The trail I followed is mostly mowed grass, with a tree line before the sharp slopes down to the White River. Very safe, easy trail - at least before any attempt to cross College Ave or N Meridian Ave. I've followed the trail along Arden Drive (which runs along the north bank line of the White River), from about the corner of Holliday Park, to College Avenue; I'm uncertain if the trail extends beyond that area.

Dog-friendliness
Looks great, although I presume you're obligated to cleanup after your dog, like any other park.
Picnic area
No roofed pavilions, but I suppose it would be okay to eat on the grass, or one of the few benches.
Very secluded little trail under the overpass. I found it to be fairly noisy and a litte overgrown. The trails are okay and the view of the river is nice but the water was really low so not too much to see these days. I'd say probably good for a short walk with kids. I probably wouldn't go alone unless I had my dog.
This place was really pretty. I might have gotten lucky and went on a good day, but I went to exercise, and ended up really enjoying myself and taking some pictures. The trails here are really nice and secluded, with little things to keep you intrigued.
Nice alternative and connecting hiking trails to Holiday park. Parking is close to trails and trails are mostly flat... But what I really come here to see is the graffiti under the bridge, it's always good!
Beautiful scenery but confusing map and the rocks with numbers were not helpful when trying to use the map. A very clean and enjoyable walk.
It's really just a continuation of Holliday Park. So just as wonderful!
Pretty trails along the river! Several parts are wheelchair accessible
Really beautiful trails. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Beautiful park. Lots of chipmunks here
Nice area, some trash on trails though
Peaceful and beautiful.
Nice walk by river.
Beautiful trails
