The station is currently under construction and will remain under construction until late 2025-2027. Due to leadership incompetence at Go, the station is left with extremely limited entrances and exits. There is no planing to this project and Go leadership have abandoned their front of line staff at this location. It is truly a free for all here with makeshift signs, customers directing others where to go, and very angry crowds gathering at a fence they’ve put up blocking a public pathway leading to the station. I would suggest avoiding the station if possible. If you can’t avoid it, give yourself a lot of extra time.
Long Branch is an OK station as far as GO transit is concerned. It is not fully accessible which is unfortunate and it also does not offer much shelter such as newer GO stations. There is a heated waiting area with restrooms and a ticket booth which is convenient. Service at this station is very frequent and you rarely wait more than 20 minutes for a train on the Lakeshore West Line. There are also transfers available to TTC streetcar services to downtown Toronto however this is much slower.
Great station, we were honestly shocked to find a real life human working here. Bought two tickets to Union Station and it felt super affordable. The train arrived just as we did basically and it was impressively clean - very nice set up. Fairly quiet ride and appreciated that I could actually here the announcer as opposed to some transit systems. Overall quite impressed with our first Go train experience!
I was there today and I just wanted to say that the man working there pretty sure his name was Vince, was just amazing. He was so helpful to myself and literally every person that had a question or needed help. He was always cleaning door handles and such which I thought was great :) He was just so nice and so genuine it really made my day!!! And I hope he sees this so he knows how great hes doing!!!
The station is well maintained. Easily accessible through the road. The bus station is close by , 2 mins walk. I see there is no lift facility available to reach the platform, and u got to take the stairs, if with baby stroller u might want to carry it in hand till platform. After hours u may need to check the TV outside at the entrance for the train timings as the station building will be closed.
Imagine running late for the train and you go try to park your car and all of the parking spots are reserved. It’s actually ridiculous. How do they expect people who have cars to use the train the only redeeming factor of this train station is the staff very friendly people.
Fair sized train station servicing an area that is right in between the boundaries of Etobicoke and Mississauga. You can transfer to either TTC or MiWay coming off the GO Train. Great views outside of the station to watch the trains traveling Eastbound and Westbound.
Trains almost always arrive exactly on the minute—sometimes give or take a minute, which makes planning my commute easier. The shelters on the platform are not really sufficient for cold weather, so make sure to dress for a 10-20 minute wait in the cold.
Great station, but not accessible. No elevator, and stairs are the only option to reach the platform. If you require an accessible station, this is not for you I'm afraid. Apparently Go has plans to improve it in a few years.
Great place to wait for the train. There are tracks, heated shelters, platforms, stairs, yellow lines and lots of signs.. Could be better lit in the evenings. Cool place to smoke weed. BUT NOT IN THE SHELTERS THATS RUDE
Good Station. Always Clean Go to Platform 1 to Take train Towards Oakville,Bronte, etc. and take Platform 2 for Union and Eglington Station. Long Branch Loop is nearby from where MiWay And TTC and 501 Tram is Available.
Very helpful, informative. A safe exchange hub for Marketplace or Kijiji, bike racks, Bixi bike rental, Marie Curtis Park & Beach 10mon walk, access to Mississauga Transit and TTC. GET OUT AND ENJOY THIS CITY!
Decent station for the size. Lots of parking on the weekend and easily accessible when bringing my dog on the go train as well. Finding the right track is easy as well with multiple TVs around.
ZERO parking, all reserved spots, all tag or tow. Plan trip accordingly, long Branch and mimico station are terrible stations to start at if you’re driving part way into Exhibition or Toronto.
This station is in much need of more parking spaces. You need to get there by 7:00am to have a chance at finding one. Otherwise, the location is great. The trains manage to find it every time.
Well connected GO station along the Lakeshore West line that is well connected to the TTC streetcar and bus loop of the same name. Also parking lot available. This station is NOT accessible
You've made a mess of north access, have to take a huge detour from the parkside. Shame on you GO for not handling alternate access to north and causing such an inconvenience to people.
A great Train Station - very clean and relatively new looking. The platform is a short distance from the station and is a close walk to the bus loop for the TTC. - Richard Trus Review
Very nice location, not crowded, riders very friendly, no parking issue, ticket machine available. I visit every day as shuttle bus driver weekdays it's wonderful train station
Nice station, but very small parking. If you have no reserved parking spot, most likely you won't have a chance to park your car. Keep that in mind.
The welcoming edge of mississauga and west toronto meet up Enough said etobicoke and port credit come together. Lake ontario is so beautiful here
Easily accessible Go Train Station. Not the biggest and most fun to wait but helpful staff and good to be able to wait inside in bad weather.
Not to bad. Clean, good orientation signage. Close to bus, streetcar and parking. Wheelchair accessible, washroom and presto recharge.
Serene location....birds chirping, gentle breeze...I love to be in this station...They have all the Go station facilities...
Only a short stop away from Mimico. Sometimes it's cold, so bring extra layers in the winter while waiting for the train.
Why aren't there markings for every stop on every # line? Kinda counter intuitive here unless you've done it a bunch.
Way finding in this station is kind of hard. Couldnt find anything to show where the trains arriving were going
Under construction so parking is limited and only one narrow entry for now , which makes Rush hour chaotic
They are working on making the station more accessible. Those with strollers, wheelchairs...beware for now
Needs a bigger parking lot...got there at 1030 am on a friday...no spots...even worse than port credit go
There's no elevator here no access 2 trains if u can't walk up stairs and there's 2 sets of stairs.
Not a lot of space to lock your bike. A lot of abandon bikes just chilling, taking up space
missed my class cuz they gave wrong information on which track the train should be in.
No elevators. The platforms are not accessible to wheelchairs, walkers, strollers etc
Very nice staff. Clean station. Very convenient close to loop and to my home. …
Where the heck are we supposed to park our cars. Probably the most garbage station
Looks tired but there is some construction and limited parking during the week.
Decent go station. Ticket agent, bathrooms, parking and seating on site.
Horrible parking! The construction took away all the free parking spots
More reserved parking slots than free for Go transit passengers
No parking available. Cannot purchase reserved parking either.
Very convenient. Ticket lady was nice enough. Lots of parking.
I do wish they had an elevator. Nice, smaller station.
mississauga and ttc transit available at this stop.
It works just fine! Hasn't changed much in 40y.
Is a good place to take the Go Train
Found parking middle of the day.
Staff are always knowledgeable!
Not wheelchair accessible
In a word, dreadful.
