I am positing this in hopes this place betters their service or maybe shares my experience for others to have an understanding of how my experience went with this Vet Clinic and maybe what to expect from it. I went in because my dog was experiencing pain in the stomach, he didn’t want to stretch his hind legs and cried when getting up to walk. In the morning I walked him before going to work and he was hyper, running, doing the Husky (“Can’t catch me thing” - Yesterday), and when I got back from work he was crying in pain to get up to walk iver and say hi when I got home. He was clearly in pain in the rear legs and stomach area, the door to the balcony was open and it was extremely windy which may have caused an injury when he went in or out is what I suspected (Not 100% sure its what caused his pain) I went to this clinic since I been recommended by a dog walker, and during the diagnosis I was asked briefly about diet, exercises, and behaviour. I was as detailed as posible to give the highest chance of a correct diagnosis. He then just felt the stomach area and legs and then proceeded to say he wasn’t sure where the pain was from but suspected its an ingury agrivating his possible arthritis (Which he didn’t ask if he has been showing signs of symptoms which usually show up with arthritis) (Remember he went from running and hyper to pain and crying in a matter of 8 hrs. Other than that there were no xrays, temperature checks, and no concrete diagnosis on where or why this extensive pain can be, other than a what came out as an arrogant and what seemed as an uniformed lasy opinion to say it was arthritis, given the history of my dog. To add to this when diagnosing I wasn’t told of his plan to give pain medication, he just mentioned that it could help treat the symptoms, and then started filling a bottle handing it over without asking of my opinion. Only to get frustrated when I said I don’t want to pay for something that will just treat symptom, rather than help my doggo with his pain. When this happened even though he explained the pills the first time I asked about themagain, but not because I was uniformed of their effect but because of the decision process behind; Why give him pain killers if you’re not sure why he has a lot of pain (He is a tough dog but when his rear legs shake in pain and his breathing is shallow as to indicate pain breathing why go straight for pain meds??? I started to ask but he responded swiftly in a loud and condescending short voice, saying I haven’t been listening to anything without letting me finish my question, to then go on in a loud voice and start over explaining not just the pills but everything. I was so shocked I didn’t even respond, I just wanted to get help for my pet, and not be treated so poorly .I inquired that second time, before being interrupted so abruptly, if the pain meds he was prescribing was necessary, considering he doesn’t even know what the pain is caused by? He again said its his age and arthritis actig up because of the incident. But pardon me if I think a dog doesn’t go from chasing me on my mountain bike at full speed to eight hours later crying and not wanting to walk, I’m not vet or doctor but I think the opinion given to me was poor at best and I hope this helps better this clinics sevice or inform people on what they may expect.

WARNING! DO NOT bring your pet here! The vet here misdiagnosed my dog. If i did not take my pet to the emergency pet hospital the next day, my dog could have been paralyzed from her lower half of her body for the rest of her life!!! My dog had an injury and could not walk properly on her hind legs. She was also arching her back alot. The vet at Weston Veternary Clinic examined it and said her legs were fine and that she probably pulled a muscle. He gave my dog pain killers to numb the pain. The next day, my dog got worse and absolutely had no movement in her hind legs, she was pulling herself across the floor. She had no control over her bladder and bowel movements, drunken motor control, spasms in her sleep, and had no appetite. I called the Weston Vet Clinic and described my dog's symptoms. They said my dog is having nightmares from the pain that's why she has spasms and they said she is just healing and in pain and will get better In a few weeks That's why she can't walk. They told me to give her the pain killers over the next few weeks. My poor dog was in so much pain! I could not bare to see her drag her body across the floor anymore! I suspected it was something worse so I needed to get a second vet opinion and brought her to the Toronto Veternary Emergency Hospital. Right away, the vet there suspected she had a serious spinal injury. They did an MRI and found that she had a bulging disk in her spinal cord compressing 80% of her nerves. The neurologist had to do an emergency surgery the next day. My pet could have been permanently damaged/paralyzed for the rest of her life because of the lack of knowledge from the vet at the Weston Vet Clinic!!! If I never brought her to emergency and never got the second opinion of another vet my dog could have been damaged for life! DO NOT bring your pet here if you truly love and care about your pet. It may be cheaper here than most vets, but i'm warning you that you will absolutely get what you pay for! It's worth it to spend that extra money to get a trained and professional vet elsewhere becayse your pet's life is more valuable and irreplaceable! The vet and the vet assistant lacks considerable professional knowledge!!!

