Amazing service and company. Steven, the owner, works hard to make sure you are a happy customer and your electric work is excellent. I own 4 houses in Seattle, and every time I have an electrical problem, I call Electric Company of Seattle. Steven works with me to provide fast service. He has also trained an excellent staff of electricians, and Steven supervises most of the jobs. He also recommends solutions that are reasonable, price effective, and safe. In all of my houses, he has replaced many parts of my circuit breaker, re-activated old sockets, replaced difficult to reach lights, and re-done a lot of wiring. He has done this at all hours of the day and every day of the week. He will give you HONEST advice about the electrical system in your house over the phone for FREE. He always picks up his phone, and he does his best to make it out the same day. I wish all electricians were like the electricians at this company. Experienced, fast, reliable, and friendly. 10 star rating! He always gives me an honest bid before starting work, and his bid is accurate. NEVER has the bid been lower than my final cost. He knows the city electrical code, he makes sure you are safe. One of the first and best stories I have about the company is when my power went out because of a tree branch falling on my house. Originally, I called another electrician, but that electrician wanted to charge me $250/hour for weekend service and the other electrician recommended a 4-5 day solution. I called Steven at the Electric Company of Seattle, and he was willing to come out and fix the problem in 1 day at $90/hour. He had the right parts, and even improved my electric meter setup at NO extra charge. The only bad thing I can say is that the company is busy! So it may take a little time to get your bill, but who cares? The prices are reasonable and always cheaper than other companies in Seattle (SME electric, Mirsky Electric, etc). Steven is also a good business man and he finds a solution for your problem.

We renovated our kitchen ourselves recently and spent much time looking for an electrician to do the wiring aspects. We got several quotes from various companies but went with Electric Co of Seattle and are so pleased we did. They gave us a quote via email that was way more reasonable than other quotes, and overall communicated quickly and directly. I had several other electricians come out to do quotes in person but they kept trying to sell us things we didn't need and did not give straight answers to many questions I had. When Brian from Electric Co of Seattle arrived on the day, he was prompt, courteous, and thoroughly talked through what we wanted before beginning the work. He was efficient and detail oriented when doing our new wiring, and was patient and enthusiastic in educating us about what he was doing and the generals of caring for the electric in our home. As a newer homeowner, I am always looking for professionals who not only do great work- but are trustworthy, communicate clearly, and believe in educating the homeowner. Brian was all of those things- a wonderful human being and excellent electrician. I will definitely be calling Brian and Electric Co of Seattle for our future electrical needs! We are incredibly grateful for Electric Co of Seattle! We had an electrical emergency two days before Christmas, and they came to the rescue. Such fantastic customer service, especially from Deja, who immediately put our request to the top and sent someone over, and Brian who came out to fix the issue. Brian is extremely professional and knowledgable. Not only did he get to the root of the issue quickly, but he was very careful and meticulous. We learned a lot in the hour he was at our home, teaching us what likely was the cause of the issue. We trusted Brian completely and will be using Electric Co of Seattle go forward for all our electrical needs. I'm very pleased to have a new electrician I can refer with confidence! This company was booked full today as I had an emergent thermostat/furnace wiring problem causing no heat on a snow day! My usual electrician was out of town, so I called this company because they were close by, and what a blessing, even though they had never worked with me before, the office manager was very caring on the phone, later connecting me with Stephen, who (even though he was not even getting paid for it!!) helped us over the phone to assess our problem for free. I was blown away by their above and beyond service, just the type of high ethics you hope for in a family run business. I will be using them again!

Was able to book and ask questions over email with ease and quick responsiveness. Dan came out and was very friendly, professional, and efficient. It only took him about half an hour to fix some electrical outlet issues but he knew what he was doing. I knew the costs up front which was helpful which was an hourly rate. The only thing I would ideally change would be in the industry (not just this company) of charging partial service hours for smaller jobs much like if you take your car in that the service rate is high but depends on the duration of the work. I understand the need for a minimal hour charge though. Would hire again if needed.

Everyone who works at The Electric Company of Seattle seemed to really care about what my electrical problem meant to me as a person. When I called because my oven had stopped working just before a major holiday, they sprang into action. They knew how essential a working oven was to my family's ability to prepare for and enjoy a peaceful celebration. Their whole staff made me feel like my problem was the most important issue they had to solve. They were fast, friendly, and reassuring from the very first phone conversation. I contacted Electric Company of Seattle after another company tried to upsell me on electrical work that needed to be done to the tune of 8x more than was necessary. Stephen (the owner) called me personally and helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone and Brian came out and completed the necessary work in a few hours a couple days later. Professional, agreeable, fast, excellent - resolved old electrical wiring problem from the Broadview Duplex I live in that blew the plug right out of the wall and prompted the Broadview Fire Department to shut down the power in the duplex. WORTH EVERY PENNY! We bought a house that needed a new electrical panel and some rewiring done. Brian did a flawless job with the panel, and Dan even found and fixed some false grounding that the home inspection missed. 10/10 excellent work and very friendly to boot! Deja took the time to explain everything in detail so we understood what we needed throughout the whole process. She and Stephen even helped us navigate a permitting headache with the city (it’s a long story). We will be hiring this team for any and all future electrical needs.

We used The Electric Company of Seattle for a full re-wire of our home and a panel upgrade in January 2021. Stellar group of folks who were incredibly communicative, did a tremendous job and left our home cleaner than we left it each day they were here. We had a couple of things since the install (a faulty CO detector, and a defective outlet) that they have come and replaced no problem. We will absolutely use The Electric Company of Seattle for all our electrician needs in the future.

I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The scheduling was professional and prompt, the service was spot on and high quality. They arrive in a nice truck with lots of supplies, and do a quick estimate, then get right into it. I had a list of jobs saved up, which included installing new bathroom fixtures and new outlets. Everything was done just right and the area left clean and everything tested out to my satisfaction. No surprise in the bill and I felt it was a fair price.

After my regular electrician was stumped, he suggested I call the Electric Co of Seattle. They quickly diagnosed the problem and came up with a plan to fix it (part of my condo building had to have the power shut off). The great think about the Electric Co, the come on site with a big truck full of tools/parts - they had everything necessary to fix a very complex job in a little over an hour. These guys are the real experts, honest and professional.

These guys are awesome. I randomly found them via google and had them address some complicated electrical problems on my houseboat. Through this process I learned they had done the commercial work at my Hot Yoga Studio. Today I had a large issue with our residential landscape lighting and they fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them. I've worked with both Steve and Micheal and they are super competent.

Two years ago this company replaced a porch light for me. It is on a timer and lights up the area well. Now it is time to replace the bulb but with my arthritic hands I could not get the screws out. I sent an email request for assistance. One of their employees came by the next day! DONE! Now I have light in my front yard which is nice because it is getting dark quickly! This is "above & beyond" assistance. :)

After doing a great job upgrading my panel and service to 200 amps, I had Brian come back to install can lights in 5 rooms in my house and two sets of porch lights. He completed the work quickly, left my house tidy, and did a great job expanding the wall switches to include the new lights without damaging the walls. Overall I'm very happy with how the project turned out.

Brian got there ahead of schedule, completed the work promptly and with care, all for less than what the furnace repair service wanted for a consultation. Awesome service! I had a last minute repair needed on a rental property on Friday afternoon before Labor Day. The Electric Company got someone on site who cheerfully got it fixed for a fair price. He explained very well what needed to be done and did it very efficiently. with a smile!

Called them for installing a Tesla wall charger. They responded really quick and got the job done fast and properly. I am not familiar with electrician fee in this area but the service call-out fee was $240 plus master electrician was $120/hr just for your reference.
