Always loved the Williamstown line because it's so short and is seldom used. The building is a very nice and old and wooden building which is apparently one of the oldest station buildings in Melbourne that is still used or something along those lines. I like how the station is only one platform as well as the footbridge at the end of the platform too. It really adds to the quite and peaceful aesthetic of the station. Beyond the platform there is also the remains of the section that would have originally gone to Gellibrand pier unfortunately aside from a few overhead stanchion there isn't too much of the original alignment left. I feel as though every time I come here it's like I am suddenly back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Sunsets at this station hit different too. Sorry for the long complicated review which is very rare for me but I am very close to getting a badge for writing 5 reviews with over 200 characters and this was the place I chose to get the fifth and final review of 200 characters. If you are still reading this I am sorry, Here look at my photo taken of a siemens train taken last year with the new PID's before all of the siemens trains had the upgrade and it was only a few of them.
Great central location, for exploring. Ask at the ticket booth for a free walking map. After leaving the station, follow the footpath that starts under the footbridge. This takes you through the Point Gellibrand Coastal Heritage Park, down towards the bay, for great views. Path to the right, takes you past the Fort and Prisoners quarry. Path left takes you to the Timeball Tower, where you may find the Ice Cream van parked for refreshments. If views are not your thing, from the station, simply cross into Ann St, follow it to its end, then turn left into Nelson Place.
A cute little station that gives off a very quaint vibe. It is the end of the Williamstown Line in the inner south west of Melbourne and it has a great community, much less dodgy than some other terminus'. The least used station on the Williamstown Line too. The facilities include toilets, a really nice station building and ticket offices, and also waiting shelters. Just one platform but looks like it used to have two. A footbridge at the end of the line makes for a good place to take a look back on the little station.
LAST STATION ON THE WILLIAMSTOWN LINE Quaint little station that is the last stop on the short Williamstown line from the city. It has toilets. Just the one platform as it is single track at this end of the line. Just a short stroll from the station gets you into the Williamstown village centre where there are lots of cafes and the leafy commonwealth reserve - which on Sundays has a local market. Trains aren't that frequent on this line so check the timetable if you don't want to wait
Disability toilet with liquid soap and warm hand blower also regularly cleaned and usually ample dunny paper so you can feel sparkling and refreshed to go for lovely quite walks around Williamstown And because the train terminates here I strongly suggest say hi to a local and we'll point you in the right direction as we're a friendly mob and we'd like to share some of our secrets that you won't find on any tourists map Enjoy!!!!!
Good station, has toilets, parking and an alcove to sit in. Trains may not come as often here though and it is a bit out of the way from the main shopping district. It is rarely crowded though
The trains here are quite infrequent, with millions of dollars constantly being spent on 'upgrades' you'd at least expect Metro to actually be able to operate a decent service.
Great station has toilets which is good. Also not that Far from the beach which is nice sometimes you can even smell the beach this is part of the cross city group
Station with in walking distance to all Williamstown has to offer such as waterfront, restaurants and shopping precinct.
History Everywhere Very clean TOILETs at Visitors Information Great Restaurants and Cafes very good whole FAMILY DAYS
The station is clean, it might look in the middle of nowhere but there is good things to discover around.
I like this station, provides good access to the nearby parks and the trains are reasonably frequent.
