I've hired vans and cars from here a few times over the years. Not only are they the cheapest I have found, they vehicles are ok-great, the staff are always really friendly. Not once have I caught them on a 'bad' day'. The whole process is really smooth. You can't really hire through the website, doesn't/didn't really work for me, but a quick phone call is enough and easy to book directly like that. I once took a mirror off of their van, which was my fault, but they were very kind and of course I paid. They didn't make you feel bad for it or anything. even though their guys will have to fix it and take it off the road while it waits for the new part. Moving away from London now so probably my last time I'll use them so wanted to put a review up here to say how happy I have been with their service for such a 'small' company.

Over the years, I have used many Hire firms for various vehicles. Without hesitation, I must say the Boleyn's have been head and shoulders above other firms in price, Quality, Reliability, and service. I have read others reviews on Boleyn's, and I feel that any complaints are due to their ignorance of the Licensing Laws at the DVLA. I have never ever charged for any damage to Boleyn's vehicles. It is always drummed into me when I hire their vehicles that any damage incurred whilst their vehicle is in my care is my responsibility, something which it seems one 'Reviewer' seems to have forgotten. I would not hesitate for one instant to recommend this Company to anyone wishing to Hire a Car or Van.

We had a good experience hiring a van through this company. On picking up the van, we were briefed on things we needed to know about the van and together with the company representative we went thoroughly oven any existing damage on the van. We were advised where we could safely leave the van overnight as we wished to leave it late at the end of the day rather then early the next morning. The next day I telephoned to make sure every thing was in order and a few days later my deposit was promptly returned to my credit card. The people we were friendly, the hire rate was reasonable and we would recommend this company.

Just hired a van from this company. The process was simple - place the order online and a quick follow up call. As it was my first time using the company I had to email across a few documents - all very easy though. At all times, staff were friendly and professional. When I was shown the van - everything was fully explained in a very helpful, friendly way. Also have to say - price was great - infinitely better value than some of the big name companies you may have used in the past. Going forward, I will always use this company. Nice people, great price, very easy process. Thoroughly recommended.

Not a good experience. They charged me £5 for a 90 second phone call to the DVLA to check on something to do with my license. Fair enough the call was necessary, but to not inform me of the extortionate cost of the call until after the call was made and I was just about to take the keys is underhanded and money grabbing. Very poor customer service when I challenged them on the call. Beware of any extras these thieves decide to charge. I hope they enjoy the £5 they stole off me, they won't be seeing any of my money again.

This is the second time I've used Boleyn and as last time I want disappointed. The service was impeccable and they even suggest going round with your own video when they speak about scratches etc before you take it away (nice touch!). I would highly recommend them as they are very reasonably priced in my opinion. I was driving a 2020 transit today down to Eastbourne and back and I loved it. Can was equipped with Bluetooth so I could play my music etc. If you need a van, look no further than Boleyn!

Boleyn Van hire is open Saturday and Sunday, have new and clean vans to rent and, isn't trying to crack your head open for that Saturdan van hire price, as most places I tried only can provide the rental for Saturday Sunday and return vehicle Monday for much more money. Great prices and an overnight drop off option + very nice staff you could have a cuppa tea with. Would recomend this van hire company 100% and will be my first point of call if ever I need a rental. Just superb business!

Recommend not using the overnight vehicle drop service. Ive, on two occasions, been charged for very minor damage that has on both occasions baffled and confused me - if Id dropped it off during hours and had it checked with the staff it would have been clean and clear. That said they are a local firm that have been around the area for years, they do what it says on the tin - give you a van when you want one.

Excellent hire company. Great find, needed a van asap and google brought up Boleyns. Husband Chris called on the off chance and was told to go straight there. Really nice people and all the vehicles were immaculate. Was even able to drop the van off this evening instead of early in the morning. Will definitely be using again. Highly recommend! Top place, very friendly service, all the people in there are lovely and very welcoming. Very reasonable price too. You can always get a van when you need it, if they don't have it they will get it for you from else where. 24 hour drop off which is extra bonus.

Terrible customer service from the reception / office staff. I hate to say it but go to a bigger company with better business process and customer service training. Used these guys a few years ago and they were great but this is no longer the case.

Friendly staff, decent quality vehicles at a reasonable price. They are open on Saturday morning and you can return in the middle of the night of you want to. Pretty understanding if you wrap the van around a tree too.

I have rented from here several times and have always been please with the service. Last week when I had issues with bank cards they were helplful in getting me sorted and on the road. Couldn't have expected more.
