This was a tiny little Park with some children's play equipment. It's interesting because it is inside it's own little island of land, where the street circles it and old quaint historic houses surround the other side of it.
Absolutely beautiful village green in Old Hobart. Swings to let the little ones burn off some energy if they need to. Antiques, resraurants, coffee shops and bakeries at the cross roads one street away.
We came past the circus as part of a Carriage drawn tour of Hobart. They told us the history and it really helped us appreciate just how awesome this circus park really is. Great piece of history
This is a brilliant pitstop for both history lovers and families on walking tours through Battery Point. A unique location for an impromptu picnic...coffee shops are just around the corner!
Gorgeous little circuit of cottages constructed in the mid-nineteenth century. Take a picnic rug and a book to enjoy an afternoon on the grass, or take the kids for a play on the swings.
This is a beautiful space to drive past, nothing to fancy, just well maintained gardens with plenty of colour! I can only imagine how much this park is respected and loved by locals.
ATTENTION There are two hours parking spots here. But there is a space with YELLOW line and you would be fined if you parked in the parking area with yellow line. Stupid signs here.
An interesting historical place. It isn't a performing circus but rather a one way circular shaped street with Park in the middle surrounded by quaint cottages from the 1800s.
I found this park to be restful and beautiful. It was quiet and a well tended garden space. The cottages that circled were charming. Carried me back to another time.
Cute little park in the middle of a round-about style street. Would be really pretty in the autumn. There's a bench and some swings for kids to play on. Very pretty.
This is a slice of England in the middle of Hobart. Lovely little park surrounded by historic cottages. Wish this was emulated more in other parts of australia
Underwhelming. A small circuit around some older style houses, the kids park in the middle is just has a couple of swings. Don't waste your time with this.
Quaint historical park — William Buckley lived here— it’s a quiet green space for residents & visitors & walkers to get to Hampden road cafes etc.
These are very private homes situated around this beautiful park. Well worth a visit but please respect their privacy and not pist photos
Just a short stroll up from Salamanca. Quaint houses all in a circle offering views to Mount Wellington from the swings on a clear day
We stumbled upon this pretty little circuit while driving in the area. Love that each little cottage is unique from the next
Tranquility in the center of Hobart; this restful garden is encircled by small houses and cottages from yesteryear.
A lovely historic streetscape on Battery Point. Its like stepping back in time. A short walk from Salamanca Place.
What a sweet little enclave. I hope the neighbours all get on well and have a great street party each year.
Really cute little part of town. But nothing much to do once your there apart from do a little lap.
Nice walk. There is a nighttime ghost tour that takes you through here that's recommended.
So pretty. Must be annpoying for the homeowners but they maintain the houses beautifully.
A wonderful experience to sit and enjoy the construction of older homes in the area
Neat and pretty Georgian houses take you back to the early days of the colony.
Some lovely old historic cottages. An easy walk from Salamanca.
