Do not come here if you’re looking for a professionally decorated cake, reasonable customer service, or even very good tasting cake! My mother ordered a cake from here with very specific instructions- “I want frogs on the cake, but I want them to look like they’re hiding, in some grass, especially along the boarder on the sides and then a birthday message”. She also shared the sweet story behind the strange order, because it was a special inside joke for our family. The person taking the order gave her full assurance she understood. While placing that order they up-sold her on an “edible”, she agreed but said- “there’s a picture on your site that is just a picture of a turtle, that is not what I want” and stressed that she did not want just pictures of frogs on a cake, but for them to be peaking out behind piped grass or whatever else they thought would work, that they should be subtle and kind of hard to find. Well, she shows up to pick up the order and they presented her with a cake with four images of frogs on the top, and nowhere else, nothing but a plain boarder on the sides, and no the frogs did not look like they were hiding. Unfortunately she did not get a picture of their first attempt. Obviously unhappy with the cake she asked them to take off the images and try again with buttercream (what she had asked for originally, because she wanted them to be 3-d and not images), they told her they would try but they couldn’t put anything on the sides because it would have needed time chill (so I guess they could have done it before and just chose not to). While she was waiting for them to fix it, she saw a candied frog on a toothpick in a display case and said “wait isn’t that a frog? Can you just stick that on there and pipe icing around it?” They told her no because that was the last one and they were ordering more. The picture is what they came back with. Since the party was only three hours away she was forced to take the cake they made, or loose out on the deposit she had given. Having had worked in a bakery before I know that request wasn’t impossible to fulfill, but if they weren’t able to they should have just said that. Or not charged her full price since they clearly couldn’t fill the order as it was placed. But unfortunately they actually charged her extra for the image AND the extra buttercream they used to “fix” THEIR MISTAKE, all while having TERRIBLE customer service. I can’t imagine why a business would double down on a mistake and be so rude in an economy like this. We are all feeling it, and to over charge for something so egregiously wrong is just, well it’s unethical. They ended up charging her $80 for this cake with “frogs” on it, but if you ask me they just look like little green poops. I could have found something better at Costco and they cake would have tasted better. Myself and my family will not be returning, and unless you don’t care what the cake looks like, and are okay with mediocre tasting cake, DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

Update: I went back to pick up the first part of my order and was met by the owner (?). She is a very kind and very helpful woman who.took genuine concern in the review below. We talked about what happened and she apologized for the initial experience. The first order, Car Bomb cupcakes were delicious. I brought them to the office for St. Patrick's Day and everyonove loved them. The second order... OH MY GOD!!!! The cake we ordered for my son's birthday, Fortnite themed was absolutely stunning from a visual standpoint and even better from a taste standpoint. They ABSOLUTELY outshined the referrals we were given that led us to shop there in the first place. Our son loved the cake so much he didn't want to cut it on his birthday. It was outstanding. I'm not going to remove the history of my first experience, but I will say that I do believe it was an anomaly. Updated to 5 stars for the food, the talk with the owner and every experience after. We will definitely be going back again for more cakes and desserts!!! Let's start with the good. The pastries are amazing. The flavor options, the designs... Magnificent. Their cake selection, flavor and options can't be beat. Custom order with a blurry picture from Chrome, not a problem. We ordered a custom cake for our son and the price was extremely reasonable. The bad... The customer service we received was not good. Now I want to believe that it was the time of day, the day before spring forward, almost St. Patrick's Day, anything other than "It's normally like that". We were told we had to go around the corner of the counter to place an order. That's fine. We then stood there for 20 minutes, completely ignored by the people we saw helping others. There was no "We'll be right with you" "We're really busy I'm sorry" nothing. I asked 3 different people for help and the last person snapped "I'm busy helping them" when my question was "Are you the only person working?" The person who ultimately helped us had ignored us several times, and chose to help customers in an area of the bakery that had others working there. Once we did finally get help, it was great and our orders were taken without incident.

