I took my cat to Dr. Turner for treatment of diabetes. I called the office to request a refill on IzzaBella’s insulin as well as the pharmacy sent a request which was denied by Dr. Turner. This is insulin....we all know the lexical significance. I received a call back from her Michelle which said she read over IzzaBella’s notes and Dr. Turner said that unless you bring her in for an exam she will not call the insulin in. She wants to purchase the libre system of which IzzaBella will not wear. It’s expensive and we don’t have internet. Of which I explained to her associate. Bottom line my cat should not have had her insulin with held until I could get an appointment. I am not sure what they term this in veterinary care but human realm we call that patient abandonment! My cat has not had her insulin now for days. Please be careful in whom you allow to treat your pets. I am simply appalled! She never picked the phone and called me herself. When she “reviews” labs all you get is that is high. What is the level? What is the normal range? But you will never be allowed to see the results. I will filing a complaint with the state veterinary licensing board. Unacceptable treatment!

I'm so happy I found this place! It couldn't have gone any smoother. I feel truly blessed and at ease now that my fur baby Roscoe is starting to feel better! Thank y'all so much! My Roscoe thanks you, and his brother Frosty also thanks you all! He was so worried about his brother not feeling good. The people in this office are literally nothing but angels in disguise. They were wonderful with my Roscoe! I called and had him an appointment for 20 minutes later and that was as a new patient! We have been looking for the right vet since his normal one closed down after COVID, and we hit the jackpot! They got him in and out really quickly and actually listened to what was going on. She also gave me so much advice on keeping it from happening again. We will be making them his and his brothers new vet for the rest of their happy lives.

Brought my dog Benji in here for a UTI they did great with him. Vet offered many options. I got him fixed, he still urinates a lot but it’s been better I haven’t noticed the foul smell. I can’t say getting him neutered actually did anything or helped the situation his urine is still dark sometimes & he goes frequent, it is very heavy when he urinates, but I would bring him here again. They seem very knowledgeable and took good care of my fur baby, I love how they took time to try to figure out exactly what was going on with him and didn’t just rush me or push us in & out. Also, a lot cheaper than other places I got quoted. I’m happy he’s doing better & I will be bringing him here over the past places I have been. He was very lethargic barely eating when I took him here. I was very worried about him.

If I could give a -00000 I would. We whent to get my dog an anal glades expressed and nails trimmed. The woman that usually hold down the dogs we was holding her by her collar and grabbing her my her body ... like is she serious?! The doctor was rough too.. we was pulling my dogs legs backwards to cut her nails. PULLING! Her nails didn’t even look good... I could have did them better than him‼️ Won’t be comming back EVER in life. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for dogs. They might do cats better. Definitely wouldn’t let my dog stay there for the 7 day travel package, if they can handle my dog this bad in front of our faces ... then no telling what they do behind closed doors. It’s so bad that I would hate to be the dogs that have to stay there. It would be animal abuse.

We’ve been at Bellshire Family Vet for years and have always had good experiences, but it feels like the team has really taken it to the next level lately. Whether they’re fielding a worried call from me or helping one of my anxious dogs through their appointment, every person we see throughout the process is kind, patient, and so very knowledgeable. Both doctors are always happy to answer questions and help me understand my options, and I always know we’re in good hands no matter what issue we’re facing. After living alone with my dogs through quarantine, there are days when they feel like my whole world, and it brings me so much peace of mind to know that the Bellshire Family Vet staff is in my corner helping keep my babies happy and healthy!

i bring both my dogs to the vet at bellshire and when i got a third dog that needed care and got her looked at and this dog is on a specfic medication and after charging me $230.00 for a visit which i got the medicine they refused to give me the medication script to take to wal-mart but earlier they were going to give me the medication if i bought it from them ,i have several years of notes from bansfield and value vet to support that this dog needs the medication be careful going to bellshire i really dont think they wanted my business anyway i will be taking my dogs bank to bandfield were my dogs can be treated with more love and care i have a dog suffering right now because i didnt want to pay 100 for a medication i can get from wal mart

I had to bring our dog "Snickerdoodle" in today. We thought we could save our baby Pug-pomeranian that my wife had bottle fed from birth. The mother of her had killed her other puppies, but my wife was able to save this one! She was a wonderful addition to our family for 8 and a half years! Unfortunately, her issues were too far gone, making it impossible to save her. We were faced with the fact that we had to let her go today, and she will be sorely missed! The staff here is/was absolutely wonderful to our dog, and us during the process! I have nothing but high praise for the staff here! They went out of their way to ease the pain of us going through our loss... If you want your pet to be in the best of care, bring them here!!!

On November 18, 2021, I found my future Vet clinic, I took my American Stafford to get nails clipped ,exam and Rabies vaccine, being he was a stray and I took him in only 3 months ago, I was kinda worried about how he would act, being im still learning him. To my surprise, he fell in love with the vet assistant ( Jessica) , as well as the Vet(Dr. Turner), they worked well as a team, I had no more worries after I seen how great Jessica was with Hobo. They both were very informative on every aspect of vet care, shots, check ups, and care. Great place to take your pets. They will make your visits pleasurable. They deserve more than 5 stars.

