Wasted a day off work I took my dog here for the 1st time and everything went well. I loved Dr. Randall and how caring she is with my baby. I scheduled a teeth cleaning for him. I asked question about what was expected because no information was voluntarily give at the time of appointment. I had to ask when is the last time he should have food. basic instructions fora surgery. I explained to the front desk that he had never been crated (so I was little worried about) we went over the pricing with Dr. Randall at the first visit and on the day of the cleaning all these other charges were presented to me which should have been disclosed. My dog at the time of scheduling was up to date on the rabies shot but by the time of the cleaning it was time for him to have his yearly by a week. None of this was talked about when telling us about the cleaning and what to expect. We got to the appointment expecting to pay once we picked him up but they wanted payment before the surgery. (Which wasn't a problem). She had already told us he was going to be the last surgery so I figured we had time to go to the bank. The problem was I had lost my bankcard the evening before So, we had to wait for the bank to open so I could get a new bankcard which took us about 45 mins with driving time. We get back and they tell us they can't do the surgery this day because it was past 9:30. I did not like the lack of communication from the front desk. Then a young lady came out telling us a totally different story as to why he couldn't be seen because she was not given the full story by her co workers. I like Dr. Randall but I'm not sure if I will be returning here for pet care or not. Very Disappointed!!

My dog Brodee was seen by Dr. Randal for sometime. After I noticed his lymph nodes enlarged on the back of his legs I brought him in. They were about the size of a small ping pong ball. She touched him for a couple of seconds and then said he was fine. Probably an ant bite she suggested. 3 months later he died from STAGE 5 Lymphoma Cancer. I was told by his emergency vet- that his swollen lymph nodes were the first indication of lymphoma cancer. Please do your due diligence, ask for sonograms when they aren’t offered - and go get 2nd opinions. I hate I didn’t follow my intuition sooner. My baby deserved a longer life. Not one cut short by something that could have been treated. His cancer can be treated effectively when identified early - we weren’t given the opportunity. Reply: That is correct, those where his external growths. We switched vets thankfully and those were all tested without surgery (against the surgery suggested by Dr Randall) instead they were tested via fine needle aspiration, and they were all benign. His new vet (reported his cancer after our 1st visit and provided a sonogram) Dr. Randall never reported the mass he died from which was internal. A sonogram was needed but not provided or suggested by Dr. Randall.

1/20/2022 The only complaint is how hard it is to get an appointment. It takes weeks to get seen. I love Dr. Randell she is the absolute best! Makes you feel special as if you and your pet are always remembered from previous interactions. They loved Sookie ❤ ♥ and treated her as if she was their own pet while she was there. The vet called me herself and let me know how everything went and what I needed to do for Sookie's well being. *********NEW REVIEW FROM 2/13/2021 BELOW********** I love West End Animal Wellness Center. All of the staff are very friendly and they treat Sookie as if she was their own. Dr. Randall takes her time in examining Sookie and explaining things to me to help take care of Sookie. I have noticed that Sookie does not have any anxiety when going or entering the vet. That shows that she does not have any negative feelings (which most dogs) exhibit when visiting the vet. Thanks again for your kindness too Sookie and myself.

My boyfriend and I have taken our dogs here. It's a great place unless you're trying to reach them. I haven't cracked the code recently, unfortunately. I've tried email, their online contact form, and calling to get info on my pet's treatment and am starting to think either they've gone out of business, or I have to take time off work to drive over there. The last time I went, they were still having customers stay outside in their cars pandemic-style. Not sure if they still are because they are impossible to get hold of. Their site says they are open from 8-5 M-T and T-F and closed two hours for lunch on those days. When I call I get a message saying to call back during business hours. It's 9:30am on a Friday, not a holiday, so I'm super frustrated. However, if a company is able to stay open and profitable with hours like that and without returning emails, it's nice work if you can get it. I just need some info so I can properly care for my dog.

