Love Williams Square, the Christmas decorations are lovely. Miss the cafe there. It's a square to everything a Streets that lead to other streets with lovely shops of all sorts that caters for every taste, and some really nice cafes like the Bramble apple cafe, highly recommend this cafe, it's off Willams Square side street.

Visited 11 June 2020, when lockdown was still operating. Very very few shops were open and of course the fountain was not working. I bought a take away coffee in Whitechapel and sat down in the square to drink it. The seagulls were present to eat people's takeaway remains. Should be some more shops open next week.

The odeon lux cinema there is unreal! Reclining leather seats and your own drinks and snacks table is just like no other cinema experience. There's also a b&m shop two minutes away to get your super cheap goodies from so you don't have to pay cinema prices. Win win.

Went to Playhouse on Saturday, excellent performance of Christmas Carol, different. Williamson Square buzzing with people, very festive. Christmas tree and decorations amazing. Just a pity the lights can't be there all year, but not the tree

  • Bobby Harrison

Brilliant shopping centre in town got everything you need excellent food court and very clean and must visit the lfc stall on the top floor chance to get ye pic with the prem trophy ( not the real one like)

  • Julie Ohanlon

Cold wet and windy but a lovely surprise turning the corner and seeing the Christmas tree. I was with my 88yr old mum and it was worth it and a pleasure seeing her beautiful face light up

  • Tollets TalesAndTrails

Nice quiet area at most times I passed through In the late evenings. The Playhouse Theater with Radio city Tower in the background and with its foggy surrounds makes it a pretty picture.

  • Heather Jessop

Why is this part if town being allowed to become so run down?. All the focus seems to be on Liverpool One at the cost of Williamson Square, there are some great shops over here.

  • sandra mowat

It was great to be back in Liverpool city centre, wearing face mask as you have to do. Really good walking around going into the shops as Liverpool had been closed for months

  • laurence ashford

Adapt surprisingly far more expensive than usual, would recommend going online for outdoor items and look at other outlets. No excuse for price hike.

  • farooque lisa

This used to be a bigger shopping centre but some shops have closed and it had suffered with the pandemic. There is still a Boots and Costa here.

  • Hollie Wilson

Good variety of shops, I went into Iceland on my visit got everything I needed. Security on that day was polite and welcomed me into the shop.

  • Lynda Collins

Outside seating. Pubs restaurants and cafe's. Plus shops for jewelry cloths etc. In the summer there is the fountain to walk through.
