I have so many good things to say about this clinic! The staff are so welcoming and patient. They go above and beyond to help their clients as was the case today - to save me another trip to the clinic they’ve sent someone to the local pharmacy to get a med for my dog that they didn’t have in stock. Talk about excellent service! Dr Cameron is so knowledgeable and personable. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers them in all. M He explains things well and is direct about costs of procedures or meds and always advises you of the most cost effective way of getting the health care and medications that your pet needs. I like that he lays out a plan of action before the end of the visit and you know where you stand for next steps of treatment. Todays experience was no different. After discussing the issues and taking Molly’s vitals he picked up on something that I had asked my previous vet about (and was dismissed). She will soon start a medication to hopefully help slow the progression of the issue. I’m confident that we’re doing what’s best for my dog. We’ve done the diagnostics needed and are waiting for the results to move forward. Thank you Dr Cameron for truly caring about our pets and the people who own them.

They were so incredibly helpful with my little Razzberry. My friend recommend them and with all the lock down stuff I felt I could trust them with my dog. She is the world to me and it was very hard (as she is a senior dog) to send her into a surgery. They did an amazing job and good the upmost care in keeping her comfortable and easing my fears. I already have another appointment made for my new job to go In and see them. Taking a star away. Unfortunately due to recent visit. Deep miscommunication and delay is quotes given resulted is money and time wasted on my end. Super disappointed. Dr. C is an extremely lovely person but the vet WAY overcharges for dental cleaning. Im talking like thousands over what other vets will charge. It makes no sense. Also they got rid of the waiting room to fill up with more staff booking tables. Soo it just feels like gross amounts of profit due to overflowing market it the main goal. Guess you cant fault for this but its sad to see. If you can afford to overpay then go for it.

I’ve been bringing my fur babies to Westboro Animal Hospital for over 20 years. All of the vets, vet techs and front desk staff I’ve met over the years have been very friendly, considerate and helpful. Dr. Cameron has been our primary vet at WAH since 2002. I recently brought my senior kitty Ferah there for an ultrasound as she was losing weight and not eating. Dr. Cameron was incredibly caring, professional, and honest with me. It was determined that the lump was lymphoma and should come out. I was very anxious a couple days before surgery, and he spent a lot of time on the phone with me going through my concerns, and explaining all the details of what to expect. He always goes the extra mile to make sure both the client and pet receive the utmost care. He even followed up with me post surgery on his vacation, to see how Ferah was doing. Ferah was in the best hands possible with Dr. Cameron and his staff at Westboro. Thanks to them I have more time with my little girl.

I have been going to this clinic for over 5 years now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff. We are always in good hands. Dr.Ian Cameron goes above and beyond for the animals in his care. When I first moved to Ottawa I had yet to find a vet and my poor little guy needed immediate surgery after hours I went to another clinic in town and they quoted me over 6k for this. I was a student at the time there was no way I could afford this. I was beside myself. So I reached out through my social media and someone recommended Westboro Animal Hospital. They knew Dr.Cameron so they sent him a msg and give him my number. He called me immediately and told me not too worry and to meet him at his clinic. He took such good care of my dog and saved his life. I am forever greatful to him and his team. If you are looking for honest, trustworthy, and a professional clinic that are their for the animals and not for the money look no further. They have you covered!

Dr Cameron and the team are the best! They always provide exceptional care. Even though we have moved out of Ottawa, Dr Cameron still takes care of my animals. To give the latest example, my dog had an abscess and had surgery last week. We used the local vet for this service. However, when the bacterial culture came back, it turns out it was resistant one which needed a special antibiotic. There was none available in the Aylmer area and the vet said we should try Ottawa. I asked her to try calling Westboro Animal hospital, and sure enough they had the meds. DrCameron worked on the prescription and had it ready in hours. Rest assured, your animal will always be looked after - for life! Thanks Westboro Animal hospital!

Not a great experience. We had been using this vet for about 20 years when my husband had a dispute with his office staff. Dr Cameron dumped our dog and cats as patients. I had been taking the animals to their appointments and paying the vet, too, and I had never had a dispute with his office, and could have continued to do so if Dr Cameron didn’t want to see my husband. I should have guessed that women with male partners don’t count / don’t exist when the office assigned only my husband’s last name to our animals ( though at the time, I thought it was cute).

If anyone needs a vet - I gotta say - you can’t do better than the Westboro Animal Hospital!! I have been with them forever (my family dogs growing up we’re all cared for there as well). Brewtus has needed ongoing meds since his surgery in November and they never even charge me for phone calls and emails to keep Brew feeling good. They don’t insist on seeing him because they know he’s old and it’s stressful. Dr Cameron patiently takes my calls all the time and cares so much about my little best friend. ❤️

So far so good with these vets. We brought our cat in for blood tests and were super impressed with the vet tech's handling of our elderly, scared kitty. The way she held him, you could really tell she loves animals, and he calmed down for her immediately. Their pricing is similar to others in the area, so pricey, but what are you going to do? So far, we're very satisfied with the level of care and communication between ourselves and the office.

