"Loved the loaf of sourdough and their bagels"
"I am so excited that this bakery in my neighborhood"
"Delicious! Often I’m a chewer over taste kinda guy and my god - perfect texture on everything"
"I’ve probably only given a handful of reviews in my life"
"Ordered an almond crossiant and matcha coconut bun"
Loved the loaf of sourdough and their bagels. Being from the East Coast, I had yet to find a bagel out here that compared. Wildwood has not only matched those top notch NY/NJ bagels but may have very well surpassed them. I cannot wait to make this part of my weekend ritual. (The shallot and za’atar cream cheese is 11/10)
I am so excited that this bakery in my neighborhood. I geek out over baking and bread, but have not had the time to do it myself, unfortunately. And now I don’t need to…this place has the best bread and bagels and am so glad to have this community gem. Plan on going every weekend. Bread is love ❤️ More
Delicious! Often I’m a chewer over taste kinda guy and my god - perfect texture on everything. Bought a few pastries and a loaf of sourdough which was still warm enough to steam up the windshield from the dash. And bony very expensive! 4 pastries and 1 fresh loaf for $24. Just so so good all around.
I’ve probably only given a handful of reviews in my life. I live down the street from this bakery and let me tell you… they never miss. I wish they were open more often! Wayfarer doesn’t compete. Technically, they have different in offerings, but I prefer Wildwood any day. Everything is delicious.
Ordered an almond crossiant and matcha coconut bun. Both were great! Crossiant was a nice fluffy, flaky, and crispy consistency with a sweet surprise on the inside that complemented the texture and the bun was a fluffy buttery bun with a crispy matcha exterior. Definitely worth going to early!
If the focus of your hunt is artisan, really honest baked goods, this is the place. Not fancy or slick, and no place to sit, but you're not there for that. A small but outstanding selection of great breads, pastries, and sandwiches. And they carry the SD area's best coffee.
Review from the Soft Opening! The sourdough, bagels, peach pastry, and chocolate concha were delicious. I was so-so on the turnover. But, the bagels are what will bring me back, over, and over, and OVER again. Finally, a solid local bagel spot. THANK YOU WILDWOOD.
There is only street parking. The pizza are okay but a little overpriced at $12. They don't print or show any signs for their pizzas choices. If you get there too late (noon) there is hardly any pastries left. They have a lot of their standard companion bread.
For the past few months I have come here at least once a week, and my only regret is not going more. The best and freshest bakery in San Diego. Their croissants are incredible, their conchas are delicious, and the staff is so wonderful and friendly.
Absurdly tasty croissants and danishes, made there 5 minutes from the oven. And I ate hundreds of them all over Europe. But these are better! It's like croissant meditation . Also their rustic breads are so good. They make sour dough too.
Has a very cool, modern style. Went there for some bagels and was very surprised that they cost $4 for a bagel. I see other reviews raving about the bagels, but I've had a 4-week old frozen and reheated NYC bagel taste 5X better than these.
On our very first visit, they had already run out of breakfast sandwiches, as well as one of their croissant specials that I REALLY wanted to try So we picked up a bunch of items but already made plans to come back the next morning at
We come here almost every weekend so it’s time we finally leave a review! We LOVE these new neighbors of ours. Wildwood is amazing and we are continually impressed with their baked goods. We haven’t tried anything that we didn’t absolutely
In the last week I had 3 different people separately rave about Wildwood so my wife and I went to try it. She went savory and I went sweet. Both were 10/10 as was the loaf of bread we grabbed to go with dinner. Wildwood is my new favorite
Wildwood is an absolute delight! We live nearby and it’s often one of the highlights of our weekend. Everything they make is delicious, and I love the variety and new spins each week. Their sourdough is absolutely beautiful, and the best
A great little local bakery in PB. They have all the favorites, including conchas that remind me of the visit to Monterrey MX. The only thing they don't have is italian cannolis... which I requested they add to their line of baked goods.
