What a great experience here!! I went into the store to use a coupon, but found that they only had one of the item I wanted to purchase in store, and it had some slight damage. I was directed to speak with Gloria, a wonderful employee, who proceeded to go above and beyond to help me get my item and get the discount. She spent time on the phone with customer service on my behalf, figuring out how I could purchase a replacement item through the website while still having my in-store coupon honored and eventually was able to help me got an even better deal than I anticipated. She did all of this on an extremely busy day in the middle of the holiday season, and meanwhile her co-workers around her we're handing out truffles to the people who were waiting in line to check out. This is a great store with great employees and I will definitely be going back!

So grateful for this location! Unfortunately I ordered some chairs online and one of them came damaged so I needed to return it and get a new one. There was some confusion at the register at first but my saving grace Johnny helped us figure it all out. I then had my new chairs shipped to the store where the individual who was helping me (I’m sorry I can’t remember the name!!!!) was so kind and patient with me as I opened the package to make sure it wasn’t damaged. Anyways, long story short the employees are this store are awesome and I hope someone from corporate reads this and give you all a Christmas bonus!!! They always go out of the way to make sure the customer is in good shape before leaving the store.

I bought an embroidered cell phone bag here for 20.00. I liked it more when I got home. I bought earrings here that tarnished and i can't get them untarnished. Not even with Tarn-X. Still have them but they're a bit itchy. Would like all earrings to use surgical steel posts/wires. They have a lot of rugs and such, most are that scratchy kilim style. Some rage rugs aren't way overpriced. Parking can go either way. Go early or before they close. They have a parking lot, but i dislike parking lots if i can avoid them. I'm VERY against the doors on Sheffield being LOCKED. Isn't that against Chicago fire codes??? They even look blocked from the outside. Also a huge no-no.

Lots of great goods and free parking at this location. Their wine selection is very varied from all over the globe, including US and many countries in Europe. If you are a member of their loyalty club, you can often get a discount if you buy more than a certain number of bottles of wine, and often you can mix and match. They also have a huge selection of foods from across the globe, and it isn't limited to just snack foods, but things like sushi rice, noodles, candies, cookies, etc. They also have furniture and other household items. Join their loyalty club and you can save on stuff when they have sales.

Truly amazing. Wanted to give a particular big thank you to Charlene for going above and beyond this morning to help me with some furniture for a big move. She took all the initiative to help and went to the trouble of finding the furniture in another location (this location was out of what I needed), calling them to hold onto it for me until I get into town, and helping me sort out how to still apply my membership rewards. 11/10, very much appreciated!! I love this place, the employees are so helpful, the place is just wonderful to walk around. you're bound to find something that you can buy for yourself, for a loved one, friend, family, your home, etc. the furniture is very expensive but they do offer great sales, and the quality is amazing. Aside furniture they have a lot of ...well, everything else, food and drinks from all over the world, blankets, pillows, kitchenware, lamps, just a little bit of everything. some things are overpriced, others are very cheap so go explore!

I was at their North Avenue store last week for furniture shopping. Didn't get anything because me and my husband couldn't make our minds but what wonderful staff I must say. Paul and Johnny helped us big big time . My goodness what patience, customer service and not being pressured to buy anything. Evin at reception helped us with some coupons and got 15% on a toy we got for our son. We just left the store so happy from the experience of being there. Three cheers to Paul, Johnny and Evin! As many times as I have passed this store, I finally stopped in on Friday 5/5/23. Wow, reminded me a bit of Pier 1 Imports. What a nice assortment of goods. I had no idea it was like this. Bath items, dec pillows, some clothing, light fixtures, furniture, food items you will not find in a regular supermarket, an assortment of wines. I definitely will come back when I have more time. And thanks to the cashier D who helped me to register as a rewards member and answered some of my questions.

I always like this place. You can find Spanish reserva a very good prices. Silverware, and lots of indian handmade products. There's always a problem with the store uder stuff, and the people in the front desk don't know how to help you even if you are very specific in what you cannot find they always say the same thing we don't have enough people working right now soap corporate it's been really bad lately empty shells and no answer whatsoever to our questions.

Love cost plus world market. Great buys on essentials like candle tealights, kitchen cleaners, bathroom necessities etc. I especially like the wide variety of imported food products. So much fun investigating the food and wine sections. And I love their seasonal decorations and foods. Great string lights too. I don't know what I would do if they weren't around - I guess shop online only. Ugh! I hope to goodness that never happens.

I LOVEEEE world market! They have so much stuff - most of it is stuff you don't need, but want. Most of it is pretty good quality. I basically live in their world food section, as they have so many options! Everytime I go here, the layout has changed. I am pretty sure their inventory changes frequently, so if you see something you like, get it while you can! Their staff people are very nice and helpful as well.

Always one of my favorite stores. Love their eclectic selection of goods from around the world. Went in to pick up an online order and ended up grabbing a few more things. This particular store has a more extensive wine selection than I remember. Just sorry the West Loop location closed and I have to go all the way to Lincoln Park now. Fortunately, it's near a Red Line stop and a couple of bus lines.

I couldn't believe I had no idea this place existed until last November, it's an amazing place to find some unique items from across the world my favorite is the soaps from Portugal, the furniture they have are like out of a shabby chic catalog and all the small little details that they carry within the store you'll be wondering about for over an hour. Its very reasonably priced too!!

I always enjoy browsing at World Market. They have a great selection of household goods, decor and furniture items. They also carry a nice selection of personal and food items as well as wines from many places around the world. I always find the staff to be friendly and helpful. There is an uncovered parking lot with plenty of space and many other shops in the area.

Had a great experience at this location this past weekend. Sandra was roaming the floor while I was browsing the furniture section. She was not overbearing at all. Very helpful in getting me my table that was sold out. Had another staff member take apart the table so it would fit in my car. Overall great experience with their staff, from the floor staff, to cashier!

11/11/19 Very helpful staff, great customer service and found Mint dark chocolate kit kats this time! 10/24/19 The lay out of this store is very funky (that is why 4 stars instead of 5). However there is great customer service here and a great selection of international food and candy. Love the different flavors of kit kats this store has to offer.

The cashier screamed at me from across the store, in front of a very large group of customers, yelling that only service dogs were welcomed in their store. Even though my dog is a service dog, I was not only too embarrassed to explain that my dog is a service dog but also did not want to interrupt the customer she was supposed to be checking out.

I have been a World Market fan since they came to Chicago. I love all the unique items that they have especially their coffees the wine selection and their little specialty food section. This trip I bought olives they have a great big jar of Mediterranean olives that have roasted peppers and garlic to accompany them they are fantastic.

We buy all of our furniture here. Sometimes, if you buy cheaper items, you get cheaper stuff. They try hard to include items in every budget, but they have high quality stuff if you don't cheap out on them. I'd give it 4.9 stars, but 5 will do. They aren't perfect, but they offer furniture, alcohol, and food from around the world.

I really like the products. However, their pricing and discount/coupon processes are deceiving. This lead to a lengthy confusion at check out and purchasing an overpriced drug that was mismarked where it was displayed. It seems that the staff really doesn't understand their own pricing structure either.

Good prices and a great selection. It is a Pier 1 look alike with better prices and bigger selection. Lots of interesting things from kitchen and bath to living and dining room options ... including rugs. Almost a Home Good's feel too. I don't go here often but I am always pleased.

First visit. Placed an online order for curbside pickup. Called several times about the order and pickup process and the same person answered each time and offered plenty of information that assured me the transaction would go smoothly. Great customer service. I will visit again.