I truly believe my dogs are cared for by Dr. Randall and her assistants. I trust she is thorough in her examination and she listens to my concerns. I love she gets down on their level to earn their trust and make them feel more comfortable. And this level of patient care is demonstrated by her assistants as well. It helps me feel more confident in choosing West End for veterinary care. Pricing is fair. There is a problem with customer support at the front desk. It is very difficult to get in contact with someone both by phone and by email. Calls go to voice mail and emails are not answered. This extends to trying to schedule appointments. If you can't get in contact, then there is no other way to book. The app no longer allows appointment scheduling. I hope this aspect of customer service is resolved. This practice is black owned and operated. I will keep going for the extraordinary in visit patient care and to support this business.

This is my baby Smokey. He's not even 2 years old yet. I've had him since he was 5 weeks old. I brought him to this clinic today and he doesn't look like this now. He is suffering from a severe allergic reaction to something and a lot of his hair is gone on both sides of his body. The staff and vet at this Animal hospital were soooooo professional, courteous, warm hearted, and just made you feel so welcomed and very compassionate about how you feel about you baby (your pet). They treated Smokey so gentle and gave him meds and I felt so comfortable with them handling my cat that I trusted they wouldn't tell me anything wrong and hurt him. Some vets just want to do anything to get money out of people but this clinic CARES DEEPLY for their clients and their patients. Thank you soooooo much. I thank God their still are genuine Angels that Love to do what they do and have a great heart!!!!

We changed Vets from VCA to West End Animal Wellness Ctr. We are first time owners and our first experience at the VCA wasn't a good one. We sought out to find a Vet who would make us feel comfortable and not be annoyed by us asking questions. We also wanted to find and support a black owned Vet business. My first impression over the phone didn't disappoint. Our first visit went above and beyond our expectations. The office was very clean and the staff was very inviting and friendly. They took all COVID precautions to make sure their customers are protected and feel comfortable. We were able to meet Dr. Randall and go in to a deep dive convo about the care for our pup. You can tell they love what they do. I would recommend West End to anyone who wants superb care. They make sure that you feel comfortable with the care and information they give you and your pup.

I've been taking my dog to West End Animal Wellness since they opened and am always impressed with Dr. Randall's patience with my now senior dog. We went for a teeth cleaning last week and I always get a little anxious about putting an older dog under anesthesia. The vet tech was sweet and allayed my concerns. When the tech brought him back to the OR and I heard Dr. Randall greet him, "Hey, Old man!" I immediately felt relieved and knew he was in capable, loving hands. She called me afterwards and gave me a full report, saying he did great under anesthesia and is a 16-year-old miracle! She's recently hired a new office manager and front desk staff which has made check in/out and prescription refills much smoother. I'm grateful to have a good vet in the neighborhood to care for my pup as he ages, and very proud to support a thriving black woman owned business.

I visited West End Animal Wellness Center on Friday March 15th for the first time. I was so impressed with the kindness of the staff. I must admit I was nervous trusting new vets with my baby, (MY CAT RIGBY), but they were so NICE!!!! I wish I knew the name of the vet who took care of my Rigby because she was SOOOOO SWEEET!!! They didn't push procedures down my through and even told me how I could go to get free shots for my cat the first Saturday in April. Also I want to mention my Rigby feels MUCH BETTER!!! He had an mouth infection and they diagnosed quickly and gave the correct long active antibiotic shot to clear his infection. And they called me a few days later to check on him to see if he was alright. Now he's back terrorizing my grand babies (he's only playing) and running around the house like a marathon runner. LOL

BEST VET EVER!!! My daughter's Miniture Schnauzer had an emergency. We called several Animal Hospitals and noone had availability for a SEVERAL days. When we called The West End Animals Wellness Center, when we explained the situation (vomiting, diarrhea, being lethargic, etc....)they were so concerned that they got us right in. Dr. Randall and her staff are AMAZING. They were so gentle with my daughters fur-baby that it made us absolutely convinced that we were in the right place. They are RIDICULOUSLY AFFORDABLE and PROFESSIONAL. The facility is super clean and it feels and it looks like a hospital for for kids. They are very informative and they do it all. They even have boarding. Please visit this Neighborhood Vet. You will not be disappointed. You will be highly pleased. This is our new forever Vet!!!

