I brought my Truck into Aaron's car care last month after I was involved in a wreck while traveling through Jacksonville. After the wreck my car had trouble idling and I was concerned that my engine was hurt so I had them do a diagnosis and estimate of my repair, after there diagnoses was complete they informed me that the engine in my truck was fine and that they performed a compression test and the results showed no leaks and great compression. So with that knowledge and after I paid $140 for my diagnoses I paid around $1000 to ship the truck back up North to my residents so I can have it repaired near where I lived. After I received the truck I took it to a local mechanic who tried to diagnose the ruff idling and misfiring cylinder, after trying everything he did a compression test on my engine and found that the cylinder misfiring had little to no compression. He then proceeded to try a leak down test and confirmed that I had a blown head gasket. If I would have know that with the original diagnoses with Aarons I wouldn't have paid for the truck to be shipped 8hr north. The cylinder that was misfiring was all the way in the back so I assume the were either to lazy to check that one or just forgot but I can confirm that they did not test for compression on that cylinder as there were still leaves and debris around the spark plug. Im aware that they have a very good reputation for the area and have great reviews so this might have been a 1 time thing but this was my expierence.

I've used Aaron's several times. I had good experiences until this week. I had my car towed after it broke down. I was told the next day that I'd be charged the $35 diagnostic fee. He gave me a call later and said he thought the computer was the issue and said that they would need to take it over to a dealership and they would take care of getting the car over there. He said it would take a couple of hours for them to figure out what the issue was for sure. I get a call like three days later saying that It is going to cost $1800 for the repair and that I already owe $600 for labor. I had never been told I was going to be charged that labor charge from the dealership. I told Aaron this and he seemed to think I should've known. Since I was $600 in the hole I decided to go ahead and get the repair done. I felt like I'd been tricked into this. I picked up my car and was also charged $90 for towing. I guess them taking care of it is me getting charged for it. My advise: make sure you ask what everything is going to cost before doing any business at Aaron's.

After having a bad experience with a automotive care from a national chain, I was suggested by CarMax to go to Aaron’ s Car Care for repairs on my vehicle. I was very impressed with Aaron’s. They stayed in communication with me about the status of my vehicle which impressed me very much. Additionally, they repaired my A/C very quickly and just in time for the Florida summer! They also listened to my other concerns about my vehicle (which wasn’t easy since I don’t speak “car” and had a hard time articulating my concerns in a precise manner), and made sure everything was in safe and proper working condition before I picked up my car. I also appreciated that there were no surprise charges. They notified me of any costs up front and their prices were more than fair. I am a very happy customer who will be returning to Aaron’s for all future routine maintenance as well as any other auto needs that may arise. They have earned a lifelong customer here. I am the Fleet Manager for a national preventative maintenance company with 400 vehicles scattered across the nation. If our vans are not running, they aren't making money. My local manager in JAX called me because one of his vans simply stopped running. I started Googling the area for local shops and found Aaron's. I called to ask if they would be able to get me in and serviced quickly. It was later in the afternoon on a Friday and Maddie answered and was extremely helpful and honest. SHe said they could not look at it today, but if we dropped it off they could take care of it on Monday. I received a call just before 5 from a gentleman that said they found the issue and it would be ready Monday. First thing Monday morning Maddie called me to tell me that our vehicle was fixed and ready to go. The pricing was very fair and the customer service was exceptional. I will definitely be using Aaron's again whenever we are in need of any auto repairs. I would highly recommend.

I usually hate taking my car into a repair shop. I needed one that I could walk to. I looked at recommendations and decided to go to Aarons. I called first to explain my problem. Rhoda was wonderful with me on the phone, and in checking me in at the shop. She was very friendly. I love my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. It's been a great car. So I left it with them. They needed to fix my AC, but also discovered some other small problems (belts) that needed replacing. She called to ask me if they could replace them. But the big thing they found was that there was no oil in my tank!. Nada. I've taken my car to another business for the past few years. But they have since moved out of walking distance. They did my oil changes. Hmmm. I met Aaron and spoke with him for a minute. Very nice and friendly guy. I would recommend this business to anyone. It's hard to be a female and do car shops. I felt comfortable here and will go back again!

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST place to bring your vehicle!! It’s always been my experience at other places that you will be nickel and dimed and have things replaced that weren’t necessary, etc... Well not here! I had the pleasure of speaking with Billy on the phone, telling him about a spark plug issue I had. He took down all the info on the problem and called back promptly after consulting Aaron. During the call, I could hear Aaron in the background discussing possible solutions, giving me countless things to try before having to bring the car in. He went through everything he could think to have me do, more concerned with my issue than with earning a quick buck. And that’s not the first time I’ve had that experience here. These guys are tremendously honest and one of the best in the business so if you have an issue with your car, don’t hesitate to call- you won’t regret it!

