Ultimately, the work done was fabulous. We needed a large amount of assorted work done on our newly-purchased home (ceiling fan install, GFCI updates on lights, fixing up exposed wires, breaker update and inspections, entryway light fixture change-out, moving/installing outdoor electrical outlets and adding switches, install outlets, install light timers, fixing outlets with reverse-polarity, among other small tasks). All the work was solid & up to code, & a follow up call was addressed quickly & appropriately. Getting the electrician scheduled was hard; there were numerous cancellations & rescheduling, not showing up on time, & the delays & number of separate appointments I had to make (6+) made things frustrating as a customer. I wish that I was proactively updated on arrival changes. Overall, my issues were clerical. It was hard when they did not show up on time (and not calling to inform me; I had to call the main number to find out when they would be arriving for an 8 am appointment), especially since the electrical work was located at different locations around the house...and I didn't know if I could use the kitchen or do laundry, since I knew they would have to cut the power at different times. While the work was great, I had issues with so many appointments and having to reschedule and wait around for them to show up, etc., in addition to not being proactively informed about scheduling changes. I would still recommend them, but I would advise you to be flexible in your availability and be prepared to call for updates if you want to make any plans around their "scheduled" appointments.

Exact Electric came out and estimated grounding our condo electical. Worst case they would potentially have to run grounding wire out to 12+ outlets throughout a 1400 sq ft condo. We expected and were prepared for a $5-10k project. They found a simpler solution however using our grounded conduit, and estimated verbally ~$1000 for the project. Asked when they would deliver written estimate so we could get work started, they told us early next week. Early next week came and gone. Over the course of the next four weeks, we called to follow up on the estimate and schedule work, and EE repeatedly committed that they would get back to us with contractors being scheduled 1-2 weeks out... and then not get back to us. I followed up by text, by email, and by phone. I talked to the estimator, and then on later calls to the electrician contractor - only to get the run-around. They both told me it was as simple as sending an already-written email on multiple occasions only to have them not follow-through. There's been no unhappy communication between us - just me: "hey when will you send over that estimate", EE: "oh its all written up I just need to hit send; will do that today", me: "okay will look out for it", and then never arrives; seriously multiple times over. I've lost count how many times I've called and followed up. This is a terrible way to treat someone - leading them on, running them around.

The people at Exact are all around good citizens. Any aspect of residential construction (including the business and accounting side of things) is really hard, nothing is the same, every house, every client, every project is different. The thing about exact is there depth of people and experience to navigate the complexities they built up over the years. Larissa the scheduling coordinator is detailed oriented and makes sure everything is ready to go for the team, that they understand the assignment and client and project goals and helps the team quickly and efficiently provide good service and value to the clients. In short, she's the glue between what the clients need and what the team needs to be successful. If Zach the owner needs to weigh in on something, he's a quick problem solver and coaches his team of leaders on thinking strategically toward providing efficient and seamless service through constant systems refinement and staff training. Although they have new people, they also have a lot of long term employees which is so valuable. If they make a mistake, they make it right, learn from it, and move on quickly. I'm speaking as a remodeling contractor who has hired them for many projects as well as a home owner whose had them at my house.

The scheduling staff were very good and easy to work with, the technician arrived as scheduled. Unfortunately, he was the slowest worker I have ever seen. He was hired to replace our existing range electric prong with 3 wires to a 4 prong wire with a new ground, all the way to the panel. He took 12 hours to complete the job!! I watched him tack conduit into the drywall in the garage in one spot for over 10 minutes! The work was begun on 02/20 and we still haven't been invoiced for the service, I think because he was missing a part (backordered he said) to be used in the breaker panel, and therefore the job remains unfinished. The work he performed was well done, and appears to be accurate, but I felt a more realistic estimate could have been provided by the scheduling staff. As a comparison, we recently had other electrical work done, by a different company, for a new heat pump installation and that electrician really hustled and completed the running an entire new electrical wiring from outside the house the breaker panel in less than 4 hours.