It’s been 3 years since I wrote my original review, and we’re down to just the younger dog now. I can say that West End Animal Wellness Clinic is wonderful with end of life care for your babies too. Even through the pandemic, our elderly cat and dog got excellent care, and we got wonderful support as we saw them across the rainbow bridge. Best vet ever! Our younger dog is in love with everyone there and drags me from the parking lot she can't get in there fast enough. They are sweet and wonderful about her overly exuberant love for them. Our older dog loves them too, and they're so good with him and his persnicketiness about having his feet and teeth messed with. And our cat likes them just fine, even though they interrupt nap time to poke at him, which is high praise considering he's a cat.

The doctor and her staff are excellent even in the midst of a pandemic. My visits are always pleasant and efficient, and I enjoy interacting with all the staff. I am especially grateful for the reasonable prices. My very senior kitty, Gemineye, does not show his age at all, and I am thankful these guys have helped me make sure his life is long, happy, and healthy. The location is also very cute and modern when the waiting room is open; you'll enjoy the professional atmosphere and other interesting clients as you await your appointment. And, also, parking is ample. All this right in the heart of my West End home? Can't beat it. Before transferring to these guys I had to drive all the way to Buckhead and pay almost double.

I’ve been taking my dog, Charlie, here for years (he’s 6). I love the doctors, but over the past year or so the customer service has sharply declined. I call and leave messages but never get a return call. I was charged a significant late fee for “missing” the 10-minute grace period that was not communicated prior to my appointment. I actually arrived within the grace period, but the phone wasn’t answered to let me in until the window had passed. After being a client for so long, some better communication would’ve been appreciated. Regardless, I wanted to continue as a patient there, but I haven’t been able to connect with someone to make our annual appointment. Sadly, our time there may be coming to an end.

The staff was AMAAAAAZING from the moment I walked through the door! The lovely lady at the front desk (with the long beautiful nails) had such a friendly disposition and made me and my dog comfortable before even going back to start the exam. Whatever she’s getting paid, is not enough because her energy set the tone for the visit! Then the doctors assistant was so sweet and loved up on my pup, further getting him comfortable for his impending shots. When the vet came in, we were already comfortable. She was the icing on the cake! Very kind, patient, explained things well, and thorough! The team here is superb! A1 and professional! I will be recommending this office to all my Fulton friends :)

Thank you all so much for the help that i got and thank you for helping my kitten. we loved it here and we felt welcomed here. This is my story... my cat BB was attacked by a dog in our neighrborhood. I saw the blood on her and I was so lost and worried i didn't know what was going on. My Husband put me and my BB in the car and took us here. I was so worried about her but the ladies inside were so nice and helped me so much. I am so thankful for them and the help that my cat got as well. My cat BB was grabbed by a pitbull. I thought she would have been injured severely but it turns out she only broke a nail. It was a miracle. thank you all so much for helping my BB.

Clean, welcoming environment. There was one lady at the front desk who seemed a little rude, however. Other than that, the veterinarians were extremely friendly and kind to my pet, who has been a stray most of her life and is generally terrified of other humans. With that said, I do have an issue with how quickly they treated my cat. She needed ear mite treatment, which required flushing the ears of all debris. I would have liked them to take a bit more time to make sure the job was done completely. Instead, it seemed like they were trying to go as quick as possible. All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Especially if this is your first time.

When you first arrive at West End Animal Wellness Center, the staff receptionist smiles. At a time when my dog was in pain from a broken nail, that smile reassured me that I had brought my baby to the right place. That smile also set the tone for a great treatment experience. It started with the drop-off at 8am. By the time I picked up my dog later in the afternoon, he had a neat and securely wrapped foot. I got excellent instructions on care as well as the necessary medications. I love that West End Animal Wellness Center is close to my neighborhood of Sylvan Hills. No heavy traffic and no nasty attitudes--just great customer service and loving care.

I have been working with West End Animal Wellness Center for over 2 years and I highly recommend them. Their whole staff is professional and could not be nicer. Dr. Randall is very kind and will call herself if she has any questions or needs any information. They go above and beyond to get our dogs appointments (we are a no-cost spay & neuter non-profit) for their spay and neuter and are reasonably priced. I have had a positive experience with every single staff member but have to give special mention to Shunta', Gerri and Dr. Randall as I have worked with them the most. I would give a review of 10 stars if they had the option.