Sigh. Yet AGAIN I was extremely disappointed with this place. As a kid, we got literally every birthday cake from here. I stopped going bc I had a horrible experience, & they were so rude to my mother, and I haven't been back since. Well, I decided to give it another try, & got my son's 12th bday cake there Saturday. I ordered it earlier in the week. The person who actually handed me our cake was lovely & helpful & interactive. We decided to buy a few more pastries, so she then handed the sale over to a rude, surly, inconsiderate, unprofessional woman who during our interaction took every opportunity to be disrespectful. Her name tag said "Wedding Coordinator" on it. I can't imagine they would trust her with people's special day like that bc she was mean as a snake. Even my kids were shocked. I don't understand why they are so awful & nasty there! And, I paid $63 for a quarter sheet cake that tasted JUST ok, and the design was lazy & not thought out, & not beautiful & something my 11 yo son would have done a much better job with. Not sure who these people think they are, being truly nasty & rude for no reason & then serving substandard baked goods. It's really a shame bc I am a loyal person & love supporting local businesses. I will not make the mistake again of trusting them w my family's special moments. Even if their cakes & pastries were actually yummy & worth the price, Id never endure the abuse again. Don't support these people until they learn how to act & treat customers w kindness, courtesy & actually provide a service.

I went into ABC Cake Shop on April 5, 2023 saw a cake in the display case. (Note the cake was priced at $34.00). I wanted to order that cake for our Easter Dinner. The lady asked to step around the corner to get my information. She printed out the picture of the exact cake and proceeded to ask me questions. Aside from my name and number She asked: did I want the squiggly lines on the cake, I said yes. Do you want the grass on the bottom, I said yes Do you want the jelly beans, I said yes. I want that cake in the picture. Exactly that way She asked do you want the bunnies, I said yes. Do you want the eggs, I said once again yes. Do you want the chicks. I said I want the exact cake in the picture. She asked do you want the same colors. The questions went on and on. The ONLY THING I ADDED WAS MANY BLESSINGS ON TOP. Finally we were finished with the order. She then said your price will be $48.00. To my surprise. I asked WHY. The cake in the display is $34.00. I’m ordering the EXACT SAME CAKE. She gave some excuse that they may not make that cake again it was a practice cake. REALLY. $14.00 more. I disagree with that And if that cake is $48 then it should be marked $48 in the display case not $34. I will never go in the shop again. If I could give them zero stars I would. So due to default they get one star from me. There policy is unfair, unjustified and simply not good business practice. I own 3 businesses and CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY.

As a birthday tradition, we always custom order some seasonal iced cookies for our daughter’s birthday from ABC bakery. We have been pretty loyal since our wedding where they created a masterpiece of a cake for 150 people for our wedding. This year I went in and had the best customer service when ordering. I changed my mind on colors and shapes many times and the sweet cashier was so patient with me. I ended up calling a few days later to ask for a few all white iced cookies for a red dye allergy in her classroom. When I showed up to pick up the cookies they had purple outlines, which honestly looked cute as heck and matched all the rest of the cookies perfectly.. I asked the cashier if there was any cookies on display that did not have red dye and they didn’t. They’re all so beautifully decorated ‍♀️ I bought some chocolate chip cookies and signed the order form and went on my way. After a little bit of worrying I called the bakery and explained why I wanted the all white cookies, I didn’t want the little kid in the class to feel left out with a plain chocolate chip cookie .. they RUSHED an order of 3 all white cookies for me to match all the rest of the cookies. I’m always so thankful with the way ABC bakery goes above and beyond to make things special for my family. You guys are amazing! Thank you all so much!

My husband and I can’t thank ABC Cake Shop & Bakery enough for our beautiful wedding cake. It was what we dreamed of and some. Bryan was our wedding consultant that helped us from the beginning of the process till right after our wedding. He has the best customer service and knows how to exactly take the information you give him and turn it into such a beautiful work of art and the best part is you can eat it. We can’t wait for our one-year anniversary to get another cake from this wonderful business. We will recommend this place to not only other brides and grooms, but for all types of celebrations such as birthdays, baby showers, graduations, you name it. When purchasing a wedding cake the process can be very lengthy; however, we enjoyed the entire experience. From the consultation, to the cake tasting, and our additional cake tastings, to our actual wedding day when we got to share our beautiful day with all our loved ones, we all were able to enjoy this process. We got so many compliments on our wedding cake from all our guests and we definitely made sure to let each and every one of them know who made our dream wedding cake. I went through ABC Cake Shop for my wedding cake, and my husband and I both loved the result! The shop has so many options for cake designs, flavors, and colors that it was hard to choose what to do. But we ended up getting a mix of the white and marble cakes and the creme and raspberry fillings. It was so delicious! Brian was a fantastic consultant and helped us every step of the way in giving us the best wedding cake. I only give this review 4 stars for two reasons. One is that it was sort of difficult to contact Brian a few times throughout the process. I suggest that anyone who needs to contact him press "2" when presented with the options in the phone menu. Choosing to talk to a representative will get you to Brian faster than pressing "3" and going to the wedding consultant line. Two is that my husband and I brought our own ribbon to put on the cake, and its color ended up being faded. So I would heed your consultant's warning about ribbon and go with what the shop will provide. Other than those things, I'm so pleased with what ABC provided, and I'll be going back for all of my cake needs in the future.

