We purchased a 1970's house with aluminum wiring and the original 50-something year old electrical panel. We knew it would be one of the first things we needed to fix since the lights were already flickering with minimal electrical usage during the first month we moved in. Aaron came to give estimates for both a panel upgrade and rewire. He's super friendly and personable, and knows his stuff. We signed up to also get an electric car charger installed since we wanted to eventually get an EV. There was a lot of waiting while PSE approved the panel upgrade because the wire servicing our house from the street was old (of course) and might not support the EV charger depending on our usage. But after a month of back and forth, we were finally able to get the panel upgrade scheduled and the process did go smoothly on the day of. Vince and Frankie worked fast to ensure we had power at the end of the first workday, and then worked quickly the 2nd day to feed all of the wires into the new panel. Vince provided regular updates throughout the 2 days so we knew what to expect and understood what they were doing to optimize the panel upgrade. I'll update this review after our experience with the full re-wire of the house--we're hoping it goes just as smoothly! **Post Re-wire Update** We knew the 8-day re-wire would be the most disruptive of the contractor work we'd have scheduled, but thankfully Vince and Frankie worked hard to make sure it was as low-stress as possible. We had internet for most of the 8 days so my husband could continue working from home, and they finished a major zone of the house each day so we could move around them and have power still being functional in most of the house. What we appreciated most about As You Wish was there were never any "oh we can't do this or that because..." excuses for not being able to complete something. Vince always offered solutions for any complications that arose and consulted with us instead of making new holes or damaging things without our knowledge. They were great to work with and will be our go-to electricians going forward! (I like to think that the name of the company is in reference to The Princess Bride since it's my favorite childhood movie. Even if the logo is a genie :)

First, Vince and his team, the electricians who spent days in my house, were amazing. You don’t think an electrical overhaul would be the fun part of a house project but it was a great experience. They were responsive, easy to work with, patient, and absolutely delightful. We had them take out all the old knob and tube, re-wire, and then wire for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. The house is 100 years old and has seen its share of DIY renovations. Pics of old lights (note the 8 switch bank across the room that controlled everything). Pics of new lights and switch boxes - coordinated with lots of zone options. Vince and team went above and beyond to make sure that everything we asked for was done with great care. It is not often that you have this level of customer service. They were also personable and fun, which made a difference since we were living in the house during the work. We are not electricians and had lots of questions and changed our minds …occasionally. Sometimes fixtures were late or the project was delayed. Vince and AYW were patient and took care of everything. They returned several times when fixtures were ready for them. All under the original bid. Vince would take us around and show us each new light, dimmer, zone, and switch saying “I think you are really going to like what we did here!” And we did! Our house feels safer. It can now accommodate the many electrical demands of 2 teens. Aaron scoped the project and adjusted it to make it work for us and our budget. And they stayed with the quoted price, no nickel and dimming. My contractor says AYW treats their people well and retains quality tradesmen as a result. He says, they don’t miss much and likes working with them. That matters to us. Highly recommend and will use them again.

Be careful and be aware. In my opinion way over priced!!! There’s a game going on!! Wow! Called these guys that came out on time actually early which was great. And I don’t blame them, gave me a bid for maybe a two hour job ( their estimate) when you break it down the estimate, they were charging $600 per hour for labor. Additionally they recommended a whole house surge projector wanted to charge $840, Same product on Amazon was $138. When I called I asked if this was their model and what would be their labor rate. They refused to provide any further info, that they provide project based estimate. Be aware when you hear this term. Unfortunately a few friends have fallen for this project based pricing model and paid far over market. The new model for service providers such as electricians and some plumbers is horrible and takes advantage of the customer. Essentially they come out you put your trust in them and typically not really sure what needs to be done. They give you what’s called Project based pricing, which is typically way over priced. But the catch is they can get it done right now. As a homeowner you’re likely frustrated with the process and don’t have time to shop or research, so you pay a ridiculous price. Just buyer beware. I’m sure the quality would be good just be aware of pricing what it should be. In my opinion these guys should be ashamed of themselves, in my opinion as a professional this is unethical and quite deceitful, just my humble opinion. I got two other bids from two very reputable electricians at $850 and $820 ( yes permit was included). So they were 3 times market. Just my opinion….Buyer beware and informed!!