I have had multiple a short history with West End animal hospital. This last one I had an appointment scheduled for several weeks. They called to confirm my appointment then a couple hours later called and asked me to drop off my puppies instead. When I arrived at my appointment time to drop off my pet I was told the drop off time was an 1 hours earlier than my appointment time and I would have to reschedule because I missed my appointment time. I was able to talk to the manager and they were able to squeeze me in. We were able to avoid what would have been a wasted day for me. Thanks for valuing my time.

West End Animal Wellness Center has made me a believer! I've had very poor experiences in the past with other veterinary practices and since taking my dog, Yoshi, there we have both been very happy with the service, friendly staff, empathy, flexibility, and overall fantastic care. Dr. Randall & Dr. Duncan are wonderful people and professionals that can manage my pup's physical and age-related challenges. Their staff all seem to know my dog by name from his frequent boarding visits and they show excitement when he arrives. Thank you for your great service and for putting both of us at ease

Dr. Herbert and her staff are so patient and have a true love for animals. My sweet Rottie (she’s really bipolar) always feels comfortable when she’s in the office. The vet is very honest and the prices are very reasonable. My husband and I had a huge mix up in a x ray schedule. They accommodated the mix up (we dropped our dog off on the wrong day) and made us feel as if it were no problem...even though I was totally embarrassed and fussing at my husband. My dog is a part of our family and deserves the best. With Dr. Herbert and her staff, she really is being serviced by the best. Thank you!!

With my previous pets, I always used the clinics inside chain pet retail stores, but I wanted a more personal experience. When we arrived, EVERY person that we interacted with was friendly and personable. The veterinarian was very personable, welcoming and informative when she met with me and reassured my daughter, who has a mildly aggressive dog, a detailed description about the steps that would be taken when she made an appointment for her dog to join the West End Animal Wellness Center. It felt like more than a mere visit. I left feeling like part of the family!

We found Dr Randall through a groupon years ago, we love the location and how we are treated when we visit. Over the years there has been some growing pains with maintaining quality customer relations but Dr Randall has always been attentive and caring; She saw our little girl through rounds of brain tumor and pneumonia treatments which was successful in extending her life another 12 months. Now that Dr Randall has transformed her space the quality of service has returned to what we expect and we will continue to take our newest babies to them for expert care.

This is the best vet I've been to. They are super nice and personable and caring, and very accommodating when our fur babies are nervous. They helped us out with a stray we took in, first in trying to find the owners, and then when the owners never responded they helped us adopt him and get all of his health needs taken care of. They've also been wonderful with my senior dog and my cat. I live in the neighborhood and it's so nice to have such a great vet just around the corner, and they are wonderful members of the community. Can't recommend them enough!

I feel absolutely great about taking my two dogs to this establishment! I've had weird experiences with other vets who didn't have the best "bedside manner" or who didn't seem to really care about the animals in their care. Not the case here. Doctor Ashley and her team are all extremely competent, personable, and caring. You can tell they all really love animals and are going to go above and beyond to be friendly, kind, and considerate. I also love their building - clean, contemporary, and modernly designed. I have nothing but good things to say!

I love how much all of the staff at West End Animal Wellness Center care for my pet. Not only do they confirm appointments, but they also call me after appointments to see how my girl is feeling, and if I have any questions. Dr. Randall and her staff give five star care each and every visit, and I'm sure I will continue to receive the same care from Dr. Collins, whom I have yet to meet. West End Animal Wellness Center has very reasonable rates, and I'm glad that I can support a small and busy business in my community.

Yesterday I went here with my puppy who was having a seizure they are very unprofessional and was giving me wrong information concerning my puppy Coco. Maybe it was the way I appeared but at the same time I didn’t care because I had never a dog to have a seizure. She’s okay now but as I left out the building they locked the door and said they were close and it said they were open until 5:00pm. I wasn’t trying to bother no one or nothing I was really worried about my pet and they didn’t make the situation no better.

Being new to the area, West End Animal Wellness Center was my first choice based on reviews and location proximity. I was NOT disappointed in my choice. The staff was attentive as soon as I walked in, from receptionist to the vet tech, both ladies were very kind and attentive to my cat and I. Dr. Randall came in, listened to the issues with my cat, and knew almost instantly what the problem could be. If you want a knowledgeable, professional, and kind staff, definitely check out West End Animal Wellness Center.