We always have a wonderful experience at Aaron's Car Care. They are kind, friendly, and accommodating. They are honest and I never feel like I'm being coerced into extra unneeded repairs or add-ons. Once they had to refer me to a dealer for something they couldn't fix, and they knocked a bunch off the labor price. They will often work me into their schedule at the last minute. (I also love that they open early!) While I sit and wait, I listen to the staff talking to and about other customers and I can tell that they treat everyone with care and respect. I usually wait with my gaggle of small children, and the kids love it because they can draw, play with toys, and just generally receive royal treatment from Aaron and his crew. A friend recommended Aaron's to me when I moved to Jacksonville, and I always recommend it to others too!

I am so happy I found Aaron's Car Care! I moved to St. Augustine a year ago and hadn't found a car repair/ maintenance service company I've been happy with until now. My headlight went out last night and every shop I called , including the dealership, had to order the bulb and couldn't get me in for a few days. I called Aaron's and Billy was able to take care of it for me same afternoon and in 10 minutes it was done for an extremely fair price, I was shocked. It's nice to see great customer service in action and I love supporting family owned businesses as well. When a company gives me Great service, reasonable pricing, goes above and beyond , it makes me a repeat customer. Finding a good mechanic.... Trustworthy mechanic is often difficult. I brought my car to Aaron's Car Care twice now. Mike and Maddy are awesome representatives. A communicate every step of the process. They supply detailed information regularly and excellent follow-up. In addition to calling regularly to communicate information they also send regular text messages and emails detailing the work and invoices. I wouldn't say it their pricing is the lowest, however I would determine it as fair... and coupled with their customer service and quick repair, I would definitely say that you get what you pay for. Most of all, after returning several months later, that was most pleased with how they remembered my name and information. I would recommend anyone to Aaron's Car Care.

I have been using Aaron's Car Care for about 20 years, I 1st learned about Aarons from My Mom and her Best friend, Aaron was good to my Mom so that made it easy for me to use them. Over the years he has work on at least 5 of my cars, including my wife's and son's. When you find someone you can trust, and is honest with you, you stay with him. Only bad time I had was when he told me my car was not worth fixing. I guess he really did not know how much I loved that car, so spent about $2,000 at another major rebuild shop. But since then I am still driving that car, and he has worked on that same car at least twice since then and I am still driving that car 5 years later,

Having just moved here from NYC, I wasn’t familiar with any car shops in the area. I could have easily gone to the dealer but I wanted to give the mom and pop shops my business. I found Aaron’s shop on Google. I couldn’t be happier. Billy at the front desk is a great guy. Was informative on what I needed, which wasn’t much. Aaron and his staff are good folk. They offer cold drinks, hot drinks, snacks, while you wait. Great hospitality. Exactly what I was looking for when I moved down here. I’ve been back several times for various reasons; oil change, tire rotation, tire replacement, tire repair, always leaving satisfied. Give them a shot.

My boyfriend said that these were the people that would figure out what was wrong. He said they are always on point. He has used them 3 times and had no problems. I was so lost and frustrated because i never had to deal with this before, but my warranty was out of date so it was all on me. They were very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They made a very stressful situation super easy. I have been going to Aaron's for over 10 yrs. I found him through a friend. Once you find an honest mechanic, you don't leave! And trust me, it's really hard to find an honest one these days! He stands by his work and his word. That's what's really important to me. A bit of good advice I received many years ago was you can always tell who's a good mechanic because they are always busy. Aaron's lot is always overflowing! Even some of the major TV stations in our area use him; I've seen their vans there, that says alot. I hope he never retires! I never plan on letting anyone else touch my cars!

I was referred to Aaron's be a family friend. I have two boys attending college in Jacksonville and needed a mechanic for them to take their vehicles to for routine maintenance. My youngest son, called and made an appointment for noon and upon his arrival to Aaron's was seen on time and was finished in a timely manner. This is important as he has a very tight schedule. I was hearing an odd noise in my engine . I called Aaron's and the got me right away. Found the issue and it was resolved in less than 2 hours and prices are extremely reasonable. . We found Aaron's Car Care by chance while heading back to North Carolina from visiting family in Ocala. Our Durango was overheating and we were stuck with no one we knew close by. We had no car, nowhere to stay, and no way to get home. Aaron's wife and his staff were amazing. They went above and beyond what they had to for our family including our dog. We were blessed to find these amazing people who are so caring and dedicated to their customers. I would highly recommend Aaron's to anyone in the Jacksonville area whether you reside there or are just passing through.

