It’s easy to look past your local furniture retailer in a world of overnight delivery; and in a city where everyone thinks everything is more appealing in your phone than in real life. But Zozi’s Loft - and Richard Nava in particular - was a breath of fresh air, with the kind of unparalleled customer service that seems like a lost art anymore. Could I have found similar furniture for my studio at any number of sites online? Sure, and possibly at more “competitive” prices. But nothing can compete with someone who ACTUALLY CARES about what you need and what you can afford. Richard made an appointment with me over the phone, and gave me his undivided attention as soon as I arrived, taking the time to not only ask questions about what I had in mind, but also to show me alternatives and make suggestions based on what he had in the store at that moment. And if I hadn’t taken the time to actually visit the store, I would have made all the wrong choices, and I never would have met adorable Dante, the chihuahua who acts as security and mascot at Zozi’s. I learned so much from Richard about how online retailers disguise the truth about particle board and assembly nightmares, and he quickly gained my absolute trust. Do yourself a favor and see just how far above and beyond an actual showroom feels compared to Internet chaos and confusion. Thank you, Zozi’s!

We stopped by Zozi's by serendipity while looking for another furniture store and after shopping for about a month in Z Gallery, Bo's Concept and a bunch of places in SOMA. It does not like much from the outside and it does not have Bo's Concept ambience BUT their sofas are as good (and perhaps even better) than any of the aforementioned stores for at least half the price. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that you don't have to pay $5k+ for a sectional. The staff is super friendly, accommodated us with the pricing and took care of us through the delivery date. There was a slight delay with the delivery (it was Christmas Eve and the sectional did not fit in the door, plus it was raining, etc.) and the delivery company wanted to charge us extra when delivering the sofa on the 26th but Zozi's honored the initial quoted price. And the sofa looks awesome (a beautiful sectional with a queen sleeper for $2.3k!). We will order more. My advice: look no further, these guys are the best.

There are plenty of furniture places to acquire goods in San Francisco . However the distinctive and specialized service from Zozis Loft where Richard and his team is above and beyond superior . Not only is this a local business based in San Francisco he’s been serving the community for many years. A local business in San Francisco that serves it’s customers with a community focused and personalized approach is much appreciated by this consumer. I purchased a sectional couch that was speciality sized to fit my living room. The service was outstanding, the delivery was seamless and the couch is my homes sanctuary and gathering space. Thank you Richard! Ps- Zozis Loft selection of pop art is far and away the hippest selection around! Keep up the great work team Zozi! great experience here. walked in at 5pm, told the sales guy (not Richard) that I needed a couch ASAP, what I was looking for, and he basically said said "you can take any of these couches you see today. OR I can customize one for you and have it to you in 1 week". So impressed with the service - not pushy, just wanted to help me find what I wanted. I looked around and found a great couch, so I bight it (~$890) and then he called the delivery guys to see if they could deliver that night. Which they did!!! I love the sofa I picked out. It legit looks like it's from west elm. but it was $700-$1,000 LESS for this one. ALSO: the cushion covers are removable for washing. I just love it so much! so glad these google reviews guided me to this place. wanted to leave another 5 star review to hopefully lead others here as well :)

A dream come true! Local business, beautiful custom design, and great service. I cannot say enough amazing things about Richard and Zozi's Loft. I purchased three different couches from high end retail outlets, but each one lack something from color choices to comfort. I live around the corner from Zozi's and walk in. Richard never gave me a hard sell, but took the time to explain everything about each couch and the many options available for customization. In the end, I created my dream couch. It arrived right on time, as promised. I am just so happy. Last night, I curled up on my brand new couch and read a book in total comfort. I hadn't done this in over 3 years. Thank you, Richard!!!

I can't say enough good things about Zozi's. Yesterday, I visited Richard to purchase a couch because of the great service that he has provided twice before. I bought a couch and ottoman about 6 years ago from Richard, which has served me very well & is still in great condition. The same goes for a large cushion chair that I went back to add to the living room about 3 years ago. My visit yesterday was to buy a new couch for my new apartment, and only due to the fact that the pieces I have will not fit in the new apartment. I can say for sure that I will continue to purchase furniture from Richard in the future!

Absolutely LOVE our couch from Zozi’s. We had visited just about every furniture store around and could not find any couch with the right depth, height, and material for us within our price range. Barkin was very knowledgable and helped us customize the perfect long couch for our space within our budget. He recommended the performance velvet fabric for our cats and they have not scratched at it yet. They organized delivery with an extra fee, and it took exactly the estimated 3 weeks to come in. Would definitely recommend Zozi’s for all your couch needs!

Zozi gave us great service, answering all of our questions and custom-designing the size, fabric, and mattress type for our fabulous new sleeper sofa! All of this at a very reasonable price (we checked more than a dozen other furniture stores), as well as reasonable build times (2-4 weeks in a market where others were quoting 5 months or more!), and with careful and competent delivery. Happy to recommend highly with no reservations and will return for future furniture needs. Thanks Zozi's Loft!!!

I ordered a couch in July and still have not received my entire order. What I have recieved is of below average quality. The cushions are already flat and the anti-stain fabric I ordered doesn't repel stains. I like to buy local, so I was okay with paying more for furniture at his place, but now I sincerely regret that decision. I will never do business with Zozi's loft ever again. Richard never lived up to his end of a deal we made, even though I gave him multiple chances to come through.

Nightmare Experience. I wish I could give Zero Stars. Summary: 25 Disappointments, 7 UpCharges, ~2 Months – and I didn’t get what I ordered. It is difficult to articulate the frustration and disappointment I have felt throughout my experience with Zozi’s Loft. What a wonderful experience I had shopping for a sofa at Zozi’s. Richard was not only able to make me lovely modern, comfortable sofa with a beautiful cornflower blue fabric he also had it delivered within 2 weeks, as I was up against a tight deadline. Amazing quality and customer service. Zozi's was highly recommended by everyone we asked when we were searching for a new couch. In the store, they helped us pick the right design, shape, right upholstery. Was delivered to us custom made in under 3 weeks. Have had this sofa for over a year now and not a single complaint or quality issue, and we are hard on our couches. Highly recommend.

It’s been 2 wks since we received our sofas from Zozi’s. Richard is very sincere and honest. We came into his shop 3 wks before christmas and he made us a promise that we will receive our sofas in time for the holidays. He kept his word. The whole process was smooth and Richard and staff were extremely patient. Will definitely use them again for any home needs!

Got a sweet mega deep custom couch here at a great price. Really comfy, exactly the color and size we want. Went to a lot of places before this and was shocked to learn that we could get a fully custom couch here for less than most other stores were charging for a non custom couch. Build the couch of your dreams at Zozi's. I know we did.

Not a fan of furniture shopping but they made it pretty easy. The staff was knowledgable and very accommodating. They helped me customize something to my liking. Also, they did a really good job on keeping things safe. Hand Sanitizer everywhere, masks, etc. I appreciate when retail outlets do the right thing like this.

I had a Facetime shopping experience during SIP and they were able to deliver the next day because I chose one model they had in store. Their delivery services is definitely worth paying for. seamless, fast and hassle-free. I love my couch and the quality material.

I got a couple of bar stools and was a bit suspicious about the price as they were a lot more expensive everywhere else. Anyhow I took the plunge and am glad I did. They came in quickly, where super easy to pick up and are exactly what I was hoping they would be.

I thought that my apartment wouldn't be worth the money to put deluxe furniture in it. It is a small studio that has what I need with limited counter space. I feel uplifted and more at peace with my new furniture at a fantastic unexpected price.