We love this vet office. Their staff is so kind and our pets (cats and a dog) seem at ease here. We recently switched from a different local vet, where my animals were definitely a lot more anxious. The clinic has transparent pricing and accurate quotes. They are also incredibly affordable, which is important when you have a multi-pet household, and expenses can pile up quickly with vets. We are definitely going to be clients of West Animal Wellness for as long as we live in Atlanta!

Great neighborhood clinic with caring employees & vets. I use veterinarian, boarding, and bath/nail trim services here for my dog. There are sometimes longer wait times for appointments, but generally the staff is helpful and knowledgeable about animals in varied specialty areas. Recommended. I'm really happy with West End Animal Wellness. The staff is really friendly, and they give careful attention to my pup, even down to putting her name on the sign to make us feel welcome. The interior is neat and clean. They're very intentional about moving the pets from the waiting area and into the individual rooms so there's not a lot of interaction. And the vet is kind and patient, even when my pup was feeling anxious. This group shows a lot of care, and I appreciate it!

Love the doctors here specifically. I wish I could give more stars but we can never get in touch with them when we call the office with our questions. We leave messages but never get a call back. We had an urgent question after our pup had surgery there and ended up going to another vet because we couldn't get in touch with Westend. Also the wait when we're in office for us have been painfully long. Great doc no doubt there but not the greatest customer service or follow up.

The desk staff and the Doctor are great! So caring and supportive! I brought in a stray cat, who has been living under our house for a couple months, because of worms and hair loss. Both the tech and the Dr. were very patient and loving with the cat. The exam, tests and meds were all only $150 - which I felt was surprisingly affordable. Also heard the Dr. and staff interacting with other clients with a very warm, friendly and sincere manner. Definitely recommend!

I came here today with my dog Thor and I Immediately felt that I finally found my dog a vet home. Everyone was so friendly and nice and the facility was super clean. Dr. Randall was very approachable and pleasant. I use to go to Banfield but after covid, the vets there no longer would sit down face to face and speak with the owners so I was looking for a more intimate setting and I’m glad I found it. Plus it’s also close to my home so we can walk here.

West end animal wellness center provides 5 star service to both you and your pet. My dog is anxious about vet visits but the staff here treated him with kindness. The staff starting at the front desk all the way to the actual doctor took time to make my dog and I feel comfortable during his visit. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants kind individuals to take good care of your pet. I can not wait to return for the next visit.

Such a great facility! Everyone is very friendly, organized, and make it a streamlined process every time I bring the pup here. He loves being showered with attention and treats every time we go. Dr Randall is fantastic! Very attentive, patient, and sweet with the animals. She always does follow up calls to check in after sick visits or procedures, such as dental cleanings. Highly recommend giving them a chance for your vet’s care.

Dr. Randle is the best. She took such good care of my boy Max when I had to put him down. He was 23 years old, really. She contracts with the city of Atlanta to offer free euthanasia. This was an awesome resolution to a awful decision. Older and sick pets cost a fortune and to know it didn't have to put me further in debt to have my boy peacefully put down was a huge relief. The facility was clean, the veterinarian team were competent and the visit was far quicker than most Urgent Cares I've been to. Its was Ginger and I first visit but the extraordinary customer care we got my search for a great Vet. is complete. Tests, shots, they do it all here.

I've been taking my dogs and cat to West End Animal Wellness for about 2 yrs now. Dr. Randall and her staff always greet me with a smile and are able to answer every question and concern. You can tell they love animals and have a thorough and extensive medical knowledge. They are also fair in their prices and won't push costly and unnecessary procedures. I have total trust in West End with my animal's healthcare needs.

I visited the West End Wellness Center recently and Penny and I had a very pleasant experience. I had to wait a few extra minutes for the vet to come in, but I didn't mind because I could hear her providing consoling info to the patients next door. She was loving and kind when she worked with Penny as was the staff who preceded her. The facility is spotlessly clean and I think all of us patrons felt comfortable there.

It feels good to have a vet in the neighborhood. No task is too big or too small. There’s a general love of animals. Combined with incredible knowledge of animals. They are playing the long game with your pets wellness. It feels good that Chat and Sidney have a family doctor in the same way that I have a general practitioner. And during the pandemic, they have not missed a beat and have been here for us. Thank you!

