"You going to have to try to control the homeless people that at your McDonald's the workers have to talk less to each other and attend to the customer this morning instead of giving me a fork for my big breakfast they give me a spoon last week they forgot to give me the fork and knife the kid behind the counter with his pants falling yes the one with the dreadlocks not in a hat he's dealing with food the table needs to be cleaned down regularly what a mess you need to do better"
"It's a hell of a walk up the broken escalator transferring from the E Line! Whew, I was about three quarters of the way up when I thought I was going to have to stop to take a break because my legs were so jell-o and I was only still moving up the stairs solely because my arms were pulling me up"
"relatively clean safe station"
"Had to say our recent NYC vacation could have done without a subway ride"

It's a hell of a walk up the broken escalator transferring from the E Line! Whew, I was about three quarters of the way up when I thought I was going to have to stop to take a break because my legs were so jell-o and I was only still moving up the stairs solely because my arms were pulling me up. I would have stopped had there not been people behind me pressuring me to keep moving and no way for them to pass because the stairs on the escalator are so damn narrow.
relatively clean safe station. i don’t have any complaints other than the crowding which has lessened a bit since the pandemic. the crowding is really for the 6 train local. with post-work crowds down, the station feels a bit less cramped during evening rush hour. i like that the 53rd St connects to 51st station via underground passageway since i am often traveling from that direction in the area.
Had to say our recent NYC vacation could have done without a subway ride. We were originally wanting to take a train as we had been told that unless you knew what you were doing, it was easy to get lost on the subway. Right - that almost
Look let’s all face the facts. No subway station is just perfect and wonderful, but as recent events have proven, some are better than others. This station isn’t bad. It’s also a little cleaner than some others I’ve seen.
This station is not tourist friendly. No sign says which train goes where. Maybe locals know, but tourists don’t!!! I don’t recommend to use this station. Walk a couple of blocks and go to Grand Central.
This station needs to invest in AIR CONDITIONING!!!! Even during the summer, the station had the HEAT on full blast!!!!!!!!! Its bound to make someone catch a heat stroke! Something needs to change ASAP
Fantastic stop. Great service on the 6 line at all times. Not sure why people are complaining about how long it takes to transfer to the E & M, since the two stations are about 2 blocks apart.
We were visiting and used this station quite a bit to visit friends in Houston. It was an ok experience. The card machines worked and we did not get stuck. The train arrived on time.
Corner of Lexington and 51st street. Long way down to the trains from the street. But as long as the escalators are working, it won't be an issue :)
Busy subway. Just becareful and don't stand close to the yellow line people. Whatever subway trains you are at. It's very dangerous. Stay safe!
For some reason, it’s easier to transfer to the E and M (sometimes) on the uptown side than downtown side, but overall decent station
How can one side of the platform be accessible and the other side not? This information is not printed on nyc subway maps …
51st street was very clean. Well maintained and friendly staff to help anyone unsure of Trai. Routes with current train work
It feels like being in a oven and of course, as usual, train have delays. Thank you MTA for this great service.
I don't like that the (E) and (M) platform's are so deep, but the Subway entrances are beautiful!
Has benches close to the wall. Like how the 6 has green circle with spotted lights
Nice station, but it feels run down in some places and a little hard to navigate.
access to transfer train E, M, 6 and. east side community, colleges, hospitals
If needed, use the transfer tunnel to get to the 53rd and Lexington station.
Relatively clean station with clear signs. Access to different train lines.

Igual que todas. Facil de ubicarse, solo hay que prestar atencion.
THE TRAINS ARE GROSS THE PEOPLE ARE GROSS THE SUBWAYS ARE GROSS
I Have no idea why but the train always gets held up here.
Nice stop but takes forever to get to or from the E.
No restrictions and cumbersome interchanges.
Very clean, tight, nobody bothered anybody.
It's in ok stop. Connection to the E.