We were extremely pleased with the services provided by As You Wish Electric. The process to scope our project was smooth and efficient. They worked to provide us a number of approaches and options to fit our timeline and budget. The office staff were helpful in processing a rebate ahead of the project. And then the scheduling was flexible to meet our WFH needs since power had to be disabled at certain stages. Lastly, we couldn’t have had better technicians than Luis and Alejandro. The duo arrived on time. They were great communicators (very funny too), making sure to check in with us throughout the day on and working with us when a couple minor challenges surfaced. Everything was fixed and resolved within the original scheduled duration. They also made sure to limit the mess caused by having to cut drywall for some of the outlets/circuits. We couldn’t be happier with the work that was completed and we plan to use AYWE again on future projects. Honestly, it was almost too good to be true. Like how often do home projects go so smoothly? (Almost never, right?) Definitely some magic with this company.

I have used As You Wish for 3 jobs in two houses, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top quality electrical work. They are extremely professional, do great work, provide advice, and a big essential is how knowledgeable they are. I had a house with knob and tube, they redid the entire house at a very reasonable price with minimal wall damage (they did have to drill a number of holes in the wall for access, but recommended a top notch wall repair company who did great work and when done, you could not tell where any of the holes were). The latest was a smaller job, but again, great job. We also added an item to be done (replacing some hanging lights in the kitchen), which they completed with no issues. They are not the cheapest company, nor the most expensive, but if cost is driving you, consider the quality of the work you want done, and the fact that you are getting electrical work done, which you want done right - not fast and cheap, but methodical, good quality, and of course, safe.

Christopher and his team came to my 1944 house last week for a big project that started with removing original knob-and-tube wiring. Then they rewired all the outlets and fixtures that had been on that 80-year old system. They also upgraded my service to 200 amps and made half a dozen additional small electrical repairs/installs while they were there. In houses that old there are always surprises! But led by Chris all the work completed inside, outside, and underneath the house got done on time and was professional and super-clean. I'd like to add that the people who did follow-up plaster repair at the new panel etc said they have never seen a house rewire with so few holes and so small - they said most rewires leave more holes and larger. They were very impressed. Chris and his team went out of their way to be careful with my walls as well as friendly and helpful and patient with my questions. I would definitely call As You Wish next time I need an electrician. Thank you Chris and team!

Stephen and Kacey came to install a new electrical panel for us. They are timely, professional, polite and courteous, and one could tell they are very good and enjoy their work. I normally don't write review, but what really stood out and prompt me for this, is on the day, when PSE came to shut down power for the work, they identified an issue and need to send out a crew to fix. However, PSE crew did not arrive until almost 5ish, the time Stephen & Kacey would normally wrap up for similar panel installations. They paitently waited almost 3 hours for PSE to finish their work and did not complain once. By the time PSE wrapped up around 8ish, they resumed the remaining work and completed their tasks. They still dilegently tested & labeled every outlets for me, did not rush a thing, and even helped to address two other electric issues which I had. I am very very impressed with them and would like to commend their work. As You Wish Electric is lucky to have such dedicated technicians.

Richard Coar & Murad Atayev were the installers for my project. They arrived before the quoted times and were ready to start work. They were highly communicative every step of the way to minimize any disruptions at the house and we’re glad to provide visibility to everything they were doing. They kept everything tidy, cleaned up after themselves every day, and were very polite to us and the neighbors! They were very thorough and gave me and my wife great comfort the work wasn’t just getting done well - it was being done right (not to mention finished it early!)! As You Wish offered a fair and competitive price given many other estimates and offered similar warranties as other companies. Their customer service line was easy to contact and no real “talk to a robot”. Highly recommend them and will 100% work with them again for my next few projects!

This is the third time we’ve had As You Wish come to work at our house, and there is a reason we keep having them back. They do excellent work, and communicate clearly. This time we had five can lights added to our living room and put on a dimmer switch, as well as an outlet added into our floor. The job ultimately took two visits to complete, as they had to special order the can light inserts so they would match the rest of the ones in our house. Nick and Cameron came out with two different versions, and let us choose the one that seemed to match the most closely. The work was done very professionally, and we are so pleased to have a better lit living room without a chandelier, dangling down and bumping our taller friends in the head. We will definitely reach out to this company the next time we need electrical work done!

