I will preface this with I really want to like this store, I really do. That said, this is 2023 and if your website and store can’t agree on product that’s a huge problem. I needed some pool supplies and came across the Ace website that showed the chemical I needed was in stock and priced right at this location. At this point I make the drive and after arriving the pool supply section is void of most product. After spending way too much time to find an associate, they look up the same product from the website that shows in stock and available for pickup as cancelled and not stocked. Fortunately this is not a far drive and there was an alternative available, albeit at 40% higher cost. Lastly, the tap to pay was not working. It’s a nice store with those specialty products you won’t see anywhere else, but don’t trust the website for inventory of products or pricing.

I like shopping at Westlake ACE Hardware because of the wide variety of items they carry that you don't find at other retail hardware stores. It's also a very laid back, clean and friendly shopping enviorment. I really like the pet supply area they have and so do my pups. It's almost like a specialty store in itself. One of the best features that they have is the services they offer. I just recently had some window screens rescreened. It was a quick and easy process. I dropped them off at the service center and picked up when they were done. While I was there, I got an acrylic glass cut to size for a different project. They also cut glass and sharpen mower blades plus more. Those are services not available at other retail stores. Another thing that sets them apart from the norm is that they have caring and friendly Employees who are very helpful.

Talk about old school customer service. I thought I was on another planet. I walked in and a sweet lady who worked there smiled and said. “How may I help you”. I told her what I needed and she told me what isle to go to. As I was approaching the isle Another worker stopped me and asked. How may I help you. Home Depot, Lowes.take notes. Send your team to this store and take notes. . I was in the ace store less than 3 minutes And was greeted and assisted buy two employees Ace Harware. At Basswood. You guys rock. I never do reviews but was so impressed. Even a day later after my experience. At your store I felt compelled to share my experience I will drive buy I think 3 Home Depot’s and 2 Lowes to shop at your store. Thanks so much for the experience. Cheers….

I went to Home Depot and Lowe's for help to loosen a screw from my refrigerator hinge, but they were both unsuccessful. They informed me to order the part from the manufacturer, suggesting it might be defective. However, I decided to visit ACE, and Melvin was more than happy to assist. Not only did he successfully loosen the screw, but he also took the time to educate us on the drill he used and the right socket for future reference. Despite having just served another customer, he immediately attended to us. It was by far the best customer service experience I've had.

Woohoo!! I found smoking wood! And they had plenty to spare. I had been driving around trying to find post oak wood to smoke meats, no one has logs anymore (I found the chunks or pellets). But struck gold after a Google search turned up this location had a few bundle in stock. The bag has a good amount of thick logs, we had to chop them down a bit though. Not a problem at all. The logs had been kiln dried which was perfect! The employees were all helpful and friendly, even asking to assist me on loading up my bags.

Just had a great experience provided by Melvin, the sales associate here at this location. I was looking for screws that would fit into my newly acquired Texas license plates. Melvin took the initiative to get a comparison outside at my vehicle, which had screws already in one license plate and, through the process of elimination, was able to make things work for the second license plate. He provided me with excellent service and a wealth of knowledge. I absolutely appreciate VIP customer service. A job well done!

Ace never lets me down! I am a plant lover, and I've gone here several times looking for plants I couldn't find at Home Depot or my local Wal-Mart. Their standard prices are a bit higher than I like to pay, but the deep clearance at the end of the season more than makes up for it. They have a good selection of well-maintained plants that will add beauty and variety to your garden, but not many trees. Inside, the store is efficient. It's like Aldi vs. Kroger. Hope this helps!

Went into Ace to purchase an electrical chord link, the associates were very helpful and well organized. Unfortunately they sold out of the part I was looking for. They tried to find an alternative but didn't have one. They were not sure if the part would be in next shipment, they referred me to home depot. I was so great full, my dryer was in pieces and needed that piece to be functional again. I loved the calendar with monthly coupons on it.

Big ACE Hardware store nice store. But I couldn't find a matching key for a standard house QuickSet key! It couldn't be found in this fancy, nice, well stocked, stuff everywhere, hardware store. Unreal. Went down road to Home Depot & used a New self-serve key making machine. , never seen before at home depot. No problem! Had 2 keys made in a few minutes. I had a similar experience with a fancy True Hardware store in the past.

Again, I go into Westlake Ace Hardware and again it happens. What always happens. Every time I go into this store, I am greeted by someone who asks if they can help me. And, again, they walk with me and help me find exactly what fits. If you spend any time in a big box store, walking around looking for an employee, then I know you would appreciate the personal service found here. Good job Ace Hardware!

Store must be in transition remodeling. Prices are higher than anticipated. No one greeted us or asked if we needed any help. Left without a purchase. May be because of remodel but dont know. I loved my hometown Ace . kind of disappointed with this one however to be fair l will go back in a couple of weeks.

This location for Ace hardware in the area is probably my favorite. They seem to have more of the specialty fasteners that I need when I am looking for solutions for my motorcycle shop. We do a lot of custom work and sometimes have to build on the fly... This Ace hardware is our go-to location

Even though they are 10 dollars to 5 dollars higher on more items than say Home Depot, Lowes and Walmart the difference is worth it as you can actually get help if you need it. The other places finding a knowledgeable person is very difficult and ACE has real people at the Check out counters.

Well stocked store. I bought paint and the man who mixed it for me was very helpful. I especially liked that they give you a paper with all of the supplies you would need to complete your painting project. Without that sheet, I would have forgotten a couple of items I needed.

Always great to shop at a store where staff really cares about their customers! They don't put down the competition and focus on the value they bring to the shopping experience. I'm glad they continue to stay in business. If you haven't been there yet, it's worth the trip!

Everytime I go here for one thing, I see a hundred of things I want. They are nice and friendly, and knowledgeable of everything they have. Great staff and make you feel like family and not just a customer. I recommend this place a 100 out of a 100 times for great service.

Went on for a specific bird seed. Had not been able to find it at 2 other places. This ACE didn't have it either. There is a problem with manufacturing or warehouse distribution so not their fault. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Store is well laid out. Would recommend.

Wanted a copy of my drivers licenses to do a return/exchange WITH a receipt from another ace location that that I bought 2 hours ago. You do not, under any circumstance, need my drivers licenses information to do a $5 exchange for the correct item. Horrible business.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They have people at the front to help direct you to the right part of the store. They also had people around the store as well to help find things. The store also had a nice open feel and was clean and well organized

Whomever does the purchasing here is amazing. The specialty items are always useful and I end up buying more than I wanted. Always happy with my purchases I get excited to take them home and use them. The customer service is pretty good.

I love this store. I have always been helped in a kind, friendly way. But today was absolutely phenomenal. Terry helped me with several things that I needed. She went way above and beyond to make sure that I got what I wanted and needed.

Great selection of grilling items, items that were sold out at Home Depot were readily available and easy to find. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable I will be stopping here before Home Depot for everything that I can.

Westlake is MY neighborhood hardware store since 2007. The customer service is great! So much so we are like family. Today, we had an awesome experience with a patio furniture purchase. I love the team, I love the store!

I have to hand it to these people. They are better stocked, better staffed and WAY more knowledgeable then Home Depot. Prices are pretty fair (actually less on the one hard to find fitting I needed).

I love this place. If I have questions, they get answers. I went in looking for paraffin wax and before I got ten feet from the door an associate could tell me what aisle to go to. It was great.

Workers are pretty helpful. We showed up right before closing because we thought they closed an hour later but they were still pretty understanding.