I am posting the review below on behalf of my 91 year old grandmother who has had a fantastic experience with Dr. Stan. ---- (Translated from Russian) I would like to thank Stanislaw Naruszewicz and his assistant Izabella. I want to emphasize that Dr. Naruszewicz and his assistant are doctors who perform their job with the utmost professionalism, and always keep up to date with the latest in veterinary science. Their timely and accurate diagnoses have helped my cat on more than one occasion, and they are always ready and willing to provide advice when a problem arises. They have been especially helpful in recommending and procuring special food for my cat. Moreover, meeting with them is always a pleasure because they are intelligent and well-rounded people with an appreciation for culture and art (e.g., they sing wonderfully and appreciate poetry). In my view, this broad cultural background helps them maintain a welcoming and attentive attitude to clients - not only to the pets but also to their owners. Took my cat here to get neutered and he came back petrified of people. Since then, I got a phone call a few months ago reminding me that he was due for his vaccinations. I declined politely and said I was going to another vet. Just a few minutes ago I got a call from the receptionist saying I missed an appointment on July 7th for my cats vaccination. I was trying to explain that I never made an appointment and that I was going to another vet. She started to argue with me when a man grabbed the phone and started saying it was a reminder. I then explained the information was misleading and to not tell me I missed an appointment when I didn't make one in the first place. He then got very irate with me and accused me of getting angry with him for no reason. I politely asked them to take my phone number out of the system and to not call me again. Based on how my cat reacted after his appointment, and the rude service I've gotten from this clinic I'd highly recommend you don't take your animals here. If they can be so rude over the phone I can only imagine how they treat the animals when you're not there. Thanks!

One of my neighbours had mentioned Weston vet clinic… days later I realized my little fur baby wasn’t acting herself (wouldn’t eat) we noticed she had a rotten/infected tooth. We were able to get an appointment with her usual vet to have her examined they also did blood work and sent us home with antibiotics totalling $500… however they couldn’t do the surgery for 3 weeks after and I wasn’t willing to let my baby suffer so I started calling around in hopes that I could find her a sooner appointment. I had recalled my neighbour mentioning Weston veterinary clinic called them and they were able to schedule Bella in just a few days later. I walked in the clinic and you can just feel their love for animals… didn’t feel like we were just a number like at most clinics I’ve been to. I didn’t ask the price before hand because it didn’t matter we had to have it done so when I got my bill for $600 plus tax I was shocked how great their prices are. I had dental surgery on my other yorkie last year which costed $1500… i won’t bring my dogs anywhere else anymore.

If you are looking for THE MOST AMAZING VETERINARY CLINIC.... STOP!!!! You've just found it!!! Where do I begin? ... The expertise of the staff is at its highest level, the clinic is extremely well maintained and sterile, these people not only treat your pet, they will LOVE your pet thus you can expect them to provide the best treatment! Their prices are UNBEATABLE, and the love and care they provide will pleasantly astound you. I have gone through vet to vet before I stumbled upon this clinic and I cannot imagine myself ever going elsewhere !!! I carry a stack of their business cards in my wallet to give out to people who need a vet. Despite the long commute from my home to the clinic, I'd never consider changing vets. These people have the passion and drive, they don't only work with animals they LOVE them! If you love your pet and you're looking for a genuinely great vet, then make yourself an appointment, you will not be disappointed!!!