We didn’t know how bad our previous vet was until we brought Doolittle our 18 year old cat to Bellshire. Doolittle just wasn’t improving so that is why we tried Bellshire— and glad we did. So much of what the old vet had recommended turned out to be bad advice. They gave Doo great care and patience (he was not a good sport!) for the remainder of his long life. This week Dr. Turner and Jessica were just the absolute best with our newly adopted Siamese, Lili. We didn’t know how she would react to her first vet visit but it was just fine! Thank you to the entire staff. I’m so glad we found you all.

My fiancé and I are new to the area and have been looking for a new vet for our Golden Retrievers. We had our first visit at Bellshire Vet and were so incredibly impressed with them! All the staff were so pleasant and kind! They treated our Rocky like one of their own. Rocky’s energy can be a lot to handle sometimes, but they all loved him and embraced his crazy personality! Dr. Fields was wonderful! It was the first time meeting her, but it felt like we had known her for years! We are so glad we have found Bellshire, and we highly recommend them if you’re looking for a new vet! :)

I love the Animal Clinic of Bellshire! They were the only clinic we took our first dog, P.J. to when he was just a puppy..and they were always there for him through check-ups, illness, and when it was time for him to cross the Rainbow Bridge, they were so sensitive and compassionate. Now, my daughters' dog is using the services of the Clinic..and as with P.J., they are very gentle and knowledgeable about all of his needs. My daughter boards him there whenever she's out of town..and she also has nothing but good things to say. We are especially fans of the Doctor...and his staff!

Of course I attempted to chat with the office staff before posting. She was dismissive and not concerned. I was driving 30 minutes to this vet after moving. We had been with this vet for 4 or more years. I hate changing providers but the new male vet was not the same and the staff was not helpful at all. Maybe it's just the days I come. I used to get such a warm and friendly greeting and complete list of options for treatment. I was totally surprised with my last bill. Having to find a new vet for two dogs is hard when you have built relationships and trust.

We very much appreciated being able to be seen right away. We've been entrusting our last 5 dogs and cat with you for nearly 7 years. Dr. Ingram was our 1st trusted vet and Dr. Turner has also been exceptional. I'm unsure who the vet was who took care of Rocky, she didn't introduce herself to us. Big and strong personality. Given that our last 2 visits were to have to say goodbye to Dude & LuLu, it was an adjustment to have this interaction. Nevertheless, Rocky was receiving the care and he's doing fine. Happy New Year.

I was excited to see the New owner on the web page. I have been going to this vet for a long time. I considered leaving but the female vets and staff worked for the pets and not the owner. It is so great to see a female owner now who can appreciate the talents of the current staff. A true leader who can champion her staff. Once again the clinic helped me. My fur babies stayed with them for about 2 months. They had the best care and one of them was diagnosed with diabetes. He was treated and is doing very well. My usual vet office was booked out two weeks so I did some research and so happy I stumbled across Bellshire Family Vet! Got in and saw the vet the same day I called. Dr. Allison Fields was so welcoming and knowledgeable. The entire staff I encountered was super friendly and made my dog feel comfortable. Prices are more reasonable than some others in Nashville which is a plus. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet!

This was our first vet appointment after moving to a new state so we were nervous. But a friend of ours recommended Bellshire and they were great! The kitties were understandably upset and anxious about all the new sights and smells, but once the vet brought out a yummy treat to distract them, they were in a much better mood. I felt very confident in Dr Bolles assessment of the skin problem of our dog. He also offered information beyond my need which was enlightening and helpful. The staff showed kindness iand were considerate. Pricing is in line with other pet clinics. I was there for almost an hour with only one other pet patient, plan plenty of time. Overall, great experience as I have had in the past.

My little guy visited this vet twice and both times we were greeted with smiles and kindness. During our last visit, Jessica took care of my puppy-love. She’s a natural. He gave away so many kisses, I was afraid none would be left for me. This is such a down-to-earth, family type feeling vet! I have no intentions of taking him elsewhere.

Dr. Smith was very helpful in getting my new pup diagnosed correctly with a reoccurring allergy. She did a smear and determined it was bacterial. My only thought would be to present an invoice prior to conducting services, as when I went to pay I had no idea how much anything was. Prices are reasonable however. Glad to have them close by!

We love the docs at Bellshire! They saved my mom's pup from what we think was leptospirosis. Scary ordeal but they made it as easy as possible. They take care of all the family puppers and we appreciate them more than they'll ever know. Hugz to them from Doodlebug, Shaylabugg and all the others! And, there are a lot! ♥️

Our dogs first time to the vet in over 10 years. We have an old dog (14 years old). He had a bad injury and was there to get his his stitches removed. The staff was very professional. From calling to set up an appointment to check in and the visit with the vet everyone was so friendly and I could tell they all care so much a lot the animals they look after. I’m really glad I found this amazing clinic to close to home so my cat doesn’t have to travel far for great care.
