Will NEVER go here again! I live a few blocks away from this location. I am a strong supporter of local and community businesses, which is why I have always come here, albeit the higher prices. I get it. Pay for the convenience. The issue comes when I have been wronged. I sent my 14 year old daughter down the road on her scooter to buy cream just a few days ago. She brought home a cream that expired in one day. I accidentally opened it without looking, as I would assume that naturally it would be expired, even in one day. As a consumer, we assume we have at least 5 days minimum, and wouldn’t expect a store to sell this with an expiry date of one day. I took it back saying that I would like to return it, due to the expiry. They said no. I asked to exchange it for another, and they said no. Basically, for the $6.00 purchase, they wouldn’t do anything for me, and didn’t value me in any way, even after I had explained that I live up the road and support their business. He didn’t care. The manager let me walk out the door even after I told him I’m going to tell everybody, I know, all my neighbors, to not support this winks after you don’t support us. Why should we support you? He looked me in the eyes and said no problem. So here I am writing this review. I promise everyone reading this that I will never go back into this store and support them. I’d rather go without, or go out of my way to drive to superstore or Aspen Safeway, where I know I am valued and they appreciate my business.

Stop at this store with my 86 year old mother in urgent need of a bathroom, asked for the bathroom explaining that it was a very urgent need, she could not wait!!! He said NO, I said she is going to go on the floor right now! we need a bathroom, again NO, at that point my mother did soil herself. Thankfully the kind staff next door at the liquor store let us use their bathroom. I cannot believe the uncaring, rude clerk, not only did he show his inhumane nature but he cost the store a sale as I would have made a purchase to clean my mother up. To top it off the man was smiling as we left!!! Never use this store!!!

Since the new owners have taken over I've noticed drastic improvement. The previous owners seemed to use the business model of "We don't care if you return, we're just going to make as much money off you the first time you're here". Now the new owners and staff are all very kind and seem excited to see you in their store. Shelves are almost always fully stocked, prices have become more reasonable, new services such as propane are being sold now, and the general cleanliness of the store is much better. Great work, glad to see you taking pride in your business!

BEWARE of expired snacks! Just bought this snack pack and the flavour seemed odd at first, the chocolate is as hard as rock. Checked the expiry date and it’s been expired for 1 year now, made 2 years ago. Yikes! Their bubble tea cans are sitting on the shelf expired as well, so be careful. ALWAYS check expiry dates at this store as owners prefer to sell their customers food that’s past the expiry date.

Since the new ownership has taken over at this location the pricing has increased drastically. I had been a patron of this location for well over 5 years but will not be returning. From conversatioms with family and friends this price issue is a very well know and spoken about. There will not.be another second of my time spent in this establishment.

Awful customer service. Terrible. If I could give no stars I would. The girl/lady acted like it was an inconvenience that she had to make a transaction and acted like she could not speak. Go somewhere else for your snacks, not worth being treated inferior for the time you are there.

I like winks they have some good slushies one thing that’s kind of off is the cashier near the girl that comes there sometimes she’s never happy and why I asked for a slushy cup large she gave it to me without saying anything I don’t think she really appreciates working

Rude staff. I am consistently given the wrong change and have to ask for the right change back. Staff are never helpful to customers with questions and are always talking on the phone when I'm purchasing my items

So unfriendly everytime!! They make you feel like your bothering them by coming in the store to spend your money there. Also their prices are outrageous, and breads are not fresh. Never going back.

The guy in the counter( asian guy ) rudely told me that there's no washroom in the store when I ask him nicely if I can use it. Very bad customer service.

Prices are way to high and marked lower than they actually are in some places. Very grumpy staff, would not recommend this place.

The snooty old woman behind the counter is super condescending and rude. Not buying a thing here anymore.
