Person at the till asked to see my id despite me being clearly actually old. I presented my id and also said I'm not okay with this as I'm more than double the legal age. I said this perfectly respectfully and in calm tone without any abusive or offensive language. I even said I know this is their job but I'm not okay with it. This person then refused to sell to me and I asked why. They said because they're not okay with taking abuse. I then asked them to explain to me what I did that was abusive and they refused to explain. We discussed this further, all calmly and respectfully and then they called a supervisor over. They discussed the situation away from the till and then the supervisor came to talk to me. I discussed with the supervisor what I said, that I'm not okay with being checked for id and that nothing I did was abusive. The supervisor also refused to sell to me. I asked the supervisor to explain what I did that was abusive and they refused to explain to me what was abusive. I then told them I would leave and not come back. In no way do I appear to be under 18 years of age. I'm not okay with unreasonable id checking and I'm especially not okay with my concern being labeled as abuse. I didn't refuse to show id at any point, I had simply said I'm not okay with this. I will never shop here again. If not only front line workers but supervisors consider such fair weather statements to be abusive then I have no interest in supporting such an unreasonable establishment. I can spend money elsewhere.

Great big box kind of place with tons of options, some staff are helpful and polite and on the other flip of the coin some staff treat you like your gonna shop lift. Fridge to isle, fridge to isle,fridge to Isle , so i can't recognize anything in the cooler, quick call security!! .... 3 times I've visited this store and 3 times I've had a different experience. All three times were on a Sunday, just a quick pickup for Sunday dinner, great selection and tons of options. Spring/Summer heat white wines should be chilling in the coolers (ok maby some) but at the least the ones on SALE!!! not the first time a sale sign caught my eye on a familiar favorite white or sparkling, but not chilled???, I would have rated it better i guess if one of those 3 attempts i had both good customer service and a chilled "familiar " wine..... Cheers.

I came in here looking for a few wines to do a French wine tasting party with a few friends. For someone not too familiar with wine, it can be overwhelming to know which wines are good to buy. Fortunately, Adam was incredible and gave me the most thorough introduction to the all the different regions in France, including soil types, grape varieties, and flavor profiles! The depth of knowledge and passion he has on wine was amazing, and I would recommend anyone going here to chat with him on wines! He even gave us suggestions on how to serve the wine, and in which order to taste them. We ended up selecting 4 very different and affordable wines that all of us enjoyed very much that night! Give Adam a raise! He deserves it!

This place is epic! I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in here, but they do this experience RIGHT. First off, the selection is INSANE! I don't care what you're looking for, you'll find it here. Second, head to the back of the store and indulge in some tastings of fine whiskeys, scotches, tequilas, and so much more. Last (but certainly not least) the staff are amazing. These folks know their market and their product and always have helpful suggestions. If you want to experience and not just shop, you need to go to Wine and Beyond.

Wine and Beyond has the best selection of Sake and Soju in the city. Their Soju is cheaper compared to other liquor stores and they have some rare to find Asian whiskeys and beer too. I also like that you can try some sample of their expensive scotch and whisky for a very cheap price. It’s nice to have Wine and Beyond near my place in Downtown, so I don’t have to drive to Sage Hill anymore just to get bottles of Soju.

Amazing customer service. Such a great place to go to. There are one or two staff there that I don't usually go to till for but I still will. If you need something or even want recommendations, the team will show you the best and will ask the best price for you and work from there. I'm a faithful customer there and I will never go to any other location besides this one.

Wow wow wow...what a beautiful store....I called for a particular product that they didn't have....last weekend finally attended store (to see to my delight)....my product front and center!! Haha a delightful surprise... somebody did a great job....now I don't have to drive across they city to purchase! Wahooo....happy AF...lol Van Gough caramel vodka...try it!!

As an adult, have you ever cried in a store? I have and it's this place. I love booze and welcome home to Valhalla, my boozie friends. The selection of every booze grouping is just marvelously excessive. Betty Ford would die if she knew about this place (and was not also, already dead). Prices are fair. Sales are better. Craft booze lovers rejoice, you're home.