I got hired to take a cat here. While the receptionist was polite, I had a hard time understanding what she wanted from me. They didn't like that I was not the owner but when I asked what I could do to prove the owners consent, the conversation became very circular and unhelpful. After waiting a little while longer I was informed the cat I brought (who was in an emergency situation) would not be accepted here. They do not accept insurance and when I asked about it, I was told "it's not my job to fill out your insurance forms" which didn't answer my questions and was a bit rude. There is very little parking and the place is not wheelchair accessible whatsoever. Covid safety protocols seemed lax since the receptionist was wearing her visor in the up position. They do offer over the phone credit card billing, so that's a plus.

This is a very experienced vet. Really knows his stuff. He does not overprescribe, does not overdo with tests and gives very sound advice how to help my pets with temporary problems. For a young and healthy dog he did not request all batteries of test befor surgery as other places do. For my older dogs he is looking at every angle to advise how best to help them without going bancrupt. His prices are very reasonable. If I shop around for more extensive procedures, his prices are unbeatable. Both him and his wife care about animals. Isabella once spent 45 minutes reanimating two puppies. It worked. One of the puppies is a mother herself now. They never refused seeing a pet in distress if they were opened or even after hours if they knew we are on the way. I only wish he was somewhere closer to us.

They truly care about your pet and focus on getting things done efficiently and effectively. They don't try to upsell you on tests, vaccines, or medication that you don't need, which I appreciate. I've had previous experience with another local vet where my partner and I spent over $1000 on tests, blood work, and prescription food when our cat was having diarrhea for over a week. When we decided to get a second opinion, we gave Weston Veterinary Clinic a call to book an appointment. To our surprise, they advised us to feed our cat 100% dry food, and the diarrhea went away on its own - they fixed the problem without us having to spend another dime. I highly recommend Weston Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for a vet that genuinely cares about your pet's well-being without breaking the bank.

I've been to a lot of different vets with a lot of different pets, but this guy is the best I've ever been to. You can take your pets to some fancy animal hospital where the vet is 29yo and will charge you 3x as much for a random guess, or you can take them to see this old guy who has done nothing but fix pets his whole life. He doesn't try to upsell you - if you're the kind of person that can't afford expensive tests or x-rays, he'll give you a "it's probably this, but it could be this, keep an eye on this and watch out for this". He's saved my cats so many times, from internal abscesses to eye infections to just being able to tell a cat is constipated by feeling him. Every time it's been maximum life saving for minimum cost. I don't think I'll ever find a vet as good as this one in my life.

I was so happy to be referred to Weston. As a pet owner i felt terrible for the state of my senior dog's teeth but my vet had quoted me over $1000 for dental cleaning (more if extractions were needed). Weston has a full dental package the includes cleaning, reasonable extractions, pain meds and antibiotics for $600 + tax. I drove from out of town to give them my business. If more vet offices provided affordable packages for things like dental care, i feel like more owners would be able to justify the expense ane prioritize things that may be viewed as non-vital but can increase a pets quality of life in a major way! As a dog groomer i see dogs with rotting teeth daily. So happy to have found Weston and to be able to tolerate doggy smooches again without holding my breath

Recently Weston animal clinic was sold and under new management. The previous vet unfortunately retired and moved back to Poland . He and his wife were fantastic. I went Thursday October 26,2023 to have my dog Milo have his anal glands checked and meet the new vet.my experience was horrific. My dog cried in pain something he had never done before. The vet spent his time trying to sell me medication to supposedly help with anal glands. After he wanted to give me anti-inflammatory Medication and pain killers. Absolutely none of these medicines were indicated or needed it was an unbelievable upselling job I ever experienced. I will never ever go back there again. He struck me as a vet who has no love of animals. The one star was for the receptionist she was very nice.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The hours are not the greatest, the bed side manners are fantastic but the actual service is poor, at best. I spent a lot of money treating my cat for a "cold and anxiety" which wouldn't go away. When I took her elsewhere, she was diagnosed with cancer and a lump in her abdomen on the spot. I had to put her down. I wouldn't recommend taking your animals here. The question always lingers, if she would have survived had I taken her to another hospital months and months before. Very heartbreaking, but the sadder part is that after doing research on this place, I found a lot of other pet owners who are complaining of the same.