Very disappointed with service of ABC cake shop. We recently had a new baby and his grandfather ordered a birthday cake for him. The cake was delivered and received without instructions about refrigeration. The day after delivery, we called to make sure the cake was ok to eat after being left out. “Brian” said that it may make us sick due to it being buttercream. We asked if we could have another made (even a small easy version) and he said that we’d have to pay for it and was extremely rude in his delivery. We had to throw out the entire birthday cake. We left a message for the owners to call us back and didn’t receive a call after a week and a half. Called back today and talked to “Nick,” the events manager, and he was also very rude and told us that just like grub hub, you need to take care of your own food once it’s delivered. We understand that, but it would have been nice to have some instruction on how to store the cake. If the owner cares about this establishment and it’s customer service, we’d still like a call back to follow up.

This was a custom cake (8", three layers, smooth buttercream), with a fabric black ribbon band and decorations (stethoscope, band-aid, heart, pills, and pill bottle w/lid) were hand-made from fondant; and the heartbeat and sentiment were from buttercream!! Mary and Kara (ABC's cake decorator and fondant extraordinaires) gave extra-special attention to this order. I sent in a picture from the internet (not as beautiful as this cake) that my daughter wanted altered a bit, then gave some instructions, and they crafted this cake to a tee, but then upped it up a few more notches!!!! Albeit, the price (about $130) sounds expensive, BUT the product, design, and quality, was every bit worth $300!! My son-in-law (the Graduate) and daughter were blown away, and everyone was in awe of this cake too! EXCEPTIONAL!!! So, if YOU have a special event, trust ABC's cake extraordinaires (Mary and Kara) to make a masterpiece for YOU too!!! (No, this is not a paid review, nor do I know anyone who works at or is affiliated with ABC Bakery.)

WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! I Have been ordering cakes from here for years already! I decided to order my daughter a holy communion cake because it’s a very important date! I put in my order Couple days before went to go pick it up on Saturday because they are closed on Sunday. So I go and I literally get a Cake that it looks like a kid decorated it!!!! I told them if they could fix it? The manager at that time said they don’t have any decorators at the moment to fix it so I asked for my money back she said she doesn’t have the power to do that! Okay? So I asked if I could talk to the owner because I’m not leaving that place until I get what I paid for! The manager ended up calling the cops on me the cop talked to the owner and told me to leave I repeatedly asked if I could talk to the owner to solve the issue! They kept ignoring the workers are extremely rude! Mostly one named TONY! So I ended up getting ripped off and getting the cops called cause they did a bad job on the cake and they didn’t wanna fix it.

I ordered a cake for my daughters 8th birthday, everything went well, picked up the cake. It looked exactly how I wanted it but then when it was time to cut the cake and serve it my guests took one bite and couldn’t eat it. It tasted spicy or as though they spilled the whole bottle of flavoring in the cake batter. It was horrible so I went outside and called the cake shop and was told there was nothing they could do at the moment and someone would be contacting me in a few days. Someone did call and told me that they would issue half a refund, and I was fine with that but after 14 days no refund ever went back into my bank account then I called them back and I was told my refund was issued. Here we are over a month later and still no refund. After I called and complained they were very rude. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Bad customer service and horrible tasting cakes.

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday and was in tears at how awful it was. It looked cheap even after the decorator tried to fix it. The girl at the counter said, “Maybe it was too much since you ordered a cake and cupcakes.” I called with a complaint the first time and said I was on a call back with the manager. Manager finally called me the next day and was very passive saying the owner would call me. I have not heard back and it’s been over a week. I asked for the Disney castle on this watercolor background. The background was beautiful but everything else looked like they just didn’t care. I’m highly disappointed with the lack of concern. I have had my UNM graduation cake from here and various other types of birthday cakes here but this is not okay, not only was the cake a disappointment but to get pretty much get forgotten as well.