The customer service at this Wine and Beyond location is impeccable! I had an issue with my bottle, and staff members here went above and beyond my expectations to fix it and get it right. They kept in communication with me and made sure I was in the loop with updates. Needless to say, I am very satisfied and happy with their customer service!

Very big store with a big selection of wines. Looked like they had a lot of hard to find expensive wines to. They also sold different accessories and wine glasses. Beer selection was just okay, it could be better. They had decent selection for korean and Japanese liquor. Prices were a little expensive but they had good sales.

Wine and Beyond is a great Supporter of the Craft Beer industry, which I really appreciate. If you can't find something here that you want or want to try, you don't want to drink. The staff is generally helpful. Some can find the most obscure thing if they have it, others can try and point you in the right direction.

Very helpful staff, and a great atmosphere. We had come in looking for two drinks that are no longer in stock (we learned this while there) but they assisted us in finding out that while one is because its no longer being made, there was still some stock at a few other stores across the city. Great help, great store!

Went in for a case of wine for a gift called ahead, when I asked for help the young guy (I think his name was grant) was full of attitude, in an empty store, he actually said, can't you do it yourself or ask someone else? My response was really? Seriously won't ever go back, wasn't worth the $2 per bottle savings.

Really happy with my first visit here. Clean, spacious and fantastic selection and variety. Staff approached and asked if I needed assistance finding anything. Some standouts are that they have a sampling bar (!!) and also some of the items have pairing and usage recommendations (on signs and on product labels).

Staff need to be trained for customer service! Went in with a broken foot and no one offered to help find, carry nor bag my purchases. First thought they were having bad day however we went back 3 days later same lack of interest in customers nor in providing any service..eye contact...greeting.

Great to find a liquor store that doesn't just sell the same brands as everywhere else. These guys stock Magners cider, Centenario tequila and some great bourbons. Be careful though, first time I visited I went in for a 6-pack and came out with $250 of liquor. Forgot the 6-pack.

Had a great experience shopping at the Deerfoot City store the other evening. Vergel was so helpful and very knowledgeable about all kinds of craft beer and wines. Thank you Vergel for the tour of the store. Keep up the great work! Wine and Beyond are lucky to have you!

Huge selection of wine all sorts of other alcohol, everything from the cheap and expensive beers to thousand dollar bottles of wine and hard liquor gin, vodka everything really. There is so much to choose from you'll end up buying a lot of different stuff to try.

I have never in my life been to a liquor store with such a huge selection. It was just supposed to be a quick run in trip and I ended up spending about 45 minutes looking around. If you are looking for a liquor beverage you will probably find it here.

Great service! Lovely staff who were eager to help, and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Amazing selection! I couldn't believe all of the local brews they had on display. Also will definitely pick up a growler or one of their cute crowlers as well!

Won’t go back. I just needed a few boxes and they said I could have one or two. I was buying a couple of bottles of wine but I won’t be back as a customer. They had at lest 50 boxes so I will not be a customer and I hope you enjoy your boxes!!!!

I like the prices and selection at this store but I mainly come here again and again for the service. Adam in particular is always knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He and the other staff make coming to this store a great experience!

If you're looking for selection options for wine, beer or hard liquor, you won't be disappointed! Prices are a bit higher than other liquor stores but the sale prices are mostly good value. Staff were helpful and courteous, too.

Sandie was exceptional couldn't have asked for better service definitely deserves a raise 10000000/10. Update: the vodka (pinnacle whip cream) was better than I ever could have dreamed differently going to buy again

Loved the variety of Whiskey and Bourbon. If you want to buy good Whiskey, this store will not disappoint. Some of the brands on the shelves are not easy to find elsewhere such as Weller, Jefferson, Glenfarclas and many others.

Beautiful store, tons of selection for everything, and friendly staff. The craft beer selection in particular is amazing, and they highlight award winning breweries and have promos on select brands. Definitely recommend.

Great selection of wines, workers are helpful to find what you need. They have some pop up events on weekend, I have had my own label made for a liquor bottle I purchased. It is always fun to visit!

The large size of the store allows them to have a great variety of wines, beers, spirits, and much more. Had no trouble finding what I wanted, and the staff were very helpful when we had questions.