Today was the first time I tried pastries from Wildwood Flour. I'm a savory breakfast type of person and tried their egg, ham & cheese crossoint. I added some chillie flakes to it when I got home and I tell you it was the best I've ever
The smells as you approach this spot are heavenly! Get there early to make sure you can grab a concha. It’s a Mexican style sweet bread- we love the blue corn flavor. I’ve had their bagel, breakfast sandwiches and other baked goods and
I really wanted to love this place. I love sourdough bread and I want to support a new bakery dedicated to sourdough. The bread flavors were pretty bland. We had baguettes, cinnamon rolls, and sourdough boule. The staff were all very
This place is so cute and the food is delicious! We got the bagel dog (spicy!), the heirloom tomato sandwich, an insane cinnamon roll. We also got two concha’s (kettle corn and amaranth) both were soft not overly sweet.
Fabulous in every way. Highly recommend to branch out & try something you normally wouldn’t. They are so creative with their flavor pairings. One of my favorite parts of the weekend is visiting here. Cheers guys!
This might be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! I'll be back to try all the things. If there's one ding I'd say I wish they had some tables to sit at to enjoy the deliciousness.
Very friendly staff serving up great goodies. i had the sesame bagel which was baked to perfection with a nice doughy inside and a perfect crisp on the bottom. 10/10 would recommend
Conchas and pastries are amazing and perfectly baked. The loaves of bread are also delicious. The staff is friendly and the bakery has a random assortment of local handmade items.
Loved the honey sesame concha I just had. Crusted and crumbly from the surface but melts in the mouth with just the perfect amount of sweetness and unfiltered grainy texture.
So happy this place opened in PB. Just had amazing bagels & croissants. The line moves quickly and the team behind the counter are awesome. Can’t wait to come back!!
The best kind of grain, of course, is a course unrefined grain. This is the kind that feels in the mouth like a hard summer rain. Earthy and fulfilling.
Great tasting food! Very fresh but some of the items have cooled off and I would have preferred them to be warmer. But Very fresh and very good still!
Equal competitor with Wayfarer. Incredible breakfast. Adorable atmosphere. Great unique pastries. Just wish they were open more than 2 days a week!!!
This bakery is so wonderful! They consistently have new things in rotation, so It's fun for us to pop in and try a few new flavor combinations. 10⭐
Everything is fantastic! The bagels, conchas, and croissants are all delicious, oh and the icing on their cinnamon rolls is out of this world! More
So much soul… you can taste it. Vanilla concha is insane and the fig herba mate tea slaps hard AF. Will be back to explore the other goods soon
Customer service 5 stars! The absolute best croissant I’ve ever put in my mouth! The ratio of crunch to soft/melt in your mouth is perfection!
Review Title: The Great Bread Heist of Wildwood Flour Bread Bakery! Rating: ★★★★☆ (4 stars, because despite it all, the anticipation has been
best bread and pastries I’ve had in my whole life. Butternut squash danish Classic sourdough Chilly cheese bread …
We got one plain bagel and one everything bagel…I’m blown away. Incredible. It’s about time we have amazing bagels here!! Thanks Wildwood ♥️
The croissants are perfect, the staff is kind, the atmosphere is 10/10, I think this is my favorite bakery ever. Thank you Wildwood Flour!!
Delicious bakery. Great bread as well as baked goods. I would say they're better than Wayfarer (which is also a great bakery). More
Wow! Everything is so fresh and delicious. I love how the bagel has seasoning on both sides!! Thanks for opening in PB!!!!
Had the chocolate croissant around 9:30am...best one I've ever had. Regular croissant also really good, concha was okay.
Closed first two weeks of January. First visit was today and they were busy, but from what we tasted I am not sure
Yummy & cute. No chairs or anything, it’s all to go. Really friendly staff. Thanks!
Food: 5…

Terrific bakery with creative items. I really hope they can extend their schedule in the future!
Delightful local Mexican bakery. Friendly staff, ever changing seasonal menu, and cheap prices!
Great bakery but go early as they run out fast. Opens only Friday through Sunday.
I love this place! The bagels are amazing and you taste how fresh they are.