Vert lovely vet! The receptionist is very sweet every time we go in and the vet is very knowledgable. They have always taken us in last minute when we it was ab emergency and even stayed past closing for us because I was in labour and needed to bring my poor doggy in for pain medication before we went to the hospital. The best thing about this vet is they are not out to get you for your money! They are very transparent in what theyll charge you they are fair prices! With other vets, I was always spending $400 + dollars every time I went and my dog never got any better. This vet is great

Words cannot explain how lucky I was to bring my very ill cat (Michi) to this vet. Dr. Stan, you saved my cats life when West Toronto Hospital wanted to euthanize him. The vet administered the right treatment and he is doing significantly better. My buddy is now walking around, drinking and eating on his own and today he began grooming himself. From the bottom of my heart, my family thank you and your wife for being amazing humans and giving my cat a fighting chance. 5 well deserved stars. P.S. The cost is very reasonable for those who are tight on money during these trying times.

I been calling them for the last 2 days, no one picks up their phones. I leave a voice message for them to get back to me, never hear back. Very poor communication. (previously 1 STAR) *UPDATE* This is my updated review. The original owner was doing everything & never picked up calls. She has now retired. New receptionist and Vets work here now and they have been extremely professional and wonderful! I took my dog here for dental disease and they took extreme care for my dog. A place where I originally gave 1 star is now 5 stars. I'm glad this place turned out for the better!

Dr. Stan needs to retire. He failed to advise me that my cat's medication could be administered via a cream rubbed into his ear. Instead he proposed giving my cat a pill morning and night despite my comment that trying to medicate my cat with pills consistently resulted in a stressed cat and me bleeding. Dr Stan also didnt advise me of the terminal nature of my dog's heart condition and I found answers after searching for the name of the condition on google. Dr. Stan is a very nice man and the prices are very reasonable but the gaps above are a dealbreaker for me.

Used bring my pets to the previous Vet. He was awesome. The new clinic is disorganized. Chaos. Waited so long for my scheduled apt. Someone came with the pet and was seen shortly and, I was left behind. Vet came to see me when was told that I came first long time ago for my scheduled apt. As waiting for Vet, I was told, “woman made apt for 1 dog, but brought 3 dogs”. Stories. They did not know what they were doing. Came for specific exam, but different thing was done and issue was not addressed. Left in the waiting room again. Will never go there again.

I take Missy (my American Eskimo) to this vet and have always had a pleasant experience. The staff sends out friendly reminders as to when her shots are due every year with no problems. I love how attentive the staff is and ensuring my dog is taken care of. I also value the advice my vet provides with respect to what types of food I should be feeding her and the types of preventative measures that should be taken to ensure she is healthy. As a first time dog owner, I found the advice invaluable. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family!

I took my golden retriever with a swollen ear filled with fluid there. The vet cleaned his ears out and told me the vein burst because he shakes his ears too much. If he drains the pus it will fill up again. Just wait and it will go away. It did. I saved hundreds on surgery. I took my dog back another time for surgery to remove a lump and get it tested for cancer. Total fee was $300 plus lab fee. It is amazing how reasonable this vet price is. He’s caring and taken care of my baby well. We take all of our paws to him now.

It's nice to see a vet office that is genuinely concerned about the wellness of your pet / family . A great place for cats !! Our cat is currently being treated for and I'm so glad I was referred to come in to get her for treatment . The clinic is affordable , professional and compassionate . It's also important to note that it is not one of those super busy vet offices with a half dozen or or so barking dogs running around , but when there are dogs there they always seem to be happy and content .