Had a 5 star experience with As You Wish who have been stellar partners in planning and completing an extensive electrical upgrade. Starting with Dan and Madison for the assessment and quote, to two excellent installation crews (Adam/Shane+ and Dave/Nick/Mark). Over a few days they upgraded and moved the breaker box in my 1950's home, ran circuits for the kitchen and living rooms, as well installed Ethernet throughout. Every day the communication was professional, efficient, and friendly. These technicians really know their stuff and are super proficient at problem solving. I am a very happy customer and look forward to working with them again! Update: May 2023 Adam and Robert put in a ceiling brace for a 45 pound chandelier and problem solved a switch that was up against the back splash. Stellar work once again!

He successfully diagnosed, and repaired, a very challenging problem with my light switches not working, which ended up being related to a faulty plug / receptacle. Murad and David was the team that arrived and went to work, immediately to help our mutual client have power installed from the breaker box to the location needed to help facilitate the installation of a electric water heater my company was installing upon discontinuing the gas. Great fast service. We hired them to install new ceiling lights in the room with only a wall socket switch in a house in east Renton. They came a bit higher on the estimate than the other contractors, but I was able to negotiate the price down. So, quote around for price discovery, then hire these guys. As you wish electric was very respectful of the property. They were also very open to suggestions, didn't show any arrogance or tried to shut me down when I asked questions and suggested some options. I would definitely hire for any future projects. They also covered the drywall cut outs with masking tape and left the plugs which was nice for the follow up repair.

Dave, Mark and the other electricians involved in our project were all very professional and flexible as we modernized our home and removed the old knob and tube wiring. These guys were low impact and cleanup and getting our holes patched up was light work with the way they were able to drop new lines while minimizing cutting into our walls. The whole team was great about calling out impacts of their work as we moved along and they gave their insights as to what they might do to help with decision making when questions arose. All said and done I would hire As You Wish again for any of our electrician work. Very pleased with how everything turned out!

I needed pretty extensive work - replacing knob and tube wiring in 1926 house for outlets, hotwater heater, etc., new light fixtures hung, 50 amp outlet for EV installed. Vernon and Corban arrived on time, and completed all of the work carefully and efficiently. Vernon had to really wrestle to get that new exhaust fan into the laundry room. I appreciate that the entire house was left clean and tidy. They installed about 20 pot lights, two exhaust fans, a ceiling light, three in wall heaters, and moved the electrical box for out TV up so it would be hidden when our TV is moved up. We really enjoyed them as people. Very kind, helpful, and courteous. We have more work and will definitely ask for this great team again!

As you wish electric surpassed my expectations! We blew a fuse in our house and lost power. I called As you wish and they came to my house same day, and got our power back on. But, I was informed that our electrical panel is outdated and a fire hazard. We decided to have our panel updated. As you wish electric sent Vernon and Corban for my project. I contacted As you Wish Electric to see if they could give me an estimate for fixing my doorbell. Ryan was the electrician who came by and he was on time, very friendly and professional and explained everything in great detail and made sure all my questions were answered. While I ultimately opted to hold off on the doorbell repair to prioritize other home projects, I would definitely contact As You Wish Electric again for any future electrical needs. I greatly enjoyed meeting the electrician who came out - he was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. However the pricing seems very off - I was charged over $900 (diagnostic at $299 + the rest cost of repair) for about an hour of work (diagnostic - 45 minutes, repair - 15 minutes) for a repair that required no parts and was described as 'tightening a nut'. I greatly appreciate having the power back but the pricing of $535 for a 15 minute repair in addition to a $299 fee felt exorbitant.

We had a great experience from start to finish with As You Wish. Dan wrote up a clear estimate for us so we knew exactly what to expect from the start. Steve and Alex took care of our rewire and panel upgrade and were phenomenal to work with, very friendly and professional. They were on time every day, thoroughly answered all of our questions, kept us up to date about any needed changes, and got the project done on time. As You Wish Electric was excellent to work with. I appreciated the attention to detail, making sure I was aware of the reasoning that went into their recommendations and their ability to adjust what services I needed after being on site. I also liked the fact that once a tech was assigned, I had access to an online map showing where they were in their commute to my location, that eliminates the questions of “where are they? When will they get here?”

