I ordered a carrot cake from their website because it was advertised as being decorated with carrots and looked super nice. When it arrived... No decoration. I guess maybe I should have specified that I wanted the decorations with my order, but one would think when one orders something they’d get what was advertised. It seems like a silly thing to be disappointed by, but I had specifically purchased from them as a treat as something fun and I kind of wish I would have just gotten something from the grocery store instead. The cake itself was fine but nothing special. Delivery was good and came on time and very friendly though! I’m just not sure I’ll order from them again as it’s not worth the price to not get what you’re expecting.

A staff told me, this location has a purpose of being experimental. Great choice, the location fits the neighborhood. Great place to grab coffee, a treat and be productive. Staff were super friendly and happy to talk (even at open 7am) I love the feel of this place. I'm unsure how parking goes during peak times, as it only has street parking. Food was nice. Instagram worthy location as well as surrounding areas. I'll be back at another time frame to see the experience.

Quite the phoenix act this location has pulled off. All remnants of the urban bean and its owner have been swept away. The entire location has been given a fresh coat of paint and some new artwork that give the place a more relaxed atmosphere. Staff are polite, genial, and even conversational if you want. The baked goods are a welcome addition sporting my personal favorite, the cheese danish. Their coffee vendor is Intelligentsia. All in all this is great place to get a cup of joe, catch up with friends, or do some last minute studying before that big exam.

The London Fog is absolutely fantastic if you want something creamy and flavorful, without heaviness, that still has a moderate pop of caffeine. Sometimes there’s a sticky table but that’s really not a problem just like the only thing I have to say that’s critical, and it’s not often at all. Plus I don’t think they can control the general amount of stickiness some people just naturally produce. The staff is fantastic and super easy to talk to. As a whole, Wuollet vibes as classy but comfortable.

Staff is absolutely fantastic, and coffee is delicious. But as for the store? eh. there are NO gluten free options available, despite repeated inquiries and expressed interest. Even salads that should be gluten free have wheat containing dressing. It's pretty ridiculous and short sighted. The only thing I ever get here is coffee, sadly. I used to get things like gluten free cheesecake, but it seems those days are over.

Decided to stop by for a chai tea. Thankfully they make it in house, it doesn’t come from concentrate. The chai was delish and lightly sweet. My sister talked me into cake which was a win! From the either fondant or marzipan on top? Which ever it was it was nice and light but flavorful. The cake as a whole was light and had the perfect flavors of almond and slightly tart raspberry

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place so much! I started to come here about 2 years ago and now it is a daily visit. Each barista has taken the time to remember my name and my order. I now have made a friend who is another frequent Wuolleter, it’s honestly a place where everyone knows your name. The environment is inviting the coffee is amazing and the food is on point! I will always recommend this location and coffee shop to anyone visiting the Uptown area of Minneapolis

My mother and I come here once a week to catch up, play cribbage, and have coffee. It's a great atmosphere to chat, my mother loves to treat herself to a doughnut and chai, of which she never indulges otherwise which sort of makes Wuollet our once a week mini oasis.

Great bakery down town! Offered a pretty good matcha latte and had decent wifi for working and plenty of plugs. Parking is a bit hard to find but it is around on the nearby streets.

I love this place! I grew up going to wuollets and this does not disappoint! Friendly service, great high quality coffee, and baked goods to die for! They have great sandwich options in addition to the great pastries and baked goods that you would expect. I love sitting here to get things done or grabbing a slice of their amazing mousse cake (or any of the other amazing options) to surprise my fiancée at the end of the day!

  • Tristan Klausegger

Wuollet has raised their prices a bit (honestly, who hasn't) but I love the atmosphere at this location, and I especially love all the plants. The trick is to get 10 ounce hot drinks and 16 ounce cold drinks, if you get a 16 ounce hot drink, it will be $7+ This would be a great spot to cozy up with a laptop and get some writing done on a rainy day.

My boyfriend and I went here for donuts and also got a lavender latte and a brewed coffee. The drinks were great but we were really disappointed by the selection of donuts which all looked and tasted very dry. I expected much better from Wuollet’s. It felt and looked exactly like spyhouse which I believe this location used to be, much more of a coffee shop than a bakery.

  • Elizabeth Bennetts

Low frills coffee shop serving a small menu of baked goods and sandwiches. They have intelligensia coffee, which is a little different than other coffee shops in the area. It’s the type of place you can spend all afternoon if you have work or studying to do. It isn’t particularly cozy though, if that’s what you are after.

Cute spot in Uptown! A cozy ambiance with huge windows and great natural light. My friend and I tried the rainbow cake, and it was tasty. My friend enjoyed her iced lavender latte. I had a sip, and it was delightful. A solid choice if you’re looking for a spot to chat with friends or do work in the Uptown area.

I called to price out a large order for work. The person who answered the phone said I needed to call the bakery (that’s fine but how am I supposed to know that as someone just calling). Then they say they wouldn’t be able to do a large order anyway. The person on the other end didn’t even check, I wouldn’t want them answering the phone for perspective customers.

  • thomas R

The desserts, mainly the cupcakes here used to be my favorite in the city to purchase. Sadly there is new management and the quality has fallen dramatically. When I recently purchased a dozen cupcakes they were mostly light/dry and the frosting is hit or miss. if the old recipes comeback this place will be great again. (oreo cupcake was decent)

  • Joaquin Muñoz

Oh wow! I liked this place when it was Urban, and I LOVE it now as Wuollet Bakery & Coffee. Seriously good coffee! I had an Americano while I was here and it was DELICIOUS. Great atmosphere, nice background sounds and AMAZING windows that let in tons of light and sights. A super great place all around! Come try them out!

  • P H

Not a real “bakery” as they purchase most of their items fully finished and frozen. David’s Cookies makes a lot of their cake slices, cakes, cookies etc. - looks like they actually make very few things. Ask to see an ingredient listing and most likely they will have to read the box the product came in.

You can blow $18 and the still be required to pay $1 for a coffee refill. Decided not. And, not deserving of tips. You are already getting $15 an hour doing minimal coffee house work, which is pulling items from a tray.

Great local bakery. When we need a custom cake for a special occasion, this is where we go. Even more though, this business cares about its community and donates a ton of fresh product to local food banks to support the hungry in the Twin Cities. Great company with great ethics.

Hard to beat that coffee. Service is also lovely. Surprisingly their bakery is no where near as good as the stuff across the street at Zoe's Cafe. The baked items at Wuollets are like something you'd get in a plastic box at Cub foods. I mean, its better than nothing.

  • Pete Boisclair

Very clean and updated atmosphere. Loved my Lavender-Almond milk Chai Latte and raspberry bismark! Friendly barista, and they have some yummy-sounding breakfast sandwiches too that I’m interested in trying. Very walkable and bikeable location too!

Absolutely once of the friendliest, welcoming, just plain great food establishments I have been into in a long time. I wish I would have gotten the gentleman’s name working the counter, 5+++ stars. Will be a customer every time I’m in the area.

Favorite coffee shop in the cities - the coffee is great, pastries always fresh, the cherry danish I amazing!! Their baristas are also very nice. All in all, just always a great experience coming here

  • Sarah O

their grab and go sandwiches are expensive and not even made in house :( and not a healthy option AT ALL. 99% sodium and the sandwich had canned red peppers on it, on par with a gas station sandwich.