I cannot say enough great things about the staff here. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Dr. Ian Cameron really cares about you and your pets and will take all the time to address your questions and concerns. I have also seen Dr. Karen SIme and she is amazing as well. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place that actually cares about the animals they see everyday.

Sybil (my Siamese) and I must give praise to the wonderful staff at Westboro Animal Hospital. Dr. Sime in particular is the best vet I have ever encountered in all my years having four legged friends. She was able to solve the many mysteries of Sybil with more attention and care than I have ever seen. All of the friendly faces who help the practice run smoothly are just great as well. Everyone is so friendly on this team. We always receive excellent care for our dog and excellent response time for our questions. Recently our dog got sick and I called a couple of time for medication dosing schedule questions, I received a response within a couple of hours of asking my question to the vet assistant/tech. The only veterinary clinic we've been to in Ottawa, despite moving out of the neighborhood!

Dr. Ian Cameron is an amazing doctor, loving towards animals and sympathetic towards owners in need. Our poor dog had very bad hip dysplasia and Dr. Cameron helped us through the surgeries and took a personal interest in both our dog and us. I would recommend this clinic to all pet owners in Ottawa. They have several great doctors whom I've all met during various check-ups and visits. You're in good hands here.

My sister, a single mother who just moved to a new city woke up to a very sick dog today. This office clearly cares more about the animals than their bottom line and went above and beyond to help my sister get the care her puppy needed even tho is was well over what she could afford. I’m so grateful for them for making her impossible week a little bit easier by being so generous and kind and caring. Amazing.

Offer a great service especially during covid they follow community guidelines, and offer a great service despite restrictions. They are very clear about what services they are offering, they do not push anything, and communicate any issues clearly, and give clear solutions and steps. I would trust no one more with my cat, who is not even scared of going to visit them, because they have been so good to him.

I absolutely love Westboro Animal Hospital. I can say that the above and beyond treatment that they have shown me has literally saved my 2 dogs. They ( all the staff and Dr. that have seen my dogs) are always able to discuss all concerns and treatment options so that I fully understand. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone who has a pet and wants exceptional treatment.

All the vets here are wonderful, but our favourite is Dr. Sime - she is the kindest and most compassionate vet. When our cat was at home in comfort care, she consistently checked in with us and was endlessly patient with all of our questions. She really cares about her patients and helped us feel comfortable with tough decisions near the end. We are forever grateful <3

My family and I have been taking our pets here for years. The team there is always so kind, professional, and provide exceptional care for your pets. Dr.Ian Cameron worked a miracle for my family. He genuinely cares about his clients and puts care into his work. He took the time to explain the surgery process to make sure we felt comfortable. He His staff was very compassionate, friendly and accomodating. They took superb care of my fur baby and I would highly recommend Dr.Cameron to pet owners.

My little chihuahua Mr. Buzz had dental work done in April 2020 and though I couldn’t be there with him, Dr. Sime and her team kept me informed throughout the procedure. Any concerns I had afterwards, they were quick to my/his aid. Dr. Sime even helped me find a softer food that Buzz will actually eat. Super helpful and caring team over there!

They managed to squeeze us in on a busy day, for which we were Super grateful! We live close to it and don't have a car so going elsewhere would have been very difficult. Considering they aren't our usual vet, they were still extremely friendly and took excellent care of our little guy. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I had my first visit at this clinic today and had a great experience. Dr. Wong was awesome! She really took her time during the appointment and answered all of my questions. You can tell she enjoys what she does. The staff at the front were super friendly and accommodating. I’m glad I found this clinic.

I called Westboro animal hospital in a panic when I found a tick on my dog. They were very helpful and talked me out of a serious panic, providing lots of advice and details about medications. If I lived in the city, I would definitely take my dog to them. Highly recommend!

Ian and his team are incredible, to say the least. The love and care that they show and provide to each animal is truly touching. They have consistently gone above and beyond for our Pug, and we couldn't thank them enough for that. Take your pets here, you won't regret it!

I got a puppy two months ago, and I've been taking her to Westboro Animal Hospita. I have nothing else to say other than how amazing everyone is! The staff is really friendly, and the vets are great and knowledgeable. Penny loves going there! 6/5 if I could.

Dr. Sime and the staff of Westboro Animal Hospital were wonderful to us on the worse day possible. We had to have our sweet boy Elroy put to sleep and the caring, empathy and compassion shown was beyond measure. Dr. Sime made a horrible day slightly less so.

Ridiculously overpriced. Went in for annual vaccines for my small dog and it cost me $700... not very happy at all. Will be going elsewhere next year for sure. It only cost me $300 for the damn dog itself!

Though in theory it would be a difficult place to het to and find parking, it is far from that. Great location with designated parking for the clinic. Awesome friendly staff and very knowledgeable.
