARLY needs to retire was extremely rude and unprofessional yelling at us saying she is “busy” when there was no one in line. Do not come here, went to a different wendys and got served in less than 5 minutes.

It was always great in the past. The other day they got my order wrong (out of the store) three times and I had to return each time to correct just my combo. The staff was the same staff they've had for a while (says something about my dietary habits that I know who their staff are), so it wasn't a newbie mistake. Hopefully just an anomaly. Food was properly done as always at that location.

Always forget something from the order and the chicken is always disgustingly old, dark, and dry. Do not waste your money here, I will not spend another cent at this location. The area manager should really do a better job of addressing order accuracy and holding times and make sure the store manager holds their employees accountable for unacceptable food products. Frosty was good though :/

I haven't been to a wendy's in a lot time. This place was great, the lady who served us was awesome! She was super friendly and very patient. As I said I haven't been there in years. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to friends. The burgers were also pretty good. But the lady who served us, she was the real cherry on top. Keep up the good vibes and hard work!!!!

Staff shirts read, "We don't cut corners" the staff also don't wash their hands or bother to put on a pair of gloves after working the register and turning around to make food for customers. Gross. Slow service. Dirty bathrooms. Eat elsewhere.

Managers, you need to figure out some staffing if there are this many issues. I sat in the drive through tonight for twenty minutes before my order was taken (not exaggerating), but I couldn’t leave because I was boxed in by parked cars. Maybe the employees are slow, but my bet is that it’s more related to staffing than anything else. Will not be back to this location.

The best part of this place is how they acknowledged they are so slow. They even added an exit to the drive-through lane cause the odds of running out of gas are so high that they have to let you leave. We waited 20 min in line (3 cars ahead of us) and the 5 at the speaker box. No one answered the box, so we used the exit. Sad.

I mobile ordered, but once I arrived the inside of the store was closed so only the drive thru was open. This wasn't stated anywhere on the app and we mobile ordered because we were in a rush. Wendy's, for me, is the perfect in-between burger place. Mcdonald's is cheap (especially with coupons!), but tastes frozen--Five Guys is top tier, but too expensive to eat frequently. Wendy's has a great value and I can hardly complain about the food. This location has always been consistent for me, and a staple of fast food in Gloucester!

Their spicy and grilled chicken are both great but perhaps a little too much mayo. The calories on just their sandwiches aren't that bad but we skipped on the fries. We sat in the drive through with a line building behind us for a few min but sandwiches were hot.

Took the drive through and it was very busy at lunch, but very fast. Service was more than friendly. It’s great to hear good positive attitude over the speakers and great greeting at the window.

Very slow drive through. Must be new staff or short staff because this is the worst speed wendys has ever been. My past experience had my food ready before I moved to pick it up. I’m sorry if you have low staff, but you will get more bad reviews if it is not fixed. Also note that this is a Saturday before halloween.

All three employee's I had the misfortune of dealing with were all rude. Zero communication, just rammed a machine in my window and then food. No total, no have a good day, I didn’t even know when I had received all my food or not. Consumer service=failing marks

Place is very dirty. Main room and bathrooms. Staff was disorganized. Perhaps they are all new hires. The place was not busy when I was there so I don't understand why it was so dirty.

The staff is discriminatory and they close the restaurant early regularly by lowering the gate at the front desk 3/4 the way down. They take orders only from frontline workers from 9:00 on when I clearly supposed to be open to the public

My husband ordered a ceasar salad with is burger, no croutons, no parmesan cheese and no bacon bits. I've ordered a burger and bacon and cheese baked potato, bacon was burnt.

The drive threw was terribly slow. The staff was super friendly though and the food was ok. I would just recommend going inside. That's the third time the drive threw was slow Update! I went inside today and the place was very clean and very quick to serve me ill be changing fron a 3 to 4 star

Always good food. If you're not into fries, get the Chilli instead for no extra charge. More meat! This time they forgot to add crackers to the order for the chilli, otherwise no complaints. I'll definitely return.

Overall, it was very good. Their menu was a bit pricey, but fortunately, we had coupons which reduced each meal by $4.00 so it ended up to be more reasonable.

Food was good, as for the service. Nothing more or less that you can expect from a Wendy's. The only thing that was almost "weird" was the floor... It was so slippery, even if it was dry, it looks like they washed the floor with the same greasy water they used to wash the kitchen floor.

We waited roughly 18 minutes in line without anyone taking our orders. We even asked one of the employee to take our order and she just shrugged and walked away. Uber and skip are their only priority. We eventually walked away without ordering and went to harvey's accross the street.

Everytime I order a combo in the drive thru my fries are always forgotten about. And the employees could care less about the customers. Very unprofessional

Enjoy lunch here regularly, I use the drive through and it always quick and friendly service. The staff here work hard and are very pleasent at the window. The food is lovely. Thank you for your services and great food.

they reheat cooked Fry's or don't clean oil right? But you can tell when they mix hot greasy with cold .lol nice trick McDonald's does it to I worked at New York . Fry's and manager told me to do that or take cold ones and double dip in deep fryer lol.

They always have quick service and ensure that you get what you order. People who work there don't seem the most friendly, just trying to get you to go quick to keep up with their quota. Delicious food.

Slow service. Cashier turned around in circles and we never got to give our order after standing in line for 15min. I get that your low on staff, but the employees work ethic were just terrible and were in no hurry to accomplish anything productive.

This is the slowest drive through I've been in over all of my life. If Wendy's corporate is reading this pls help. I have been waiting in the drive through for 30 minutes and there's still a car in front of me. My morale is bad but I press onward!.

Condiment counter was filthy and empty the garbages were so full you couldn't put your garbage in them, and the bathrooms were very dirty and the employees were just lazing around doing nothing

So dirty, floors are all sticky and slippery. Employee used 2 pieces of same paper towell to clean all tables in the restaurant. Tables are so sticky and chairs full or crumbs. Lets better not talk about the fountain machine and walls. …

Love Wendy's but location's has horrible drive thru. 2 cars in front of me and 1st car placed there order then 10 minutes later the car in front of me still was not served. I drove over the curb and left. Slowest drive thru I have ever seen.

They advertised their breakfast with this meal coupon and We drove there for our breakfast in the morning and it was closed for the dining-in. So be careful, you can only drive-through your breakfast and the dine-in won’t open until 10am

First time to bring my family there. Got great food and service. Just the washroom may need more caring!

Had an absolute terrible experience here earlier today. Waited over 20 minutes to place an order with only 3 people in line infront of me. No sense of urgency at all from the staff or manager. If you want FAST food go elsewhere

It may have been an issue with staffing, but I got stuck in the drivethru line for 20 minutes before I could make my order... Then it was another 10-15 minutes to get it. Not-so-fast food option.