My dog had an ear infection that needed to be treated as soon as possible and they were able to accommodate me the same day when not even his usual vet had an appointment for us! Very friendly and knowledgable doctor. He explained everything very well and was very accommodating. I’m glad to have found a reasonably priced vet but that is not after the money but genuinely cares to help animals. Thank you, Dr.! I will be switching there permanently.

Dr. Stan and his staff are the best! We have been going to this clinic for many years..about 20 years..and he is by far the kindest, most compassionate and reasonably priced vet we have ever met. We have sent many of our friends there who don't live in the area but don't mind travelling to his office, because they know they get the best care. This is not a Dr. who is out to make money like so many other vets I've met. We won't go anywhere else!

For 3 years i visited this doctor very often with my dog but lately in past 2 months at least 5 times because of vomiting .he give him some stupid medication but never helped and not once he took a blood or stool test in 3 years not once , my 4 years old dog died at the emergency hospital they took blood test right away they said extremly low protein level and white blood cells. I can say his not professional at all not recommended to anyone .

I’ve been looking for an honest vet to take my dog to and this clinic goes beyond and above for our pets! They recommend home remedies so we don’t have to spend money on unnecessary medicine. Weston Veterinary Clinic is a lovely little clinic. They definitely get things done. Both Dr. Stan and his wife (the lady at the front) are quite knowledgeable. We go to them for all our dog's needs. While they almost always are in a hurry, and don't always answer the phone in a timely manner, it's understandable as it's only the 2 of them running the entire clinic. No complaints here, we are satisfied with their services.

I called the vet clinic today when I came home to my cat and his very swollen face. Immediately I was given an educated response to his issue & felt very comfortable with my beginning experience with Weston Vet! The staff here definitely love animals & the work they do. I have been with Dr. Stan for several years .He and his assistent Isabella is very knowledgeble, skilled pleasant and totally dedicated to pets !!! Best vet in the world Looked after my furbaby until he passed 3 years ago. He was put to sleep by Dr Stan who let my son and I hold him and stay with him after he passed , Very understanding We have a new cat now and he only goes to this vet Great compassionate people Fair price and they truly care about the animals

Our first time to this clinic, and a convenient location for us. We appreciated that appointments are on time (we didn't have to wait), moreover the gentleness with which they treated our fur babies. Please note that there is no dedicated parking, and very limited metered street parking.

They assets my dog and were determined and confident that surgery would save the life of my 14 year old pitbull but that wasn’t the case. They did the surgery and three days later my dog passed away. I would have felt better if they were honest and realistic from the beginning

Took our cockapoo here because he had an ear infection. Place is very small but cozy. Just a receptionist and one vet working, so mom and pop shop to the max. Prices were affordable and treatment worked. My dog's ear is better! Would recommend this place easy.

This place is clearly about the money. They wanted over $500 to spay a cat. Literally found a better vet immediately that did it for under $200. Look at your options before committing to this places prices because there are much better out there.

I'm visiting from Maine and an off leash dog bit my dog. Weston Vet Clinic got us in quickly and provided wonderful, friendly service. 10/10 experience with these lovely folks after an upsetting unexpected situation. Would definitely recommend.

Before my cat died she was a patient here and everyone from the vet and the assistant were fantastic with her. Now I have a dog and he also he also goes here, so far so good. My only issue is I wish the hours were a bit more flexible.

My 3 year old dog, Pepe and I love this veterinary clinic. Dr. Stan and his assistant Isabella are experienced and caring, and you don't have to "mortgage your house" to pay the bill. Recommend this clinic to friends and neighbours.

They are the absolute best! My dog has cancer and I’m trying to find a good way to quickly get back to Toronto from Miami as I would only trust Dr. Stan and his lovely wife with my dogs surgery and treatment. Fingers crossed.

The only I can say is they love all animals, I feel they love whit my cat,my cat he was very sick, but I had a great doctor! I was desperate they just told me, we will take care! They did! My cat is doing well thanks to them

My experience with Dr. Stan and his wife, Isabella is always great. They have my supply of food, syringes and medications always available once a month when I come to pick them up.
