This is the worst train station I've ever been to. The signage makes absolutely no sense and the trains don't give you enough time to realize you're in the wrong place. I was waiting at platform 1 because the screen there said Union and Pearson on it and I was going to Pearson. I then watched as the Pearson train came and left in the span of 20 seconds at platform 2. As some advice, go at least 30 minutes early to your train so you can see the train arrive and then know exactly where you need to wait. It may be hard to know if that's your train though because it doesn't really say it anywhere on the outside of the train. Godspeed
It's a station, a nice new and modern one as mentioned. I will state as others have... increased visibility of signage would help dramatically. Totally missed my GO Train as the platform is not well indicated and it appeared as if the GO train hadn't reached the platform when in fact it just load/unloads further down the platform. Understandably no refunds on the ticket I purchased which is fine. Irritating and I had to take alternative means of commute. Only staff there I've seen as the fare inspectors who just come and go with the trains it appears.
Terrible signage! Waited for the train on the platform and watched as others repeatedly wend to the Go platform trying to find the UP. What is the point of a PICTURE of a train when there are two different trains?? Follow the picture of the train and suddenly, no more signs! Getting into the station is no easy feat either. There is no link from the TTC. Another transit station designed for people in cars. Also, do not expect to sit anywhere other than on the ground.
Modern train station with some of the best service in Toronto. A good place to go if you want to go to the airport, commute downtown, or go on a trip somewhere. The station itself is modern and accessible but the exterior on the street is splattered in graffiti and the lower level is damp and dark. Connections to the TTC are in the form of a 5 minute walk which feels out of the way.
It's gotten better with this renovation...but anythin is better than the slab of concrete and a track ot used to be. Needs better signage for the visitors to Toronto on the distinction between trains and parts of the platforms dedicated to them. Even locals keep sitting in the GO lower part for the up. Elevator on East side has been down practically since renos ended.
Station is very close to Dundas st west . the station has elevators for accessibility . The train is faster then the up train can either go towards union station or Pearson airport and it is faster then the go train . The janitorial department has done a good job on maintaining the cleanliness of the station . Approx travel time = 7-8 minutes to union .Good experience
Only one staff member on duty, who was nowhere to be found. Routes numbers and destinations posted, with no information posted about where the train stops inbetween. Ridiculously frustrating and confusing seemingly incomplete . Not user friendly at all. Use a different station or transportation service if possible.
UP Express & GO Train. Close to Dundas West Subway Station, Local buses & Streetcars. FreshCo, Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollarama. The only drawback is signs can be confusing. Recommends that they have TTC Maps available. Still confusing where to Tap for UP Express, where to Tap Off. I can go on. Sigh.
pros: brand new train station. clean. free wifi for the Up express cons: no connection to the TTC subway line and one must walk outside to get there (not ideal when raining or when there is a lot of snow on the ground). No vending machines or shops inside the station.
Great location. The street art is well worth looking for. Really beautiful art. I love this spot for its unique art. Highly recommended. The train is great too. You can catch UP. There's a nice spot on a bridge nearby to watch passing trains and take in skyline.
Decent place to catch the train on your way to the largest airport in Canada. It saves you some money if u choose to come here and change to the TTC instead of going all the way from or to union station. Also there is transfer to the go train
Christine is such an amazing person who works for the go transit at the Bloor she’s really good with customer service she helped me understand how to use the go transit as a student I really appreciate it a lot …
Good service but when we arrived in the late evening, the exits were poorly marked or closed, and NO elevators, a problem for me as I am disabled! We hope for better access on our journey home to Vancouver.
Decent access for able people from east side. There appears a ramp under construction but unsure if it will be maintained in winter or last as it is made of wood and everything else is concrete.
No washrooms! The only one found was locked with a chain lock. Either the washrooms were not designed to avoid homeless people or because the govt has less money or the designer has no brains.
A subpar go location with confusing signage and boarding areas. No washrooms which I have never experienced at a go station and not many waiting areas that are sheltered from the elements.
Modern Station, gets you right to Union Station or straight to Pearson Airport. Close to the TTC Subway so if you need to get anywhere else in the city your on the Bloor/Danforth line.
Difficult to get around within the station. Both platforms have the sign of UP. Not clear which one goes to the airport and which one goes to downtown. Signs are not clear
Station itself is nice and modern. But the connection to Dundas West is a nightmare for anyone who's not a local. There should be more signage directing people
It's a great station.... however.... all the co struction is becoming a real pain. When it's all done this is going to be a 5/5 for sure....
Is there a -5 stars option for this horrible service .. can taxpayers start a refund campaign .. absolutely useless company/service
my favourite up station. trains always are there when google maps says they will be there. easy way to get to a Jays game
Need way better signage. Always confused as to which platform I’m supposed to be on even though the station is so small.
Terrible signage. Nearly missed the train because of it. Would not be hard to fix this.
Nice access to the UP Express. The Presto tap on/off machines could be placed better.
Modern sleek my ASS!!!! I miss the old GO Transit before crookedlinx took over!!!
Clear signs, relatively clean subway traffic hub. Well done.
The signage couldn't get worse if they deliberately tried.
Super convenient to get to the airport from here.
Well kept station, but no easy transfer
Its amazing when you try the UP express
It's ok, my first time on it!
Never bathroom access..
Very handy station.
Good