I don't believe this place even deserves any stars, I would never recommend this place to anyone. My wedding is coming up and my mother told me about how great this place was and how delicious their cakes were. I was so disappointed. I was charged $10 for cake tasting (just for 3 filling flavors of my choice) before I could come in. Once we arrived the tiny cupcakes tasted and felt like they were made a day ago. The filling choices were ok except for the strawberry, it tasted like the worst off brand of strawberry jelly. Our consultant wasn't exactly the best either (she kept leaving). And then the ridiculous prices! You're charged for filling flavors? $430 for a cake that feeds only 60 people with 2x2" slices. I found a much better place for half the price, no hidden fees, more cake, no cake tasting fees, and much nicer people.

$35 for a dozen cupcakes that were as good as cupcakes at any supermarket. Meaning not so good. There are way better choices in Albuquerque. Wish I would have availed myself of them. Edit: As a reviewer, there is no way to reply to the "response from the owner". So I'm editing my review to answer. The person who purchased the cupcakes was Cindy Osmanski. There was no order, she simply walked in and purchased the cupcakes at the counter. Now that you know this information, are you going to change your price for a dozen mediocre cupcakes? Maybe re-work your recipes? Or maybe a refund? Ultimately, it doesn't really matter. I'm just letting the public know that you are way overpriced and the product is lackluster.

After spending about an hour going over what we wanted for our grandson’s bday cake(the Star Wars set with added Mario Kart figures) the cake they gave us had no Star Wars at all and was covered in black icing we didn’t want. They insisted we didn’t order Star Wars because they didn’t sell it, in spite of the fact this the SW set is prominently displayed in the store. Our order form showed Star Wars but it was crossed out and they accused us of doing that. It was clearly changed after we ordered and we weren’t notified! They didn’t apologize and offered no discount for a cake we didn’t want , but had to take because our grandson’s party was in a little while. We won’t be buying anything there again! Beware!

My brother got his wedding cake from here a few years back and I thought why not get my daughter her birthday cake from here. The cake looked pretty cool on the outside but when we cut into it the filling in the middle which was butter cream was a comical amount. The chocolate cake itself was the driest cake I have ever ate. It was terrible and embarrassing to have attempted to serve that. We landed up going to Walmart and buying a cake there. 45 dollars for something that went in the trash. My daughter was so disappointed her pretty cake tasted so bad. Was a big fan and would always tell people my brothers wedding cake was so amazing and to go there but now I can't in good faith even recommend this place.

Worse customer service! I went in to order a simple cake. I was told I NEEDED to speak with the 'wedding' department. Who then advised me I needed to get an hour appointment to review designs and such. When I already knew exactly what I wanted. I knew the flavor and design of this very simple 21 serving cake. When asked to speak with the owner I was told he wasn't available. Instead I got a 'manager' by the name of Sam. Who refused to take my order. Yes! I can't believe I was refused service here. I left my name / number to have the owner 'Paul' call me.! I still have yet to hear from such owner. Don't waste your time coming to this bakery in my opinion this bakery is useless. Take your business elsewhere!

I went in here last week to buy some cupcakes and had an absolutely horrible experience. I had forgotten my mask and they would not provide one or serve me. The employee at the front and the "manager" were extremely rude. My family has been loyal customers for years and we will NOT be returning. If you are enforcing the mandate then you should be prepared to provide masks. They spent more time arguing about not serving me without a mask than it would have taken to just serve me. My dad was with me and ended up buying the cupcakes...I wish he hadn't spent the money or patronized a business like this. And to top it off the cupcakes were dry, had obviously been frozen and were not fresh. NEVER AGAIN.

My fiance at the time, now wife, and I ordered a wedding cake here. We tried to make a minor change in the delivery time. After the contract was signed, there was no pretense of customer service. The wedding cake coordinator was hostile and refused to make any effort to accommodate us. Contact was eventually made with a manager named Sam who agreed to allow us to pick up the cake and waive the delivery fee. My family picked up the cake and was then told the delivery fee could not be waived, despite her word to the contrary. Despite multiple attempts to resolve our dispute, the company was unwilling to compensate at all. ABC Cake shop is dishonest, unethical, and has very poor customer service.

Spent over 100 on my son's birthday cupcake cake last year and haven't been back since. I ordered the cake 3 days in advance and when I went to pick it up at their scheduled time it was not done, or not started from the wait. I waited over an hour for it to be completed while customer after customer came in to pick up their cakes. Not once did the manager come talk to me or offer any of my money back. Despite the fact that he (A tall older white male) saw me complaining about the delay and making myself and the cake late to my son's party. Then to top it off the cupcakes tasted old and very dry. I would not recommend this place to family or friends.