Dave and crew replaced all of our aging smoke alarms, put an outlet in our attic, and put a designated line for our EV charger on our parking pad. The work was done in a timely way, very professional. Dave added some personal touches by securing my EV charger and its holder and adding a hook for the extra power cord. The whole crew was very easy to have around and work with. All communications were clear and the work was done on time and on budget

Ryan was excellent and installed the sconces and switches in the exact proportional places and in the timeframe he estimated. He was professional, knowledgeable and even helped to fix wiring from the original construction that was not done properly. Lastly he helped to adjust the dimmers that were previously installed by another technician, further demonstrating the service warranty from As You Wish. Would highly recommend!

I was not at home at all while the electricians (Aaron Rommel and Andy Gomez) did the job, but I came home to a job done exactly as I imagined! The job they did was rewiring to add ceiling light/fan fixtures where there weren’t already any. They were even flexible with me having to reschedule one of the days of the project. Beautiful work, and they also cleaned up and I think they even watered my somewhat neglected plant?!

I needed to replace my very old circuit breaker panel. I was quoted a price that was exactly what I paid. Vince Ansell and Frankie Gomes went out of their way to do as little damage to my wall as possible. They were completely professional , courteous and cleaned up any mess they made. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and quality of work. Robby took time to explain options and give advice about car chargers and the best option to wire an outlet in our garage. He took pride in his work and made sure that the circuit can be easily modified if we need changes later. It wasn’t cheap but it was a reasonable price for the quality of work. First of all, I was able to get an appointment the same day I called which was great because other places I called had a 3-5 day wait and I had no electricity. Paco (Francisco) Mendoza was excellent. He figured out what was wrong and fixed it quickly. He took time to explain what we could do in the future to prevent the same problem from occurring again. I recommend this company very highly.

I needed to find someone to fix a job another contractor abandoned. As you wish scheduled the job right away and made some suggestions that I very much appreciated. I'm not sure what other companies would have charged for the same work but I feel As You Wish prices were reasonable. Sometimes you just want to get things done and not worry about it anymore and they certainly did that for me.

David and Kaleb arrived early morning and finished our electric panel upgrade that afternoon. Their work was exceptional! They were professional and friendly. We were so happy that the work was done in one day. We received the bid yesterday, and the work was done today. After a 7-month nightmare experience of delays and being ghosted by another company, As You Wish Electric saved the day!

The price (a simple installation of a single outlet with no need to pull any wires) was ridiculously high. It was literally a 15 minute job. I called “As You Wish” because they had done a job for me in the past. In the future I will get multiple bids. Service: GREAT!! Price: Disappointing.

I highly recommend As You Wish Electric! The technician that came to my home was Trent. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and transparent with everything going on in my home. He was patient and answered all of my questions and he made sure to explain in detail, so I could easily understand the issues. I will continue to use this company anytime I need an electrician.

Ryan is great! Professional, friendly and gets right to it! Ryan was great! We had some diy electrical work corrected from previous owner and Ryan took the time to walk us through the issues of what the previous homeowners had done and what our options were to bring everything back to code and create a safe environment. Robby with As You Wish Electric was super friendly and went above and beyond. He came out the next morning after I called for service, which was amazing because we lost power to our fridge and stove. We wasted a week trying to get help from another company through our home warranty, but once they got involved it was fast and easy.

Robby was so great! He not only fixed the problem of a flickering lights but he also talked us through what he was doing, how everything worked and why he was doing certain things. We feel so much smarter now! A few other things- Robby is friendly, has good stories, a cool screwdriver and made the whole experience really positive!

Francisco did a great job helping fix a handful of small problems we had around the house (bad outlet, panel for floor heating not working, etc). He also took the time to explain the issues clearly to my husband who was able to fix a few of them himself which saved some money. We’d definitely use As You Wish and Francisco again.

High quality work and smart people. My experience is that they are not cheap on the front end, but high value overall. Specifically, we had some unforeseen variables when we opened up the wall (burns from years ago) and they were able to remedy that in a fair manner and make sure it was safe. Recommended!

Installed ceiling fans and can lights in our loft. Looks great and now we can move some air around in the summer. The electrician also did a favor for me up in the attic. He reattached the duct from our bathroom exhaust fan onto the exhaust port to the outside wall. That was work he did above and beyond.