My car had been vandalized and attempted to be stolen on 9/11 of this year and I didn't get much help from my insurance company so I luckily found Aaron's on Google and it was the one blessing in this whole bad ordeal I had to endure. Rhoda and Aaron are both two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Aaron went way out of his way to try to get my car back as quickly as humanly possible without any help from my insurance company. This was the closest mechanic to my house and I am so glad I decided to come here. They saw me quickly, and were so honest and kind. I have an older car and had ended up buying the incorrect part to fix my seat belts, so they were unable to do what I came there for, but they didn't charge me even though they had taken apart my seat already. When they found out, they came in and told me immediately and asked me what I wanted to do there on out. Once I buy the correct part to fix my seat belts, I will definitely be back. I brought my car to Aaron's mainly for air conditioner repair after several hot summers, and to get a few other things addressed. The service was friendly, quick (done the next day), and fairly priced, plus their for-legged concierge has a real way with customers. They also sent a comprehensive inspection report including a breakdown of everything the car needed to be addressed in order from least to most important, which is very helpful info with an '05 model anything. I would absolutely come here again and recommend them as well!

I have lived in Jacksonville for almost 40 years now. In that 40 years I have only experienced two Auto Repair Shops where I felt like I was getting exultant service with truly honest people. If you take your car or truck to Aaron's with the idea in mind that you need something done and Aaron checks it and it doesn't need to be done, he's going to tell you that it doesn't need to be done. The other shop that I had a good experience with closed several years ago after the owner retired, so I am so glad that I found Aaron's Car Care.

I wish I could have given 10 STARS instead of just 5. I recently visited Aaron's to have a rough idle problem fixed. Aaron personally diagnosed the problem, told me what was causing the rough idle, what he needed to do to fix the problem, and gave me a quote that included a $500.00 part that I might need or might not need. It turned out I didn't need the $500.00 part so he removed it from the quote instead of selling me a part I didn't need. HONESTY and INTEGRITY that's Aaron's Car Care!!!

I have taken my Chevy cruze here at least 3 times. She was in for an oil leak this trip. They performed an entire inspection of the car with photos. I have taken both of my cars to Aaron's for service. The quality of work is excellent. What makes Aaron's different is that they will talk to you about service and the cost before they do it. I discovered Aaron’s by chance when my car was overheating and I needed a good mechanic fast. I pulled off the interstate and looked for “mechanics nearby” and read the reviews for Aaron’s. They were able to fix an issue that two other shops (one being the Lexus dealer) didn’t. I needed a service and safety check before driving the car across the country. I was able to get in, have the car evaluated (with pictures taken throughout the process), and the details presented to me after inspection. I was so grateful for their support and help through the process. I knew the car needed work and was happy to have them do it to ensure my safety during the trip. They were on the repairs quickly and got me on my way within a few hours.

This was the first good Auto Care experience I've ever had. Everyone was polite and Aaron was very thorough checking my car and specifically in documenting everything he found with pictures to prove it. We drove up and from start to finish, the customer service was amazing. Every repair needed was backed up with photos and error codes. This shop keeps you in the loop about the progress of your vehicle. This will 100% be my go to shop going forward. There is a full diagnostic ran on your car before anything. The repairs are quality, and you get all pricing upfront before any work is completed.

Thank God for Aaron's Car Care. As a woman, I can always trust they'll be honest with me about the work my car needs and not try to sell me something it doesn't. They just repaired my brakes and were so kind and professional throughout the process, even dropping me off at home and picking me up when my car was ready. I've used them for years and can highly recommend them.

They got me in and out faster than time that was quoted. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The only thing I was unhappy about was the charge for coolant. I expect to pay more than I would if I were purchasing it myself but seven times that price is excessive. Other than that, I would recommend Aaron’s over ANY OTHER car repair business in Jacksonville!

They managed to fit me in for a front end alignment and a tire change on a fairly busy Friday- and got it done pretty fast. Honest, nice folks and didn't overcharge. They try to take care of you right and do excellent work ;) I'll be taking out other maintenance work to them for the foreseeable future. Very, very highly recommended!

I always take my car to Aaron"s, it is the only place in town I really trust. I just drop my car off and they take care of it with maximum quality and professionalism. My very old, very rough 1990 Oldsmobile went from unusable, to driving smoothly. ‘Nuff said. They even fixed the side paneling on my door for nothing. Not to mention how thorough they are with showing you various pictures of every nook and cranny under the hood that may or may not need attention. Best car mechanics ever.

Going through my wife's grandmother's glove compartment, I found an old receipt from this place. They charged her (an 84 year old) $250 to replace an interior door handle on a 2004 Toyota Corolla. It's a $13 part and takes 5 minutes to change. I just did the other one myself. That's just sad.

My 80 year old mother stopped in for an oil change because of the good things she heard. They informed her she needed new shocks and struts at $ 2200.00 Took her car to 2 other establishments to check out the struts and shocks. Both said they were fine. Very nice..........

Went to have a oil leak checked. Estimate of $1,000. Supposedly needed new oil gasket. Found out later the bolts on the valve cover were hand tight. I won't return