I will never purchase anything from ABC Bakery again. Once the original owners sold it, it has gotten worse every year. The new owner thinks he can continue to profit off of the old owners reputation. They have ruined every one of the products and they keep lowering the standards and quality of the ingredients. If you look at their reviews the recent reviews will all be one star so then they pay people or have friends post fake reviews to try to raise their ratings. The cakes are old and dry and they stopped making the original buttercream which is what made this bakery stand out. Don't waste your money, Walmart or Smith's has better quality.

Got a napoleon-type thing with jam, a cream puff, and a cookie. Personally, everything tasted like it was from the Walmart bakery; overly sweet, super processed flour, barely nice to look at. A good baked good is not just purely sweetness, unless you like Hostess. Unimaginative, basic fare. I do not recommend this bakery unless your just trying to get filler items for an event that no one will eat. response to your response: every single item I got was overly sweet, the flour is super processed white flour. If all items I got were of bad flour quality, too sweet, and just not very good, it's not a situation where I'll be going back.

ABC's website and email signature clearly indicate needing 48 hours for a custom cake. I emailed them a picture of a cake for my daughter's birthday party 6 days in advance, and was told they could not accommodate my request. I tried emailing and calling to see if I could modify the original cake to something they had time to make, and I couldn't get anyone to talk to me for 2 days - they would only email me back. I gave them a picture of a simple cake, and was quoted over $200 for a buttercream cake and hardly any designs. It was pretty clear they did not want to make a cake for my order. I will never order from ABC bakery again.

First cake we got was our wedding cake. It was incredible. My wife to be kind on my birthday called and asked for the same exact cake from our wedding. They gave us something entirely different and dismissed and were rude to us when we pointed out what a bad job they did. And the cake was $100 for a 12”, 2 layer cake. For that amount it should be perfect. The cake was stale. The filling was bland and absolutely different than the first. The frosting had terrible decoration that looked nothing like the picture we gave. Heartbroken and disappointed, but since they were rude to us we will never go back.

I don't know why the bad reviews here. I went in to order a cake for my wedding reception and the folks were very courteous and helpful. I also got one of their cinnamon raisin rings. That was one of the best things I ever put in my mouth. Yeah, the prices are high but oh so worth it. If you're looking for cheap try the chain grocery stores not a high end artisan bakery. They made a Red Velvet cake with cream cheese icing for my wedding reception. Ready on time and absolutely wonderful. Our guests really enjoyed it. Again, you get what you pay for and, they were the only place in town to get one.

So yesterday I picked up my sons cake . I’d say the design was ok... nothing amazing or special. Taste was good . The filling was raspberry and it was pretty tasty. The biggest disappointment on the cake was it all stuck to the bottom . I payed like 50$ for this cake and it was comparable to an Albertsons cake definitely not worth the price . The only reason I came here was because Small Cakes was fully booked and their cakes are amazing . If your looking to get an average cake for a rip off price come here. Otherwise believe the shi**y rating on this place and stay away .

Totally unwilling to accommodate unexpected circumstances. I ordered a cake for a baby shower at work, unfortunately, there was a Covid outbreak at work, therefore the party had to be canceled. I called a day before asking if we could DELAY not cancel the order… NOPE wouldn’t let me. Unfair business only concerned with money… which they still would have got. Now I have this giant cake in my freezer which I hope will still taste right in 2 weeks. The cake looked nice though so 2 stars.

I used to shop there regularly. ALL my birthday cakes have come from there. Good cake. But, their prices are over the top. I won't be back. When a business uses "covidscuses" and charges nonsense prices because they can... I stop shopping there. Piracy based on nothing. A basic cake today with 6 flowers, very little decoration, was $47 total. Naw. I can make it to a grocery store or make my own. At those prices, I will. Thank you for the many years ABC, but I refuse to not have proper service and then be charged crazy prices for a CAKE. And, in the end, it is a cake.

We've always loved going to ABC. They made our wedding cake 27 years ago. Idk if there has been many different managers since then or different bakers. Quality and the positive family vibe is almost non existent anymore. We try to continue to give them our business in the last 5 years and I've actually refused to pay for a birthday cake decorated so wrong and done child like. The shelves in the displays are almost empty like there won't be any more baked goods for the day. We're loyal to this cake shop and we recommend them, so with that said, we'll be by next month.