My 3 dogs have been there twice now and everyone is super nice and very knowledgeable. I just recently had to help one of my babies cross the rainbow bridge and they were the most accommodating and loving. The vet and vet tech laid in the floor with me and said “we aren’t leaving until you are ready”. They had blankets and the kindest regards. I am so grateful for everyone there.

I thought the whole experience was great. Since this was Luna’s first visit, I was glad to have gone inside with her and happy to see Covid safety protocols in place. The ladies at the front desk, the vet tech, and the vet were all fantastic. Dr. Randall took the time to answer all my questions, even when I called back with concerns after the visit. I’ll definitely be returning!

Not empathetic or tactful, very prideful. A smart person knows what to say, a wise person knows whether or not to say it. When a pet dies, that's not the time to be cold or focused on proving a point. Just show that you care. I would not go to a human Dr that only cared about money with no real compassion and understanding for me. Our animals deserve the same.

Thank you for treating my Toby with love and understanding! It was clear Dr. Randall and her staff were experienced and comfortable with Rottweilers. My dog gets nervous with shots but they handled him safely and calmly. Special shout out to Raven the vet tech for helping my dog feel more comfortable. We love Dr. Randall for both our dog and our cat!

Dr. Randall is the best vet we've ever had and worth the drive from Decatur. She and her staff are compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable. Dr. Randall genuinely loves animals and remembers all of my pets' quirks. My cats and dogs love her and we do, too. Services are reasonably priced and the office is clean and cute. I highly recommend them.

I have been bringing my pups here for going on three years now and I've never had a bad experience! The staff is always open, friendly, and very communicative. Recently my eldest dog passed away and the staff was so supportive, patient, and caring throughout the entire process. I have yet to experience a clinic as well rounded as this one.

I absolutely love this office. It was our first visit and we felt very welcomed. They took very good care of my furbaby and she was very calm with them. She usually shows signs of anxiety when we visit the vet but she was very calm with the staff and the Doctor. Dr. Randall is amazing and so sweet! I will not take my baby anywhere else.

We have a sweet German Rottweiler. The team here took time to get to know Reese and welcomed her with open arms. So many ppl are instantly scared of her, but not here. We started sending our girl in twice a week for day boarding before our big trip. They had patience and really went above and beyond. We’ve found our forever Vet home.

Dr. Randall and her staff were phenomenal! They were patient with us and knew EXACTLY how to manage my male cat who normally is a monster when we take him to the vet. They took care of his broken claw and their pricing was reasonable (especially compared to Cat Care of Vinings). So glad we have this amazing neighborhood veterinarian!

There’s good energy in this place. Everyone is friendly and smiling every time I visit (twice now). The Doctor is a natural and is like a ninja when it comes to handling vaccinations. Only waited a short time to see vet doctor after talking with assistant. Also, has online portal to get flea/tick meds. Went to a vet in Cobb county before, glad I made the change.

Absolutely love West End Animal Wellness. They are conveniently located near the beltline and close to my home. The staff is extremely friendly, well-trained, and caring. Dr. Randall is someone I really trust my dog with and I appreciate the quick advice she gives to her patients that may not need a full exam and appointment.

Dr. Ashley and her team are THE BEST! I’ve been going to them for years and my Yorkie is in love with them. I had a recent emergency that freaked me out and they were able to squeeze me in without any issues and now my baby is home, in the bed, and comfortable. I have been going to the West End Wellness Center for years and have never had a bad experience or service. They have been taking care of my 75 lbs dog since I brought him home and I trust them to take great care. I have been taking my cats here for a couple years now. The best experience I've had. My poor baby needed to have some teeth removed, but Dr. Randall was transparent and said only one tooth needed to be pulled. They gave me a refund for the teeth that did not need to be pulled. I love this place! De. Randall is very knowledgeable and very personable. She doesn’t just draw up an expensive bill. She explains EVERYTHING and if there is an alternate, less expensive method she and her team ensures you know. My dog can be a handful but her team does great with him.

I had my first visit at West End Animal Wellness Center last week and was pleased with the service that my dog and I received. The vet/vet tech was patient with my puppy who is just learning how to behave on a leash, was fairly efficient, and gave good advice regarding next steps.
