Kesoonie is really knowledgeable about her products for dogs in my case. She's ordered things in for me during Covid, and stocks grain free kibble and organic bully sticks. Super helpful ! Parking is a challenge in her small strip mall location, and being on Yonge, prices are above local dollarstore, but you get the quality stuff. Nothing has fallen apart with our vigourous 60 lb 7 mo old loves-to-chew puppy. I was referred by a friend who is a long-time pet owner (dog+cat) and values the time and quality. I realized pretty fast that the vet had a financial interest (profit) in what he was trying to get me to feed my puppy, and I chose a higher quality. Read up on it. You'll look for higher quality for your furry companion too. Kesoonie will coach you on raw food if you're up for the time investment. Now I refer people too.

I have been a client of this store for more than 10 years. To be honest, the owner never had customer skills although the variety of cat food was sufficient for my pet. The owner's attitude was getting worse and worse and there were most always strange people hanging out in the store with her. She is always on the phone and cannot care less for clients coming in. She has too much personal attitude towards people she does not like for her own reason, God knows why. I am not coming back. Several times she had one price tag but charged a high price. She told me the price went up after I asked her about the difference. The worst service ever plus her discrimination issues. I assume she is a racist too.

We have been shopping here for everything dog and cat for almost 5 years. Kesooni is a wonderful shop owner, generous with her time and knowledge, knows about everything pet-related and just a nice person to be around. She is always honest about pricing and what would be the best purchase for the health and satisfaction of our dog and cat. I'm happy to support a small business instead of a big box store where the $s leave the community and end up in a faceless organization. The prices here are not eye-watering, however if you want cheap stuff, go to a pet store chain. If you want customized advice from a caring and knowledgeable store, shop at myPet Shop on Yonge.

This store is literally a fraction of Pet Smart inventory selling for triple the price. Let's be real here. The nearest Pet Smart is... A ten minute walk north of this shop. A two minute drive north of this shop WITH free parking if you're observant enough to find it. (Yonge & Empress) A single subway stop north of Sheppard Yonge station. A more WELCOMING and KNOWLEDGEABLE experience than this sorry excuse of a pet shop that doesn't even touch the bare minimum. Store owner's got to change her attitude towards customer service. She treats ANYTHING that enters her shop as an animal. It's disgusting and very humiliating to new customers.

I've had cats for over 40 years and this is by far the BEST store ever! From the first visit, Kesooni was an enormous help. I had two rescues a few months back that needed to be integrated into a new home with an adult cat. I was freaking when it didn't go so well and she was there providing expert advise, as well as personal assurances. She goes out of her way to be of service. I don't go shopping for pet food once a week. I go to myPet Shop on Yonge to visit, catch up on the week, meet other pet owners and pick up and pick up food for the cats while I'm there. This is by far the best Pet Shop I have ever been too, Kesooni is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what she is talking about. I have the best experience here all the time. I would recommend this place a million times over and over again, I will never go anywhere else! My boyfriend and I have been coming here since we moved into the area and amid the pandemic wanted to support a local business rather than large chain corporations. Best decision ever! Kesooni has been SO lovely and incredibly helpful, from ordering products to suit the needs of our fur babies to just offering us simple advice that has really helped us to become better pet parents, especially as first time puppy owners. You really feel like part of the family when you shop here, and we will continue doing so for years to come. 10/10 would recommend!

I was looking for a store that sold my dog's specific food brand as I generally travel out of they way every couple of weeks to pickup. I was happy to find this in the area and went to take a look around. I was absolutely impressed with the owners knowledge and friendly attitude. It's been awhile since I have had a dog so I had quite a few questions, she asked about my dog's behaviours/likes and offered solutions. Left with a few suggestions that I will definitely try.

Not sure what the two negative reviews are about... Kesooni is SO friendly. Yes, she does seem carefree, but it makes you feel right at home. She's not pushy, she just knows a lot about the products she sells and loves to get her customers as informed as possible, so they can make the right decision. She has been nothing but accommodating! Her shop is small, but PACKED with amazing goodies and high-quality products. I have to keep myself from going everyday!

When I first bought my puppy at 8 weeks, I had the opportunity to visit our local pet shop at the time and met Kesooni (store owner). She was extremely warm and welcoming to my crazy, energetic puppy. I loved the fact she was so knowledgeable about him being a rescue and best tips to keep him healthy. My puppy is now 6 years ago and we moved out of the neighbourhood since but I try to swing by since every experience is exceptional. Pi approved<3

I came to this store this morning out of necessity--i ran out of dog food and didnt have time to drive to my usual pet store. I was surprised to know that this store was just across from my apartment. The lady who i presume to be the owner of the store was absolutely knowlegeable and caring. She was able to help me find a substitute feed for my dog, since she didnt have my dog's food brand. Will definitely buy here again!

Small pet store. They sell a small variety of collars, harness, dog food, treats and etc. Nothing special. Things that can be found here, can be found at petsmart. The lady that works there seems a little carefree, and unfriendly. She didn't offer us much help or recommendations. There's paid road side parking along both sides of the street. But I don't feel like this place is worth paying for parking to visit.

Myself and my girlfriend were looking for a product that we couldn't find anywhere available to be picked up in Toronto. We came across mypetshop on Yonge and they had the product in stock (and they stock it year round). I met with the owner and she was amazing, so friendly and so knowledgeable. We didn't know about this place but we will definitely be coming back!

Even though the service was great, I didn't appreciate the way the owner disparages her customers behind their backs'. Further still was the fact that she said a couple of disturbing things to my face about some of my good friends (who were also customers at the time). Those things were more than enough for me to take my business elsewhere.