We ordered our wedding cake from ABC Cakes and I couldn't be happier. When I called to make a cake tasting appointment everything was explained up front. Our cake tasting appointment was truly special. Our consultation with Bryan was great. He went above and beyond to show us other options and design elements. This was truly helpful in our design process. The cake arrived at our destination perfect and still tasted amazing as expected. I trusted them with one of the biggest moments in my life and I would do it again. I will/do recomend ABC Cakes to everyone.

I ordered a sugar free cake with 48 hours in advance, called they were very busy being holidays so left a message and got a call back with 2 hours Gave them what I wanted and needed and they just nailed it! I gave them a time to pick up then I had to change the time and called a day before they were just amazing. The cake was DELICIOUS. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures will ask our family if they have any. Thank you you are amazing

I buy a cake here about once a month on average to celebrate different kids' birthdays. I can usually pop in and have plenty of ready-to-go cakes that match my price range, style, and flavors. I've ordered cakes here in the past and they are always what I wanted. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The cupcakes and cookies and other treats are also delicious. Quality and prices are at a literal sweet spot. I prefer this shop over others due to their hours, prices, quality, and friendliness. It's the only shop I use.

I ordered a hot dog in a bun cake for my brother-in-law and was so pleased and actually blown away by the service. I was given several options to choose from for a design which completely amazed me as well. We had so much fun with the cake at the birthday party and memories will be talked about for many years to come. Certainly not the least of all the cake tasted beyond awesome. I will plan to us ABC Cake Shop & Bakery for many years to come. Thank you for a great experience.

This shop is adorable! Looks super small from the outside but quite roomy inside. Their display cases are beautiful and show off their products beautifully. The staff is super attentive and eager to assist you. I appreciate their protection measures in place at this time as well, limiting customers in side, requiring masks, and offer curbside pickup also. So happy we got our pie this year from them, and couldn't help but pick up a few of their other yummy treats!

I always order cakes with ABC but this time and the last time I was a little disappointed. I picked up my daughter's sweet sixteen birthday cake and it looked fine from the top when I picked it up but when I got home and unboxed it it didn't look like the person who iced it took pride in it. It's disappointing when you pay a lot of money for something and it's not done very good. I've been coming to you guys for years and I've never been this disappointed

I stopped by ABC to grab some cookies for a holiday party. I got a good mix of everything and was so excited to try them. Unfortunately we were all left very unimpressed. The Mexican wedding cookies had a weird fishy taste, the chocolate chip cookies tasted stale and other ones tasted poorly. I love supporting local businesses and will give ABC another try, but maybe with a cake next time.

All of our family have been going to ABC Cake Shop since they opened. We ordered two cakes in the last week and we noticed there's an insane amount more frosting than the layers of cake. The filling in the middle was almost an inch thick. ABC was impeccable in the past now it's hit or miss with the cakes and the staff. This last girl wasn't very friendly when I picked up the one cake and placed the order for the second cake

We have had several special order cakes from ABC over the years. Each time, the cake has be delicious and beautifully decorated. Cake is always moist and so good. We have tried other places, but we go back to ABC each time. Our latest cake was for a 21st birthday.....almond cake, cream cheese filling, butter cream icing. Excellent! The staff is always helpful and friendly....and knowledge about suggestions. Thank you, ABC!

We were sure from the minute we got engaged that we would be getting our cake from ABC. We saw them at the wedding expo and they told us if we signed up that day that we could do a free tasting. When we called to select the flavors they told us they would not honor the free tasting without a voucher, which we were never given. Needless to say, we will be going somewhere that honors what they tell their customers.

I bought 2 dozen of the butterwreath cookies and they were all flat and burnt. I complained to the store however I will not buy from them again we wait every year for these cookies and I am extremely disappointed in them. I just wanted the store to know that if they are at the end of the day with the batches of the cookies you might want to check the product but it was definitely not worth the $18.61 that I paid.

Horrible customer service lead me to believe they could make my son's cake after 2 weeks of back and forth via I finally decided to call. In explaining my ordered no one could help me and then to top if off while I was in mid sentence the last lady hung up on me. Way to represent Albuquerque, I've been a proud customer for many years but this is the final straw ABC cake is no longer receiving my business.