I had a new light fixture installed in the living room and 2 other light fixtures moved to a different location in the other rooms. Andrew was very professional, he verified where the studs where located and installed the box next to stud in the ceiling. He only cut the ceiling where he needed to thus reducing the ceiling repair work. I had him change the old light switches and install new dimmer switches as well. He spent the whole day to do the work which I felt could have been done in a shorter amount of time but looking back at the amount of work he did I now think it was fair. However I was surprised he didn't tell me that he had to come back to install arc fault breakers and I only found out after calling the office. Overall the quality of work was very good (compared to other electricians I have used in the past), communication can be improved and I will use their services again and do recommend.

Long story short, they charge by the hour so make sure you know what your needs really are before investing. In my case, a bunch of time got spent on an outlet update that I might have used a different method had I been more aware of my ask. We had a new outlet installed for an induction stove by Exact Electric, about 2 weeks before the stove came. When the stove was delivered, the new outlet didn't work; the breaker kept tripping. The delivery guys didn't know what to do but switch out the plug, and that didn't do anything. Exact Electric to the rescue. After we left a voicemail, they called us back and sent an electrician out within 2 hours. It was the way the new 4 plug ground wasn't setup properly from the oven manufacturer. They fixed it within a half hour, no charge, covered under warranty. Very appreciative and amazed at their responsiveness. Thank you, Exact Electric!

I found Exact Electric through an online search. The reviews were so positive I had to give them a call to see if they could help me with a 1,300 sqft addition on my home. Chad, one of Zach’s estimators, showed up in record time, was knowledgeable, professional and communicated well and frequently. I had unique needs/requirements that many of Exacts competitors were unwilling to meet. The entire Exact staff from those in the office helping me with project estimation, scheduling and billing to the those in the field doing the electrical work were incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, punctual and delivered high quality work. I have high standards and typically find myself leaving tough reviews, but with these guys, they deserve high praise. My only regret is that I never had an opportunity to meet Zach. I will do business with them again. Exact is highly recommended.

I needed an electrical panel replaced on short notice. After calling several different electricians, Exact Electric exceeded my expectations in terms of price, communication, and service. Exact Electric provided a quote for my project within a few HOURS, whereas other electricians took days, over a week, and some never even got back to me. This was just a simple panel replacement and other companies were quoting 2x and even 3x the price that Exact Electric gave me for the same project. They completed the project & had it inspected by the city within 5-6 days from when I first reached out to them, which I thought was very rare since I've had other electricians tell me they were booked out for months. Very happy with the result, service, price, and timeliness of Exact Electric.

I really appreciate the work that Exact Electric did in our home. We came up with a wishlist of things to fix: * Run cat6 ethernet to a few places in the house (tv, desktop computers) * Add some new circuits to the kitchen, so we can run our espresso machine and microwave at the same time without popping breakers * Add a new outside dedicated circuit * Add some overhead lights in our living room They did a great job. Their scheduler worked with us to find times their electrician was available. Their electrician did a great job keeping us informed on when he would arrive. He also did a great job containing all the dust from drilling. All the work is beautiful. I would definitely call them first if I had more work to do.

Switch Electric installed two new outdoor quad outlets on a new circuit, one indoor outlet in my utility closet for future installation of networking equipment, and ran network cable throughout my home. This was billed as "time & materials" with a journeyman and apprentice electrician, and was at least $1000 cheaper than the next-highest bidder! The work was done professionally and passed first inspection after one minor DIY fix (adding a cable staple). They required no intervention from me after giving the initial instructions, and they cleaned up perfectly after themselves, leaving only a few minor holes in the drywall that they pre-approved with me prior to doing so and only after exhausting all other options.

By far the most professional contractor we have dealt with so far at our remodel. This was a complete residential rewire. The team worked to find some creative, less invasive ways to rewire our 1928 tudor, we really appreciated the thoughtfulness. They showed attention to detail and the lead electrician took the time to explain some elements of the project I was less familiar with. It should be noted, the new panel is also EXTREMELY well organized, I was really impressed! End result, we had great work done by a great team who kept us informed, finished on time and at budget!!! Eric from Exact Electric came with an outstanding attitude. We wanted quite a lot of work done, of which one part was making it so the kitchen light switch could control the kitchen hood lights as well as the ceiling lights. Fantastic response time in an emergency situation. We found out at 6 am our power wires were fried when a street level transformer was hit by a car and the transformer burst into flames.
