"The 59 street station is a good place to transfer from the N to the R or vice versa"
"I got off at 59th St 4 Ave in Brooklyn subway station to transfer from the R train to the N train because the R train is a local and it would take me 20 minutes or more"
"The station is convenient for N and R train rides, sometimes you'll see some homeless people sleeping on the chairs and on the floor, pretty warm during the winter and cool during the summer, many students take the train here, the N train to Manhattan rush hours would be 7:30 - 8:30, the station is clean but not new clean,"
What a BIG BIG disappointment!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was expecting what I had grown up knowing about Valencia Cake. This imposter cake is nothing like it. First of all the icing is SUPER SUPER sweet and bright shiny white. The flowers were almost neon bright almost like bright food coloring. Although the original cake was sweet as well it was NOTHING LIKE THIS. The original Valencia cake had white frosting and the flowers were bright but not overly neon bright. The cake wasn’t fresh and did a extremely poor job in trying to copy the original. If anyone reading this know the true Original Valencia cake my advice to you is save your money and don’t set yourself up for a big disappointment. I would have preferred to give this review a half a star but unfortunately there wasn’t a choice:(
(النص الأصلي) A good transfer station between the R ( local ) and the N ( Express ) Trains. This place is generally safe and looks decent but it could use some vents because it can get really hot and sweaty down here.
The 59 street station is a good place to transfer from the N to the R or vice versa. Waiting times are usually not long. 5 - 15 minutes. Station is kept relatively clean compared to other stations in New York because little to no garbage on the floors, the station occasionally has workers sweeping and cleaning the station. This station has been a transfer point for my travels for years.
I got off at 59th St 4 Ave in Brooklyn subway station to transfer from the R train to the N train because the R train is a local and it would take me 20 minutes or more. N train is express and it took me 2 stops to Atlantic Ave Barclays Center nearly 10 minutes. It's very convenient for a transfer without walking up the stairs. Express train saves more time then local train.

Not the best or cleanest, but it is 102 years old! But the people who travel here have more control over its cleanliness than the MTA. PICK UP YOUR GARBAGE OR TAKE WITH YOU IF THE TRASH CANS ARE TOO FAR AWAY FOR YOU FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! BUT Its WAY better than it ever was.
59th Street stop is a must to avoid! Too many bums and skells occupy this stop on a constant basis looking for mischief and somebody to pick on. N and R trains take forever to arrive. Supposed to have an elevator soon, I’m clapping with one hand!
A switch nearby is used by the N train during late nights and the W train during rush hour. Northbound R trains usually uses the switch during late nights until November 4th, 2016, when it stayed local to Whitehall Street. …
Maintained clean for the most part. The 60 the street entrance has only MTA machines and for the most part they work. Dam inconvenient when they don't because then you have to walk over to the 59 the street entrance.

Recently modernized, fixed parts of the station are very clean, with bright light including new elevator. Old areas are kind of dirty, poorly lit and depressive. R and N trains are running pretty good.
early in the moring when you are waiting for the N train you can watch the rats scurry under trash looking for discarded morsals of food. It's a fun way to pass the time while you wait.
It's been under construction for a while so it got very complicated around the station. Can't wait to have an elevator for wheelchairs and strollers!
It's the subway. It's dark, it smells, the homeless rule and the trains do not run properly, ever. We do see active shooters on this line now, tho.
This picture was during the beginning of the pandemic and it was like a ghost town but now it's starting to get back to normal.
Sus entradas por la 60 street son muy solas, no hay personal de seguridad ni taquilla de venta de tickes e información
Good tain service. You can hear the messages clearly. Food court 1 floor upstairs and plenty of places around outside
En general las estaciones de tren de New York son sucias y con falta de mantenimiento y esta es igual a las otras.
llevo más de 30 años viviendo aquí y me pienso quedar hasta que dios quiera.es bueno para mí todo es cerca
New elevator to help the neighborhood & almost finished with restoration of new mezzanine, sitting area
I waited 45 minutes for the R on a sweltering platform and a naked lady was smoking crack.
No one was at the booth yesterday. I had to go to 53st for the station booth.
Terrible R train transportation, long time waiting, shame to MTA,
Upgrading the station but still pretty shizzy if you ask me.
Express service station, 25mins to 34th st Herald square
Bueno este lugar es bueno lo normal para muchas personas