I ordered a cake to celebrate a birthday, the person who received the order was not the nicest person, just very quiet, but not disrespectful. She asked me for the photograph of what I wanted, I sent it by email, they had the cake at the agreed time and definitely when I picked it up it was what we imagined, the person who gave it to me was very kind. We loved it and the taste was delicious.

Went to pick up a last minute birthday cake today and was helped by an extremely kind worker. She helped my partner and I pick out the perfect cake and was just so kind. I won’t go anywhere else for cakes! We got a chocolate cake with strawberry filling and it was soooo good paired with vanilla ice cream! I’m going to be back soon for another cake! What a great amazing cake and dessert place. I went to order a birthday cake for a buddies birthday, and Sam was so accommodating and very helpful. She made the experience fun and so stressless. Bought a Strawberry Dream Cake, something that is not normally ordered, but Sam made lors of suggestions to make this a perfect cake. Pictures are examples of what I wanted.

Today I picked up my friends baby shower cake that was Halloween themed. I just want your entire team to know how much we all loved the cake it was absolutely PERFECT. Whenever I'm in town, I must stop by this place because their cookies is so good that I had to order some for road trip! I usually get those tea cookies with frost on top, and few varies of cookies that they have available. I had a birthday cake for my 30's birthday years ago and it was so good! This is my favorite bakery since I was little girl.

This place has gone down hill there is a reason they have have a 3 star rating. My mom ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday not only was the lady that took the order rude. The cake we got could've been made at Walmart better for cheaper. For a custom cake shop they can't make custom cakes. We will be trying a different shop in the future.

This is my second time ordering with this company in which the first time was a good experience. The second time, I needed to cancel my order in which was more than 48 hours notice, they charged me for an image they already printed and plus 15% cancellation fee. I did not like that they charged me for the image. I will not be coming back here.

I had ordered a cake for my sons 2nd birthday. Did not want anything special,but ABC cake made it a very special cake! I was amazed by everything they did to the cake! I purchased a Pokemon cake yesterday. Did not have any issues with staff when I picked up the cake. The cake I purchased was pretty small and the price was way too much. I do not recommend the marble cake, it does not taste good at all. I did get half of the cake chocolate with strawberry filling and that was really good.

We ordered a butterfly cake and some "Spring" sugar cookies for our moms birthday celebration. The cake and cookies were absolutely beautiful and yummy. The staff that assisted us in ordering were polite and professional. Very happy with this bakery and will definitely remain a customer. Thanks for a great experience.

Asked for a 2 tier cake after they said they couldn’t do the first few design pics I sent in and they did one huge circle cake. A different person answered every time I called and team wasn’t coordinated or on the same page. They didn’t match the picture we sent in the end. Could have got the same thing at Walmart.

We purchased our daughters 2nd birthday cake here, we loved the cake so much that we recently went back for gender reveal cupcakes for baby #4. We couldnt be happier. They did amazing on my husband's cake and cupcakes!! We wanted something to celebrate his completion of nursing school.... my mom showed them what was in mind and they knocked it out of the park!! The cake was a total surprise to him and we were in awe of the detail. My mom chose the bakery well!!

$120 for 2 dozen chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. I asked for 2 different designs thinking they would use frosting but all they did was use pictures and pasted them on the cake. They said the price was high for design but they didn’t put any effort at all. I will not be using them again

Mich is very helpful. He did my dads John Wayne cake and he was awesome and the cake turned out great!! Mich is awesome!! And his work is awesome!! Didn’t go to the cake shop for along time, finally went back and Mich helped me and I have been back ever since!! Won’t go anywhere else!

Always very clean and efficient. There us a limit 5 guests at a time so please consider that when you go. The prices are reasonable and the cakes are always worth it. They were fairly busy so please give yourself sufficient time. Ordering couple days in advance is advisable.

A lovely bakery with great staff and great service. The anniversary cake they gave us a year after our wedding cake purchase was sweet and it meant a lot too us. I will be using ABC for every celebration. Thank you so much. The danishes and cupcakes are also amazeballs.

Everytime I come home for the holidays I always stop in to ABC. The service was amazing and it felt wonderful to be there. Jay was amazing when we came and now we have some DELICIOUS biscochitos to take home!

So when I ordered our cake there was a pricing concern. Turns out we were quoted the wrong price! After speaking with the owner she completely took care of the issue! We are glad to be able to continue our relationship with this bakery. Still the best in town.
