On 28/10/2023 I walked into bean tree at 10:10 I sat down at the bar stool tables and waited for someone to bring me a menu. The waiters paid no attention to me it’s like I was invisible. During my time of waiting for a menu I counted a few white people who walked in after me and sat down and after a few minutes they got attended to. At 10:40 I eventually got up and walked out and even still the waiters saw me walking out and they just looked at me with a dont care attitude never even bothered to ask me anything. What a waste of my time and what distasteful experience. The owners of this place better come forward and explain what sort of treat is this as I’m never setting my foot inside there again and when anybody asks me about the place I’ll clearly say it’s a whites only cafeteria. The fact that none of the owners show up around the floor or even a manager gives a clear message of bad customer service. As a regular customer at knowls spar who often goes into bean tree I’m extremely disgusted and certainly feel victimized.

The food was horrible and the breyani tasted quite off while also being soggy. We ordered a takeaway. The staff were helpful and friendly but the waiting time was over 40 minutes which seems very disappointing, especially when you consider how bad the food was. The actual restaurant itself looks very neat and fancy, it’s just that the food has always been a disappointment

Good food & value for money However Service not up to scratch! Last 2 times I’ve been I’ve had to go to counter to ask for coffee ☕️ & menus. Definitely lacking a manager ! Staff friendly but need a manager to up service levels to what they used to be!

So.... Maybe you are like me... You read the previous reviews and wondered..."Should I try this place? But I am so glad I did! With my wife, we took a chance. The place is very neat and clean... And we had a very good and kind waitress ANUSHA who took care of us. Place is clean Food was good ANUSHA'S service excellent!

It took over 30 minutes to get our meals. Waiter did not pay much attention to us, she was on her phone and outside the restaurant. Very disappointed
